This is a review of the Bagel Guys, and I have to say they’re fantastic! My colleague have brought their bagels in for us twice now, and they’ve been absolutely delicious. The bagels are well-made, moist, and full of flavor. I’ve tried several different bagel varieties and their cream cheese, and everything has been top-notch. I live fairly close, so I’m excited to visit the Bagel Guys in person with my family—the kids are going to love it! According to friends, their sandwiches are excellent, so I’ll definitely make an effort to try those too. Highly recommend—delicious!

Google
Super friendly service. Delicious bagels and a pretty wide selection for such a small shop. Plus the serve cragles (croissant bagels). Which are super hard to find

David M.

Google
As if Great bagels and wonderful service was not enough this owner is gracious to donate bagels to charity to feed the homeless! Visit them often and help a great cause.

Manana S.

Google
Just discovered this awesome breakfast place. They have the freshest bagels in history of bagels! Actually very good drip coffee. Awesome staff, very friendly and helpful. 10/10

Google
First timer today and was greeted by the owner. The kindest guy. Offered me a complimentary pastry for my first time in. I’ll definitely return. Felt like a corner bagel shop in NYC where the owner knows everyone.

Katalina G.

Google
First of all can I just say, how nice the owner is!!! He makes you just want to order a bagel the way of how attentive he is. He always remembers me and is very patient. Second, I used to live in the east coast for a few years, and it was hard finding a great bagel place that mimics the same taste and consistency of nyc bagel. The owner is from Long Island so it makes sense that he knows what he’s doing. Every bagel I try always knocks it out of the park. Three, their coffee is so good. There’s a Starbucks nearby but idk why you would go there when their coffee is superb. I am a coffee snob and drink my coffee black. I am always surprised with their consistency and I heard they even have another business called coffee guys in Morgan hill(will have to try that out later) Fourth, their salads are amazing. I was running late to work and needed to pick something up quick and they noticed it and made me a salad on the spot and I was able to take something to work. Fifth, their prices are really good considering the area. Their bagels are around $4-5 with top notch quality. Cream cheese is extra and they have a bagel guy sandwich that starts off at $12 and then you can always add meat or avocado. Their salads range from $6-$9 and they are huge!!! I can’t say anything bad about them. I would go early as the place is small and gets busy quickly. They accept credit only but usually that isn’t a problem. Anyways, if you haven’t tried them out, you should. And no they didn’t pay me to post this, I just really love this place lol

Google
Quick, tasty, customizable. What more do you need in a breakfast sandwich? This place is always spot on with your orders, and the sandwiches are so yummy. The bagels are pretty good, but the sandwiches they make are freshly prepared and my favorite. My regular order here is bacon, egg and cheese — add cream cheese. Their apps idea, and a great one at that! Recommend this place over and over!

Taufiq H.

Google
Not much seating outside or inside can get pretty busy on a Sunday or Saturday. If you can get a seat outside it’s not bad A bagel with egg and cheese it’s kinda expensive at 7.50 But quality looks good and they seem to have good selection of healthy stuff

Yelp
My new favorite breakfast bagel spot! Bagel Guys puts a freshly fried egg in their sandwiches, which is hard to come by since a lot of places microwave their eggs. I haven't visited in person yet, but I've ordered from DoorDash multiple times. Bagel sandwiches are always fresh and packed with ingredients. My usual order is the Bagel Guy with bacon and I add cream cheese. Their jalapeno cream cheese has fresh jalapenos that add a nice kick. Their bagel dogs are also solid. I'll be ordering from them every time I crave a breakfast sandwich.

Yelp
I'm a big bagel fan so I'm always looking for a new place to try. I'm glad I found this little gem because the bagels are pretty tasty! I think what mainly catched my attention was the cragel, never have I've heard of it, so I mean I just had to get it. I got the bacon egg and cheese with added hashbrowns on a cragel, ofcourse!(also a big plus for having hashbrowns). It sounds like such a basic thing to get at any other bagel store, but this one was different not only because you can get your egg fried or scrambled, but also because it just tasted homemade, made the way you yourself would want a delicious breakfast bagel to be made. I might be exaggerating but everything about it was just too good, I'll definitely be back to try their other bagels and cragels!

Yelp
They have the freshest bagels around, I highly recommend this place. They even have sourdough bagels, which are unusual to find. Good breakfast sandwiches also.

Yelp
Bagel Guys never miss! They consistently deliver the best bagel options around. I usually go for the Aidells apple sausage sandwich and switch up the bagel--but this time I tried it on a jalapeño cheddar cragel and WOW... total game changer. The combo of sweet sausage and that cheesy kick? Unreal. Highly recommend stepping out of your usual order and giving it a try!

Yelp
We visited on a Thursday at noon for some bagel sandwiches. We ordered two customized bagel guys (aka bagel sandwiches) which were delicious but both my boyfriend and I felt like it needed some type of sauce since it was kind of bland. Service was great, it wasn't busy at all at noon. No "specialty lattes", but if you like regular coffee then they have options. Highlight would be the jalapeño bagel as it was actually spicy! They have seating indoors and outdoors. I would give this place a solid 8/10!

Yelp
i come here sometimes and my boyfriend comes more often than me. We love the bagels here & it would be a five stars, however we both noticed it today. Since we come separately, there's a young lady here who has a very rude tone. I thought maybe she was having a bad day, but when i asked my partner he said she is also rude to him as well. And we both know it's the same person, she wears black glasses and has a darker complexion. I came in almost 10am, she took my order. Called my name when it was ready and i said thank you & she said nothing back. Normally it's returned with a your welcome or you too. this was my first time coming in and experiencing rude customer service. Her tone and attitude toward me was just hostile, i am always treated very nicely here. Except for her.

Yelp
Tried their gluten free bagels, would recommend getting them extra-toasted. They were good but more like a bun than a bagel. Excellent bagel sandwiches and fresh squeezed orange juice! Fast service and well-staffed. However, this place is pricey and there's not a lot of seating inside.

Yelp
Probably the most money I've ever spent on a bagel but honestly worth it. I did add on hash-brown and avocado so I expected to pay a little more. They cook the fried egg to perfection, they slightly crack the yolk so it's not messy runny but more jammy. They add plenty of bacon as well. The hasbrowns were cooked perfectly so worth the extra charge. I got an everything bagel and it was delicious, chewy yet firm. Only thing missing was a little hot sauce!
google avatar

Kaeleigh S.

Yelp
Still great. Whenever we are visiting the Bay, I always make sure we stop by this lovely bagel joint. The owner is super kind and service is always wonderful. There are delicious gluten free bagels, as well as an abundance of yummy options for gluten eaters. They have sweet and savory bagels, pastries, salads, breakfast and lunch sandwiches. They also have grab and go snack items. There is a starbucks next door as well. Perfect spot all around!
google avatar

Yelp
Food: we got sourdough bagel sandwich and it was perfect. They cook everything fresh Service: The guy who runs this place is so nice Ambiance: casual, parking in the plaza

Yelp
I found not one but TWO long black hairs in my bagel BLT sandwich. Finding one in the first half was gross enough, and I honestly would've left it at that (shit happens, right?) but then--nope--lo and behold I see a black hair sticking out of the OTHER half, too. Beyond disgusting. (Note: this was delivered to my place of employment via Waiter.com).

Yelp
While I still come here from time to time and the bagels are still some that I enjoy, the customer service has been lacking. I understand that the service industry can be rough and bad days happen, but I've had awful experiences on more than one occasion. This includes no acknowledgement, no hi, no you're welcome after a thank you, and handing off the food with attitude - it's weird. This has been various employees, today a woman with long nails, the time before another woman - the only time I've really had a positive experience has been when the owner/manager is there. It would be nice to come to an establishment and not feel like an inconvenience for picking up the food you ordered.

Yelp
My new favorite bagel shop in the South Bay Area! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a very friendly good morning! I ordered a Bagel guy with meat, and a blueberry bagel with plain cream cheese. The friendly front desk person suggested I get strawberry cream cheese instead and they were absolutely correct, it was a delicious pairing. The shop itself is bustling with busy employees who all seem happy and enthusiastic about being there. The bagel guy breakfast sandwich is phenomenal. Served piping hot, it's my favorite way to start the weekend. Fabulous spot!

Yelp
Very welcoming staff! Bit expensive but delicious bagel sandwiches. We visit here whenever we are in the area

Yelp
These bagels are okayer than some of the truly terrible Bay Area bagels. They have a good selection of flavors, and I ordered a dozen for an event, plus a tub of plain cream cheese. Unfortunately they don't offer a vegan cream cheese option, so I needed to purchase that elsewhere. I wish these bagels had a good crust on them, but even when toasted, they just feel more like a dinner roll. Service was prompt, but I left my email address with them to get a receipt for company reimbursement, and it was never sent to me. I do want to return to try the innovative "cragel" (croissant bagel) but I'm still on the hunt for a good classic NY style bagel.
google avatar

Yelp
Tried this bagel place for the first time today and I must say it did not disappoint. This bagel had a fried egg, hash browns, sausage patty and jalapeño spread on a plain bagel and it was SO GOOD!
google avatar

Krissy P.

Yelp
We ordered for takeout: a bagel sandwich, a gluten free bagel sandwich, a bagel with cream cheese, some fruit, and pastries. I've never really cared for bagel sandwiches, but this one was excellent. Parking was convenient and the shop was easy to find. On a second trip, our meals were equally wonderful. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Yelp
I got a Lox Sandwich on Gluten Free Roll. $11 plus $3-3.50 for the substitution. They ask if you have an allergy or if this is a preference, which i appreciate because that means they take cross contact seriously. The capers and basil aren't in separate containers though, so there's risk there for any celiacs. They advertise this as a gluten free bun, but there's a middle hole. The bun is chewy and held its shape. Thank you for thinking about the gluten free people!
google avatar

Quynh A.

Yelp
I was eager to give this place another shot, as I felt I had made an unfortunate choice with the Jalapenos & Lox last time. Arriving at around 9 AM, I was the only one there. The display case of baked goods still held a wide array of options. I really loved the Jalapeno cragel (crossaint bagel) the last time I got it. Natural, this time, I chose it as my foundation, adding a sausage patty, fried egg, and cheddar cheese. I waited for 7-10 minutes for my cragel creation to be ready. Upon opening the sandwich, it became clear that I had made the right decision this time! IT WAS PIPPING HOT, with steam eagerly escaping as the melting cheese oozed out. I had to wait a good minute or two to avoid burning my tongue, and those were probably the longest two minutes of my life. The first bite was heavenly - there was an abundance of cheddar cheese, the cragel itself was flakey with sizable jalapenos chunks nestled within, and as always, you can never go wrong with a fried egg! I probably devoured this faster than my initial wait time - a testament to its deliciousness!! (: I'm so glad I gave this place a second chance! It is definitely one of my go-to breakfast grabs now.

Yelp
Bomb bagels and other food options! Came here after finding them on yelp! However, here are the updated menu prices! 07/2025
google avatar

Monique P.

Yelp
The bagel itself has a nice texture and flavor. I ordered a chocolate bagel, but it tastes like they cut the bagel with a knife that had some onion or onion flavoring on it. The cream cheese is super thin and almost watery.
google avatar

Priscilla D.

Yelp
I love Bagel Guys! I'm here at least once a week. My favorites: -Blueberry bagel with plain cream cheese. The bagel has lots of blueberries! -Jalapeño bagel with plain cream creams. Little kick to it and delicious! -Breakfast sandwich on plain bagel, sausage patty, cheddar cheese and a fried egg. Their eggs are actually fried there! They're not premade or preheated. Made fresh and fried -BLT, this does come with basil added but I say no basil. It's so good! Their bacon is fried there... it isn't preheated! -Caesar salad. The dressing is on the side and you just shake the box once you add it. The cheese is so fresh on it and their make their own croutons. This morning I wanted to try something different so I got a bagel dog. Very good! Was a nice change. The hot dog was wrapped in well seasoned spices! About the owner, he is the nicest guy I've ever met. He is always so cheerful! Truly makes getting breakfast here such a wonderful experience. Very clean establishment and I highly recommend coming in to try something yummy!

Yelp
Great location. Great menu. Great service. Get your food here while waiting for your Starbucks. Have a nice day!

Yelp
My bf and I got the same sandwich just diff cheeses. We LOVED it!! Cragels are amazing. Will definitely come back!
google avatar

Yelp
Plain cragel was dry. Jalapeno cheese cragel was great. Kids enjoyed the blueberry bagel. Pricey.

Yelp
Bagel Guys is unique for their "cragels" which are a hybrid between a bagel and a croissant, and they're amazing on their own or as a sandwich! They're crispy and flaky on the outside and buttery soft on the inside. I got the jalapeño cheddar cragel, and it was so good. Great, friendly service as well which made the morning better. This place does run pricey, but a lot comes with what you get; if you get the right thing it's worth it. BACON AND EGG ON JALAPEÑO CRAGEL: 5/5 This was my mom's sandwich, so I only had a few bites at most, but this was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had! We were able to ask for a fried egg that was slightly runny, and it made all the difference. The flavors of the jalapeño cragel added so much dimension to the simple bacon and egg. You could tell they are known for breakfast cragels, so I would return and get this for myself with some more fixings. LOX SANDWICH ON JALAPEÑO CRAGEL: 3.5/5 The cragel itself was amazing. The lox, however, was decent but not the best I've had. It was a little more hot-smoked than I was expecting, almost tasting like cooked salmon. I also didn't think the lox paired well with the cragel just because there was so much going on already with the jalapeño cragel in addition to the green onion cream cheese, which they definitely didn't skimp on! I wouldn't get this again, but I'm glad I tried it.

Yelp
WOW. I usually eat at home for breakfast and only eat out on vacations when it's permitted, but this morning I was having a rough start and decided I'd treat myself. This is my first time having one of their breakfast sandwiches and I can not express how perfect it was. I built my own with fried egg, avocado, bacon, and cheddar cheese on a cheese bagel. It's just the perfect bagel sandwich, not too oily and perfectly put together -- the avocado blending with the egg bacon and cheese ugh! Chefs kiss! This really hits the spot and is the perfect bagel sandwhich. I just finished eating and had to express my happiness. Thank you!!!!! Once again the man was extremely welcoming and warm. Love this place!
google avatar

Abhilasha S.

Yelp
I love their bagels. They are perfect sized and delicious. Smaller than the average bagel but I absolutely love their flavor, texture and ratio of dough to cream cheese. The jalapeño cream cheese is good but spicy. The scallion/green onion cream cheese is awesome, as is the garlic and sun dried tomato. Service is quick and friendly. They will customize your order, if you ask. The ambiance is cozy and simple like a neighborhood bagel joint. Please check this place out ASAP!
google avatar

Josephine F.

Yelp
Casual bagel shop. I ordered a ham, scrambled egg, melted butter on plain bagel, and it was very satisfying. Also tried a Nutella cragel which theoretically sounded delicious but was too hard and dense for me. Maybe because I didn't eat it right away? Not sure if I'd want to try again to find out what though because it's not cheap. Service was good; person who helped me was very friendly and helpful.
google avatar

Patty O.

Yelp
Ordered thru doordash the lox sandwich and the egg , meat and cheese sandwich. Love how they wrapped the bagels and cut it in half. The bagels were tasty since you can pick what flavor you want for the sandwich. We got the everything bagel and the garlic bagel. I added the green onion cream cheese to my egg meat and cheese sandwich which also included egg white and pepper jack cheese and sausage. Very tasty sandwiches ! Would recommend
google avatar

Steven J.

Yelp
Sounds simple but they take care in what they bake and present to the customer. Quality and friendly clean environment. I think my son is part Bagel Guy with how much he eats there. At least one leg and both arms.... Thx Bagel Guys for being here for us in our community, you are appreciated!!!
google avatar

Kristen W.

Yelp
The everything bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese was very underwhelming. Their sign also says they have gluten free bagels. When I asked about this, they said they only have gluten free rolls... Staff wasn't very friendly either when I asked about the gluten free bagels. She just looked at me with a blank stare lol It's unfortunate because I really wanted to support this place

Viet N.

Yelp
Though there are usually five people working behind the counter on a weekend morning, service is often slow, especially when they are inundated with online orders -- though I can't blame them for trying to accommodate everyone who wants to buy from them, it often leaves walk-in customers in the lurch. I've had my orders messed up several times by this shop both as an online order and walk-in, including this most recent time. Seventeen dollars for a breakfast sandwich on a cragel that's burnt and missing the cream cheese requested on the ticket. Please consider taking your business elsewhere if you're looking for a decent, timely breakfast.
google avatar

Katrina V.

Yelp
I strolled into Bagel Guys around 9am on a Monday morning. The place wasn't busy at all, so I took my time peeping the pastries in the display case as well as observing the menu. The employee at the register was very friendly and helpful. I went with a Bagel Guy with meat (chicken apple sausage) on an Everything Bagel and customized it with scrambled eggs, pepper jack cheese, and spinach. Solid sandwich! The ingredients tasted fresh, and I felt like it was crafted with love. The sandwich was made neatly and had no messy drippings. I didn't expect the baby spinach to not be sautéed, so the crispness from the baby spinach was a nice change. I didn't see the eggs get prepared, but I could tell they were made on a grill. Thanks goodness because one of my biggest pet peeves that other local bagel shops do is microwave the eggs, which makes the texture of the eggs be rubbery.
google avatar

Khuyen D.

Yelp
Wow! The cragels here are delicious - really loved the Nutella and jalepeno cheddar. They were very dense and chewy with a crispy exterior! Almost reminds me of a New York bagel :,) I was a little disappointed in the lox bagel :( looking forward to trying maybe another breakfast sandwich!
google avatar

Kaitlin A.

Yelp
Bagel Guys came to the rescue for our resident event! We ordered 7 dozen for an early morning pick-up. They were all warmed, sliced, boxed, and ready to go. They even assisted me to my car. The bagels were absolutely delicious. I called multiple nearby bagel places, this one had the best customer service! We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Susanna C.

Yelp
My first time and it is only the beginning! Delicious I also got some lox to take with me. Sublime. I got a 1/2 doz.bagels. Variety. Fresh and tasty. Friendly helpful staff. Welcoming atmosphere. These are real bagels.

Yelp
We are so blessed to have such a wonderful Bagel Shop in our WG neighborhood. It adds a good hometown feeling. All the employees are pleasant and helpful even when it's busy. Keep up the good work!

Yelp
The jalapeño cragel with plain cream cheese, so gooooood. Also the staff is super nice
google avatar

Yelp
Great breakfast sandwich and great service! The young Asian girl with the cool hair was a vibe. She was super nice. Nice way to start your day.
google avatar

Mark D.

Yelp
Best jalapeños cragel lox sandwhich I've had in a long time. Most places I've been to only do bagels, but here they do cragels too. The pricing isn't too bad either.
google avatar

Nat S.

Yelp
Bagel Guys is a pretty solid place to go grab breakfast or a sandwich. We are addicted to their breakfast sandwich. It's huge, filling, and really tasty. They don't skimp on the toppings either. I have tried the breakfast sandwich with their Everything bagel and their Jalapeño bagel. Both were good. The bagels were fresh and were slightly chewy like a good bagel should be. However, my favorite way to order it is with their Croissant. It's flaky, buttery, and really yummy. Other tasty items I have tried are the Jalapeño Cragel. Yummy and a bit spicy, which I loved. The fresh squeezed OJ is always good. Their flavored cream cheese options are tasty and not overpowered by whatever ingredient they mix in. The Basil BLT has a ton of bacon and is really good too. And their fresh fruit is really good and a huge portion. My only complaint is that if you order via DD they don't offer brewed coffee. You can buy whole bean coffee via DD but not a cup of coffee. It's definitely not a deal breaker for us but it would be nice if they did offer that. All in all I would definitely recommend this place.
google avatar

Rossewidge ..

Yelp
These are not the traditional boiled, crusty bagels. The owner tells me they use a steam injection oven. This results in a softer bite ideal for sandwiches. Another beneficial quality is the near lack of a hole through which the filling always squeezes out. I got the Bagel Guy (breakfast sandwich) with meat. At $10 it's a bit steep but only 70¢ more than the egg-and-cheese-only version. You have your choice of cheese, meat, and bagel, plus how you prefer the eggs. These are cooked-to-order eggs, not pre-made square, folded patties that get microwaved. I chose scrambled, with American cheese and sausage patty on a jalapeño bagel. Pretty satisfying. The bagel has good flavor and chew. The scramble was nicely seasoned with salt and pepper. I always take home my favorite, an onion bagel, as-is, from any shop to toast for myself later. Some places don't put enough chopped onion on top. Theirs has plenty, imparting flavor throughout. Overall, a good local place for an early bite if the need for a traditional bagel doesn't compel you
google avatar

Shari N.

Yelp
You have to come in when it's morning and the bagels are so soft! Great taste and array of fresh flavors. I had to get some for work for a meeting and everyone loved the taste and the cream cheese spreads . Quality goods!
google avatar

Haleh E.

Yelp
I love this place! Really good bagels, freshest orange juice, and strong coffee! Service is top notch and the owner is super friendly! My daughter loves their strawberry cream cheese so this is our go to place for breakfast. I highly recommend this bakery.
google avatar

Binh P.

Yelp
Got a jalapeno cragel with scrambled eggs, sausage patty, cheddar cheese, and added hash browns. The jalapenos in the cragel were pretty spicy, but overall the whole sandwich wasn't very flavorful. I couldn't even tell if hash browns were in the sandwich because they don't really add anything, no crunch, no flavor. For a $15 sandwich it's pretty disappointing. Maybe the lox bagel sandwiches will be better with extra veggies and other things to make the bagels more flavorful. But definitely not going back for breakfast sandwiches.
google avatar

Shirin B.

Yelp
This cute local bagelry was close to my house so I decided to clutch some bagels for Sunday brunch. I ordered the jalapeño cragel (basically a croissant meets bagel situation with jalapeños) and it was actually good! I got it with a fried egg, cheese and a hash brown. Making sure to specify no meat at the counter, unfortunately I opened my bagel to find bacon in it. Meat doesn't bug me too much so I just picked it off and threw it out but vegetarians do make sure to double check your bagel before you leave! Overall the sandwich was good and the hash browns were super yummy but I'm not sure if I would pay $12 for a bagel breakfast sandwich (they up charge the hash brown and the cragel), but I would probably come back for a simple bagel and spread!

Yelp
A very good way to start weekend morning right with delicious, freshly made from scratch bagels. I enjoyed their everything bagel a lot especially their seasonings taste so good the aroma still lingers in your mouth after you finished it (that is if you like garlic-y taste). Freshly scrambled eggs, applewood smoked sausage and melted cheese. This have to be one of the best bagel place in town.
