Bagels On the Hudson

Bagels on the Hudson is THE WORST BAGEL SHOP you CAN ORDER DELIVERY FROM. They contract with Grubhub (THE WORST APP OF ALL) that charge abhorrent fees and hire anyone. If BAGELS ON THE HUDSON cares about customers, they’d just hire a good vetted employee. Not worth the exorbitant price nor the hassle of having to wait 1+ hours. You will reorder and fight with Grubhub to get your money back. The bagels are average at best, there are 5 bagel shops nearby that take pride in their craft and care more about quality. This is my 3rd consecutive time where my order had issues (either extremely long time or stolen). The instructions were to come inside and to our unit. The second I saw the receipt, I went outside and they weren’t there. Driver stole it and camera confirmed. Bagels in the Hudson is trash

Nothing but good things to say. Great coffee, friendly staff and great food. Very nice spot for an early morning visit to enjoy some nice weather. Will come here every time I am in NJ. Thanks y’all!

I’m not sure what the bad reviews were about. Maybe you’re all spoiled with great bagels down here. We’re from Rochester and in town for the weekend. Tried this place on a whim and everything was incredible. The breakfast sandwiches were huge. The bagel quality was unlike anything we could ever get back home. Will probably stop here on the way out of town. Can’t recommend enough

I got to order today for the first time and had it delivered through doordash. After seeing the reviews, I had to make sure i wrote one myself. They are hilarious. I travel for work, but always look forward to getting in this area for good food. I was not disappointed today. First, the prices are great. I got a bundle with whitefish, nova, bagels and cream cheese. Everything was delicious. The bagels are exactly how you want a bagel to be. A little crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and they are huge. As far as how management replies to the other reviews. I think it's perfect, you have to let's push back a little bit in this business. And if I went to a bagel shop on third shift, I would be a little disappointed if the staff weren't a little snarky. It's third shift for god's sake. lol. Thanks for a great meal.I will definitely order again and recommend.

When I say worse place ever, that's an understatement. This place deserves 0 stars . Asked for bacon egg n cheese on a roll , a 3 egg turkey bacon on a roll [got 1 egg] , and a egg roasted red pepper on a roll . Needless to say the lady emptied a bottle of spam on the grill. 0 drinks n paid 40 bucks for some half ass sandwiches, cheese all cold, egg shells in my eggs, just horrible. Customer service was horrible the place was empty and took forever to ask what I wanted. Do not recommend at all.

By far the best bagel I’ve ever had. The service was excellent, Doug was fantastic, the vibes were great, excellent music playing, cleanliness and the staff were EXCELLENT. The bagel and lox were so fresh. They make you feel like family when you’re there. Next time I’m in Hoboken, I’ll be sure to stop at this place.

I placed an order this morning through Grubhub but ended up receiving the wrong order. From what I can tell Bagels on the Hudson doesn't do their own deliveries, a GrubHub driver does. When the owner knew of the mixed-up order, he called me and let me know that he would be remaking my order and delivering it to me. This was very kind and was something that I really appreciated. I will continue to order from this establishment, thank you for taking care of your customers. Also, I like the customer service you provide. Don't respond to negative reviews, you're better than that.

Came here after the bar on a Saturday night at 12 AM and the place had a really long line and seemed to be packed. I waited for about 20 minutes, but was just extremely excited to receive my bagel which tasted really fresh. Despite the bad reviews, the lady working at the front didn't seem all that bad, especially considering all the drunk people that probably give her a hard time. For a 24 hour bagel spot - I'd say it's not bad.
