The happy hour here is great. Half off of appetizers and deals on drinks. While the food was great, the seafood pasta was wonderful, we gotta give it a one star for service. It flunked tonight. Badly. but I still tipped them 20% though...

Food: Fish tacos were a little dry, but everything else was delicious. Service: waitresses need to make sure their table machines are able to print receipts. Mine didn't and I waited a little long to see if I could get it printed. Atmosphere: Love the Bahama style vibes. Drinks here show it.

I visited this restaurant over the weekend. We were able to get a table right away. The place was pretty busy, but the server was nice. She got our drinks, appetizers, and food orders pretty quickly. I was undecided about a dish and asked the server which one to go with, and I picked the one she suggested. It was really good. Unique environment with a chill vibe. Plan to visit again.

Had a nice dinner with my mom before I took her to the airport. Our server Isaac was amazing. The food was hot and delicious and the drinks were nice and cold. Always a fun place to go to when we're in the area.

Google
This is basically my first experience with Bahama Breeze, first time I went was 6-7 years ago, and is it worth it? 😗 Ehh. First, service wasn’t amazing unfortunately. It was busy to be fair, but my waitress wasn’t around most of the time. The coconut shrimp appetizer was great—especially the sauce that comes with it, tastes like honey mustard! For my entree, stayed on the safe side and got grilled salmon with yellow rice and broccoli. Ehhh…the salmon could’ve been better, it tasted weirdly bland. The broccoli was great but the yellow rice wasn’t that good either. The menu is very diverse though, so I will say that’s extremely positive!!

Stopped here for lunch. It was fantastic. I had the steak salad that has chimichurri steak and it was so so delicious! I highly recommend this dish and the atmosphere here is fin and a bit playful. Chocolate Island dessert was also very nice.

Google
My recent visit to Bahama Breeze fell flat despite its vibrant, tropical atmosphere. Regrettably, the flavors were underwhelming, the Jamaican Jerk Chicken was bland and lacked the authentic jerk punch, the Jerk Mahi Mahi was overcooked and dry. My overall impression was one of missed potential rather than balanced Caribbean flair. Service was “okay”—efficient enough but devoid of warmth or genuine engagement.

Google
My recent visit to Bahama Breeze left much to be desired. While the atmosphere was lively and the service friendly, the food fell flat. The burger was underwhelming -completely lacking flavor and nothing memorable. On a positive note, the fries were crispy, fresh, and enjoyable. The coconut shrimp, unfortunately, missed the mark. They lacked the sweet, tropical flavor I was hoping for. Overall, the meal felt average at best, especially for the price. Regrettably, don't plan on dining here again.

Yelp
Came here on my birthday last Saturday as I really wanted to get the new Flaming Pineapple Butter Cake for my free birthday dessert. My mom and I weren't too hungry though but we needed to one adult entree to get it so we decided to share a two coconut shrimp taco and upgraded from a cup to bowl for a $1 more of their Bahamian Seafood Chowder. Our waiter Levi was very courteous and had a great sense of humor that he not only brought to us but to his other tables as well. The sauce that comes with the coconut shrimp was such a fantastic pair to the taco. The soup was very good too, with plenty of little shrimps and clams. It also came with oyster crackers which are my preferred toppings on soups. Once Levi saw we were done, he asked if it would be a good time to bring out dessert and we let him know that we were ready! He politely let us know that we could move the spoons away as the fire does make it hot but we said it was alright. The cake was the perfect amount of sweetness and I enjoyed the little fire show that comes with it. It has been years since my mom and I visited Bahama Breeze but re-visiting it was memorable and we were happy to know the food and service here is still stellar. There was live music playing in their other dining section, which was nice as they have soundproof walls so the rest of restaurant didn't have to listen so I thought that was neat. They even had two large fire places inside so made for a cool dining space. Also just an additional tip: I used a gift card here and it turns out you can use it to tip as well, as I know other businesses will allow it or sometimes not so heads up to those with gift cards!

Yelp
Man, back in the day, this place was nice. It's had its time. Parking is grey, there is plenty. Love that the entrance had a ramp and stairs to accommodate all customers. Once seated, our orders were taken promptly. I'll be honest, I don't recall much of the food as it was very mid, if not below. Please note, it was not inedible. It just lacked flavor. Everything was just mass produced food. It felt like an old red lobster restaurant in the 90s. Likely won't return. Holds good memories from the past though.
google avatar

Edenielle A.

Yelp
Food: I ordered the shrimp lobster linguine and my husband ordered the skirt steak. Let me tell you these portions are huge! The linguine is very creamy and loaded with shrimp! I had to take it home to go because even though my daughter and I shared it was still so much food. The skirt steak was medium rare and it as delicious. Very soft and juicy and the sauce on top was amazing. Service: the service was great. The server was very attentive my water was always full. Ambiance: it's a casual restaurant with medium noice level. It is kind of dark inside so it's tough to see the menu but overall it was great.

Yelp
Girls' Night Out Vibes in Bahama Came here for a girls' night, and honestly, Bahama Breeze never disappoints when it comes to happy hour! I've been a few times and always suggest it because the deals are solid and the vibe feels like an instant mini-vacation. The interior has that tropical, island-y design that makes you feel like you should've worn flip flops instead of heels. Staff was super welcoming, and while the service flowed nicely, the A/C was working overtime -- giving a literal Bahama breeze . Note to self: bring a jacket next time. We kicked off with a table full of happy hour favorites: Jamaican wings, tuna stack, and the shrimp + crab dip. Everything came out at once, so our table instantly turned into a feast. The wings were my favorite -- flavorful, a little smoky, and perfect without any heavy sauce. The tuna stack was fresh and colorful, and the dip was creamy, rich, and definitely great to pair with the tropical mix drinks. One of our friends joined late and ordered the paella. It looked amazing, but when I tried it, it leaned way too salty for me and tasted more like jambalaya than paella. Just not my fave. Overall, great service, generous portions, and a perfect spot for happy hour when you want to feel like you're on vacation without leaving Renton. just don't forget a jacket if you're cold-sensitive -- the "breeze" is real.

Yelp
We went to this place for my birthday. I haven't been here in YEAAARRSSS! The environment was very welcoming & we got seated quick even w/ a reservation. Our server was AMAZING! She made sure everything went smooth & everyone was satisfied with their order. I wish I could've gotten her name because she needs a raise for being an excellent host and person. She checked up on us ALL THE TIME! 5 stars for the server. Giving it a 4 star because of happy hour. I wish they had it at an earlier time too instead of just at night Picture is the tequila flight & an ultimate pineapple!

Yelp
A great spot near SEA TAC airport. It's a big space with lots of indoor and outdoor seating so we were able to get a good table. They have a tablet at each table which displays a digital menu but we could not figure out how to order with it, so we used it to call the server to place our orders the old fashioned way. I had the coconut shrimp entree with is served with yellow rice and broccoli. The coconut shrimp was a bit on the over fried side but the rice and broccoli were cooked perfectly. It was super nice that they gave a lot of shrimp. I enjoyed my hot honey mango margarita a lot. It was strong but had all the great sweet and spicy flavors Beware of the games on the tablet, they will charge you for playing the games, which we found out when we got our bill.

Yelp
I have been meaning to visit Bahama Breeze since FOREVER after moving to Seattle years ago, and I finally got the chance to check it out recently. My friends and I wanted to find a place to catch up that's somewhere in between where we all live and just happened to end up going here. I ordered the Margarita Flight which had the Classic, Dragon Fruit, and Cocorita. Out of the three, a Classic Margarita can never do you wrong. The Dragon Fruit was pretty good too, on the sweeter side for sure. Not the biggest fan of Cocorita but still can be enjoyable. Did not get a chance to try the food, but will definitely come back again soon!

Yelp
Great food staple in the community over 20+ years! That popcorn shrimp is special + those chicken wings.

Art H.

Yelp
Food was well served but the service was slow and not very attentive to the customers.

Yelp
Love this place! It has a different type of an "island"vibe than anywhere else in the area. What's good: - Coconut shrimp tacos - ribs w/ fries What's GREAT: Tropical chicken salad with fruit House salad with their house vinaigrette Fish tacos What's ok: Jerk chicken pasta Jerk chicken There's lunch specials during the week for around 13.49. I find that to be a good deal but main items can get expensive. Remember to ask for the Caribbean hot sauce they have. The service is also always pretty good! Not the chatty type of service but it gets the job done. Come here for a good happy hour or meal.

Yelp
One of our go to places that is close to home and that we know we will enjoy! I've tried several items on their menu, but what I usually enjoy is their empanadas, habanero chicken wings and the skillet simmered jerk shrimp; however my absolute favorite item here is their Jamaican spicy sauce! It is spicy and just makes everything taste that much better. We usually sit at the bar area and the bartenders are all nice and friendly.

Yelp
It was alright. Service - We were seated at their "outdoor" sunroom type area. It had a very casual vibe when compared to the main restaurant area. There were heaters out there, so it was very warm. We asked to move due to the heat and were moved 2 tables down. There was live music in the area we were at. Food - I got the Tito's Beachside Strawberry Breeze. Tasted just like I expected from the description. For an appetizer, we shared the coconut shrimp. The shrimp was plump and it had a great crunch. For my dinner, I ordered the Jamaican Jerk chicken which came with some kind of sweet sauce, rice, black beans, and plantain. When I got my entree, it was warm and the chicken was tough. It was tough to the point I could not cut through the meat with a knife. The server was generous and had the kitchen remake the entree without me asking. When the new dish came out, it was piping hot and the chicken was juicy. It was a decent meal.

Yelp
It was literally a last minute dinner reservation on a Thanksgiving night. The place was closing in an hour and they took us in. The restaurant was bustling with families enjoying their dinner and drinks. I believe this is the only restaurant open at this shopping center. Our service was fast, fun and friendly. None of the staff seemed stressed or upset. They were all in a happy mood and smiling. We were looking at the regular menu but decided to take the offer of tonite's special, the Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner. I'm glad we decided on that because it was probably the best we've had. I needed a drink and decided the Bruno smash hit. It was STRONG and I LOVED it. Exactly what I needed. Thank you for a great night.

Yelp
I'd driven right by Bahama Breeze dozens of times while I was on my way to Westfield Southcenter Mall in Tuqwila, but never thought to pop in. It never seemed to be able to pull me in. However, that all changed by a meeting I was invited to for a discussion on a future event for 2025. Was I ever glad I came down on this road trip - oh yaaaaah! The whole restaurant has that Bahamas feel - I can only tell that from movies & tv, having never been to the Bahamas. However, I have been to the Caribbean several times so I think I'm qualified to talk about it - LOL. The entire surrounding of the restaurant has that Caribbean vibe feeling. See my pix. The interior design continues with that Bahamas feel. Very impressive. Our waiter was wonderful & prompt. My cocktail - Guava Goose Cosmo, had me singing ... Day O like Harry Belafonte! Ha! We started with the gigantic Coconut Shrimp - get it! The Jerk Chicken was just ok. Please note if you are a massive expert consumer of Jerk Chicken, then don't get it as it is a bit shy of that umph factor - that extra kick in authentic Jerk Chicken. My Lobster & Shrimp Linguine - was very good but definitely could have had a little more shrimp & lobster in the mix. Best way to describe my time here - I definitely want to come back & try other menu items!

Yelp
Maybe as seniors this is not a good choice for us. We came with a group of 8 (daughters and a granddaughter) for lunch yesterday with a reservation. Everything was very good with the attention to service, drink options and menu choices. Prices were actually very reasonable and larger portions than many other places. The downside was being seated in the sunroom area with metal chairs (very uncomfortable). Actually very bright compared to the main dining areas, though. However, the music was very loud and pop/hip hop classic heavy. Also, windows were open and, unfortunately, it gave the flies and bees an opportunity to be all over the tables and food. Not fun being dive-bombed and swatting while trying to eat! On the plus side, everyone said their meals were good/okay, as well as drinks. My single disappointment was the not-so-yummy empanadas which were my favorite. They ground beef was not to be found, but plenty of goopy sauce inside was the main filler with a wickedly too spicy habanero side dip and bland sour cream. Not what it used to be. The tropical chicken salad, mahi tacos and coconut shrimp were delicious. Cuban sandwich was dry and chewy. Seafood paella was pretty shy on the seafood, too. Maybe another chance another time.

Yelp
What a fun time. Live music was a nice touch with a steel drum. The service was spot on with Kimesha. Drinks were topped off regularly with dishes removed during our meal. The food was delicious and we shared a taste of everything. The steak salad was just enough protein with salad and its dressing. Chicken fillet was seared on both sides with a little finishing seasoning, not dried out past the sear. Good job chef. The shrimp pasta was probably our family's favorite, Alfredo style sauce with a slightly spicy shrimp with searing. Would be nice to have a bahama breeze closer to my home town.

Yelp
Loved everything I ate, excellent customer service. Happy hour is a plus. Place was very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing it really felt like you were fine dining in the Bahamas Also played good music.

Yelp
I've been here a few times over the years, usually for work events. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here or suggest eating here; too many other better options. The restaurant doesn't satisfy my craving for Caribbean food and flavor. Stay away from their ribs.
google avatar

Linda A.

Yelp
Visited Bahama Breeze multiple times. Have always appreciated the vibrant atmosphere and overall experience. Service today was exceptional; deserves special recognition. She was friendly, professional and ensured every detail of our visit was attended to with care. Food fell short of their high standards. The Ahi Tuna Tango Salad with Island Vinaigrette ($19), one of my favs, was disappointing. Dressing's tartness overpowered the balance of flavors I always enjoyed. BBQ ribs I ordered to-go were tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. That said, the portion sizes for both the ribs and fries felt underwhelming for $30. The excellent service, inconsistent food quality and premium pricing make Bahama Breeze a place I'd recommend for occasional visits, rather than regular dining.
google avatar

Deidre B.

Yelp
Came in for a monthly ladies vibe; it was a party of 5. Drinks were delicious! Our food was yummy! The Fire cracker shrimp were all of our favorites (we ordered 2 orders of it due to how good it was). Drinks and food were 4 stars but the service was not great. No one came to check on our table much after our drinks and food came. They do split the bill which made it easy to close out at the end of our dinner.
google avatar

Mayu D.

Yelp
We wanted to try something new, and this place looked really good based on pictures. The ambiance isn't so bad with a fire place, but the food was 1.5-2 stars. Nothing was good. We were so surprised how popular the restaurant is though. their food is equivalent to Apple bee or sizzler's. If you are not the person to enjoy those franchise restaurants, this is not for you. If you like those places, you will enjoy this place as their servers are nice and friendly. Would we come back? No. Even the dragon fruit margarita was too sweet and syrupy. So we won't be back.
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
Our server Adam was super nice. The whole family came to Celebrated my daughter's 25th birthday. We had a long table for 9. Food was delicious. The cocktails was even better. Bahamarita is my favorite drink here. It's so good!!! Ambiance was nice, a little dark just gives you that warm / cozy feeling. Great company to match the good dining experience. Highly recommended.
google avatar

Scotty L.

Yelp
The happy hour specials (1/2 off all appetizers) is what makes this place so special and popular. I'd recommend the Jamaican jerk wings, the 3 cheese crab dip, tuna stack, and the empanadas. The happy hour drinks such as the bahamarita are great because they're like frozen slushies that make you feel like you're on vacation. Service is always quick and helpful here, never had a bad experience. Bar is open seating and if you want a table you can see the host. Lots of tables and plenty of staff so your group should be able to find a table without a problem.
google avatar

Christy O.

Yelp
This was fun - we went here as a party of 6 for Mother's Day lunch. We drove about 45 minutes to eat here. It was fun, but not exactly worth the drive. Here's the hits and misses: Hits: Atmosphere Service Drinks Empanadas Coconut shrimp tacos Decent: Firecracker shrimp Jerk wings - jerk is not at all spicy Fish tacos - bland Sunburned salmon - salmon overcooked, bland Misses: Jerk chicken pasta - more Alfredo than jerk Shrimp and lobster linguine Veggie tacos - bland, needed a lot more salsa What they could do better: -Music!!! They should have had live music all day for a special occasion like Mother's Day. As it was - no music I could hear. -they should have a tostones con gandules appetizer, more varieties of empanadas, should offer sweet plantains, should offer some types of stewed meats--which is a staple of Caribbean cuisine (like pollo guisado, ropa viejo, pernil divino etc) -have some spicier offerings -have a house made fresh pineapple or mango salsa
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
Average food unfortunately and it was freezing inside. Went around 2pm. Service was quick and they were helpful however.
google avatar

Adri R.

Yelp
Bahama breeze is always very consistent with the food that they offer. Have a wide range of different menu options, and they always have some type of special drink that they are offering. Today I decided to get the red snapper over a bed of white rice, and it was absolutely delicious. I always find their price point to be extremely affordable.

K W.

Yelp
We love going to the bar and seeing our favorite server, Mandy! She's always so friendly, so welcoming, and takes such good care of us. She makes my husband the best kamikazes! If you sit at the bar, ask for Mandy, she's the best!
google avatar

Fred H.

Yelp
The food, service and ambience are all excellent. Really good cocktails too. I had the mahi tacos. REALLY tasty! Loved the place.

B G.

Yelp
This place has become a go-to for us whenever we're in town because aunty absolutely loves it, so it's always on our list. On this visit, everything was great! The service was friendly and efficient, which made the experience even better. The only small downside? The dessert was a little too heavy on the alcohol for my taste (I know, I know... who complains about too much alcohol? ). Still tasty though! It does get very busy, so if big crowds aren't your thing, try to time your visit during slower hours. And yes, I'm still mourning the loss of that pineapple rice they used to serve. Bring it back, please!
google avatar

Matthew D.

Yelp
The vibes were good! I would definitely come here with family to celebrate a birthday or enjoy food on a weekend night! the chicken cilantro crema was really tasty grilled chicken(could use a little bit more seasoning) but all of the flavors fit really coherently. Our server was also really attentive and would come regularly to check and see if there was anything we needed!
google avatar

Julie T.

Yelp
We were seated quickly, tucked in a nice corner with some lighting. The restaurant itself is on the darker side. The pasta was bland and desperately needed salt; but once we added it, it was ok. The cheese sticks were just fine, nothing memorable. However, their tuna tostadas were really good! Highly recommend! They have their own parking lot, it's big and easily accessible.
google avatar

Eilene C.

Yelp
We met our family there for dinner and they were able to accommodate a party of 8. We sat near the windows and the seats were comfortable with lots of room. We enjoyed all of the appetizers we ordered that we ordered another round of each. The crab drip was our favorite. The best part of our experience at Bahama Breeze was our waiter Brylle. He was attentive and provided us with options for our meals and even reminded us about happy hour prices.
google avatar

Daisy C.

Yelp
great childhood nostalgic food place. been living in Washington all my life and this is a great place to go if you are around the southcenter mall area. noisy but a chill place to go for good food and drinks. service was a waitlist too I believe but easy to get seats quick.
google avatar

Sam B.

Yelp
Ohh my goodness.. Straight out, let me tell you that the food was delicioooousss!!! The place is right besides the Westfield Mall. Their dining area is huge. We chose to go there on a weekday for lunch, so we were able to be seated immediately. The pics don't do any justice to the food. I couldn't get any more pics as we were so darn hungry . Their jerk chicken was one of the best I've had. Crispy outer skin and really juicy chicken meat. The Buffalo chicken wings were equally yumm.. I plan on going there again, so I promise to get some more pics.

Yelp
Had an amazing time with my father with my father and my sister. Christine B. Was our server and she was excellent, she kept up on our drinks never leaving us thirsty and accommodated to my elderly father
google avatar

Meg D.

Yelp
We have held two work events at this Bahama Breeze and I have to say they have fantastic customer service, food and a private room that's perfect! They're always so kind and accommodating with the special requests we've had. Shout out to managers Bree and Lisa and our server, Sara that helped with the most recent event! We only heard positive feedback from everyone that attended and I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work and assistance! I've also eaten here with family on two other occasions and those have been great experiences as well. Thanks a million, Team BB!

Bertha C.

Yelp
The service was ok I would love to go to a restaurant without having to send food back. Today was my twin and I birthday. She ordered a pasta dish along with three other orders. Her came out and had to be sent back it was cold. I ordered a side salad which was wilted. And the fire cracker shrimp that was over cooked and not even warm to touch. I didn't bother sending them back. Just so over it I didn't address it with the waitress. Another guest ordered the jerk chicken that had to be sent back because they were hard and dried out. I just don't understand why this is a ok practice. Why not just do it right the first time. A big birthday disappointment.
google avatar

Annette S.

Yelp
I looooove this place. Been coming for 15 years. Christine our server took really good care of us. She even got us a substitute drink when we didn't like one. I had crab dip, and for entree got red snapper. Substituting sweet potato mash. My friend got the paella. Everything was delicious! Pina colada in a pineapple can't be beat! Thanks Christine!

Yelp
After going to the Woodland Park zoo, we decided to go to Bahama Breeze for a late lunch. The service was outstanding. The ambience was very nice with lively Island music playing on the speakers. We each had different meals that were equally amazing. My daughter had the cheeseburger sliders, my wife had the jerk shrimp pasta. I had the seafood paella. Each plate was seasoned just right. We'll definitely come back. Kiana was our server, she did an amazing job.

Angela H.

Yelp
On 10/15/25 we went to the Tukwila, WA Bahama Breeze to have our favorite dishes, Seafood Paella and Steak Churrassco, for my birthday lunch. The steak was undercooked and red (instead of medium well). It was sent back to the kitchen to cook it some more, but when returned, it had a charred, burnt taste to it on the top. Really unappealing for the price of $32.00. My husband's Paella was okay, but the sauce was runny and not as good as previous dining experiences there. The scallops were rubbery. We've decided to not return to BB again, because they keep raiding prices and food quality is not up to par as in the past. Very disappointing to spend $100 (we had virgin mango daiquiri's too - they were good). Their Cuban bread is a cheap quality. BB is taking short cuts. My steak seemed smaller size too. This is a restaurant that is heading south. Beware. Choose somewhere else.

Yelp
Good service and atmosphere were fantastic. Loves that you can get some of the meals in half portion sizes. Great variety of drinks, and the crab dip is some of the best I've ever had!

Scott M.

Yelp
Our waitperson (Rose) said she would take care of us, and she did literally, including exchanging a drink that was not to our liking. The fish entrees were pricey, but the portions were generous. Very pleasant evening.

Janie W.

Yelp
Excellent ambiance, great customer service and the food was delicious! Came to dinner to celebrate my niece's birthday, Mirand and Andrea did a fantastic job taking care of all of us! I also, really the excellent customer of the manager, Khalyia!

Woody W.

Yelp
Well where do I start. I will start with the server. Her name was Monica. What an AWESOME servicer, very friendly, fun, fast, great personality. She made it extremely enjoyable. The atmosphere was like being in the tropics and the food was excellent A+ experience and the server was the most memorable

Pedro G.

Yelp
I don't ever post reviews on restaurants because I understand the industry but this time I was very unhappy with food quality they are serving. The worst food ever, we ordered 3 different entries and only the salmon entre was good out of all 3 entries, the greens on the mango salad greens were so old and wilted, too many pickled red onions probably more onions then salad, tuna is not fresh and it looks like they using a frozen product. Skirt steak salad, old and brown lettuce, half way cooked bacon, chimichurri old and brown. Tuna tostada good but too much sauce Fried shrimp was ok Mojito was flavorless and old brown piece of mint. Bill was $140 all included, definitely bad food is not what it used to be back on the old days. I forgot to said that the manager came over to replace the mango salad but it was no better so at this point didn't want to complain again so we paid the bill and left the restaurant. We didn't eat the salads.

Yelp
Bahama Breeze is still one of my fav chain to stop by every once a while when visiting South Center area. They do have good options on their menu. I like to try different entree each time I visit. Not to mention that they do have good happy hour 4-6pm on Monday to Friday. Definitely worth it! They never seem to disappoint me yet. Good service and good food!

Nicole W.

Yelp
The food was delicious and our appetizer came out very fast. They have so many drinks to my liking. The service was great.
google avatar

Lilian G.

Yelp
Their yellow rice was undercook and super salty. Salmon was nicely grilled but also lack flavor... I needed extra lemon to it. The drinks were always great. The seafood paella was also salty but that was probably due to the undercook yellow Rice. The place has a nice ambiance though.
google avatar

Deviantislander C.

Yelp
Great food and service. Lots of seating because the place is always busy, even on slow days.
