Bahama Breeze

I love the happy hour!! Food had great portions and love it as well! The Firecracker shrimp was a bit salty and jerk wings are dry but I love the empanadas, Conch critters and especially the tuna stack! Will definitely be coming back for this. We were seated at the side part of the restaurant and it was too dark to eat. Would not want to be seated there again.

Has a very unique menu compared to other restaurants. My favorite is the Cuban sandwich. Our table also got the Jamaican jerk chicken which is also very good. Also had the pineapple chicken bowl which was unique and good. I love their seafood chowder also. Empanadas were great for an appetizer

I will start this by saying I am not a big Caribbean food fan. But looked at the menu, I saw a few things that I liked. Besides the normal stuff, they have pastas and burgers. I ordered the artichoke and spinach dip and a salad with ginger dressing since I was saving room for dessert. I wasn't impressed at all with neither. I think I got peanut dressing instead of ginger. The dip was thinner and well below my average. The pineapple pound cake that comes with rum sauce and to have 2 servings of rum sauce to light and burn with made it too much rum for my taste. Others with me enjoyed their choices but they also noticed the below average service. Probably will not be back.

Nice amount of menu items. Just enough for the experience. What we had was very tasty. The chicken sandwich was in the dry side though. Definitely an experience if ya want to step into another environment.

Well, the thought of some late day Caribbean food sounded amazing. I entered and the atmosphere seemed cool. However, once I sat down it all went downhill. Waitress wasn’t rude, but wasn’t thorough. Despite my dislike of the food, she couldn’t care to comp or remake anything.The jerk shrimp Alfredo was not seasoned. The chicken rice and beans was sorry too. Beans had zero flavor. My drink was way too sweet. Only thing good was the seafood paella (got it w/ no chorizo). But for $120, very dissatisfied. Takeout would have been a better meal and half the price.

Went here with my daughter and it was an awesome stop. Walked in no wait and server was on point immediately. Had the coconut shrimp appetizer and it was wonderful. We got tacos because it was Tuesday. She got the shrimp and I got the mahi and both sets of tacos were great. Food was great and service was awesome. Definitely recommend a trip here. Fun place and great food.

From out of town. Looking for somewhere to eat that we don't have in our hometown. Decided on Bahama Breeze. Nice place, close to our hotel. Was seated quickly. Attentive waitress, good food that came out fast. Was very happy with our experience. Will definitely eat here again!

Bahama breeze is fun for the atmosphere. The crab dip appetizer was good. The plantain appetizer didn’t have a lot of flavor. That was a huge portion size. The drinks were nice but expensive.

We were by the "bonfire" so cozy and cute, island music playing....it made me feel like I was in the islands Cody was our server...very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Food was great too!

The food is typically hit or miss, but I will say the desserts are superb! Service has never been an issue at this location and they have lots of seating. Love the interior decor and how accommodations are provided for specific seating locations. I will surely give this place another try in the future and hope to be treated to a better experience.

I will start this by saying I am not a big fan of Caribbean food but saw they had burgers and pasta on the menu I set a dinner for the dining group. I wished that I had stayed with my plan for a burger because the spinach and artichoke dip was on the thinner side and not even near my average. The side salad with ginger dressing must have came with peanut dressing since it was too spicy. The pineapple pound cake that I was saving room for had to have the rum sauce put on again for it to light and ended up too rummy. The coconut shrimp I got to try was the best I have had. My table mates did like their choices. The service was slow and not around to check on us enough. The place did have a happy feel and the music wasn't too loud. Plenty of parking. I don't think I will come back.

I went there for the second time this month. Great place to eat before going to the movies theater in the same parking lot. This time I ordered their new dinner menu item which was a wonderful beef tenderloin and four pieces of coconut shrimp. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Asparagus and thick cut French fries were served as side dishes. Our waitress was extremely nice and made sure we got out in time for the movie. The manager came over to check on our meal, which we raved about. We sat in a nice both near other couples out on a Friday night.

This Bahama breeze location in Schaumburg is now closed. I will truly miss it. The food was great and atmosphere was wonderful.

Been coming here for yearsss! Food is pretty good. Flavorful. Drinks ok not enough liquor in them. Wings were good. Service is always amazing! This location is always clean and beautifully decorated.

Having been here once before, there's a natural expectation of things. What we didn't expect was a broken air conditioner when it was 93° outside. A few colleagues and I came in for dinner last night. A few of us ate here before so we kind of knew what to expect. Our server was very friendly. She made some recommendations for appetizers and entrées. We took her recommendation on the appetizer and went with the Firecracker shrimp. We were forewarned that this is a spicy/hot dish. Yes it is. It' came pretty quickly (about five minutes). yes indeed it was spicy. They give you a generous portion so if you get the large one, figure 4 or more people would have plenty each to share. Two of us went with the fish tacos. Both got it blackened, and both liked the meal. I went with the grilled salmon. The salmon was OK, not fishy, but not super tasteful either. Don't know what they put on top of it, but that didn't help. The side dishes included, steamed broccoli and.rice. You don't get much broccoli, but it was good. You get plenty of rice and that was OK. One of their specialties is the margarita. We tried that. It was one called the dragon and it was pretty sweet tasting.

Came for the bar to get appetizers and drinks, ordered spinach and artichoke dip ( not very good). I did not eat the appetizer, the drinks were good. I wasn't too sure about the receipts being in/on drinks but maybe that's normal . The waiter was very nice/attentive and the scenery inside is beautiful giving island vibes.

We arrived around 3pm on a Friday. Once we got seated, it took 14 minutes for someone to come over. The lady who came in behind us sat at the bar and had her drinks and food before we even ordered. The bartender was also our server ( we were not seated in the bar), and while there were ten ish patrons in the entire restaurant, we got very little service. I ordered the jerk Mahi, which tasted very good, but it was the smallest piece of Mahi I've ever had in a restaurant. As much as we typically like Bahama Breeze, the SE michigan locations do not hit the mark and we will only visit the southern states locations.

Pretty good, although it's not a Jamaican inspired restaurant like it gives off, it's more like a CUBAN RESTAURANT! Which I love, haven't had authentic Caribbean-CUBAN FOOD since I left Miami! The steak was delicious, the sweet plantains, beans and rice are definitely CUBANO not RASTA tho....which is why it's called "churasco" that's sooooo CUBAN! They must've given me a half order tho.... I'm a petite woman and that itty bitty serving of food wasn't even enough to fill my stomach smh My hubby got the Jamaican Jerk chicken and he didn't like it because it wasn't really jerk chicken from a grill, he says it was "jerk seasoning" from a stove top lol I liked the mango dressing on top of the conch fritters but didn't taste anything but breading from that appetizer....still good tho And the key like pie was horrible on top, delicious on the bottom lol I don't know what kinda "foam" they used as cream but it was awful, just a big fluff of unfrozen marshmallow possibly, the rest was pretty edible tho I will be returning for more of that steak and I think I saw yuca on the menu which I also used to LOVE from going to those Cuban restaurants in Miami so that I'll have to try next time ! I would suggest they remove those screens from being able to order or just Be careful letting your kid play with the little screen thingy they give you to look through the menu with at the table, my 1yr old kid accidentally ordered appetizers we had to send back cause we had no idea you can actually order from that screen since we had a sever that was taking our order???

Service was very good. The tequila sunburn salmon was excellent. The mashed sweet potatoes had great flavor. I would get this again.

This was an excellent meal starting with a great drink. Dani, my waitress was outstanding being attentive but not overly. The ambiance is wonderful with the outdoor seating was perfect for the wonderful weather evening.

Good Food . Kamil our bartender it's great, friendly and on point. Ambience it's loud in a good way.

The service was incredible - it was my first time here, and I came for my friend's birthday. The waitress came to check on us multiple times, and was very kind. I was honestly surprised, considering the restaurant was so so busy - that just made the quick service feel even better. The food was great, and the portion sizes were good enough for me and my husband to split our pasta. We ate the Jerk Shrimp Pasta and it was so good! The restaurant was very nice and I would definitely come back as a birthday spot or just get drinks with friends!

Yummy food! It makes you feel like you are at a tropical oasis. The decoration is perfect if you love tropical oasises. I got the Jerk Shrimp Pasta. They let you ask for no jerk on it! Yes, the food did take awhile, but I think it makes the restaurant seem popular with good quality food.

Bad service!! And our waitress just had an attitude the whole time.People without reservations that came in like hours after us got seated before we did and we were there before them And My food had pickles, ketchup, mayo on it, and I did not ask for that I would suggest Don't come here if you wanna be disappointed

Went to have a pre-mother day dinner with my friends. Our food was cold. We sent it back and they took almost an hour to remake it. The restaurant was not busy at all. Our waitress was sweet. She stated multiple times that's she did not understand what was taking our meals so long and her service was good. Use to love this place, not worth it anymore.

My husband and I went here for date night on 8/16/25 Upon arriving we were seated. I had to tell the hostess more than a few times the booth we wanted she kept walking the other way. Then we sat down and was "greeted' or should I say lack there of by server named Kayla.Her dry personality with a mixture of immediate attitude as if she didn't want to be there.The service was poor quality.We told her the drinks we wanted and how we wanted them made accordingly to our liking she wasn't understanding and was a bit argumentative.We let that slide and proceeded to try to enjoy ourselves.My shrimp and lobster pasta tasted fishy,my husbands broccoli wasn't even cooked and looked like it was straight out the grocery store.Our drinks weren't made the way we asked but we kept them anyways.The so called manager was going to "certain tables" to see how their food was,but rushed by our table as if she knew they luck horribly.Our bill was over 100 bucks for mediocre drinks and nasty food. We will not be returning to this establishment. The bathroom was dirty too. They can at least hire waitress with class and personality since their prices are so high. We don't need cheap service with high end prices. Do better Bahama breeze!!!

I took my best friend here this past Friday for her birthday dinner. It was my first time here and it will not be my last. I had no idea this place existed but I am so glad we tried it. Emmett was our waitress and she was fantastic. They were pretty busy and she was super attentive and sweet. She got our order in fast and everything came out quickly. EVERYTHING we ordered was delicious. I ordered the coconut pineapple mojito. I could drink 10 of them. We ordered the empanadas for an appetizer. The salsa that comes with those...chefs kiss. We both ordered the plantain bowl I believe. We devoured them. We ended with the pineapple butter cake. I was so stuffed by the end I had to unbutton my pants. I just found out there is another location in Troy that is much closer to me and I am so excited. I can't wait to go back. 100/10 would recommend.

Good time celebrating my grand daughter's birthday! 3 tables of family and great service! Food was hot and fresh! Drinks were so good! Nice music on deck porch !

Bartenders very nice, I ordered the chicken pineapple rice bowl , the chicken was horrible each piece had grizzle in it. Vmcould not eat it. Now I did tell the bartender and the manager they both said they dint use good chicken and I should of order shrimp. No one told me that before I order? That would have been nice, a little heads up! They did not take it off my bill either!

Another great meal here last evening. We were seated promptly, and the place looks great. They've been at this location for years now, and we're always pleased to see such a well maintained and clean establishment. Our server, I believe it was Emma (she said she's new) was super efficient and extremely pleasant. What a wonderful ambassador for Bahama Breeze. We had the spinach artichoke dip, then mahi and shrimp tacos. Both were really good and nicely presented. We're always happy to visit this location. You won't be disappointed.

We sat out on the enclosed patio this evening, it was nice not too crowded. Our server was attentive but seemed annoyed by us. The drinks were awful. I was super disappointed in my coconut mojito, there was a thick layer of coconut gunk on the bottom, disgusting, I tried to avoid it by while drinking. The food was pretty good. I enjoy the island vinegaratte on the salad. I feel like this place just keeps going downhill. Half of the toilets were clogged in the bathroom, toilet paper was restocked but not in the dispenser, same with the paper towel just sitting on the middle of the counter rather than in the dispenser. Just got the feeling no one really cares about this place!

Nice atmosphere, very crowded without reservations. The food was okay. Not the best but certainly not the worse. The crab dip and drink were the best part part of my dinner. Customer service is above average which was nice to see. Live music is only Mon-Thur so plan accordingly.

The atmosphere in this place is phenomenal if you want to relax in the laid back island mode. The patio is wonderful on a not too blazing hot day. We have gone the last 2 Saturday's and the weather has been great. Also didn't have to wait for a table at 5:30 and 7:00. Service from Rylee (not sure of the spelling) and Cody couldn't have been better. Both were there to make sure we had an awesome time. My only reason for 4 stars is that the menu doesn't seem to be as varied as I would have liked. Many of the dishes had white rice which I think of as a filler. I've had 2 dishes and they were very good but it was a long time deciding what to get. Nothing popped out as I have to try that. I had the jerk chicken pasta. Very good but in my opinion the sauce could have been a tad bit thicker. Next I had the grilled chicken cilantro. Excellent and would order again. Husband had blackened mahi tacos, he wasn't impressed. Second time the lobster and shrimp linguine which was much better and he would order again. My friend is the one that wanted to go this last time and it was for the tequila sunburned salmon which is what she had previously. She loved it. The drinks, Trinidad sour, painkiller and the bahamarita were all fantastic. Dessert we chose was the pineapple butter cake and key lime pie. You can't go wrong with either one but my choice next time will be the key lime pie again. All in all this is a great place to go just to get away with a couple of friends, family or a group of people. The drinks are delicious and sitting on the patio with live music makes for a beautiful evening. My one suggestion would be to have a few specialty dishes.

Great place to sneak away from life. Good food and amazing service (Ashley, the server) is the best! I feel she's underpaid for all she does and how she decorates is. Great server and Great day at bahama breeze with the best food and ambience.

I'm always happy with the food and service at this location - who doesn't love coconut shrimp and cocktails? It's a chain, but a decent one. We've been several times as it's very conveniently located and spacious; good for groups. Two thumbs up.

Grabbed a reservation for tonight at 5:30pm. We received a text with our table reservation. Summer is waiting on us. It's HH until 6pm, half off drinks and apps. We ordered the crab and avocado stack, tropical chicken salad, no goat cheese or candied almonds and blackened salmon, less butter with broccoli and green beans. My husband picked off the shrimp for me. The crab tower looked good, it was okay. We asked for some corn chips, the pitas didn't look to appetizing and we wanted to skip the gluten. The corn chips are thin and crispy and worked well with the stack. The house salad was okay, some burnt lettuce pieces and the Italian dressing was much to sweet for me. The blackened salmon wasn't so blackened and didn't have a lot of flavor and had an herb butter on top of it. The salmon filet was also a over cooked and quite dry and it was even hard one one side, jerky hard. I see why they put the dollop of butter I didn't want on it then. The green beans were at least peppered and nicely cooked, was the best part of the salmon meal. Bill was $44.54. We can pay our bill at the table top pad. It was as a bit off putting to see two customers leave their table by us and walk right by us as we were finishing up eating and neither wore a mask out the door. We quickly put our masks on since no one stopped them to ask them to mask up at all. The iPad shows green once you pay off your bill, it was white when we first arrived.

A group of friends had lunch at this location. They didn't have any type of dry wine such as pinot grigio chardonnay . I would have gone somewhere else but we were meeting friends coming from other locations. Unbelievable with it being a holiday weekend. Restaurant was relatively empty. Please step up your game. We spent at least 300.00 dollars to not get our first second or third choices.

It's not a secret to Epicureans that most restaurants are closed on Mondays, so if you're out and about looking to satisfy your taste buds, you need to have a go to. Well say hello! to mine!, Bahama Breeze!!! They're open every day of the week, they open early, they're well-staffed and you can count on everything that I just stated to you which is utmost if you drive to get there from a somewhat considerable distance away. 7/25 was one more of those glorious days. We were warmly greeted by Jassmin who doubled as our hostess as well as our waitress. We dined Al Fresco, the drinks & food came out promptly, it was all delicious and filled the foody void. Jassmin spoiled us with her attentiveness, her mantra to us every visit was, "it's my job" Once again, my Bahama Breeze proved to be Paradise!!! Island. Kudo's to everyone that's associated with them, 100,000 thanks! to all!

It's been awhile since we had eaten here so we decided to see if it was just as good as we remembered. We were seated quickly but it did take quite a bit for the server to come to the table. Once he did, he was quick to apologize for the wait and explain there was some confusion with wait staff. Throughout the meal he was polite, and attentive. The manager comped our appetizer and was also quick to apologize for the service at the beginning of our meal. I have to say, this was a great dining experience with good food and good service!

We have gone here a few times and sat at the bat, always fast service. Food is good. Staff is friendly. Everything is clean.. Honestly no complaints here.. Other places need to get it together and be more like this place! Looking forward to more positive vibes.

I came here for a Valentine's date with my boo! There is so much to say which is such a pleasant change lately. I feel like many restaurants are going down now a days. From the pleasant hosts, to the amazing serving staff. The food was delicious and the drinks were delightful! There was a nice manager presence and she even asked how my husband and I met many years ago! Will definitely be back, I have never felt so welcomed at a restaurant!

Came in just for some dinner tonight and Everything was great! Food was delicious and came quickly. Our server was amazing and very kind. I've never been here before but this place is super cool and I will definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I went to lunch on Sunday. Our server, Sylvia was phenomenal! When we were seated 3 other tables got seated at the same time. Sylvia managed to serve us all in a timely manor and checked in with us to make sure we had everything. Never once did she seem stressed or overwhelmed. She made time to have conversation with each table and joked with us. Edy the manager stopped over to see how everything was and we both let her know what an outstanding server Sylvia is! Food was delicious as always. My only complaint is I want the crab stack back... Atmosphere and staff get raving reviews from us!

Chicken Pineapple Bowl was excellent. Ordered online. Will definitely order again. Sorry didn't take a picture of the meal.

Not too shabby for happy hour. I love that you can sit anywhere for enjoy these great deals! Although it wasn't busy, I did have to be a little aggressive to get a service even though we were seated at a table. I actually walked up to the register with all the servers to order. After getting everyone's attention, we were able to get a server at our table. The happy hour deals are awesome. The crab and avocado stack was yummy! The drinks were good, but definitely tasted like juice versus a cocktail. Our waiter kept things fun during our night of cocktails, appetizers, and dinner. Super casual vibe. Would check this place out again when there is lice music.

Love coming here for a quick dinner! I've never had a hard time getting seated here, there is plenty of seating. Cute, tropical, large open interior. The service here has always been great, I typically get my food fairly quickly. The Ultimate Margarita is great, strong and delicious! I love the bang bang shrimp and the jerk chicken pineapple bowl, the jerk chicken sauce is tasty.

I love coming here nice service and meals also drinks reasonable prices . I recommend going there for all occasions.

My food was ok except our broccoli was cold &under cooked.The waitress was very unattentative.Saturday evening the day before mother's day. It was busy but not crowded. I called to complain to manager &left message she never replied I even left a message with staff explaining the issues I had,still no reply. we spent over$150 on our meal,that not including the 20% tip we gave Riley I believe her name was.

The service I experience here was on point. It was because of my waitress name Keri. She was amazing. From the moment we sat down she made me and my daughter feel like we already knew her. She was so nice. Always checking on us and we never felt rushed. She was A+ in my book. The food was hot and delicious. We came at happy hour so that made it a perfect time since we were having a snow blizzard. The drinks were half off and so were the appetizers. The key lime pie was so good you want to slap your momma PLEASE DON'T LOL !!!! Keri explained to me how to pay at the table using the Payment machine on the table. The fireplace set the perfect mood since it was snowing. From the time we enter till the time we left. I will definitely be back for sure. Bring a good tip for Keri too,

Service was awful. We got there at 430, reservation was at 5:15, we were not seated until 640. We did not leave until 9:20pm. Someone got wings for an appetizer and we had some that were not cooked on the inside, we told them and they offered to give us 1 wing for the 1 big wing that we showed them was not cooked.. My friends steak over cooked and so dry they sent it back. My other friend had to send there pasta back because had things in it that she had wanted removed. By the time I got my meal, everyone I was with was already boxing up there food so we could leave. We asked so many times where my food was. When my food came, it looked dry and terrible. I sent it back. Waitress had a attitude. Manager took forever to come. Also, we had a huge ant on our table. Ruined my Mother's Day completely. I left without having ate anything.

Service is good, staff is very friendly. But food could use a boost, not a great selection.

I had the opportunity to enjoy dinner at Bahama Breeze in Livonia, MI this evening. The service was exceptional. The vibe was Friday Fun in the environment with good music and caribbean decor. My Server Ashley was on point!!!! Her Customer Services Skills were fabulous. She was very knowledgeable with menu suggestions, she had very good manners and always smiling when directing her attention towards me when speaking. What I enjoyed most with her services was she anticipated my dinner needs and was patient with my questions. I feel that Ashley was the epitome of what a restaurant server represents She was the whole package of a great time at Bahama. Thanks Ashley. you were the bomb.com!!!!!!

Cabana Crunch Chicken Salad. Make sure you get the dressing that comes with it. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of salad I received. Delicious!

This experience transported me to the tropics during a conference lunch break. Seating and service were prompt. The margarita flight was a great choice, with the dragonfruit marg being the showstopper. My meal was the Chicken Tropical Salad, which was a full plate of delicious greens and citrus goodness. Mwah!
