Baglioni Masseria Muzza Resort & Spa

The resort is a hidden gem just a short distance from the city of Otronto. We stayed in one of those deluxe suites and it was very spacious with our own private patio. The staff were all amazing, attentive and courteous. The resort had a van that would take you to dinner, the beach , winery etc.,Just request and they were there! The reception desk staff weee excellent always willing to book a reservation and help us with any questions. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We just got back from a memorable time at the Baglioni Masseria Muzza. Everything about our stay reached and exceeded our expectations. The service was impeccable, all of the staff were so friendly, welcoming and attentive and went above and beyond to help with whatever requests we had. From the restaurant and bar teams to the concierges in reception and everyone in between, they were all so lovely and were a crucial part in making our trip so perfect. The location was amazing, with great views of the Puglian countryside and incredible sunsets. The hotel itself was designed really nicely, with a stylish and minimalist rustic look which felt comfortable and luxurious without being flashy and tacky, with the grand, Roman bath style pool which provided a gorgeous centrepiece to it all. Our room was large, spacious and tastefully decorated with all the amenities you’d expect and more. Add to all this, the amazing food throughout the day and the opulent and relaxing spa, along with having a great kids club as an added bonus. They even had a free shuttle service which took guests to and from the beach and nearest town, a lovely added touch :) yes, it’s expensive particularly in the food and drink department, but this is to be expected and I got the feeling that it was all worth it for what we got in return. So thank you again team Baglioni for such a wonderful stay, we hope to be back one day again soon!

My friend and I stayed here in mid July. We were there 5 days and 4 nights. I selected this hotel because of the ratings; however, based on our stay I would say the service was absolutely exemplary but the hotel itself was not. |Pros|Beautiful property |Excellent service |Beautiful room|Shuttles to coco bay beach and to the town of Otranto |Breakfast at the restaurant was lovely ||Cons|About an hour from Brindisi airport |Unless you rent a car or hire a driver you are pretty much stuck at the hotel. |Housekeeping was not really cleaning the room. Tidying yes cleaning no. If they would’ve, they would have realized that my friend’s shower was clogged. Because I called about bugs I felt bad calling about the drain in the room. Room had bugs. I had to call on 3 different occasions bc of the bugs. |The lights in the rooms had bugs in them. |The pool was littered with twigs/branches. |I wanted to love this hotel but after considering how much we spent for a two bedrooom two bath suite those things should have been a non issue. I really loved and appreciated the staff and felt guilty for even voicing my concerns but if the hotel really wants to be a 5 star hotel and justify its prices then they need to pay attention to every detail, every nuance big or small, everything. I would like to visit again because of the staff and GM but not until they address and correct the issues they have.

We loved the way they kept the authentic farm style masseria across the property. The sunset was spectacular around the pool and restaurants in the evening. We had two spacious deluxe suites, one with 2 stories and the other across one huge ground floor. They were styled like authentic farm workers lodges with the designer touches. The service was outstanding, and every single staff member helped with a smile. We loved our daily escapes to the amazing cliffs and beaches just down the road. Thank you.

The personalized service we received was second to none , I’d like to make a special mention of Ivana who was available and accommodating of any request we had. We truly wanted for nothing. The resort was quiet and relaxing, as well as absolutely beautiful! We also took a cooking class on the property that was so fun ! We rented bikes and checked out Otranto. Overall it was just amazing !! Highly recommend!

This is a gem of a location if you got few days in Otranto Apulia. Why: 1. the included steam room and dry sauna and spa pool is phenomenal as is the exercise room - for a reasonable fee - add a massage 2. Their restaurant for dinner is phenomenal real authentic food - do not skip on it 3. they support transport to Otranto restaurants - its so appreciated. 4. The bar tenders make phenomenal drinks - negroni was exceptional. 5. The smiles and affection left an impression me! Prab Gill

The trip was extremely enjoyable. In particular the housing and service was excellent. I enjoyed the sunset cocktails and the terrace at the sunset bar. Guiseppe and the front office team as well as the housekeeping were noteworthy. Big shout out to Mauro snd the GM Victor!
