Google
Service was the best we experienced in Amalfi coast. Seafood pastas we had were rich and delicious. Ricotta filled ravioli was fresh and had lovely taste. Prices are overall higher than in some other places in already expensive Sorrento.

Google
Beautiful place with over-the-top fresh and delicious food. If you love eating seafood overlooking and literally sitting on the ocean... this is the pla ice for you. Nestled down the "cliffside" along the beach, Delfino has some of the freshest seafood I've had! We enjoyed the octopus and fresh fish entrees. Great appetizers and desserts. Our waiter delivered the cook full fish and then de-boned for us. Fresh, flakey, melt in your mouth. Great place everyone should try. We were lucky to be able to walk to Delfinos from our hotel.

Google
For our last lunch in Sorrento we wanted something on the water and this did the trick. Wonderful setting and views. Service was good throughout, efficient and respectful. Food was tasty and fresh. Ravioli was particularly delicious. Incredible bread, too. We each had a 1/2 bottle of wine from the extensive wine list (although no mentioned glasses of wine).

Google
Lunch at Bagni Delphino was absolutely amazing. Really nice cool patio just over the water. Amazing authentic food. Great test and quality. Highly recommend. Doesn’t get better than this!

Google
Absolutely gorgeous restaurant with the most incredible views of Mount Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples, fresh seafood, and an insane wine list. I had the scialatielli, which was excellent. The service was attentive and fast. My party of three happened to all order the same wine by the glass and our waitress kindly pointed out that a bottle of the same would cost less, which it indeed did. The honesty was appreciated, as was the extra wine! The bathrooms here are also beautiful: very updated and clean. We went on a Wednesday night and did not have a reservation, but were seated immediately.

Google
The setting for this restaurant is absolutely stunning. We ordered Scialatielli pasta with mussels & clams but several of them were full of sand which very much took away from the experience. The salad and calamari were fine but overall we found this place to be overpriced for what we got.

Google
Great to be back after all those years. The food is still absolutely delicious, the people the best and most friendly in Sorrento and a view on the bay of Naples as beautiful as you will ever see.

Ryan Phillips

Google
A gem on the water! Almost every table is perched on the edge overlooking the water, and while typically it's an either or of good view or good food, this place truly does both. Delicious pasta and dessert, and the waitress was above and beyond for service! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Christa W.

Yelp
We, my friend Irma from Hannover, Germany and I from Chicago, went from the 1982 for many, many years to this Restaurant. We always enjoyed the hospitality, friendliness and delicious food. What beautiful memories. In the meantime is the Delfino Restaurant No. 1 in Sorrento. Always, continued success! Christa Wirtz

Yelp
Stunning ambience with scenic outdoor seating. We started with calamari which was fresh and delicious but portions were considerably small. For our main courses my husband had the grilled sea bass which was filleted table side and was absolutely delicious! I had sea bass with Roma tomatoes, black rice and mashed potatoes. The tomatoes were overpowering the delicate fish, the black rice was lukewarm sand the potatoes were just ok. I also had the chocolate caprese cake with almonds and a side of icecream which was delicious! Service was courteous and efficient. Overall, I would go back but would order something different.

Yelp
Great food and service, very romantic location during sunset. Not cheap, but worth money spent. Portions just right size.

Yelp
Beautiful seafood on the water and kind service. Really enjoyed the gamberetti sala (suck the sweet heads), the scialatta scoglio with seafood, and the delizia limone for dessert. The caprese was a miss with anemic tomatoes and the uni spaghetti didn't have much uni flavor. The wine list is extensive and I recommend asking for a local well priced rose. Be aware that the hike down to the Marina Grande (and back up) would be challenging for some, and requires decent footwear.

Yelp
Visiting for our 2nd time while in Sorennto. The food, service and atmosphere is 2nd to none. They embrace you at the door, during your meal and as you depart. What a wonderful experience. Can't go to Sorennto without visiting this restaurant. Delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was delicious . Service was good but not outstanding as we had expected, not as attentive as we expected. The atmosphere was the best. So romantic right on the water . A bit away from the other places .

Yelp
Honest review of Bagni Delfino: Way overpriced for what turned out to be very average food. Service was painfully slow--we waited nearly 30 minutes just to get drinks. We chose this spot to celebrate a family birthday, expecting a standout experience. Instead, we left disappointed. Having dined across the Amalfi Coast--from Positano to Capri to Sorrento--this was easily our least favorite meal. The seafood pasta, bolognese, risotto, and sea bass were all forgettable. Only the ravioli was worth finishing. Bagni Delfino may be popular, but its high prices don't match the quality. For a better experience, I'd recommend Porta Marina Seafood or other nearby gems instead.

Yelp
The views from the restaurant were incredible. The food was pretty good but you're mainly paying for the view and service

Sydney ..

Yelp
This was recommended by a worker at our hotel and it was the best place in Sorrento where we ate, maybe even in Italy. They provided free bruschetta which was outstanding, the tomatoes were so fresh. We got the seafood pasta and the sea bass and they were so delicious. Best seafood pasta and seafood dishes we've had, it was all so fresh. The lemon dessert was incredible. Definitely recommend and might even go again while we are here.

Yelp
This is a Yelp! Recommended restaurant on the waterfront of Sorrento. And it did not disappoint. A romantic setting, exquisite service and delicious food. And for the quality of the experience, reasonably priced. My frutti del mare was superb. Lightly sauced pasta covered with shrimp, clams and muscles. You L probably need a taxi to find it, but it's worth the trip.

Edward K.

Yelp
My family stayed in Sorrento during our recent Italian vacation. Pretty much everyone recommended Bagni Delfino. They were all absolutely correct. It was my wife and I's wedding anniversary, while going out to dinner with our teen daughters isn't the most romantic, the vibe at Delfino made up for it. Open to the Mediterranean Sea, our table was outstanding! Gorgeous views of the sea, Vesuvius, and the surrounding area. The wait staff was knowledgeable and professional. Most importantly, the food is outstanding! Elegantly arranged Caprese salad was full of flavor. Freshly made pasta with loads of shellfish was sublime. The mixed seafood platter was an array of perfectly cooked local seafood. Bagni Delfino was one of the top restaurants we ate at in Italy!
google avatar

Yelp
We are lunch here on our first full day in Sorrento which happened to be the only day it rained. We were able to sit by a window looking out onto the water and enjoyed the beautiful view. Food was amazing! I had the seafood risotto and my husband had the scialatielli pasta with seafood. The fried calamari we started with was also very tasty. I found this place based on google searches for best restaurants in Sorrento, and locals also recommended the place along with the others in Marina Grande. The prices here were not cheap, but worth the trip. We came in for lunch right when they opened and were able to seat us with no reservations.

Yelp
This is an overpriced and overhyped place with average tourist food and ridiculous prices. So many better places to go

Yelp
On the waterfront in beautiful downtown Sorrento the restaurant is absolutely perfect beautiful and calming with great views and great food. We had a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne we shared the seafood salad appetizer I ordered the lobster pasta and my wife ordered the Jumbo grilled prawns. Everything was delicious. A super restaurant in the best place. Highly recommend it. Would easily return and we just might.
google avatar

Ann C.

Yelp
My pasta dish was awful. Pasta was thick and pasty. Sauce was so salty I couldn't eat. Capresse salad was too salty and tomatoes bland. So disappointed
google avatar

George S.

Yelp
We had a wonderful dinner at Bagni Delfino on our recent trip to Italy. Located right on a pier in the Bay of Napoli you couldn't ask for a more beautiful view. The food was delicious all of us had some type of seafood and the wine list was very extensive. As you would imagine the service was fantastic. A little pricey but we'll worth it.
google avatar

Samantha R.

Yelp
Some of the best cuisine we had in Italy. The service, the views, the food were all impeccable.
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
This restaurant is actually jutting slightly over The water. The view is beautiful!! Picture included. The service is top notch. There is a 20 page wine list along with a nice variety of options on the food menu. We started with the carpaccio pulpo. Thinly sliced octopus. Picture included. It was like nothing we'd ever had. The octopus with greens, fruits, thinly sliced almonds. My wife had the filet of sea bass with tomato and garlic sauce and I had the grilled sea bass that they filet table side. We don't really order dolce so nothing to report on that front. Highly recommend!
google avatar

M L.

Yelp
Well....so good we went there twice. Food was outstanding...only surpassed by the service! Amazing location which normally would rate #1, but the food and service were so good that the get top billing! Place can get busy, obviously for a reason, so I would recommend reservations.
google avatar

Yelp
We love this place. We came here in 2016 for our honeymoon and had to bring our whole Italian family from the US to try it! Still just as amazing 7 years later! Thank you

Patti R.

Yelp
With all of the restaurants in Sorrento, you will never find one more welcoming or with better food. One of the best menus and the freshest fish and seafood. The bonus is the amazing service at Bagni Delfino and personal attention, making sure they have fulfilled your needs. We have visited Sorrento many times over the years and never fail to visit this wonderful restaurant. This is one you don't want to miss!
google avatar

Yelp
Four stars for a great view and pretty good food! We had a fantastic view of the sunset and Mt. Vesuvius. Service: they brought a glass of champagne when we sat, and it was nice to enjoy while we watched the sunset and looked through the huge menu! The food is pretty decently priced and they have a lot of offerings. Food: the food was fairly average to me. I ordered the caviar pasta and it didn't blow me away. It's one of the more expensive pastas you can get, so I was a bit surprised that it was a pretty one dimensional tasting dish. The caprese was super fresh and tasty- I've said in other posts.. you just can't wrong with fresh tomatoes and mozzarella here! I wish they would have some bug spray or light candles fending off mosquitos. I got some pretty big bug bites since it's out over the water... Overall it's with it for the view!
google avatar

Savannah H.

Yelp
The best seafood we had in Italy! I called to make a same day reservation and luckily they had an opening for us late in the evening. We didn't mind a late dinner and we're excited to get a table! The wine list is extensive and the staff was helpful in making a selection. The food was PHENOMENAL, do not skip this restaurant when in Sorrento.
google avatar

Sam S.

Yelp
The seafood was the best we have had on our Italy trip so far. I had the octopus with pasta that was a special and was so amazing. The service was good. The view was probably my favorite part it was sun set at the time and it was so beautiful with the volcano in the background.

Yelp
Sorrento gem everyone should know about!! Phenomenal spot in Sorrento! The staff is amazing, so happy , kind and generous! Family run and the food is unparalleled- the freshest seafood! It was tough to grab reservations however we were lucky enough to be able to dine here twice during our visit to Sorrento! Filippo, his sister and his cousins were so incredibly gracious, amazing service and very attentive. Made us feel at home and we truly our dinner experience here! The location is great - right on the water! The staff js ever so kind and happily calls a taxi for you as you are finishinf up your meal and notifies you when the taxis has arrived! Such a nice accommodation they provide that removes the stress of finding your way home. Now the food speaks for itself!! The freshest food available in Sorrento. My husband and I are extremely picky with our seafood and truly recognize high quality when we see it! Every single dish we ordered was delicious. We enjoyed our dinner so much we tried relentlessly to get another reservation and we were so grateful when we were able to! The mussels and clams in garlic and parsley were to die for! Huge portion and extremely fresh. Something to note here was that both times we ordered this dish there were no mussels or clams that were closed. This was so important to us because it showed the quality of the food! Secondly the fresh fish was another highlight. Deboned table side topped with olive oil and garlic! We recommend asking for their chili oil - homemade and the perfect kick to dish! Honestly I can go on and on about this place however the most important thing to note is that the food and staff are amazing! 10/10 would recommend!

Yelp
Excellent service and food. Our VRBO was just around the corner and it came highly recommended. We didn't have a reservation and it was late in the season (end of Oct) and they were very accommodating. We don't speak Italian but we used our translation ap and were able to get by with the friendly staff. The grilled sea bass and the sea bass au gratin were delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
This was one of our favorite restaurants on our trip to the Almafi Coast. It's a family owned restaurant right on the beach in Sorrento. The service is outstanding! We did not have a reservation, but they took us right away. Every seat in the house is a beautiful view of the coast and water. The staff was especially friendly and I could tell they were family. You almost felt like you were eating in someone's Italian kitchen. We started with the caprese salad, then the seafood platter which was so fresh and ended with the ravioli with ricotta. Traditional Italian food that feels like home. Highly recommend!

Justjn B.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious, I ordered seafood and wanted more after finishing. Service was good and friendly. Ambience is nice and is on the waterfront, so customers will get a nice ocean view. Can't wait to go back :)
google avatar

Charlie J.

Yelp
The people were extremely kind. The food was extraordinarly scrumptious. The ravioli alla caprese was to die for. Right on the sea as well.

D M.

Yelp
The food was outstanding. For better service make an early or late reservation. Our reservation was at 8:30 in the midst of the busiest time. We were seated just beyond one of the service/ bar areas so while we had a nice view we felt in the middle of all the action. Of course this allows a view of all their amazing dishes and desserts. We enjoyed Bagni Delfino and definitely recommend.
google avatar

H David K.

Yelp
Outstanding and fresh seafood - as you would expect. We had a beautiful table overlooking the water. The staff was attentive and relaxed. The wine list is impressive!
google avatar

Victoria S.

Yelp
My husband found this place, and let me tell you, this is a perfect meal with a perfect ambiance. I got the best Sea bass delivered to my table, where the waiter promptly deboned it and served it on a platter. It was such a hot day, but the breeze from the ocean was perfect!!!!! If you can't get in for dinner, go for lunch!

Baharan K.

Yelp
Absolutely perfect. Direct view of ocean, and you can hear the waves since the walls are just a sliding window. Best salmon tartar I've ever had. Generous portions too, which isn't always the case at nicer restaurants. Attentive service.

Marco C.

Yelp
The absolute best dinner my wife and I had on our honeymoon! A beautiful view and the service was top notch. The seafood was to die for. We can't wait to come back just to come here again!
google avatar

Nino P.

Yelp
First tip make the reservation now. Where do I begin, the views from the restaurant were captivating. Then you meet the staff. And one was better than the other. Now for the most important part. The food. For starters we tried the mussels, fried calamari and the GRILLED OCTOPUS. All were extremely fresh and well cooked. The octopus was like butter. Main courses we tried the gnocchi sorrentina which is gnocchi with a tomato sauce and melted cheese. So simple but so good. Then we had the risotto Delfino. Which is a seafood risotto and it was magnificent. Great portions and great service. They also have an extensive wine list. A must if in Sorrento
google avatar

Nicole L.

Yelp
Definitely take advantage of the sunset views over the water! I have to say I didn't love my eggplant parm (tasted like there might be some smoked mozzarella mixed in), and I'd get the Sorrento caprese ravioli if I went back as a vegetarian. My husband enjoyed his citrus tuna tartare & seabass tomato dish. The show stoppers though were dessert. The Tiramisu & lemon delizia cake (lemon soaked sponge filled and topped with lemon cream) were maybe the most amazing desserts we've EVER had!
google avatar

Sheri B.

Yelp
Excellent and the highlight of our dining experience in sorrento. We started with the tuna tartare then shared the seafood risotto and seafood grill. It was all delicious. The server also had an excellent wine recommendation
google avatar

Jenai Z.

Yelp
We were really looking forward to our dinner at Bagni Delfino. We ordered octopus carpaccio, caprese salad, gnocchi and pasta fruitti de mare. The dishes were bland. In addition, the interior of the restaurant was not anything special (we had a 9pm reservation so couldn't see much of the water view). The desert were really good thus the 2 star review. My bf and I regretted not going to another spot along the pier that had a better vibe. Overall, if you have a late booking, I'd reconsider booking somewhere else that is outdoors and have good quality food for less the $$.
google avatar

Jim F.

Yelp
Best restaurant in Sorrento! We were here a week and ate in so many places, but this was the best food, ambiance and service. We had seafood risotto and the pasta with marinara and shrimp. Both were delicious. Chocolate covered whipped cream filled pasties for dessert. They were all great. Lots of seafood in the main dishes. The bruschetta and garlic bread that were free were also fantastic and they gave us free limoncello drinks with dessert.
google avatar

Deane S.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food. Especially the seafood, fresh and perfectly prepared. Service was excellent. Selection was a broad. They have an excellent wine list with offerings that will pair with anything you select from the menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow, fantastic place for dinner. Super friendly staff, great 1/2 bottle selection - went for the Castel Giocondo Brunello 2012, great pasta selection and meats. Sat on the covered deck and watched the sun set while sipping sparkling wine starters provided by the restaurant. We then tucked into the clam pasta and meat sauce ravioli. Both were so tasty. We also had the steak and grilled branzino. The medium steak was juicy and so tasty. He branzino was really fresh and cooked just right dressed with lemon and olive oil. Yum. We then opted for the lemon cake and the gelato both of which were spectacular. They then provided complimentary limoncello to finish. Now this is not a budget friendly place but well worth it for a special dinner. In the future, I would ask that they bring the pasta first followed by the meats. Everything showed up at once which was a little overwhelming. Overall, highly recommend this place!
google avatar

jarett p.

Yelp
Amazing! Beautiful view and fantastic food. Went on a recommendation. Had the risotto Delfino and the gnocchi. Everything was perfect. Pro tip: make a reservation here a few days in advance. More openings for 730/8pm as Sorrento restaurants usually get packed by 9pm. This is a must if you're in Sorrento

Susan C.

Yelp
Outstanding fresh fish and ambience on the water. Staff was also incredible and gave great menu suggestions. Nice sunsets too, here in Sorrento!

Zav D.

Yelp
Phenomenal setting; terrific service and tasty food are just a few of the reasons I suggest you don't miss this restaurant! We loved it!!

Yelp
This restaurant was amazing and all the waiters were extremely personable they gave me limoncello shots for free and extra oysters. Their names were Roberto, Giuseppe,Andrea e Christian.

Yelp
A gorgeous, uninterrupted view of a sunset on the Mediterranean Sea. Music playing in the distance. The sound of waves gently splashing and seagulls squarking. Great service. Friendly staff. Great food. I would not hesitate to come back. The bread was perfect. Perfect texture. Perfect flavor. Made even more perfect with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I could not refrain from nearly emptying the entire (generous) basket all by myself. As a starter, I ordered tuna tartar. I could have eaten another order of it. So delicious! Sea Bass was also perfect. So fresh. Very flavorful. Cooked perfectly. The best fish I ate all week. Possibly the best meal that I ate while on vacation in Italy. Between the food and the scenery, the entire night felt magical. To note: Rather difficult to find. A lot of poorly lit alleys and stairs but once you begin the descent down to the marina grande, you will spot the restaurante immediately. If you love the local specialty, you'll appreciate the complimentary limoncello served at the end of the meal. Can be rather cool once the sun has set. I'd have preferred to have had a sweater.

Yelp
Two weeks in the Campaina Region of Italy and one thing I've come to appreciate is how different the way restaurants here get the food they serve. Back home much of the food we eat isn't local but imported and shipped to us. But everything from the olive oil to the wine, the tomatoes and all other produce and seafood is from Sorrento. Delfino takes all those ingredients to provide the best meal of my trip. And while I tried many dishes the two that are a must are the Fruitti di Mare and Risotto Delfino. Here's a list of what I ordered: Mixed Salad: this is a nice amount mixed lettuce with tomato and shredded carrot. Along with the local olive oil and vino which provides a tangy bite which is very tasty. Spaghetti Bolognese: portion size is pretty good. They don't drown it in ragu like back home, and I won't lie, I like mine drown in gravy but I enjoyed the Bolognese nonetheless. Mixed Fried seafood: a combo of fried shrimp, sardines, and calamari. Huge portions of fried seafood, so if thats what you're in the mood for, this dish will hit the spot. Grilled Swordfish: this is a large slice of Swordfish served grilled like a steak. Risotto Delfino: this was the most memorable entree of my two weeks in Italy. Just an amazing risotto with all sorts of little treasures of seafood. Squid, Clams, Mussels, and Shrimp. The generous amounts of seafood and just the flavor together make for a great entree. It's like a seafood paella but better. Fruitti di Mare: this dish is comparable with the risotto. Just a simple light tomato based sauce with a large amount of shellfish and pasta. Service is very friendly. Expect a little bit of a wait because food is prepared fresh. The views from Delfino are amazing as part of the dining room reaches out into the Mediterranean sea. Afterward Delfino even provides chairs for sunbathing, changing rooms, and a shower for those who wish to lay out or swim with the fishes.

Yelp
The food!!! The service! The view!!!! The spaghetti with clams was amazing The linguine with shrimps marinara was amazing The bruschetta was amazing We will be back.

Yelp
We were in Sorrento for three nights. EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. we spent it here. We were immediately greeted like family. Given so much love. The food was incredibly tasty and fresh. You come here for the seafood and not a disappointment. The location cannot be beaten. Right on the dock and while you are eating you can hear/see the clear blue waters hitting right beneath you! An experience to be had in Sorrento!
