I came here for my first time and ordered through their app. While the flavor I asked for was delicious, I wasn't happy with how they tried to underserve the quantity I asked for.
According to the app, your cups will be served one of two ways... upon your preference. If you don't want a lid, they will give you a huge mound (like many shaved ice places do). If you do want a lid (the lid is flat, not mounted like at 7-Eleven), they will upgrade your cup to a bigger size to compensate for the space between the old cup size and the flat lid.
I wanted it as it was, without a lid... in a large cup.
Instead, they cut the top off of mine without upgrading the cup. I paid quite a lot for that big mound only to be given what could be an actual downsize.
Before you say that I may have received an upgraded cup without knowing it as it was my first time, they actually had a display of cup sizes. I compared my large with the large that was on display. It was obviously a large. It makes me wonder if this is how they treat all app orders and that next time I want the full serving, I should go inside and order in person. (I shouldn't be expected to have to for this kind of thing.)
So, if you want to get the full experience... I suggest you go in person instead of using the app, or don't go at all.
Another thing, I wasn't the only one. My friend who came with me, she ordered 2 small cups with one having the lid and one as it was. They gave her 2 small cups with both having the lid. Her kid was actually disappointed as his favorite thing was having that mound. That was the whole shaved experience he enjoyed.
Perhaps, I am better off going to local shaved ice place in Plano that I always went to in the past.
