The 15 Best Restaurants In Wildwood 2024 - Jersey Shore - The Infatuation

"When you hear the name “Bagel Time Cafe,” you might just be expecting warm bagels and a place with smooth and creamy spreads that do to your tongue what ASMR videos do to your ears. But this spot right across from the Wildwood Convention Center also has a full breakfast menu filled with omelettes and egg sandwiches, and a lunch menu of sandwiches (get the chorizo frito burrito) and salads. Essentially, there’s plenty of range here for whatever you have in mind to start or continue on with your day." - regan stephens, candis mclean, sydney mcelwee

Bagel Time Cafe Review - Wildwood - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Sometimes finding extra things in unexpected spots can be the best surprise, like when my friend told me she gets her olive oil from Home Goods and Ross (what?). Similarly, when you hear the name “Bagel Time Cafe,” you might just be expecting warm bagels and a place with smooth and creamy spreads that do to your tongue what ASMR videos do to your ears. But this spot, right across from the Wildwood Convention Center, also has a full breakfast and lunch menu. From Belgian waffles and avocado toast to wild lunch items like their chorizo Frito burrito, there’s plenty of range here for whatever you have in mind to start your day." - Candis R. McLean

Google
Honestly the BEST bagel Ive eaten. I had it was an Asiago bagel with egg, cheese, bacon, hash brown and pork roll. 2 year old grandson had the 3 little patriots, 3 mini bagels with strawberry, blueberry and plain cream cheeses. He loved them.

Google
Sausage and cheese omelette was delicious. My kids loved their chocolate chip muffins. Cold brew was a little bitter, but Ok. Service was great. Although there was a long line, they served everybody very quickly, and the weight was not too long.

Google
I’ll start by saying we LOVE going out to breakfast every weekend we are down the shore. The bill came to almost $60 (with tip which he didn’t thank me for.) and we were so disappointed. The food was so bad the kids wouldn’t even eat some of it. I ordered 2 bagels well toasted with cream cheese, 3 pancakes, 2 orders of home fries and one kids meal with three mini bagels plus a large coffee. The pancakes were the only thing the kids ate. The home fries were foul, raw and mushy. (Paid $5 each), the mini bagels were burnt so the kids wouldn’t eat them ($10.50) and the everything bagels were barely toasted and the cream cheese was thicker then the bagel. ($6/each). I’ll never go back! I couldn’t bring the good back like I normally would have because we left the island. I’ve never been here and won’t go back.

Google
This is good for a order, wait and go breakfast. We walked in and had a short wait before ordering at the counter. We did eat in so we had food brought to our table. They have a free water pitcher but we didn't know so we paid for water. The juice was yummy and breakfast sandwiches average. I would come again because staff was friendly. Chairs not really meant for long visits. Bus your own table when done. Couldn't find a recycle bin or restrooms.

Google
I have ordered a meat sandwich off of this menu multiple times and received egg. Today I didn’t get an egg on my sandwich and asked why. She said I didn’t order egg. Online there is no option for egg and meat sandwich with no cheese. She told me if I wanted a meat and egg sandwich I need to order and egg and cheese sandwich but with no cheese. How am I supposed to know that? When in the past I’ve received egg? So I asked if I could get egg and she wanted to charge me. I said I didn’t know I needed to order it that way online and she was rude and told me I ordered wrong and all she could do for me is charge me for a side of eggs. Which is about another $3. What a rip off. I will not be coming back here.

Google
Delicious sausage egg and cheese bagels. Fast service especially with mobile ordering. Probably my favorite bagel spot in Wildwood NJ.

Google
Stopped by a bagel breakfast spot in Wildwood, and it was the perfect start to the day! The bagels were fresh, perfectly toasted, and packed with flavor. The place had a cozy, laid-back vibe, and the service was fast and friendly. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to enjoy your meal, this spot is a must-visit for breakfast and bagel lovers⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Colleen Jones

Google
Bagels are delicious. Regular cream cheese is A LOT (see photo). They have mini bagels which are perfect for kids! Fast service.

Yelp
This place has amazing food and the best service! My favorite place in wildwood to eat! I would definitely recommend the south beach fruit bowl or the bagel yard sandwich!

Yelp
Stopped by today but it's too early. I'm looking forward to trying this place when I come back.

Yelp
Overpriced "bagels" and always super busy. If you want to skip the line, you can order o line but there is a convenience fee. The staff does seem nice but the bagels aren't really bagels in my opinion: the texture is more like a role with a hole in it. I went here thinking I'd get a cheap and easy breakfast but 2 coffees, 2 breakfast sandwiches and a muffin was $45 and took 15 minutes in line to order and then another 20 minutes for the food to come out. Cut tables outside but the price to me wasn't worth it: my husband did enjoy his bagel sandwich but he's from cali so he doesn't know what a real bagel should taste like.

Yelp
If you're looking for breakfast or brunch in Wildwood, I would definitely try this place out! PARKING There is a small free parking lot next to Bagel Time Cafe, and by small I mean TINY. People park over the lines and have nasty things to say under their breath despite the fact others need to park and eat just as much as them! My friend managed to fit despite the fact people want to be rude. MENU So much to choose from! So many options. You can either order in person to go, order in person to sit down, or order online for pick up. They also make it VERY easy to pick up your order if you ordered it online. It was its own pick up window once inside the establishment! FOOD I had bought myself a spinach feta omelet & a water. I honestly should have gone for a bagel, especially a rainbow bagel. But they brought that out after I had already ordered and the line was insane! I had no idea that was even an option! Next time I'm definitely ordering online for pick up instead so I can really see the depth of their menu selection! With that being said, their omelet was a letdown! And I didn't touch the hashbrowns because I'm not a hashbrown person. It never sits well with me, no matter who makes them, I wish they had asked me if I wanted that or not. I would have opted for a different side if they had one. I did get toast with my omelet and that was burnt, but generally it was still delicious. I honestly wish I got one of their caffeinated drinks. I'm not a coffee drinker by nature at all, but I would have loved to try out something of theirs! I had gotten some gnarly sunburn the day before, so I just wanted water to hydrate. I don't come back to Wildwood often if ever, so I don't know when the next time I stop by would be. But I really do wish I had gotten a bagel instead. The reason I didn't was because I had one the day prior, from elsewhere, and I wasn't in the mood for another bagel. It was nice having other options on the menu besides bagels, but it doesn't seem like its their specialty. ATMOSPHERE This place is so cozy and has many seats! Most people are ordering to go, and there was a line to get in so I would suggest ordering online instead. But generally the line moves quickly. OVERALL Such a lovely place within Wildwood NJ! I definitely loved trying it out, and would love to come back to try out more if I'm in the area. Everything was so cute, so I definitely would like to come back and actually have a sit down.

Yelp
Love Bagel Time! The South Beach Bowl was amazing with great presentation ! The bacon egg & cheese and avocado toast were both excellent. We also enjoyed some iced coffees! It's a great family owned spots with two locations. The wildwood spot has great customer service and plenty of seating inside and out!

Yelp
Every time I visit Jersey I make it a point to get my pork roll fix in. I was sad that a salt bagel wasn't offered but had never had an egg everything and I wasn't disappointed. I loved how they made it with scrambled eggs. Very filling! We sat outside because we had our furry child with us. One of the employees brought out a bowl of water after seeing him which was adorably considerate. The coffee was fresh too!

Yelp
this is a terrible bagel shop. it's honestly embarrassing if you've ever been to any other bagel shop in NJ. These aren't the same. you can actually tell by looking at my photo, this doesn't look like a good bagel. it's a weirdly dense roll is what it is. also, there was a foreign object in my bagel, not sure what it was and neither was the staff. I asked them what it was and he said "I don't know... its definitely not supposed to be there.... do you want another bagel?" to which I said sure. don't know why I even said yes but yeah I'll never be back here. oh and also it was like 11am and we had to wait like 10 minutes for them to make coffee. they don't stay on top of the coffee area.

Yelp
WILDWOOD: one morning we were trying to find a place to eat breakfast and had a few restaurants in mind through prior research, but even though they were supposed to be open, they ended up being closed. As we were driving down Atlantic Ave., the sign of Bagel Time-Cafe caught our eye and we hoped for the best. Let us tell you, we found a gem of a place! It was meant to be! They have an adorable space that has a lot of seating for a bagel shop. Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed inside their cozy interior with fun decor and also outside on their patio with a pretty cool old Volkswagen Beetle for a great selfie spot. Breakfast and lunch items are available including freshly baked bagels, breakfast sandwiches, eggs, spreads, sides, and even vegan options including Just Egg and vegan cheese. Paired with a hot chai latte with plant-based milk = dream come true! They also offer catering and the staff is top notch! It was so delicious and hit the spot; a perfect meal and experience to start the day. They also have locations in Wildwood Crest and Cape May!

Yelp
Delicious New Jersey bagels. The cafe is so cute inside as well as their outside. Service is quick.
google avatar

Joseph L.

Yelp
I ordered a veggie omelet, lox on a bagel and two Iced coffee's and the bill was $47.00! Sorry but this is a rip off plain and simple. This should have cost no more than $35.00 max! I understand prices are high due to inflation but this was ridiculous! and the food was OK but not $47.00 good. I feel like I was bent over and it didn't feel good. won't be back here.

Yelp
Pros - indoor and outdoor seating - outdoor seating is beautiful - They have a DJ on the weekend. - the bagels are amazing. Not too bready and perfectly cooked and we love the bagel sandwiches. Egg, cheese, bacon. Delicious. - service was quick -Short walk off the boardwalk Cons: - Can be a long wait on the weekends - Iced coffee was watered down - Can be pricey, but totally worth it We loved it so much we went multiple days in a row!

Yelp
Exactly what we were looking for with out searching. We also had one hot coffee and one iced americano. They had all the fancy syrups half & half, sugar & whatever else you needed on a counter for your beverages. Really liked it here. Will go back. Love a good jersey bagel.
google avatar

Cindy M.

Yelp
I love a good bagel so I had to go back. The staff was really nice and the bagels tasty. Not a fan of the home fries (I like whole potatoes) but they had a good taste. Portion was huge. I'll be back
google avatar

Anahi M.

Yelp
Sigh. I had high hopes for this place. Stopped in for some bagel sandwiches, which were decent. But these are NOT bagels! The texture is not right. They are sort of flat, not chewy, and not crusty on the outside. They are just rolls with holes. Service was good and it looks like a nice place to sit. Two breakfast sandwiches were about $23 with tip. I guess that was the most NY thing about it.

Yelp
Three weeks in September and it's not easy finding a deli open in the middle of the week. Luckily, I found Bagel Time Café. I got an toasted everything bagel, scrambled eggs, cheese and bacon. Delicious. I hope they can stay open thru the Fall. If not, I will remember Next year so I can hit this place more often.
google avatar

Glenn S.

Yelp
These are your typical "rolls with holes" type bagels. They are soft and bread-like and lack the qualities a good bagel should have. I don't know what more to say as I only tried the bagels and it appeared most people waiting on a pretty long line for the off-season, were waiting on egg sandwiches. Overall, this is a one and done for me.
google avatar

Todd C.

Yelp
The prices were higher than I expected when I walked into BTC. The food was good but it was newrly $70 for kids pancakes, Cuban Sourdough Panini and a turkey club with drinks and fries. The panini was well cooked and there were ample fries for all three of us. You can probably get one order for a small group. The staff was nice and patient.
google avatar

Dave W.

Yelp
Happy to see that Bagel Time was still in operation! The place is small and offers outdoor seating. Our server, Angela? was efficient and our meals came out quickly and piping hot! I chose to go "healthy" and ordered a Spinach and Feta Omelet while Pat went for and Egg, Meat and Cheese sandwich. Coffee was hot and plentiful and prices reasonable for Wildwood. The café is behind a hotel, on the ground floor of a hotel. It is within walking distance of Convention Hall - but we chose to drive.
google avatar

Liz F.

Yelp
We stopped in Bagel Time a few times during our week in Wildwood. Was writhing walk in distance to our room which was a bonus! Breakfast and coffee was great!
google avatar

Chen Z.

Yelp
Was not impressed by the kimchi burger. It was basically frozen tenders with kimchi on a bun. Breakfast bagel was equally average

Stacey P.

Yelp
Bagels are really thick and dry. And be advised that the home fries are actually hashbrowns. We asked for the eggs to be over medium, and they didn't even flip them over. They were more like sunny side up. We ordered this to go so we did not know until we got home.
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
If you are craving a breakfast sandwich this is the place to go. I got a bacon, egg and cheese w/ a hash brown on a asiago bagel and my boyfriend got a pork roll, egg and cheese on a blueberry bagel with scallion cream cheese and both of the sandwiches were huge! We got a side of home fries as well. All of our food was very good. The place is cute inside, they have indoor and outdoor seating. I have only come here during off season so I never have trouble parking and there usually isn't a line. But during prime season I can imagine parking being a little tough. The employees have always been nice and I'll be sure to stop by again.
google avatar

Sandra W.

Yelp
My family and I come here multiple times a season and look forward to the tasty breakfast that is offered. Fresh orange juice, unique bagel and cream cheese flavors and combos, the south beach fruit bowl, omelets, pancakes and French toast. Their really is something for everyone.
google avatar

Mistia Z.

Yelp
Coffee is hot, bagels are good, but it is not the best coffee or the best bagels. I had the sesame bagel with scallion/bacon cream cheese. Kids had blueberry bagels with strawberry cream cheese. I appreciate the wide selection of different spreads, but wish they had whitefish salad. Service was fine. Tables were clean.
google avatar

Mark K.

Yelp
Massive bowl of fruit topped with Greek yogurt, granola and honey! Very good and healthy option for breakfast.

PJ P.

Yelp
if you are actually from New Jersey don't give them your money. Bagel was worse than dunkin donuts. Not a real bagel at all. Tastes like the shoprite bakery
google avatar

Suzanne M.

Yelp
Excellent clean perfect little bagel place. They have lots of flavors of bagels, different egg sandwiches or egg bowls, home fries, etc. the place is also eco-friendly. Definitely give it a shot. The line is out the door in the summertime.
google avatar

Karen P.

Yelp
Great sandwiches. Got the tuna and the Anna's and both were hearty well made and tasty sandwiches. Drinks a little on the pricey side. Avoid the lines by going before 8:30 am or after 1:00pm.
google avatar

Mark V.

Yelp
Truly amazing to find such a quality bagel shop right on the beach in Wildwood crest! Amazing pancakes too by the way! Well I wasn't planning on driving anywhere on vacation in Wildwood crest. I was going to have to make do with whatever was local and deal with it. What an amazing surprise to find a spot! The bagels are damn, damn good! Probably 4.5 stars. They scramble the eggs that go on your bagel and I love that. My toasted everything bagel with butter scrambled eggs and cheese salt Pepper catch up cotton half put me right in heaven and got me ready for a very active day hiking along the boardwalk, both day and night and swimming in the ocean! They don't advertise it at all as a matter fact, not even sure if they have it on their sign in their store, but they also serve pancakes and they are top notch! If you order these one day for a change you won't be disappointed. Inside the shop is really small but it's a very local kind of shop that I'm so glad was right next to my hotel! Highly Recommended when staying in Wildwood crest!

Linda S.

Yelp
Bagels were stale. There was no hot coffee. It was 10:30 am and there weren't any customers. Very disappointing. They were expensive too but that I expected.
google avatar

Ali W.

Yelp
I ran here in the morning with my dog and wasn't sure if I would be able to bring him inside to order quick. They were super friendly allowing me to bring him inside to order and had very quick service and a GREAT selection of bagels. They also had the cutest little outdoor space. Will definitely come back here!
google avatar

Joe B.

Yelp
Such good breakfast sandwiches. Every time we order it was delicious. Got to love fresh made bagels. And they deliver.
google avatar

Pamela W.

Yelp
Great breakfast spot! The South Beach Fruit Bowl is so good! This was our first time here. The atmosphere is so cute and the staff is friendly.

Ryan A.

Yelp
The bagels and the bagel sandwiches are not up to NJ standards. The bagels are dry and stale, and they weren't toasted enough to make up for it. The sandwich was extremely overpriced and underwhelming. Salt, pepper, ketchup was only available "on the side."

Kevin K.

Yelp
Very crowded at about 10am on a Tuesday. Had to wait in long line to order at counter and only had about 3 kinds of bagels left. But food came quickly to table and was delicious. I would say be prepared for a wait but worth it for the bagel sandwich's.

Riley N.

Yelp
The ambiance and service is good, but holy shit this is the worst bagel I think I've ever had. Coming from the outskirts of NY, these people have obviously never had a good bagel in their life.
google avatar

Ed D.

Yelp
The staff very friendly, great selection of cream cheeses and a variety of items on the menu for breakfast. The real issue is these bagels are not close to being a bagel rather a roll with seasoning added it will really be a disappointment if you are from New York or New Jersey
google avatar

Amanda B.

Yelp
Don't get me wrong, the food is good. But, they seemed to be understaffed. Took almost ten minutes for two bagels? The layout is inconvenient. Would recommend the bagels, so amazing, but it can get hectic in here!
google avatar

Mike G.

Yelp
This is a nice little cafe in Wildwood. They have a mix of indoor and outdoor dining which is nice because the seating does fill up quickly in the morning. It was quite busy when we showed up and always seemed to be a line. The staff works quickly to get your order out to you. We had bagels that were really good and a nice way to start a day at the beach.

Daniel T.

Yelp
The food was hot and fresh. The service was also very friendly. Bagel was fresh and cream cheese was delicious. The pork roll egg and cheese was dynamite. My son loved the pancakes. All in all a hit.
google avatar

Kristen B.

Yelp
This place was right near our rental and busy every morning. My family only got coffee, so three stars is more for the fact that there was a line out the door than the actual food. Everything smelled good, and my cappuccino was lovely.
google avatar

William P.

Yelp
It was kinda hot inside, but the patio was pleasant. Verrry pricey a cup of coffee and bottle of oj was 10 bucks alone, but bagel sandwiches were big (filling)... pork roll was not seared but ok. Bagels were a little dry but tasty.
google avatar

Blair F.

Yelp
Delicious! It was a great treat every morning of vacation. There's no good bagels south of the Mason Dixon!
google avatar

Nicola M.

Yelp
This place is super cute! I had a toasted onion bagel and plain cream cheese. I had ordered the scallion cream cheese but they rung in / brought out plain cream cheese. In the interest of time and not wasting food, I took it, but they didn't offer to fix it either. The onion bagel was light (I dislike doughy bagels) and had lots of onion on the outside. Great bagel to start my day!

Rev K.

Yelp
Nice place, good food, good atmosphere. Prepare to be bent over on the prices tho. $5 for a small iced coffee.
google avatar

Steven S.

Yelp
Ordered bagels and a few other items for delivery, great service. great bagels and prompt delivery.
google avatar

Ann A.

Yelp
We normally go to the bagel depot in NWW. Today we tried Bagel Time and we are new loyal customers. Their bagels are so fresh, soft and fluffy. They have rich flavor. Bagel Time offers a HUGE selection of both bagels and spreads in addition to sandwiches and specials. The "other bagel depot place" had bagels that were hard and stale and pales in comparison. If you like bagels, you have to try this spot. Quick and polite service. Clean restaurant. Eat inside or in their outside garden area, or take out. You will not be disappointed!!!
google avatar

Brianna P.

Yelp
Nothing special. The apple cinnamon walnut cream cheese was good, but the bagel didn't have much flavor
google avatar

Balaji R.

Yelp
A quaint and lovely places for breakfast and brunch. Fast service and great options!!
