Bagel Delight Bakery - Review - Cricklewood - London - The Infatuation
"Bagel Delight isn’t for anyone who suffers from indecision. The counters of this Cricklewood bakery are packed to the rafters with cookies, cakes, meringue pies with majestic peaks, pastries, baklava, freshly baked challah, and a whole lot more. It’s an overwhelming selection and, while lots of people pop in and take away, plenty have a sit-down with a cuppa and a creamy vanilla slice. The challah is fluffy with a nice shine, and it’s worth getting a loaf to bring home. Of the many options, a slice of apricot frangipane tart is nice (if a little too moist) and the linzer cookie doesn’t need vanilla icing inside. Even so, for a little rest and a sweet treat, Bagel Delight is just right.

Challah
You probably won’t rip into this loaf while you sit down with a tea and a slice of cake, but it’s worth knowing that this is good challah to take home.

Apricot Frangipane Tart
The shine on this tart is mightily impressive but the frangipane is a little too wet for our liking. It’s still a pleasant slice to share.

We’ve been coming here for years, today was no different. The cakes are delicious as are the pastries. But a man entering the store today jabbed my arm with his finger when we were leaving. He couldn’t have been there longer than a minute. I turned to take a bag from my mum and then felt something hard jab me. It was disgusting to be touched that way. I don’t know how good I feel about returning now. Maybe in a while because we know the lady who owns the bakery, she’s lovely.

This place seems to have a lot of delicious looking food however the food and cakes are underwhelming. The service isn’t great often lacking basic feeling of good customer service especially as there’s usually 4-5 people serving and not a smile in sight. Servers do not wear protective gloves when handling food which I found a bit gross. Ive asked for recommendation for the bakery biscuit sweets and was told were good and when I purchased and tried they were horrible hard and al tasted the same basically fake almond flavour. Honestly disappointing

Lovely cakes but service isn't so great. Made a huge order of 2 cakes over £200. Needed help carrying them and putting them inside my car which was parked in front of the shop. Asked for help and was "politely" declined. I think its quite self explanatory that I would expect to receive help considering the cakes were huge and it was an order from them.

Last minute birthday cake! They help you to choose and explain what’s inside every cake. If you haven’t preorder one already, you can choose between a 30£ cake or 38£ ready to eat. They are HUGE and really good! This place saved my birthday as I couldn’t preorder one in advance. Also the bakery makes a lot of yummy desserts that I want really to try! Highly recommended.

First time in cricklewood.
Soon as I walked into store with wife, I was impressed.
My wife received exceptional costumer service, he greeted my family and welcomed us and was surprised that we came to London.
Well done.

The shop is st a bus stop on Cricklewood Broadway and there are tables and chairs for about 20 people. They are open until late and it is a good place to have a snack and rest your feet. They always have whole cakes for a forgotten birthday or other special occasion.

Yelp
After a day of sightseeing had a craving for something sweet and stumbled upon this little bakery. Great array of cakes, cookies, pastries and breads. Excellent customer service, clean and best of all inexpensive. Located across from the Clayton Hotel in Cricklewood Broadway, London.
Be kind to yourself.

Yelp
Lots of very lovely cakes and pastries and breads on display. Very excited to go back and try some fresh local breads and deliciousness.
I went by to check it out and brought home an eclaire and this vanilla almond roll sponge cake thing. I had no need to eat both of those things and no room left in my tummy afterwards, but oh man it was worth it.
(actually the eclaire wasn't the greatest but the almond roll thing was excellent, just wish i knew it's real name)
