Although this place opened in 2022 we never managed to get there until yesterday and we are glad we finally made it there. The outside of the building sets the mood for a tropical experience. Inside the ceiling Is high with tropical fans and plants. The service was excellent and quick. And the food was absolutely delicious. Without a doubt we will be returning.

Me and my friends recently visited Bahama Breeze, and we had such an amazing time! Everything we ordered—from the drinks to the main dishes—was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. We started with the Bahama Rita, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced. For appetizers, we had the Beef Empanada it was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. For the mains, we tried the Grilled Salmon, Lobster and Shrimp Linguine, and the Jerk Chicken pasta, Every dish was cooked to perfection. The grilled salmon was tender and juicy, the linguine was rich and creamy with generous portions of seafood, and the jerk chicken had that perfect Caribbean kick we were hoping for. The service was friendly, the ambiance was laid-back and fun, and the food? Just outstanding. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great vibes and even better food. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Google
I was so amazed the size of the Mahi fish in the taco… I had two tacos and a salad but didn’t take a picture of meal at the start, but this is a pic of the taco I took home!! So delicious!! And affordable! 12$ Most fish tacos I have ordered have only a few bites of fish… Pleasantly surprised! Great meal…Vivian was super server! Great atmosphere. The music was NOT too loud either.( like other places) I will return!

Google

It was so amazing with a great taste of flavor. The drinks guava cosmo, margaritas and tropical freeze. So good The service so Awesome, Gabriel was so amazing so attentive !!! Even the manager stop by to ask how things were. Being our first time it blew us away. We will return!!!

3rd day in Charleston, finally we find a good restaurant. Thanks to the couple from Spartanburg we met on Folly Beach. Bahama Breeze felt like a breeze after 2 crappy, expensive restaurants. Even though our waiter was working in another section, he saw us waiting and took our table. We tried the Rita flight and the coconut mojito. The beef empanadas were delicious 😋 My daughter got the chicken pineapple bowl, I had the stuffed plantain bowl. Both came out while still hot and full of flavor. Also tried the chocolate floating cloud. If we were staying longer we would definitely return to try more drinks and great food!

Bahama breeze is always a delight! This location is always polite and on point. The food and drinks never disappoint at this location! Everything here is always a great vibe. Try the beef empanadas, simply put BANGING!!! Come visit you won't be disappointed.

Google
The drinks were so delicious, and the jerk chicken pasta was so good , had to ask for extra sauce and parmesan but it. Was perfectly seasoned . Also tried the crab dip I would have rather had pita chips or something other than tortillas but it was still super delicious to me friendly staff clean .Go try it for yourself

Yelp
Stopped in tonight. Started with the conch fritters, and I liked them, though they weren't crispy like I expected them to be? I had the Island Snapper for my main, and I actually liked it a lot. It was one of the lower calorie options on the menu, but it had a lot of flavor, was not greasy, and was cooked well. Most of the items on the menu involve mango, salsa, pineapple, lime, or avocado, if you don't like those flavors, this is likely not the right pick for you! The drink menu seemed to have lots of beach-themed booze on the menu; I don't drink so I didn't pay close attention, but it looked like a fun menu for those who do. I felt the price was fair for what I got, which was a well-made seafood dish that had some fresh flavor. I wish my meal came with a vegetable side, though, rather than a bit of avocado and the salsa on the fish & rice. Atmosphere was casual. My server, Emily, was training a new server, Emily, and both were friendly and personable and did a good job. This is definitely a nice restaurant in the Rivers Avenue/Ashley Phosphate area and it's near my house, and I can see myself returning. J.Ja

Yelp
We came in to have a nice lunch. Sat at the bar because they say service is quicker. We have been there before and so we already knew what we wanted to eat and so we wanted to just order right away. The bartender took our order and then for 30 minutes. Bartender snubbed us. He never even came by to check so we walked out. There were three other couples there and they all received their food within 15 minutes and we never got ours. So we walked out. We did leave money for the two drinks. The bartender had some type of attitude, service wasn't good in fact there was none.

Yelp
This was a surprisingly good spot to stop for lunch. I've never heard of it, but I'm always up for a good beach vibe restaurant. We sat outside and the patio had a heater to ward off the chill. Antoine was our server. He was prompt, friendly and helpful showing us how to use the table side machine -- it had games for kids and you could order or pay. The drinks were fast and very tasty. The crab dip was hot and really good! We will definitely be back for lunch/happy hour.

Yelp
We stopped to get a quick bite before checking into our hotel and we didn't want to drive around too much after 7 hours on I95. So me and the Mrs kept it simple before we delve into the French quarter cuisine the next couple of days so she ordered the Filet Mignon and yuca and I ordered the jerk chicken with mushrooms pasta. Our server was on point getting the drinks started immediately shortly after our order went in the manager came around to ensure all was well( impressive )Now the evening and weather was beautiful so outdoor dining with the sound of island music filling the atmosphere pleasantly. My pasta was perfectly cooked and seasoned well safe but delicious choice, my wife's asparagus, yuca and filet which was supposed to be medium but it was more well than anything but overall for what it was the entire meal was good.

Yelp
Went to Bahama breeze with my two grandkids for lunch. We were greeted immediately by a very friendly staff and sat us at a booth. I love booths! About 5 minutes later our server came to the table and took our order. The grandkids love playing with the table top game system and took turns while we waited on our food. My granddaughter got the bowtie pasta. My grandson got the hamburger sliders, both from the kids menu. I ordered the coconut shrimp platter. Everything came out hot and fresh and very tasty. We'll be back!

Yelp
Finally had a layover in Charleston so you know I had to come back to Bahama Breeze! I ordered the honey butter crispy chicken sandwich again and also a Bahama Mama for the drink. Got there when it was still lunch so I was able to get my meal for the lunch price. Waited a little bit and got the drink during happy hour. Once again, the sandwich was delicious!! Think I need to try other items but this sandwich is just too good. I could definitely tell there was alcohol in the drink cause WOW!! Got through about half of it before I couldn't drink anymore cause boy was I feeling it. Haha!! It was my birthday the next day and the person I was with decided to surprise me with the chocolate dessert. My goodness was it SO FREAKIN GOOD!!! The mousse part was so light with so much flavor....YUM!!!!! Also have to add that our server was one of the nicest humans I've ever met. She took great care of us and we all made sure to leave a nice tip. Can't wait to go back!!

Yelp
Bahama Breeze ambience is cute with a Caribbean flair. It has a fully stocked bar offering Caribbean style adult beverages. The food is good and the portion will not leave you hungry. The seating area is very open which leads to the restaurant being very loud between the music and people talking. The service is good and the staff is friendly. I had a new waitress and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. They do offer out door seating on a covered porch. Prices are comparable to other local restaurants. I would recommend this restaurant. They do offer a nice variety of adult beverages during happy hour.

Yelp
Excellent experience. This restaurant provides that tropical feeling with the decor and fancy drinks. There is a large list of drinks to choose from. We went for lunch, and I ordered the coconut shrimp tacos and they were sooo good. The service was attentive which added to the positive experience. I can't wait to go back again. Highly recommended.

Yelp
I love Bahama Beeeze but it's been a few years since I've visited one so while in Charleston for the holidays I decided to try the Northwoods location. Everything was as I remembered! The decor is full of color and the food was very flavorful!! My party of 5 was seated immediately, service was very good and our food came out super fast! The Jamaican Curry Pork Chops were excellent and they nailed it with their sweet tea! They earned all 5 stars from me! I highly recommend you visit!

Yelp
After a long day of driving, we were glad to find something that was open late close to were we were staying. The service was good as our server was attentive, friendly and checked on us often. Our drinks and food were okay, the only thiI stopped by to take some new things to try to my friend and these were a hit! I got the red velvet donut and the ube and chocolate puffs. The store is clean and they have a large selection of flavors that rotate weekly. It is a nice add to the area. ng that stood up were the skillet simmered jerk shrimp and dipping the bread in the juice, delish! The crab dip was lacking flavor and the chips definitely not fresh. The beef empanadas had a different flavor as it tasted more like curry. It was not a bad choice but it could had been better.

Abby Q.

Yelp
Reece was an absolute pleasure! She was an awesome server and the food and drinks were amazing! Definitely coming back even though I live 30 minutes away- I'd honestly recommend their burgers as simple as they are. It's amazing..

Yelp
Great atmosphere, friendly staff. We sat outside which is great. We ordered an appetizer of Beef empanadas which came with a pineapple chutney. The empanadas were great, chutney not so much. Main dish, I got lobster and shrimp linguine and my wife got salad with chicken. Salad was very good chicken super tender and good flavor. Linguine was ok, I mean it wasn't bad, it was ok. Service was good, no complaints. We would go back, it does have a nice atmosphere. I am a big fan of the Bahamas.

Yelp
The restaurant is very colorful from the outside and lots of parking. It was a little crowded, but we were seated pretty quickly. Our server was amazing. She made us feel welcomed and not rushed. I had the beef empanadas and sriracha fried shrimp. I also had the sunrise sangria. Every thing was amazing. The portion sizes were nice and full. The food was seasoned well. I will definitely return.

Yelp
I am delighted to say that every time I'm in North Charleston I end up here because of consistent good service, friendly staff and great food. This brand takes chain restaurant dining to a new level. The bright Caribbean theme comes thru in food, beverages and servers.

Yelp
The host was welcoming, the environment was a theme of Carnival, but not sure how it was the interpretation. The food was served in a timely manner. The taste of the Chicken Tostones was really good, likewise the Baby-back Ribs. The skirt stake Churrasco was tender but not as flavorful as it would have been expected. The service staff was courteous and professional.

Yelp
My 500th review. I was in North Charleston for a business trip and my wife decided to come along (I love when she does that). Unfortunately, there wasn't much to choose between. We walked into a Mod Pizza and promptly walked out after seeing what that place was about. We started to go to an Olive Garden but then we saw another Italian place nearby and as we were getting ready to walk in, a wonderful smell of grilled meats was coming from the other side of the parking lot so we did what Toucan Sam does and just followed our nose. I'm glad we did because we found Bahama Breeze. It was around 8:00 PM so it wasn't too busy and got seated right away. The servers were quick, efficient and friendly. My wife got a Bahama Mama for a cocktail which she said was delicious. I was too wiped out from work that day to have a drink so just soda for me. The Jerk Shrimp Pasta I ordered was delicious. I just wish there was a little more. My wife's steak and mashed potatoes were fantastic too. I would certainly come back.

Yelp
What better way to celebrate national margarita day than going to Bahama Breeze for $2.22 margaritas? The margs are strong and plentiful. The yucca cheese sticks are delicious. And the jerk shrimp pineapple bowl was packed with shrimp, pineapple, and rice. The environment is lively and lit up. I recommend to make reservations if you plan on going for national margarita day as this place gets packed, but it's well worth it! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
We stopped in for happy hour and enjoy ourselves. The customer service particularly our server was extremely friendly, outgoing and attentive. The appetizers like the skillet jerk shrimp with ciabatta bread on the side was full of flavor and reminded of a shrimp scampi in a way but with bolder flavor. We tried the jerk wings which were good but not much to share. I would return to try additional menu items.

Yelp
My husband and I went for dinner May 29 2025 had a wonderful waitress Tamara. She was such a great waitress and friendly a true asset to your establishment. The food was delicious and my pain killer drink was soo good. Thank you Tamara we will definitely be back.

Yelp
The hubby and I were looking for somewhere for a quick date night and Bahama Breeze seemed like a good choice. We did not have to wait long for our table. We were sat near the bar and quickly ordered drinks and the Banging Shrimp app. The drinks were good and the Shrimp was awesome! However, after a sip of my husband's drink I started to feel my lips tingling and my face started to burn. I have a strawberry allergy and we checked the menu again to see if we had somehow missed that there was strawberry in his drink. There was nothing listed on the menu for his drink that contained strawberries. My lips continued to tingle and my face was burning and hot. There had to be some kind of cross contamination as the bar does offer quite a few drinks with strawberries. I would be very careful ordering from the bar if you have an allergy! I am still giving three stars because all of our food was delicious. I took most of my food home because I was just ready to go as my face was on fire! Our waitress did not seem happy to be there and didn't come by very often. We quickly paid and left so that I could take some allergy medicine.

Yelp
The manager here is TERRIBLE (on the other hand I loved our server Brittany) My group & I came here for their Happy Hour (keep this in mind). We arrived around 5:30 just in time for Happy Hour. Every thing was great until my coworker discovered a piece of hair in her drink. We told our server who then brought out the manager. The manager arrives (already irritated by her facial expression) and once we told her the issue, she responded with "well that's not my hair" very snarky to which I responded "well it isn't our either". After this exchange, she only offers to remake the drink. Not take it off our tab completely. Fine. My coworker opts for this opinion-- a remade drink. They brought out another drink but by this time Happy Hour was over. Can you believe that they charged my coworker for the FULL drink price. So if you want to be treated rudely with a side of hair in your order, this Bahama Breeze location is perfect. This was my first time ever at a Bahama Breeze and I will not be returning unfortunately.

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this Bahama Breeze place. Every time I pass by it, I am intrigued by the way the outside of the restaurant looks. The inside did not disappoint. It has a very cool carribean themed atmosphere. There are big beach chairs sitting outside of the lobby. There are big fans with pretty blades spinning slowly near the ceiling. It was definitely a cool environment. I ordered top sirloin and coconut shrimp. The food was amazing. The helping of steak was plentiful. I could not eat it all. I gave almost half of it to my boyfriend. I got the chocolate island for dessert. It's chocolate mousse on top of a brownie. The mousse was really good but the brownie could have been better. It tasted like a cheap store bought Little Debbie brownie, or something of the sort. Overall, I really liked this place. The decor was cool. It was nice to look at! The food was delicious. They seemed to have a wide variety of foods that I would be willing to eat. I'm a picky eater. The server was very friendly. I would definitely come back here! You should try it out!

Yelp
Great drinks. Had good conversations sitting at the bar and watching the football games. Service was good and quick. Tried the beef empanadas. The outside crust was very tasty. The inside was like beef stew. It wasn't what I expected. Most likely won't order it again. The Margarita flight was tasty. I believe the Classic Margarita, Dragonfruit Margarita, & Pineapple Coconut Margarita are all pre-made. The Dragonfruit & Classic were the best. In the past, I've had the Jerk Chicken Pasta, which is seasoned well and has good flavors. The crab & cheese dip is good something I'd buy again. The Seafood Paella was also a good choice. Plenty of seafood, even minus the shrimp.

Yelp
Amazing food! Love the jerk chicken pasta and the habanero wings. Not a big fan of the Cuban sandwich. I'd recommend a nice cold virgin Pina colada though!
google avatar

Yelp
This experience was a let down. Food was awful, drinks were awful and service was awful. Our server was a lady with green contacts in and she was very unpleasant. Sent drink back just for another that tasted just as horrible. Didn't even eat food.

Yelp
Beef empanadas 5/5 Coconut mojito 4/5.....could use a bit more rum. Lobster & shrimp linguine 3/5...lacks flavor. The service was quick and friendly. The waiter was talkative, but he gave great recommendations. The restaurant had a nice Caribbean feel to it. Love the decor!

Yelp
We had a great lunch at the bar today! Joey took good care of our special needs. Loved the conch fritters, coconut shrimp and fries!!!! Yumm

Yelp
Family friendly :) a great experience for a tropical vibe and margaritas. Start is very friendly and are helpful. The food is great as always and have larger portions. Will come back again :)

Yelp
I loved it. The food is great and the service is amazing. It does get a little crowded, so be prepared for that.

Yelp
Great food excellent service and the prices were reasonable. We had lunch there and it wasn't too crowded and the food came on time and we all loved it.

Yelp
Oh this place is so fun! The ambiance is very lively and the staff were super nice. We were a party of 6 (originally 9 but things happen) but they had our table ready before the time of the reservation which was great! The food was honestly very good. I ordered a chicken sandwich with a side of fries and the portion size was pretty big! I also ordered a Virgin ultimate pina colada and woah it was delicious (picture not included). If you love fun drinks, I highly recommend this place. Their menu for drinks is crazy huge. They even have a drink that Bruno Mars helped customize!! The manager was walking around asking us and other tables if we needed anything else which I thought was so nice! You don't see that everyday! Overall, great experience especially for large parties. Very accommodating!

Yelp
The three of us decided to let Bahama Breeze be our new place to try this month. We try one new place every month. Two out of three of us were extremely disappointed with it. Pro's- Great Atmosphere-, loved the decorations and the outdoor seating. The firepit was a nice surprise although we didn't get to sit outside. Not a long wait to be seated. Cons- Poor Service. Our drinks sat empty for over 30 minutes. She said she was coming back but never did. She wasn't very friendly either. It's as though we were a bother to her because we came to eat. They were really busy but I've never been made to feel that a waitress didn't like me until I ate here. She wasn't very talkative to us but she did show us how to look on the ipad thing for photos of the food. She really tried to sell us the alcohol but we don't drink the hard stuff. Even after I told her that she kept pushing it. The food just wasn't that great. My son literally did not eat his sides and did not want to take them home. He said they were just nasty. He didn't like the texture of the potatoes but the flavor was okay, he didn't like the flavor of the greenbeans.. or lack thereof. He did somewhat like his Salmon but the sides were left untouched after one bite. My food was okay but could have used a little more flavor or something to give it some kick, . I ended up giving my son one of my fish tacos so he wouldn't go hungry. I only had two . He said my tacos were a little bland as well. My husband liked his jerk chicken pasta. Son and I tasted it and both agreed it tasted like regular chicken. I don't know what made it jerk chicken. It was just plain chicken pasta which he enjoyed but the other two of us agreed was just okay. We all agreed the service was bad. We had to ask for silverware after our food was delivered and it took them five additional minutes while our food was getting cold before we got the utensils. The appetizers were pretty good. The shrimp especially. I didn't get a photo of the shrimp. We also ordered a to go burger for our son who didn't come with us. He never commented to me how he liked it. They brought it out to us after we had paid for our check as though we were eating it in house. We told them it was to go. They wrapped it up and then forgot our 4 dollar soda to go with it.. which we didn't realize until we were halfway home. The price with a 20 dollar tip for the four meals, two appetizers, three sodas and two beers.. $135. I would have left her more had she been on her game but she was kind of rude and did not check on us enough. She was also super slow at coming back with things we asked for. But As it was, I don't believe in not leaving a decent tip. As always, I will adjust this review when we eat here again if it gives us a better impression. We will give it a second chance because there is so much on the menu to try and the appetizers were good. I prefer to leave 5 star reviews but lately have been getting a lot of 3 star eateries. Next time we'll try it at the lunch hour though.

Kurt C.

Yelp
Gave 4 stars only because the burgers we ordered came with NO condiments on them, so we had to pull everything off just to put some mayo, mustard and ketchup on the buns. What you should try is the "Conch fritters" ...it's advertised with "mango Salsa topping" didn't appeal much to me, but turned out to be totally fantastic, I even spooned out the mango toppings

Yelp
Disappointing experience at Bahama Breeze tonight. We arrived at 7:20 for our 7;30 reservation. The host checked us in and said they would let us know when the table was ready. They got us in quickly, even before 7:30. Upon seating, the girl who took us to our table said that we could go ahead and order apps on the computer and then order drinks from the server. We immediately ordered 2 appetizers. The server came about 5 mins later and took our drink orders. The appetizers came out in a decent amount of time and were good-coconut shrimp, guacamole and chips. Both were very good. We put in our entree orders before the apps came, and the entrees took forever. Our server apologized and we understood as they were busy; however, our food was cold. Cold mahi, cold fries. I let the server know, and she offered to have it remade for us, but I said no as we didn't want to wait another 45 minutes. I really like Bahama breeze and was so looking forward to trying this location, but they need to step up their game. Speed up the service, check quality of food and make the experience good as it should be.

Yelp
One of my favorite "Feel Like A Island-Beach Vibe!Happy Charleston has one now! Our Bartender Raush was on point! My wings, beef empanadas, conch fritters, and fries we're good. I tried a new Island Exotic cocktail and I left everyone take a sip and of course my glass was almost empty because it was so good! Come and enjoy the Island Vibes!
google avatar

Kandace S.

Yelp
Bahama breeze was very good! They were packed so we had to sit at the bar. The bartender was amazing and made our drinks with extra 'love'! The food was pretty good and the portions are huge. We wanted to sit outside but it was packed.

Yelp
Avoided this place for a year for no real reason. Now I've been here 3 times since. Perfect food. Perfect service and ambiance. Have not had a bad experience yet. I don't like chains but I love this place. Try the snapper!!! Margaritas are consistent and delicious. Enjoy !

Yelp
Had a gift card for this establishment and decided to go for the 2nd time and use it. The place was nice and very quaint and I have to say the food I ordered, as pictured was fantastic! Mahi tacos and seafood chowder! Way better than the first time I went back when they first opened. As for the service, I have to say our server, Ryan (female) had way more on her mind than waiting on us. I guess because my husband wasn't at the table she thought I wasn't ready to order. However, I was ready to order for both of us! When she finally took our order I was starving, needless to say. As the restaurant started to fill up, it seemed they were seated all around us! Seriously, space out people!! One couple, she continued to cough, unbelievable! And then another two women were seated behind me and smelled to high heaven! God only knows why people go out sick and smelling!! By the time food starts coming out they were bringing food to the table that came out 5 minutes later than us! WTH! Next thing I know ours was right there. Probably the last time for this place! Peace out!!

Yelp
Our first time here...and we were impressed!! Bahama Breeze in the Northwoods Mall parking lot...all that's missing is a view of the ocean!! Our server Joe was fabulous!!! He is a mixologist and created a delicious drink for me!! Think mojito/kamikaze mixed together!! Hubs got his usual sweet/unsweetened tea with 3-4 lemons...Joe brought 5...Appetizers were beef empanadas and hubs got firecracker shrimp..both were YUMMY!! For lunch I got grilled chicken over mashed potatoes...hubs got the blackened mahi tacos! Yum!!! All in all, it was a great visit and we will be back!!

Ta-Chana M.

Yelp
Not my first time here. The service and ambiance is always really good. I got the beef empanadas for an appetizer, the King Carnival cocktail and the Jerk Chicken Pineapple Bowl. I've had the empanadas before and they were great per usual. The King Carnival was really tasty. I'd never had the pineapple bowl before so I thought I'd try that out. There's nothing Jerk about this at all. The chicken looks colorless and baked if anything or cooked in the sauce packet they use in the pan. Very light in color and they used chicken tenders I believe because it was full of cartilage. The rice was just ok, a little mushy. The sauce that they used must come in powdered form and they added water or something because it was very grainy and tasted like powder. It wasn't good at all and was just sweet, not jerk. After about 5 bites, I asked for the check and a small Togo box for my empanadas.

Yelp
They do a good job for what they are - tropical themed drinks and Caribbean influenced food. The jerk chicken pasta did have great flavor, and was enough for two or three meals. My friend enjoyed her coconut shrimp and was happy she ordered it. We all had Bahama momma drinks, which is the main reason we went here anyway. Done well

Yelp
Bahama Breeze really surprised me! I rarely frequent chain restaurants if possible but wanted to give it a try after a friend recommended it. We came with four kids in tow and it was the best experience. They have little computers with games to keep the kiddos occupied and a kids menu. All of them loved the chicken fingers, fries, macaroni and cheese and ice cream for dessert. The service was really great and our server took excellent care of us all. The inside is decorated very fun and island vibes all around. The restrooms are clean and spacious and even include my personal favorite- seat liners! I had the salmon and it was good. I probably won't come running back alone but for kids and lunch it is fantastic!

Yelp
Finally got to make my first visit here. The wait was almost an hour, but let me say, it was totally worth it! Our waitress Jordan was genuinely the best I've experienced all year. Her service was what I expect at a 5 star restaurant. Attentive without interrupting, never let a glass run dry, made personal recommendations off menu, and had the best attitude. If the food was terrible, I'd go back for drinks just to have her wait on the table. Fortunately the food isn't terrible at all. I tried the new pineapple chicken bowl, which was surprisingly served in a cut pineapple! Very good amount of sweet and savory and was a good addition. I also tried the empanadas, yucca cheese sticks, and jerk shrimp appetizers - all very good. For sauces, the pineapple chutney is hands down the best.

Yelp
Fun vibe, great menu with plenty of options and great service. It's one of our favorite lunch spots as the food and the deals are beyond fantastic! One of the girls I work with says the drinks are amazing (and they even do a sampler)! I can't wait for the next lunch outing!

Yelp
First time at this location but we have visited other locations in our travels. We were very pleased with our dinners. I had the coconut shrimp and my husband ordered the jerk chicken pasta. Both meals were excellent. I was surprised at how many shrimp I had. The sides, red rice and broccoli (cooked perfectly) were good too. My husband's meal was not overly spicy as some jerk chicken can be. Our server, Ryan, was pleasant and attentive to our needs. Also our meals arrived quickly...a good thing, my husband doesn't like too long a wait. We have traveled extensively in the Caribbean and the decor made us feel like we were relaxing on an island far from North Charleston. We will return.

Yelp
I truly hate leaving bad reviews but this last experience really takes the cake when it comes to shit experiences. To start, our server was acting super weird. I don't want to say she seemed drugged out but she didn't seem like she was not drugged out. She kept saying the same thing but in different ways. For example, when asking my wife about the different portions of pasta she said the light portion was smaller than the regular whole portions so then when my wife said she would have to regular portion and the server acted confused and then asked, "so you want the whole portion?" Then, when the food runner Josh brought out our food, he just goes to put it in front of my wife and she tells him it was my entree. The runner then exclaims, "WOW" and sets it down in front of me. Him saying that confused me because I had no idea what it was in reference to. He went back to the kitchen and brings out my wife's entree. Now let me set the scene so anyone can understand how much of an asshole this guy was being. Sitting at the table was my wife and myself and I already had my entree. Josh the runner comes up and just stands there with some stupid look on his face holding my wife's entree and asks, "who's food is this?" When I said it was my wife's entree he then set it in front of her and said, "okay just wanted to make sure so she didn't yell at me again." Nobody was yelling! If anyone knows my wife, you know she doesn't say shit! Hell she barely talked to me. We were both completely baffled by his remark that we both just sat there for a sec. I personally have never had anyone so rude to me or my wife ever before and am still kinda taken back by the lack of customer service. There is absolutely no place for people like Josh in hospitality and if Bahama Breeze doesn't do some clean up, it'll be people like Josh who will cost the business.
