Where to Find the Best Bagels in Nashville - Eater Nashville

"Max Palmer and his wife Kayla began like several others around Nashville in January of 2020 — as a delivery-only bagel shop that started in their home kitchen in January of 2020. Fast forward 14 months to March of 2021, when they landed a permanent home in the Fairlane Hotel after popping up at farmers' markets and on the menus in a few local restaurants. On the menu here, you’ll find rotating flavors and schmears, bagel sandwiches, pretty pastries, and Stay Golden Coffee." - Delia Jo Ramsey

Stopped in this morning on the way to do a show at Music City Center in Nashville. It's a very neat little bagel shop. It has hand rolled bagels that are awesome. I haven't had a good bagel since I left Chicago until now. I had a fantastic onion bagel that was crunchy and chewy like it should be. A rich and thick cream cheese. If you want a good Jewish deli style bagel this is the place for you. I loved it!

I cannot recommend Bagelshop enough. I visit Nashville often and make it here at least once, usually multiple times during my stays. Their salt bagel is my absolute favorite. They offer bagels with cream cheese as well as breakfast and sandwich bagels. They even offer vegan cream cheese. Not only that, but they make a terrific latte as well. All good food aside, the staff deserves 5+ stars. They are welcoming, attentive, happy and kind. They really like their jobs. I look forward to my stops at Bagelshop every time because I know I'll leave with a great bagel and coffee, but also with a smile on my face from their service.

As I sit here writing this review, I’m not even hungry and my mouth started to water as I thought of my bagel from this place. We were visiting Nashville and staying a few blocks away. I decided to get up early and run over…best decision I made in a while. The sauces were very flavorful, bagel was that classic chewy and fresh. Eggs and cheese tasted fresh and were cooked perfectly. Staff was very friendly! I love the restaurant mid century vibe since it’s attached to a cool hotel. I might have to drive back down to Nashville for this place.

The food was delicious here. There’s definitely a line you have to wait through to order and then wait again for your food to be ready. They ran out of the popular flavored bagels so there were only two options left by 9:45am which was disappointing. The bagel sandwich is big and the egg hash was definitely filling.

Delicious food and everyone was super friendly! I ordered the bacon grilled cheese on an onion bagel and it was perfect! The bagel was super fresh and there was a good amount of bacon.

Friendly staff. Ordered the lox bagel and it was warm and delicious. Ordered the French Toast with berries and whipped cream. It was stone cold. Disappointing. We sat down and the food was served in to go containers in an extra large shopping bag. Weird. Would not return as there are many other breakfast places around.

I ordered The Benny and it was good but the highlight of the show is the coffee here! Locally roasted espresso exclusively made for this location! I had the caramel latte :) If you’re in the area, it’s a great place to stop for brunch.

This was the most delicious bagel I’ve had in years! The topping ratios were perfect, with a generous slab of cream cheese - what more could a girl want!? Cute mid-century fit out and really beautiful staff. I had the New Yorker and everything everything bagel - the capers are a MUST. X
