I’ve been coming to Bagel Pub at this location for +12 years. They have the best bagels in my opinion in Park Slope. Over Bagel World, La Bagel, Terrace Bagels, Bagel Hole, etc. They also have the largest ones. Some other ones are maybe 70% or 60% the size. While I have seen the price go up over the years. A bagel used to cost $1 flat including tax but now a single loose bagel 🥯 costs over $2. But cost aside, they have the largest and best bagels in the slope. Good place to catch up with a friend for coffee. My go-to bagel is the whole wheat sesame.

We were looking forward to trying these bagels that were recommended by our Brooklyn relatives. We waited over 40 minutes to get our order, were offered no explanation other than they were busy (we saw 30+ people, who came after us, get their order) and then 2 of the 3 items were wrong. No apology . Bagels were fine.

The atmosphere is great! You order at the other end of the counter. The bagels themselves aren’t too expensive but price can add up if you want a sandwich.

One of my favorite bagels place in the neighborhood. I been coming here for years and since the renovations the place looks really nice (cleaner) they did a really good job, also they have a backyard and all the staff is friendly. There’s many choices of cream cheese’s and bake goods, also the wraps are really good. Coffee is a little strong but I like it that way. My favorite thing to order is the Lox #1 with pumpernickel bagel is always on point (order that you won’t regret it), love it!

Lovely garden, great bagel - 5* , non existing cream cheese -1*, and poor service. We spent 10min to decide which cream cheese to choose, but in the end didn’t matter, since we didn’t get much.

I appreciate a stuffed bagel, solid customer service, and a calming environment to enjoy my food in. Bagel pub has it all, from an indoor dining section to an outdoor seating with sections basking in the sun, and in the shadows. Have your pick with where you would like to sit. UPDATE: I asked for extra cream cheese on my next order and they delivered. Revising my original review below. Thanks to the owner for the response! Original review: $6 (including tip) sesame bagel with the tiniest amount of cream cheese I’ve ever seen on a bagel. Absolute rip off. It should be a crime to serve a NY bagel like this.

The shop always invents new special spread flavors which never bores you. If you are a sweet tooth, you could order mixed berries or oreo fillings served with blueberry or raisin bagels. Low fat spread available with tons of variations, like tofu and veggie ones. ＊Egg everything bagel w/ tofu veggie cc ＊ Onion bagel w/ bacon chipotle cc Bagels: The bagel would be perfect if the texture was more chewy and denser. Giant size which could hardly be grabbed by one hand! Girls with smaller appetite (like me) would be satisfied after eating just half of it. Onion bagel has a prettier round bagel shape and smells alluring after toasted. While egg everything bagel is less desirable (looks more like a sandwich). The roasted garlic on top unfortunately doesn’t enhance the overall taste. Cream Cheese: Generous layer of tofu veggie cream cheese yet it was a bit too greasy for me. Instead, the amount of bacon chipotle cream cheese was adequate to reach a perfect balance. A bit spicy but acceptable for me. Stopped here for breakfast and ordered the sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel. Filling breakfast and good portions. Quick service and good black coffee for that energy boost. There is some good seating if you want to relax for a second. If you're on the go, it is wrapped in foil to keep things hot.

if you like to wait for 15 minutes for a bagel and get a lukewarm coffee while the place is empty, this is the place for you. Give me Bagel World or La Bagel Delight anytime.

I ordered delivery from here last weekend and I was really bummed by the quality of my order since I live around the block and am looking for a new bagel spot! I ordered two bagels with different flavors of cream cheese, and while the bagels were huge, they were pale and underdone. I don't know if you've ever had an underdone bagel but they're vile; doughy, dense, smell raw. Terrible. Even with requesting toasted bagels, they still weren't properly cooked. The cinnamon raisin I was able to eat because it was at least cooked through, but the everything bagel was uncooked in the middle and went in the garbage. It's a shame because their cream cheeses were so good and the portions were generous! My iced coffee was very good, so two stars.

So good we came here twice! We walked over and were amazed with the different types of cream cheeses. Everything from sweet to savory. Wish we had one in Detroit!

Bagels were super large and yummy. I had the breakfast bagel a with sausage and added cream cheese. They make their bagels daily and you can really tell the difference! The juices were good too- would recommend trying the green machine juice- cucumber, kale, spinach and apple. A great pick me up.

Ordered the breakfast special and a side of cream cheese. 27 minutes later, after my friends had consumed their food, I asked about my order. After a few minutes I was told they could not find it. I requested a refund. I'm still hungry and a little .

We were on the hunt for a good NYC bagel joint and after debating between a few places, we ultimately decided on Bagel Pub. The space is a little small but clean and the windows with all the spread and salad displays - AMAZING. Service was good and our food came out fresh. The bagels were toasted and you could taste the quality. Hubby and I tried the sesame bagel with lox spread and extra salmon, the everything bagel with bacon cheddar cream cheese. Our four kids shared a plain bagel with Nutella chip cream cheese. We also got a berry mango smoothie for the boys to share, Hubs got a cold brew and I got an iced caramel latte. Thoroughly enjoyed those as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Walk over to the cream cheese display to place your order with a staff member - really friendly people! They have a ton of cream cheese flavor options, so much more than other bagel places I've been to. They even have an Oreo cream cheese! I got the egg everything bagel, toasted, with cucumber dill cream cheese. While the bagels are thinner than I'm used to, all the flavor is still there! I also got the iced banana latte since it sounded interesting and it does nottt disappoint. 100% recommend! They've also got a milk and sugar station in front of the cashier if you'd like to sweeten it up.

amazing egg bagel with butter. I'm not a cream cheese girlie but WOW was this bagel one of the best I've ever had. The servers were very efficient and kind. It was hectic inside, so busy, but not in a bad way.

Fresh bagels, huge bagels, great spreads, good pastries, ALL MADE IN PARK SLOPE! Get here early because bagels are a morning food and that is when they taste their best. They also sell other kinds of cold salads that should definitely be taken advantage of. I do not understand why people do not buy a dozen bagels because that would give enough lunch food for a week for a family. Maybe that is uncommon. My family used to do that growing up, and I still do it to this day. The spread offerings are great and you can clearly tell these folks are making it fresh. That is a sign of something special. It is also close by the 4th Ave-9th street station. However, since the F train has been sporadic on weekends, I have had to find other, more creative ways to get here. For food like this, you do that.

Being an actual Native Ny'er my diet consists of bagels. Ive had all types of bagels all over the city. Bagel pub was a delicious suprise. First impression is the decor. 10/10. You probably won't find another bagel store that looks like this. I wanted to treat myself with an egg everything with CC and a few slices of lox. I usually don't like too much lox when I do order. The hit the mark and got the order right. The bagel itself was perfectly fluffy and had the perfect exterior chew. The lox was fresh and sliced thin with a light layer of CC. Coffee was delicious as well. Wonder what coffee they use? Workers are cool here too! Definitely on my top list of go-to bagel spots!

I stopped by this morning to pick up a dozen bagels to bring back to California. Bagel Pub has every kind of bagel you can imagine as well as a wide assortment of smears. I ordered a toasted everything bagel with lox scallion smear in addition to my dozen and it was everything I was hoping for in a bagel. The bagel had just the right amount of bite to it, there was enough seasoning on the outside of the bagel, and the perfect amount of smear. The staff was friendly and quick at preparing orders. Bagel Pub is a solid choice when it comes to bagels.

Happy to report that they're good again! Gave them another shot and it was like night and day. I don't know why they were ever in a slump, but the service is back to normal again and the orders are correct again. Thank god, because they really do have the best bagels of anywhere, in my opinion.

I'll keep this one short and sweet. When in New York, I've got to get NY bagels. And what better place than the Bagel Pub. Food options are plentiful and so delicious. The service was right on and quick. Simple stop at the counter and order away. Came quickly and so tasty. Can beat the toasted sesame bagel with lox spread. More than enough for me for sure. Love the ambiance. A simple long restaurant with a few tables in front and a nice lad the area to sit in the back. I strongly suggest you enjoy it.

Overpriced, $13 for a poppy seed bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese. High price with average quality.

Bagels and cream cheese selections are great. Service is lacking. Pancakes always take forever to be made and if ordered with other items, such as toasted bagels, bagels get cold while waiting for the griddle orders. A good suggestion would be to either not offer food from the griddle or actually make food when the customer orders. Customers behind me always get their items and I'm the last to leave every time I order. Also the people working the cash register should try to be less rude.

I was expecting to wait a very long time in here, but it felt like a well-oiled machine on the Saturday morning we went. I enjoyed my food, wish it were a tad bit closer to NJ prices, BUT, it's NYC, so I chose to fugghedaboutit. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but there were a ton of bagel options around and this is the one we went with and I was not disappointed. So many cream cheese flavors I was getting disoriented. I have never had a pumpernickel bagel before, but now I would try another one. If you want carbs, not a bad spot in my opinion.

One of my go-to locations when it comes to grabbing some breakfast. Most of the staff there are friendly and the service is fast. I haven't had anything bad from there. The bagels are good and fresh. Not that I've tried a lot from the menu but the "jumpstart" on their menu is good. I had it with a wrap and my friend with a bagel. But it's 100% filling at hits the morning empty stomach just right. Their coffee and espressos good as well. No complaints there.

I don't think the management is aware that a cashier here regularly tries to keep customers from being able to use the loyalty points system. She has said that "it's not working today" when nothing seemed different about the point of sale. She typically tries to put in your order faster than you can type your phone number in so that you can't get the points added. It's wild. Why wouldn't you want people to come back regularly? The bagels here are amazing, so it's worth coming for that. This is a part of the hospitality industry, and management's seemingly tacit approval of this hostile customer service encourages the community to settle for other bagel places that value their customers.

This is the first time to this Bagel Pub and my first was to the little known location on the corner of 36 st and 4 ave. For some reason the 36 street location is not easy to find on Yelp. I find everything in Park Slope in general a little grungy and tired looking. It's not an industrial look either. The location on 36 st looks bright, new cleaner. This is a much larger location with cafe seating in the back. In term of being COVID-19 ready, everyone had masks on, signs posted at the front door, Hand sanitizer available, all the customers were properly masked and did a decent job social distancing. There is cafe style seating available out front and picnic table type garden seating in the back. Service- was ok, the staff was efficient although they were not outgoing or super friendly. It was more like a production line. I like when there is interaction and the staff strikes up a conversation. Food-I come here for one thing and that's the bagels and lox. This time I had a whole wheat bagel, lox and walnut cream cheese which were all excellent. I'm not sure how great their paninis and wraps are. I imagine it depends what you put inside. I also had the Immune Boost juice which is carrot, celery and Kale. It was good and they have a very good selection of juices, smoothies, coffee, teas etc. The hours during the week are a little odd 6:30 am to 3:30 pm although I understand they are geared up more for commuters and cater to more of a breakfast lunch crowd. Overall it was a good experience although I was much happier at the 36 street spot.

Ordered pick-up from Bagel Pub on Saturday morning. The bagels were good, but it was a bit pricey and actually getting my food was a mess. Quality: Ordered several bagels, and I had a few bites of each. I started with an Everything Bagel With Sausage, Egg, & Cheese, which was the best of the bunch. It was toasted, so even sitting out for a while, it stayed warm. The melty cheese and smoky sausage were perfection. A close second best goes to a Cinnamon Raisin Bagel With Cream Cheese & Jelly. A nice amount of sweetness and the jelly proved a good compliment. I was less excited about the Bagel With Regular Cream Cheese, a little tough and seemed less fresh than the Cinnamon Raisin Bagel. However, the only real disappointment was the Everything Bagel With Nova Scotia Lox & Cream Cheese. It was very heavy on salt, which was certainly not helped by my choices of Everything Bagel or the Scallion Cream Cheese. But the fatal flaw was the fish, which was simply too overpowering. Quantity: Standard size bagels, the sandwiches are quite large. Value: $4 for a Bagel With Regular Cream Cheese. $8 for a Bagel With Sausage, Egg, & Cheese. $12 for a Bagel With Nova Scotia Lox & Cream Cheese. Ambiance: Bagel Pub is a shop located in Park Slope, along 9th Street. It looks like it is going to be a larger space from the outside, but it was a tight squeeze. For new orders, they have you head all the way to the back of the shop and slowly loop around. There is a pick-up area near the front by the register, but it is a disorganized mess. In a small cove they had two tables, which was definitely not sufficient for a busy weekend. The real problem was there was no comfortable space to wait and bodies just piled up. Crowd: It was extremely crowded on Saturday morning. I thought I was smart to order online, but that just led me to be stuck at the location longer and ignored. Service: Absolute chaos. The ordering system makes no sense, and they only call out some names on orders. I ordered online, and when I arrived and asked about it I was told it would be a few more minutes. Fifteen minutes later I learn my food had been sitting there the whole time. This was not the case for only me, as many other guests were frustrated by the process. Parking: A few spots out front, street spots in the nearby residential area.

While I lived in New York, I searched far and wide to find the best bagels, only to find that my favorite was Bagel Pub... They have the best Everything bagels and tofu scallion cream cheese. I've had some others that didn't quite hit the spot. Best of all, they have a rewards program for loyal customers. Just not the warmest or welcoming atmosphere, but it's pretty standard New York...

Wow! I didn't get the NY bagel hype until I had one. That NY tap water magic! We've had 2 bagel visits during our latest trip to the City and the bagel spreads looked like gelato displays- mounds of cream cheese spreads beautifully arrayed and decorated. I ordered the everything bagel toasted with lox and scallions spread. It was yummy! A generous spread of creamy lox provided the balance of salty, sweet, and silky texture. The scallions were a refreshing fresh herb that provided the peppery and somewhat spicy flavor notes. There were whimsical cream cheese spreads, like Oreo and tofu... a flavor suitable for every taste buds and diet. The store was busy when we came. There aren't much seating available inside but the great thing is bagels are portable and a walking friendly food.

Wow, what an Insanely huge selection of cream cheese they have. -zaatar, tofu, chipotle bacon, bacon cheddar, Oreo, lox, jalapeño cheddar, mixed berry, pumpkin, low fat veggie, caramel apple, strawberry, garlic and herb, and like 10 others. We didn't get to try them yet but now want to come back and try more!

Bagel Pub is a good spot if you're in the area. When I lived in NY I took my buddy to my favorite neighborhood bagel spot and now that that roles are reversed he took me to his. I tried to replicate what I used to get. A bacon and egg on an everything bagel and another bagel with garlic-scallion spread. They didn't have garlic-scallion, so I got a garlic bagel with bacon scallion spread instead. The bagels themselves were pretty good with a soft, chewy core with a nicely boiled outside. The everything bagel though was all right, you know how a good everything bagel will taste like, well, everything? The bagel here was okay, with a burst of onion every other bite. The garlic bagel was definitely tastier, getting a single flavor bagel brings the flavor out. I'm not a big coffee drinker so I appreciated they had flavored iced teas. My first visit I got their strawberry iced tea which was a little on the sweeter side but was basically gone because it was so good. They'll also do an Arnold Palmer for you, that balances out the sweetness from the lemonade.

I love this place. I've been to other Bagel Pub locations but this spot is my favorite. They have the best iced coffee. Everyone says "good morning" the minute you walk in. The counter person starts preparing my drink as soon as she sees me. I usually get a grilled cheese on whole wheat, but I've tried there bagels, croissants, oatmeal, French toast, wraps and sandwiches. Everything is really fresh. Today I picked up a sandwich for lunch. I got a roll with fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, basil and a little balsamic glaze. It was absolutely delicious!! I also grabbed an oatmeal raisin cookie and that too was fresh & delish. The place is super clean and when I come in the morning the staff is usually preparing fresh fruit for their juices & smoothies, or creating yogurt parfaits. The bagels are perfect, soft and crispy never doughy or tough. They have a million Sandwich combos to choose from and they come with fries or a salad. The prices are perfect for the amount of food you get. (Hearty Portions) This is my breakfast, and now lunch go to spot! If you're in the area pop in and grab something to sit in their backyard patio and enjoy. Warning..order ahead of time to skip long waits. This place is awesome and the neighborhood knows it ..it gets pretty busy!

Stopped in to pick up a bagel before a long drive / hike. I got a toasted sesame with vegetarian omelette to go. Ate it within 20 minutes but it was already a bit soggy =\ Totally not their fault, but I wasn't that into the omelette either. Was just sort of bland and a bit of a struggle to get though, even when I was hungry later. If I found myself in the same situation (in park slope and in need of food for later) I'd probably still come here, but maybe I'd just get a bagel with cream cheese instead. A slightly safer option! Definitely didn't think this place was bad, just super middle of the road (that particular bagel at least!)

I cannot believe I've never written a review for the Bagel Pub! This little shop is beyond amazing. They make fresh Brooklyn bagels every day. There's also over 10+ cream cheese flavors you could choose from to smear the bagel of your liking. You could also even add lox or get a bacon, egg, and cheese! Bagels are soft in the middle with the perfect crust. FYI, my mouth is watering while I write this review. Staff works hard and are attentive. They get super busy here, so there might be a wait, but trust me you will not regret it. One bite into a bagel and you will never go to another shop again. I love these bagels so much that I have to buy a few dozen to bring to family and friends in Massachusetts (as per their request). TIP: Seats are limited, so arrive early or take your bagel(s) to go!

This is my go-to spot hands down. The bacon, egg, and cheese is incredibly balanced and flavorful. Bagel Pub is exactly what you want when you're craving one of these sandwiches. I live right across the street from another bagel joint, but this place is worth the extra 10 minute walk! Also- the black and white cookies here have no right being as delicious as they are. Go early for them- you'll never regret eating a black and white at 9am ever again.

Ordered delivery from the location in Park Slope and they were almost half an hour late, and they got half the order wrong. Never again!

I stopped here in a rush as it was on my way to my destination and was utterly shocked at the quality of this bagel. I had a garlic bagel w/ avocado, turkey bacon, egg, pepper jack cheese and SPK. It was probably the best bagel sandwich I've had in NYC or NJ (I have had many, many bagels). Bagel was dense but fluffy and all ingredients were quality. Based on other reviews I don't know if I got lucky or if this place is just legit. I'll be back to try it again.

We happened to be in the neighborhood on a rainy Sunday morning. Pros: This place is absolutely amazing. I love their bagels here! Cons: They have very limited indoor space. It's not a good idea to eat in. Menu is a bit confusing to me.

Almost $16 for a small salad with non-organic chicken and vegetables. Their prices are hilarious and staff (mostly the girls at the register) are consistently rude

I didn't know that just because it says it comes with baccon , that it actually doesn't . Probably don't need the extra fats anyway , so this 15$ lettuce , tomato , cheese , and chicken sandwich was ok.

I love this place. The bagels are good, the food is good, the cheese is good, the lox is good, the coffee is good, the menu is huge, and there is outside sitting with people that will actually get up and say: "here, we are finished". To me, this is the essence of Brooklyn, where no one suffers from hysteria and/or delusions of grandeur. If you don't like bagels, there's other baked stuff too. Just saying.

Woman at counter was so high we needed to repeat our order three times. She still got it wrong. Food is usually fine but these are some goyshe bagels.

The ABC (avocado, bacon, cheddar) on an everything bagel is divine. I never understood the fuss about NYC bagels until I finally had one. Yum! That crunchy outside and soft chewy inside will be playing on repeat in my dreams. If a toasted bagel with cream cheese is more your scene then Bagel Pub has you covered. I've never seen a more expansive or beautiful collection of cream cheese flavors. Next time I'm in town I'll try some out.

GOOD PLACE FOR BREAKFAST. From smoothies, bagels with almost anything, coffee, you'll find almost anything at this spot. It's a bit hidden, next to the McDonalds and with a black window in the front.. it's possible to miss it. Once you come inside, you'll fell this cozy feeling of a well attended place, with proper decor. If you arrive before 8 AM, you'll be the first in line and food will come out quickly. At about 8:15 AM, you're a bit late: The line is up to 10 people and food obviously takes a bit longer to be ready, since it's all cooked to order. The smoothies are good, I ordered "The Hulk" ($4.95) with spinach, banana, kale, coconut water and some other vegetables that made it tasty! The food is decent, fair price for what you pay. I ordered the LEO bagel ($10 USD, stands for Lux, Egg, Onions) and asked for avocado instead of the onions. My colleague ordered the French Toast with bacon and sausage and it disappointed him, as the toast was not cooked thoroughly... According to him, the bacon was also undercooked.

Used to be my favorite place for blueberry bagels. Whole wheat are NOT the same. Today there were none at 11am on a Thursday. They've gone completely the other way by offering too many options which I think decreases the quality of their products. If you like places with a million options, effectively a diner, than this is the place for you. Moving onto a different bagel place now...

Solid bagel spot with tons and tons of options. Bagels are on the large side and have always been quite fresh. They have tons of delicious spreads, sandwich options, smoothies as well as great coffee options. A very good go to for a group since they have something for everything.

Whenever I think bagels in Brooklyn I think Bagel Pub. I've been coming here or ordering from here for years. During peak times of breakfast and lunch expect a good wait but the freshness and assortment of bagels, spreads, juices and other breakfast,) and lunch options is well worth it. Bagel Pub is a tad pricey, with a loaded lox bagel running as much as $15. That's just the price of quality. If anyone can point me to a cheaper but just as good place, slide on in into my DMs. My buddy and I have a tradition to come here after our semi annual dental cleanings. We partake in a ginger shot and bagel each. WARNING: The ginger shot isn't for the faint of heart. It will put hair on your chest and cure whatever ails ya!

I ordered baked salmon spread but I got something completely different. I told the staff that I wanted baked salmon four times but the person didn't seem to understand. He gave me lox without cream cheese instead. I am not in the mood for smoked salmon today. I just wasted $10 on something that I had to throw away. If the staff is not sure about what the customer is ordering, please double check with the customer.

I'm not even sure where to start this review, given that bagel pub and I are in a serious, long-term relationship. I have been living in Brooklyn for 7 years and ever since the first time I stepped foot into BP, I was hooked. I am a sucker for fresh, doughy bagels and Bagel Pub makes these guys perfectly. What I love about this place is that it doesn't just nail breakfast, it is a solid spot for lunch too. Their tuna is so good, their sandwiches are great, and everything is made fresh and to order. I mean you seriously cannot go wrong. They have an ABC bagel: avocado, bacon, cheddar. You can also get this as an egg platter. Just. So. Good! Their coffee is amazing too! I love their cold brew. Their smoothies?! Ummmm yes. Fresh pressed juices?! Bagel Pub can do no wrong! We love BP and are so grateful for their quality of food we'll be back to visit very soon!
