"When you hear the name “Bagel Time Cafe,” you might just be expecting warm bagels and a place with smooth and creamy spreads that do to your tongue what ASMR videos do to your ears. But this spot right across from the Wildwood Convention Center also has a full breakfast menu filled with omelettes and egg sandwiches, and a lunch menu of sandwiches (get the chorizo frito burrito) and salads. Essentially, there’s plenty of range here for whatever you have in mind to start or continue on with your day." - regan stephens, candis mclean, sydney mcelwee

Bagel Time Cafe offers a charming ambiance with plenty of photo opportunities, featuring a flowered Volkswagen buggy(in the yard) and decorative walls. While the decor and atmosphere are inviting, the bagels themselves were a bit disappointing. They tended to be on the dry side, which detracted from an otherwise promising experience. Being from Jersey, I would say these are not your typical Jersey bagel. On the bright side, this cafe boasts an impressive array of cream cheese flavors, including enticing options like blueberry, strawberry, everything and more. I opted for the everything bagel cream cheese, and it proved to be a delightful choice, bursting with flavor and making the dry bagel much more tolerable to consume. For those craving heartier fare, the breakfast sandwich special was a highlight. Piled high with bacon, pork roll, hash brown, and cheese, it delivered a satisfying blend of savory goodness that made the bagel a bit more moist and therefore more satisfying. To wash it all down, Bagel Haven serves up quality beverages. The coffee was robust and well-brewed, while the fresh orange juice provided a refreshing start to the day. Overall, Bagel Time Cafe offers a pleasant dining experience with a few standout dishes amidst some room for improvement with their bagel texture.

My visit to Bag Time Cafe left me with mixed feelings. I opted for an egg bagel with everything bagel cream cheese, but was disappointed by the dry ratio of cream cheese to bagel. However, the special bagel with pork roll, eggs, and hashbrowns redeemed the experience with its delicious combination and satisfying flavors. Overall, while my meal wasn’t exceptional and lacked the ‘wow’ factor I expected from a bagel spot, it offered decent options and a pleasant enough dining experience

I ordered from DoorDash for breakfast for myself and my three family members. In ordering, I asked for specific requests because my children have food allergies. The ordered arrived and two of the four bagels were incorrect. I took a screen shot of my order and my husband went back to just ask them to replace to two incorrect. The owner “did not believe him” even with a SCREENSHOT OF MY EXACT ORDER. When my husband spoke with the young lady behind the counter, she was incredibly rude and mocked him for stating he was from PA. They ended up asking my husband to pay for two more bagels for my children even with explaining the allergies. Mind you, we weren't asking for anything crazy. A dry blueberry bagel and a plain bagel with butter. We bought them solely because we needed to feed our kiddos before we left but THAT IS IT. Spend your money on better bagels, better service and better human beings. Bagels were dry and seemed to be from the prior day anyway.

Place is clean. Ambiance is very chill. Food is amazing. My favorite is the avocado toast. My husband enjoyed his blueberry bagel very much. Only downside is, pits hard to look for parking around the area and if you do its a metered parking so make sure you have your quarters ready. Still, foodwise we recommend this place.

The place was clean, the staff was super helpful and nice but the food was way overpriced for how amazingly mediocre it was. Got (1) water, (2) breakfast sandwich bagels and (2) sides of what they call home fries but were clearly hash browns. Before tip it was $34. Their menus look awesome so I had some particularly high expectations. My everything bagel was on par with Manhattan Bagel which is disappointing, in my opinion. The home fries were unseasoned and bland with a small portion being crispy. Very underwhelming. Maybe they do other stuff better? At their price point, I’d rather take my chances elsewhere.

Indoor and outdoor seating available. Meticulously designed. Sufficient food portions. a little pricey but this is expected being 2 blocks from the boardwalk.

The entire staff from the owner, down to the young women making and handing out orders, is completely rude and full of themselves. They refuse to accept when mistakes were made on an order. I had to pay for replacement bagels for my lactose intolerant children. NEVER AGAIN! Not to mention they are $7 bagels, that are mediocre at best. Cool outdoor seating area though.

Bagel Time Cafe was just a few blocks walk from our motel. We went there on 7-27-22. Got there around 12:30pm and they weren’t crowded but were out of cinnamon raisin and sesame bagels. The clerk stated they are the first 2 kinds to go, so he recommended getting there in the am. They do have a variety of bagels and cream cheese. I loved it! I went with a blueberry bagel toasted with Oreo cream cheese and a plain bagel toasted with bacon, egg and cheese. Both were fantastic and I recommend 100%. They put plenty of spread on your bagel, so no need to ask for more if you like extra like I do! They also serve lunch and have other sandwiches and bowls to offer as well! Other menu items looked just as good. We are planing to go back before our vacation is over to try some. Please note they are only open from 7am to 2pm.
