The wait time today was extremely long for our bagels and the staff was quite harsh and inhospitable. however one of their staff members apologized to us about the wait and left us a better impression of the staff. The bagels were fantastic.

Google
Great bagels, amazing spread of spreads! Kind of difficult to navigate the first time. It’s tight, crowded and the floor and sidewalk massively uneven. Lots of dogs not well attended- so if you’re like me and trying to get through with a service dog, or if you are in a wheelchair- I recommend ordering ahead and asking one of the delightful folks sitting outside to get your order. The bagels have that satisfying mix of boiled baked malted NY - and they have lots of every type so you can buy as many cinnamon raisin as needed.

Google
A yummy bagel spot in NYC that offers a variety of cream cheese flavors!🗽🥯 Bagel Pub has multiple locations in the area! Atmosphere: The place was busy when we visited and seems to be a frequent spot for breakfast. The space is long and rectangular and offers seating outside, inside in the front, and in the back (which looked so cozy)! Service: The workers are quick on their feet and ensured that all customers were taken care of by asking if we were ready to order. We didn’t wait long for the bagel. Menu items: They had a large variety of cream cheese and bagel options. It was honestly hard for me to choose what I wanted! I ended up going with the Onion Bagel with Scallion Cream Cheese—a go-to for me. They also had several sweet, cream cheese options as well. The presentation behind the glass added to the quality of the place as seen in the pictures! The best part was that the bagel was toasted perfectly and was easy to chew (I’ve had some tough bagels before!) There are so many different combinations with their bagel and cream cheese options that allow costumers to get something new everyday. Aside from that, they offer so many other menu items such as salads, bagel sandwiches, wraps, paninis, coffee, and more!☕️🥯

Google
Review is only based on the bagel I got (not even sandwich, I made my own at home.) definitely outstanding bagel recipe! 🖤❤️‍🔥🥯pumpernickel bag I got was amazing..! Haven’t been amazed by bagel for a while.. edge was crisp, soft inner, and a funky taste.

Follow me on Instagram and TikTok@posh.antics I LOVEEEEEEE this place! Best Egg bagels in Brooklyn & it’s not up for debate!!!! They have a ton of options! Something for everyone AND they make hot food the ABC is AMAZINNNGGGGG deal! This place isn’t necessarily “cheap” but it isssss GOOD! I got a sandwich on an egg bagel , large watermelon lemonade (fresh squeezed watermelon) , an egg bagel to go w/ a 1/4 lb of scallion lox cream cheese ! 10/10 ALWAYS & I’ve been to the one on Franklin Ave also! The space is sooo inviting and relaxing you can do work and the art work is awesome to! It’s famous paintings with a bagel head instead. THERE IS ONLY 1 bathroom but it’s super clean! I loveeeee Bagel Pub I wish I lived close to one! I go out my way to eat here especially if I am in the area.

Google
Great bagels but 2/2 visits were not a nice experience. First time I received an iced coffee with expired milk (which the staff didn’t believe me and actually took a sip of my coffee to check) and the second time the staff was rude, unhelpful and messed up both bagel orders. Not sure how many places can screw up a bagel order but they did it!

Google
The ambiance was great. The artwork was funny and bagel themed. Great spot to sit outdoors or indoors. The noice level was nigher than average, but you could still hear your dining partner. We ate there yesterday morning, the morning of a holiday weekend, and it was busy but the staff kept things running so smoothly. Our order was accurate and was finished relatively quickly, considering how busy they were. The day before, we ate at Liberty Bagels but we determined this restaurant was elite. The selection of spreads was amazing. I love how it's set up the way a gelateria is. My only complaint that keeps this from being a 5 star review was the issues I had with ordering online. I tried several times to pay to complete my order but it wouldn't let me. It made the wait time a bit longer since I spent time trying to order digitally, but the line moved pretty quick. Like I said, the staff is efficient and works well as a team

Google
The staff got our order wrong, serving the incorrect items and serving people who arrived much later before us. We only received our food after asking many times. At one point, they told me it took 25 minutes to cook a veggie burger! When I said it absolutely does not, they huffed, rolled their eyes, then walked back and immediately returned with our item. They had clearly prepared it and just left it sitting around. The manager only offered store credit not a refund, and store credit is obviously worthless at a place like this.

Yelp
I always walk by and see such a crowd here. Very popular spot but the service is efficient. The space has a lot of seating indoors, outdoors, and in the back. They have a variety of bagels, cream cheese options, sandwiches, salads, etc. I went with the Fresh Lox #1 on an everything bagel. Good solid spot to satisfy your bagel craving.

Yelp
This place was crowded but the line moves very quickly! The vibe feels very much like a cozy old world pub (hence the name) fused with a bagel shop. They have so many different types of cream cheese, and are very generous with it on each bagel. I had the pastrami lox bagel sandwich which was a huge meal! You could easily share it or save for leftovers. The banana latte was very interesting--they blend banana into the milk so it's almost like a latte smoothie! Really enjoyed it.
google avatar

Yelp
Most bagel places only sell drip coffee, much to my delight Bagel Pub also serves Espresso drinks, and pretty good ones, too. Both the latte and chai latte were great. Their bagels are also solid. I overdid it a little bit by getting sun-dried tomato cream cheese, an egg, and onion, lettuce, and tomato. The bagel ended up quite packed and ended up being a juicy, slippery mess. Will probably opt for fewer watery veggies next time, but bagel and cheese were great!

Yelp
My brother and his girlfriend took my fiancé and I to Bagel Pub for lunch during our visit to NYC and it was fabulous! It was my first New York bagel and it did not disappoint! This location in particular has a really cozy vibe with plenty of fun bagel paintings adorning the walls! Service was fast and easy, and everything tasted great! My fiancé got lox on an everything rye bagel which I had never seen before, it was tasty!

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my bagels from here. I really like their bagels. The breading was fresh, chewy, juicy if that even makes sense, and delicious. I got the "Everything" bagel 2x. I got a ABC Omelette Breakfast Sandwich which was warm and delicious. Great flavors and warm and chewy ingredients. I was also very impressed with the Lox #2 Bagel. The capers, onions, tomatoes, scallion cream cheese, and fresh lox paired superbly together. One of the better bagel shops in NYC for sure and definitely in this area. 100% would get again.

Yelp
Hate to write this review but this was some of the worst service I've ever received. There was no line but waited by the "order here" spot for about 15 minutes. No one acknowledged me. The workers were by the grill laughing and just wiping things. When I actually ordered, I stood in store for 30 minutes, there were no order tickets other than mine. When I got my order, the bagel was cold the eggs were lukewarm. Definitely not a bagel pub experience. I was extremely disappointed and shocked by this. Wow

Yelp
The fanciest bagel store in Park Slope Brooklyn. BP is always packed in the morning. They offer something for everyone and the prices are not outrageous. On weekends, it is a family destination. The staff is friendly and service is excellent, considering many mornings of long lines.

Yelp
Classic bagel and coffee combo. Loved the brick interior with interesting decor, and quick service. Bagel sandwich was huge and served as two meals for me on a work-from-home day.

Yelp
These bagels are lovely and really hit the spot. There are plenty of options for what to add to a bagel - I suggest looking at the menu before you get there to have a solid option cause there is just too much to look at in person. They've got some good options for vegetarians as well. They were super busy and quick with their orders. The staff were super friendly too. This is a great spot to grab a bite with a friend and catchup or just read. Not the best spot to work on your laptop since it's so busy. Vibes are really lovely.
google avatar

Yelp
Great selection of fresh bagels and cream cheese spreads of multiple dimensions.. also meats and salads to choose from. Service was good you order and wait limited seats. Had the narrow hallway deli vibe . Deliciously Incredible choices ..

Yelp
Bagel Pub never disappoints, it's got to be my favorite bagel spot in New York!! Really enjoyed the egg everything bagel with jalapeño and cilantro tuna salad Love when a bagel is toasted but still very chewy, and Bagel Pub is generous with the amount of cream cheese. I've also tried their blueberry bagel, and it was so fresh! There's always a line, but it moves pretty quickly. Some seating indoors and outdoors, may not be guaranteed and just depends. Definitely check it out!!
google avatar

Jina P.

Yelp
I got the ABC sandwich on an everything bagel. Bagel Pub is one of my favorite spots for bagels in the city and definitely the best in the area. The everything bagel has the right amount of seasoning and has the right amount of chewiness in the inside and crispness on the outside. They also didn't skimp on the bacon which I appreciated. The sandwich did take a hot minute to come out but otherwise Bagel Pub is a great spot to go for a quick bite :)

Yelp
Always great bagels from bagel pub. Their bagels have gotten more expensive recently, but they're still my go-to for a solid bagel in the neighborhood. One of my favorite things is that they have a whole wheat everything bagel which is so fun! They almost always have a line but they're quick. The seating inside this location is limited but there's generally pretty quick table turnover or there is a bar area where you can sit or stand if you're just one or two people. This location is super close to the park too!
google avatar

Marc Stuart J.

Yelp
Best bagels in the area. Only downside is the crowds during lunch rushes, but that goes to show you how much people love the food. Sometimes the easiest order will be the slowest because it seems like take the orders in batches and bring them out in batches.
google avatar

Brandon Y.

Yelp
Came here again to try another option and I got the Blueberry bagel with Mixed Berry Cream Cheese this time. It looks super pretty but when they asked if I wanted it toasted, I said "No, no toasted" and then I literally see them toast it in front of me. Like, WHAT LOL.

Yelp
I won't mince words here. I love Bagel Pub. Whenever I'm at the edge of Park Slope I make it a point to visit this location for a tasty and satisfying meal. Bagel Pub's bagels are made fresh on site and with the huge lines going out the door on weekends, you can bet that the turnover on the bagels happens fast, so you're pretty much guaranteed a fresh bagel. On top of that they have a wonderful selection of cream cheese spreads (including if you prefer, a tofu spread) or if you want to get fancy, my personal favorite is their whitefish salad which is wonderfully savory without being overly salty. Wait, what was that about long lines? Yes, you're going to have to deal with at least 5-10 people in front of you at any given time on the weekends but the person who takes orders moves fast so you'll get through that part of the line quickly. What will take a bit longer is the actual preparation of your order. Don't get me wrong, the staff is constantly hustling. No one is twiddling their thumbs behind the counter, but sheer volume keeps orders from coming out near instantaneously. My typical wait ranges anywhere from 5-10 minutes when I order a couple bagels with cream cheese and/or whitefish salad. There is plenty of seating outside the cafe, but there are some tables inside as well. This location used to be a semi-formal looking restaurant. Not super fancy but wood everywhere, nice lamps and tables etc. Much of that original interior has been maintained and added on to. There's still plenty of wood and it feels both comfortable and above average at the same time. One of my favorite decor elements? A series of paintings based on classic paintings but featuring bagels. Imagine say, Starry Night, but with bagels in the sky instead of stars. They're super cute and fun! The bagels themselves are wonderfully done. The outside is nice and firm, but the interior is light, fluffy and chewy. Among my favorite flavors are their egg and sesame bagels. Bagel Pub is a favorite of mine and I highly recommend you visit if you can!

Yelp
Really amazing bagels! Cute spot to sit and enjoy it, but not a ton of seating. Definitely busy and kinda pricey but to be expected in NY
google avatar

Katelynn D.

Yelp
Bagels are delicious but customer service is not great. I recently had a substantial order for pick up-I arrived and were told they were closed. I had to repeatedly said I had an order to be allowed in and given what I had already paid for- which after bringing home, I am finding that four of my bagels are missing, and I was not refunded for them. No one is available to contact and really hoping Bagel Pub gives me a refund.

Yelp
the bagel was good, im no conosior and i also tried a bagel ive never had before. would reccomebd 100 percent. the only thing is the back smelled like sewage. not sure whats going on there. the workers also seem a little stressed, which makes sense.
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
got lox #2 on an everything bagel and my brother got the BE&C on an egg bagel. both were delish and the filling was not skimpy. we also got the sweet treat pressed juice and it went well with the bagels! service was good.

Georgia B.

Yelp
Fantastic breakfast bagel sandwiches. And the selection of cream cheese blends were as good to look at as they were to eat.
google avatar

Phil H.

Yelp
Terrific bagel joint to grab a morning coffee and bite to eat. Very busy on the weekend but the lines move fast as there are plenty of staff working the counter. Delicious bagels and a ton of spreads to choose from. Breakfast sandwiches, salads, wraps, and more. The back area is set up as a lounge with fun bagel inspired renditions of famous paintings and pictures. Also along the wall seating there are a bunch of bagel images to get a chuckle at. They have outside searing too.

Lily -.

Yelp
Best bagels in the area! Im here 2 nd time and love the bagels again! Want to come back again and again:) highly recommend this place! Coffee is very good as well!

Yelp
I used to live right across the street from this place and am glad to have had some overlap with Bagel Pub. We decided to come here on a late Saturday morning since we had visitors who also previously lived across the street from Bagel Pub and were craving a New York bagel. The weekend morning lines for Bagel Pub are always pretty long, but move at a decent pace, even if the line is out the door. I am a psychopath and don't really care for cream cheese and always came here to get dry bagels to-go, and while their cinnamon raisin and everything bagels are pretty good, I decided to order the whitefish salad to go with my everything bagel during this most recent trip. And it definitely did not disappoint! The bagel was perfectly warm (and not toasted) and went deliciously well with the whitefish salad, that did not have a fishy taste/smell at all! While waiting in the line can be annoying, it usually guarantees that you'll receive a fresh bagel. If you aren't super opposed to waiting and have the time, come during a weekend morning (around 9-11 am) to ensure getting a fresh bagel. I'll definitely be back for the whitefish salad sandwich. The one complaint that I do have is that the bagels here are more expensive than any of the other nearby bagel shops.
google avatar

Joseph Q.

Yelp
The selection of cheeses, bagels and styles is what made this place so good. The service was quick and easy, we found a spot to eat outside where I met a local guy give me a hard time for sitting next to him which is the NYC warm welcome i was looking for! Overall a really nice comfortable spot to sit down at.
google avatar

Rosy H.

Yelp
We used to go to the bagel shoppe across the street from us, but now we're ordering delivery from this place because it is 15% better, and a 15% better bagel is worth paying a delivery fee for What makes it better? More salt, more flavor? Insane cream cheese options including Cookie Monster cream cheese? It's in Park Slope so I feel fancier? Classic art reinterpreted with bagels? It may be a chain, but it's got the local charm. Come on a weekend morning to experience the crush of Brooklynites trying to get their carb on
google avatar

Jonathan E.

Yelp
The used the wrong bagel and then punished us for getting it corrected by not putting enough cream cheese on it to cover the inside. Seems to be a recurring thing at this location.

Kate B.

Yelp
Always love this place! Positive energy and the outside seating is great in the warmer weather. I wish it were open a little later! It closes pretty early. The only downside is that it needs more indoor seating.
google avatar

Rachael M.

Yelp
I love Bagel Pub so much. I almost always get the same thing and they always make an amazingly consistent, fluffy, delicious New York bagel. I've taken my mom here and she decided they make the best bagels she's ever eaten. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
google avatar

Vicky P.

Yelp
This is my go to bagel spot! Some of my favorites are the Lox and Scallion Cream cheese and also the ABC special (avocado, bacon, cheddar, egg). Their hash browns are also amazingly crisp and yummy
google avatar

Hsin-Yi W.

Yelp
There was a long line when we walked by and we joined the line out of curiosity. The wait wasn't too bad about 15 minutes, but the options were limited already on a Sunday noon. We got 2 bagels, whole wheat everything and cinnamon raisin with LOX spread and the portion of the spread was great with a decent price. The bagels were okay with no surprise and the spread was delicious.
google avatar

Pamela K.

Yelp
Bagel Pub is amazing for bagels, sandwiches and coffee. The staff is great, the service is quick and the bagels and coffee are always consistently delicious!! Bagel Pub has been my go-to all pandemic. They offer a solid and strong New York bagel. Let's talk about the coffee. Delicious drip! But my favorite drink from Bagel Pub hands down is the iced banana latte!! Espresso with milk that is blended with fresh bananas. It can't be beat! Bagel Pub has an app to order ahead (but limited customization options) and a loyalty program that earns you a $1 or $2 off every so often as well. Bagel Pub is a great stop in any day of the week!
google avatar

Kirtana S.

Yelp
Delicious bagels, cute neighborhood joint. So many options so very easy to go with a group of people. Went on Mother's Day and it took an hour to get our bagels, but we appreciate that they disclosed that as we ordered so we didn't have to be surprised at how long it took. We took a walk in Prospect park while waiting.
google avatar

Tiana J.

Yelp
The bagel sandwiches we had were pretty good. I had the jumpstart and my gf had the western with bacon and we added garlic herb cream cheese. We also had the berry mango smoothie and the banana latte. I will say the latte was my favorite but the smoothie was a little tart. Overall for these 5 items cost $50 and that was a little steep personally for what we got. Sandwiches are thick but mine fell apart after the first bite. It also took a little time for someone to get my order and me to receive the food but they were busy. Met a nice local lady in line. Was good but I think I would keep trying the many variety of bagel places on my next visit.
google avatar

Amanda H.

Yelp
Full service bagel, sandwich and coffee shop - full stop. So many amazing spreads, cream cheeses, smears. They have smoothies, juices, teas - anything you need. I like to get breakfast sandwiches with toasted everything bagels the ABC (Avocado, Bacon, Cheddar) is my fav. I also like to get other bagel varieties with spreads like white fish yum! It's a nice coffee shop vibe with good ice and hot coffee, and good service. There's a little backyard patio outdoor seating area that's great in the summer. Consistent, fresh, and a great location.
google avatar

Stephanie L.

Yelp
Let's talk about how good these b-a-g-e-l-s are. 1. Bagels are Super fresh. 2. The Flavor is spot on. 3. The Cream cheese is so fresh it's like the milk had just emerged from the cow, pasteurized, lactic-acid-added, whey-ed, and curds processed all in the past 2 hours. It's fresh to death. 4. Generously filled. I've had the ABC egg on a whole wheat everything bagel that was toasted well, generously filled and delicious. I've had a whole wheat everything bagel (lightly toasted) with lox cream cheese. The cream cheese was very fresh with a whipped, fluffy texture and the bagel was also fluffy and fresh. I highly recommend this Pub of Bagels!
google avatar

Terri C.

Yelp
You have to have bagels at least once while in New York. Bagel Pub was highly recommended to us by my son's girlfriend and we're happy we had a chance to stop by. It's a lot bigger than I expected and the menu has a lot more to offer than just bagels and cream cheese. You'll find omelettes, pancakes, French Toast, pastries, sandwiches, burgers, wraps, quesadillas, salads, and paninis, too. In addition, they offer coffee and tea drinks, fresh-squeezed juices, and smoothies. There is seating out front so you can order and enjoy your food al fresco. There was a line when we arrived, but it moved quickly and we had our orders before too long. I went with my usual everything bagel with cream cheese and a hot oat milk latte, plus a black and white cookie to eat later. I appreciated the cream cheese to bagel ratio--it was a very generous amount of cream cheese! The bagel had a nice chew and the cookie was devoured later that night when we were in Manhattan and I was needing a snack stat! If you're near one of the Bagel Pub locations, you will probably find something you're craving on the menu to satisfy your stomach.

Yelp
Loved Bagel Pub on 7th Ave in Park Slope! Coffee was on point and the bagels were so fresh. Our order was very quick to come out - maybe 10 minutes. The portion is not skimpy whatsoever which was awesome! Also loved the woodwork inside the bagel shop. Very nice ambiance. Can't wait to return!
google avatar

Kimberly B.

Yelp
I love stopping at Bagel Pun whenever I'm in the area. The ambiance is awesome, the food is delicious, the employees are friendly. I really love this place! Can't wait to visit again so that I can go back.

Yelp
One does not simply visit New York without stopping at a local bagel shop! We stopped in here based on our friend's recommendation and we were glad we did! These bagels truly speak for themselves! They were some of the freshest, fluffiest, tastiest bagels we had ever eaten! We liked it so much we went back a second time during our trip! They have a large selection of fresh bagels which are "hand rolled, kettle boiled, and baked fresh every day!" They also have a large selection of gourmet cream cheeses! The first time we went we got an everything bagel with plain cream cheese and an everything bagel with vegan cream cheese. We also got ice coffee to go. The second time we got another vegan everything bagel and I opted for the pumpernickel everything bagel with cream cheese-and-Nova Scotia lox spread. They were delicious down to the last bite! Unfortunately I had to give them 4 stars because the ice coffees we got were pretty gross. Please skip the coffee, there are plenty of other places to go nearby. Beware sometimes the line can be very long, but this is a testament to how good their bagels are! It's worth the wait!
google avatar

Tasha B.

Yelp
Love this place! It's my go to local spot. They get busy around 8:30/9:00 with the before school/work crowd, but they move quickly.

Yelp
As tourists, on May 20, 2023 we attempted to place an order for two "classic" sandwiches on bagel. The gentleman taking my order continued to ask me what number was the item I was trying to order. The classic sandwiches have NO number. He directed me to walk back to the menu (which would have meant that I would lose my place in line). Fortunately I had taken a picture of the menu, pulled up the picture of the menu on my phone to show the gentleman. Also he said the classic sandwich could not be made in a bagel (the menu says otherwise). I thought that would clarify things; it didn't. I asked to add fries to the grilled chicken cutlet classic sandwich for an additional $4. He responded this was impossible and called over a female CO worker who shook her head "no" as in "No, this can't be added (although the menu says this is an option) see pic Ordering 2nd sandwich went basically the same way. The staff member asked "What number?" "Sir, The classic sandwiches do not have a number" I respond. Then I proceed to show him again from the picture of the classic sandwich menu on my phone of the classic lox sandwich. Discussion ensued about option 1, 2, and 3. "This is what I want. Please add a side salad". Ordering-taking gymnastics is done. Dismounting and moving to the cashier. The cashier is ringing up charges that I have no clue WHY. "What is this charge for? What is this charge for?" The staff member says hold on and goes over to ask for clarification. She comes back and the resulting charge is unclear to me. In fact I have unexpected charges including a "custom amount" of $3.00. Why? How can things be made right or "fixed" as the website states? Included is a snapshot of the menu and our receipt. We are not sure what happened here.

Alexis Q.

Yelp
Best bagels, great staff, and so clean. Delicious build your own sandwich or a simple bagel with cream cheese, they have so many unique options and spreads! Can't wait to come back

Sunny R.

Yelp
Used to be great. Staff can be very rude, and it doesn't taste good anymore. Never coming back. There is a better place a few blocks away anyway!

Yelp
Locals had been eagerly awaiting the reopening of this storefront for quite some time, so I have been trying to avoid the mass crowds ever since. However, with the pandemic now, I wanted to give them a shot and order pickup to avoid the crowds. Pickup was easy and efficient and everyone was super kind. I ordered online ahead of time and it was ready right when they said it'd be. I was craving a Lox and cream cheese bagel to prepare for a long day. 11.55$ seemed like a fair price, but just be mindful when you pile on the add-ons, surchages, etc...mine ended up being a $18 bagel sandwich, but I will say that it was 100% worth it and I'd do it again. You can't have a salmon cream cheese bagel without capers, tomatoes, and scallion. The sandwich was so good I had to save half of it for dinner. Bagel Pub, you're a bit pricy, but you're worth it, in my book, and Park Slope welcomes you.

Choochoo K.

Yelp
Their pick up service needs serious improvement. We waited over 30 minutes inside the store after the 9:07 pick up time they emailed.they told my husband it was a misprinted ticket - when I called they told me it was a bagel production delay. Really?
google avatar

Avanti J.

Yelp
I stop by Bagel Pub fairly often, and it remains one of my favorite bagel spots in the neighborhood. I got a pumpernickel everything bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese. To me, this was a perfect bagel - crunchy, fresh, chewy, topped with seasoning so good I could eat it out of a bowl. The cream cheese was flavorful and there were a lot of choices available. Service was quick and there are a lot of coffee options available as well. The artwork inside is also very funny and adds a lot of charm to the interior. Even if the line is long, it's run very efficiently and I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes have my order completed. Definitely check this place out for a true New York bagel.

Yelp
Always love Bagel Pub. I normally go to the location on Franklin but this was my first time at this one. It's smaller but it's also wayyyy less crowded (at least it was when I went on Thanksgiving morning so maybe not the best day to gage). I was beyond hungover, so hungover I didn't even think I could handle an everything bagel because even garlic and sesame seemed intimidating. So I got an egg bagel with scallion cream cheese and it slowly brought me back to life. Great quality and a nice stop to the other location of what is already my favorite bagel spot in Brooklyn.
