Bahama Buck’s always hits the spot when it comes to shaved ice. The flavors are so good and the texture is super soft, and the portions are generous. Whether you’re grabbing a classic like Tiger’s Blood or trying one of their wild combos, it’s always a refreshing treat. Only downside is the wait if you’re ordering for a group or getting multiple drinks, it can take a while. But the quality makes it worth it. Overall, it’s a go-to spot for beating the Arizona heat and treating yourself to something sweet!

Everyone here is really nice, but moves at snails pace. Mean really really slow. If you have nothing to do. I say in line for 15 mins with only one car in front of me. No one else in line The shaved ice and ice cream are always top tier, but they could use daily motivation to get em going. Other than that 10/10.

I'm giving stars for the snocones and service. Aside from that, this restaurant is FILTHY. There were old drippings on the wall where our booth was, it smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in a while and the floors were very sticky. We went on a Friday around 5pm and there was only one other small group there. Please give this restaurant a good deep clean.

That unexpected cola taste with the creamy Oreo is seriously delicious! I always get it now. If you want a great treat, go to Bahama Buck's!

Got a small oasis from here, this my first time coming to Bahama Bucks and I’ve heard the hype from everywhere. The smoothie is pretty good, service has to be better next time 😂 Young girl wasn’t happy at all I was nice whole time smiling she took order after a wait but wasn’t even nice when she not gave it to me but slam my drink down in front- I of course said thank you but she looked at me and said nothing lol oh well it didn’t affect me much but if you are to work in customer service than do you part thank you!

A delightful oasis in the desert. Bahama bucks is a tropical smoothie/ fruit blends/ bowls spot in the desert. They have fruit blend smoothies, cream blend smoothies, Bahama sodas , frozen favorites, bowls and Red Bull infusions. When it breaks 100+ in Phoenix this cool treat place will definitely cool you down. A++ Kudos to Buck from the Bahamas!

The space was very clean. They weren't busy, so we we were able to order and receive our smoothies quickly. Parking is simple, and they even have an outdoor space for cooler weather. Inside they had games available as well.

The staff was a set of mostly young people and I am surprised to say their customer service was great. They offered samples, answered questions, and were overall helpful. The drinks were well made. The only thing was my drink was overflowing from my cup and that could have been fixed prior to serving my drink but when I asked for an extra cup, they gave me one. And there were several dirty tables that needed to be cleaned. I like that they have games like uno, dominoes, and jenga. A nice distraction for the kiddos while we waited. There's plenty of seating and they have a nice patio.

We drive from Surprise to grab Bahama Bucks! It's such a great spot to get a snow cone and ice cream or you can put it together and enjoy the creamy-iceness that bucks offers. My favorite is Jamaican rum punch and watermelon. So so good! The service is ok. I will say they are patient as it takes some time going through the flavors and wrapping your head around snow ice and ice cream together with cream on top.. and that cute umbrella.. stop it! It looks tropical inside and a great space hangout for a little bit while you indulge in your goodness. There are games to play in or outside which makes for an awesome family friendly game time experience!

Ok I was introduced to Bahama Bucks in Lubbock Texas. Luv this place then when I got back to Arizona we had one in Laveen. Did I say I luv this place. One I'm a sour fan sour pickles, candy, lemon, lime, and anything sour. I just luv sour & then put it in flavors on shaved ice, GENIUS!!! I got the avalanche sat in car ate the mountain on top & put lid on for drive home. Fluffy Grandma recommends.

Bahama bucks was great! Super friendly staff! I have been having craving for shave ice since I left Hawaii! Although not the same, it fixed my craving! They have sour spray also you can add which I loved. My partner got the natural flavors which she seemed to really enjoy also!

I haven't been in here in quite awhile but after seeing it on TikTok it made me crave it I opted to try Birthday Cake with Vanilla ice cream and extra sprinkles (yes I know lol) my son chose the Oreo, my hubby the Mango Piccadilly with extra chamoy and chili salt. Now the birthday cake is not something I would have chosen on my own but after seeing "Dylan" on TikTok saying it was one of his favorites I thought why not... well it taste exactly like that... it was good but not something I would pick again or turn down if given one it's pretty sweet. My son is a huge Oreo fan and he said he would definitely get this again, now what kind of mom would I be and not try it... me personally it was strange.. I mean it was like eating an Oreo cookie watered down but he loved it. My husband enjoyed his said next time he would do the pickle juice Piccadilly opposed to the mango.

This was my first time hearing about this place as I am from the East Coast and was in town visiting a friend. She recommended this place for something sweet and cold during their over 100 degree weather. Whew how do your Arizonans do it? LOL I loved that they had many options of flavors. I ended up getting the orange creamsicle flavor in a small cup. The small cup is def a large cup to me. Lets just say you get alot of bang for your buck here. The portions are huge. And the ice itself was just so smooth. No chunks. As an avid ice eater in the past, the texture of the ice was phenomenal. lol Overall i enjoyed my dessert.

"ICE ICE BABY" Bahama bucks never disappoints. They have so many flavors it's ridiculous. Everything taste super good. The texture of the snow is so soft and it melts in your mouth like cotton candy. As we pull up to the drive thru: Honey: What do you want? Me: Orange Cruiser. Honey: What size? Me: If you want to share with me get a large. If you don't want to share with me get me a large. :)) he! he! he! So...we ordered a large Orange Cruiser, Strawberry Frostcake, Unicorn, and Bomb pop. All so refreshing and perfect for a warm day. We love coming here, so many different flavors to choose from. Until next time.

Bahama bucks has some of the most delicious drinks and redbull infusions than anywhere else I've been. They have the most attentive and nice employees. Definitely recommend especially now that the temps will be rising.

Bahama Buck's is a gemstone in South Phoenix. On a hot summer you cool down and enjoy a shave ice dessert or a refreshing smoothie. They have a variety of flavors and options. I had the Blue Coconut. My son tried the Captain Crunch shaved ice. The service was very helpful with ideas on what to order. The lobby is very spacious and has different games to play with friends and family.

we used to drive all the way Mesa just to get shaved ice. Luckily this location opened. It's still a long drive but closer than Mesa. They have so many flavors from sweet to sour or spicy but for me, Bahama Rama mama is the way to go. My all time favorite: piña colada bahama Rama mama. A treat like no other and it doesn't help that my kids are quite the instigators so we often find ourselves here late at night. We usually hang out and play the ring toss game they have outside while we finish our treats. The young lady working on 3/5/20 near closing time was very nice. She was very helpful in suggesting flavors. We had a full punch card so we got a free shaved ice. My son ordered a 32 oz and she suggested he upgrade to a 44 oz since it was free. An avalanche was too much even for my son but it was so nice of her to offer. Most employees would of just not cared. One of my family's Favorite treat even during winter plus great customer service. Can't beat that.

We love this location especially because they have so much indoor and outdoor seating! The staff is always friendly and helpful to recommend flavors/items. We haven't had an item we didn't like so far! My husband and I try to get something different every time as well. My kids love to add toppings to their sno for an extra treat! Overall if you're in the area, stop by and grab something! You won't be disappointed!

Very sad to see masks are no longer required for staff. This was one of the last TWO drive-thru food places I could use safely - Starbucks d-thru the other. When I asked the cashier, they said masks are no longer required if they're vaxed. Sorry, but my high risk of not surviving even a breakthrough case means no more B-Bucks until hopefully the COVID pill becomes an effective backup to protect people like me from the ignorant inconsideration of others.

First time here ! Stopped with family to enjoy some cool treats . They have a very creative items, endless options and flavors . My favorite is how soft ice is here . Our order was The shark attack by sour patch . It was good the perfect amount of sweet but not sour . Bomb pop something I think. Literally childhood classic . Includes it's own popsicle. Cheesecake snow cone . It wasn't a good choice but my daughter choose it herself (9yrs) . It was to bland I told her that but she didn't listen . Anyways we order a strawberry cheesecake freeze smoothies and it was a little better but not our favorite . We are stay away anything cheesecake. We will definitely return tho . Business was clean staff was friendly and they have outside patio which is nice . If the weather is good it's a definite must especially on how cold it gets inside.

So refreshing and so tasty! The girls taking orders and making the drinks are always friendly and provide good customer service. Wish they could do something about the area though, the parking lot gets a little crazy and you see weird people/things around there. Other than that - it is a good place!

Was in the area.. Tried the Candy Corn snow and it tasted great! The sizes for the price are spot on.. I plan on coming back if I'm in the area again.

A pal and I visited this place during a classic hot Arizona day- we were very satisfied with the tasty treats they made for us. We ordered the Blue Raspberry shaved ice (can I call them raspados? I'm gonna call them raspados) and a Mango raspado topped with chili salt and chamoy. DEFINITELY recommend the mango one; my mouth is watering just thinking about it. There's a variety of games available if you want to play while eating your treat- we bonded over some Jenga. Fun side note: the spoons change color! They turn dark blue when they're cold. I just thought that was cool :) Can't wait to go again!

Nice shaved ice/sno/soda /Hawaii style deserts!! These were awesome... super affordable for what you get... huge menu and selections of flavor combos.. I will recommend to add the cream add on... service took a little while but with the walk in and drive thru going it wasn't so bad... surely will be back only wish there was a location more centrally located in phoenix!!! Fingers crossed! !!

The line was ridiculous but it is 111 degrees outside. They are conveniently located in the shopping plaza. Cute building. I definitely could have done without the staff in their short shorts (but once again it is 111 degrees and it's not corporate America) the line moves pretty fast and the drinks are amazing. I ordered a frozen lemonade limeade. I tried the bomb pop which was definitely a kids wish. It came with the actual popsicle (perfect for splitting it between my two nephews!) the tray is super cute but not functionally smart. I'm the short ride home the popsicles leaked over the side and caused a huge mess on me and in the car. (The syrup they use in the bomb pop actually dyes the skin, so be careful )

I always have a great experience at this Bahama Bucks location. They are always friendly and my order is always correct. The topper is they LOVE seeing the doggos almost always give them a plain snowball (which Basil goes bonkers for.) I highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a shaved ice or smoothie.

I read all reviews but I really enjoyed my first experience. I love the mangoneada so much. I feel like people are not considerate of business and they just add negativity reviews for one thing when in reality is hard to run a business in this time we are in. Is hard to find good quality people and labor is so high. I did not experience anything negative about this place.

Came in 3 days prior to place an order for a party pick to ensure it was ready in time for our event. When i come in it takes 8 minutes for anyone to even greet me at the counter. The guy finally goes "ready to order?" then informs me my order is not ready yet. Another gentleman came out, barely knowing the details of my order, and said since they got hit with orders today of all the same thing they hadn't even started on mine yet. What was the point in me ordering days in advance to avoid this? They are very unapologetic and the service here is always unwelcoming and slow. Even now they are taking no urgency to complete the order that i paid for days ago.

Terrible customer service the quality is overrated overpriced syrup is what you are paying for the inside is disgusting sticky and dirty everywhere I'd rather pay for an icee or slurpie from a gas station / 7 eleven definitely will not be returning their staff is very rude & unprofessional

Horrible customer service. Here was how it went: Me at the drive-thru: I'd like to try your pickle flavor but I don't want it if it's sweet like at Sonic. Girl on speaker: Um, well it tastes like a pickle Me: But a sweet flavor or just the salty/sour flavor? Her: No it's not sweet -so I ordered it- Same girl handed it to me and I took a taste. It was sweet (and sour) and gross. Me: I can't eat this. It's sweet. Her: (looked at me blankly, no offer of a different one) Me: I thought you said it wasn't sweet? I specifically said I didn't want it if it was like the one at Sonic? Her: we aren't responsible for knowing what other restaurants do. Me: I know, but you said it wasn't sweet! Her: Well I never tasted it before Me: Then why did you tell me it wasn't sweet?! Her: I guessed. I was so ready to scream that I didn't even ask for my money back and just drove away. At ANY TIME she could have just said she had no idea and I would have ordered another flavor.

My husband has been a Bahama Bucks fanatic for years! Previously, he would drive all the way to the other Tempe location, but now we have one just a mile from home. He is so thrilled! A few things to note about this location as it is different than others than I've been to, and I've been to multiple ones in multiple states. I told you my husband is a shaved ice fanatic. First, the other locations are closed on Sunday but this is OPEN! It is open seven days a week. Secondly, this location sells soda and charges for bottles of water. Other locations serve strictly shaved ice and ice cream and the bottled water is free. Those things aside, the ice here is made with some kind of magic and is so fluffy. I can never explain it to you fully but I'll try. The ice blocks are super clear before they shave them which I think is the secret, ultra filtered water. There is absolutely no crunch of ice here, this is fluffy like a cloud. Other shaved ice I have had is always crunchy. I've never been able to locate a suitable alternative for the great treats from Bahama Bucks! They have about a million flavors. I'd recommend looking at the menu before you go so you have time to think about your flavors. The reason the wait in the drive through and inside sucks is because people are generally idiots and like to stand around and aimlessly read the menu. Doing your research will pay off. They are always willing to make you any flavor combination that you want. Just stop expecting each employee to craft you a custom mixture tailored to your favorite flavors because it's holding up the line!

I introduced my nephew for the first time to Bahama Buck's. It was before 10:30 pm. We were in the lobby and one of the female employees says "can you leave already" Then she said "when you leave use the other door" I understand it's the Laveen location but the staff is never friendly regardless of the day or time. Her comment was rude. And this is why I wrote the review. Maybe the lobby hours should change? Whatever this wouldn't happen at an east Mesa location

It's summer in AZ! What's a better way to cool off then with a shaved ice. I don't know what magic they do in the back, but their ice is ridiculously soft. I had a strawberry mango and they pour just enough syrup to get to the bottom, but not too much that you have something to drink. I'll try a different flavor every time I come here.

My daughter and her friends love this place. Delicious smoothies with yogurt and ice cream options and amazing snow cones with powerful flavor. This is one of go to favorite treats on the hot days in sunny AZ!

Laveen needed something Hot and New! Bahamas Bucks was busy even on a Sunday night near closing. They were still swift and friendly. I tried the shaved ice- tropical rum as expected. Bomb . Another part our order was a Blue Raspberry/ Margarita shaved ice. The margarita flavoring was light so chances are to try a different combination since they have so many! Third order was a strawberry shaved iced Bahama rama style: including some drizzle and ice cream at the bottom of the shaved ice. Goodness . Definitely will be back! Expect long lines when using the drive through. But the wait is worth it!!

When you go here in order, they put more syrup hardly any shaved ice in there and then when you ask them to remake them, they say they'll put more ice. Very bad service. Unfortunately I will not be returning here.

Ah! I absolutely love this place! The location is fairly new and the theme is really cool. There are tons of options and flavors to choose from. I have tried a few different ones, the banana is my favorite! They will even give you plain shaved ice in a small cup if you request for your dogs! I really love soft powder like shaved ice and this place is the best for it. Service may be hit or miss depending on how patient you are. This location is very busy. But the staff are efficient and do their best. I normally go inside to order and sit while waiting for my order to be ready eh oh can take some time as they do have a drive thru to prioritize. The drive thru always has a long line in the evenings which is expected. I've been through it once so far too we did wait for quite some time as the line wrapped around the parking lot near by. Once I ordered everything was ready by the time I got to the window. I did request plain shaved ice for my pup I had with me and it was given to me at no cost which was nice. I do wish they had more locations as this one is out of the way for me but it is worth it!

Worst SERVICE if I could put a negative 5 STAR I WOULD I waited 40 min in a drive through that I couldn't not reverse out of because a car was behind me to finally reach the drive thru window to be told it will be another 15 min..mind u only one more car was in-front of me..It SEEMS the MaNAGER GEORGE left his EMPLOYEE in a BUSINESS to RUN all BY HIMSELF..the employee was working the front lobby and the drive thru and was repeating constantly "I am the only worker in the building right now...we didn't expect this many customers to come in today" I do not blame the employee I do blame the manager George...damn shame..I feel bad for the employee working he was truly trying but he was in an entire business establishment on a Friday by himself

Friendly and fast services. I loved my drink! I love how many options you have and the employees are always available to help if you have trouble choosing.

This is one of my favorite shaved ice places to eat at. I love getting the cream on top of my shaved ice. It gives the ice a bit more of a sweet taste to it. The menu also has TONS of flavors to choose from and you can even combine flavors as well. I love getting the little umbrella put on top of my ice. Gives it a cute little beach look.

I think this location has been open for a month, maybe less. I had never been to this chain and my first experience was pleasant. It's a new building so it's clean, well kept, and organized. A variety of games are kept in plastic containers and the outside patio has games, too. There was an EXTENSIVE variety of flavors and they all seemed to be in stock. We tried a regular frozen lemonade, shaved ice with ice cream, and shaved ice with sours and add-ons. Front person looked presentable, nice, and knowledgeable. They will let you try a sample if you're not sure if it's something you want. We did have to wait 2-5 minutes in between each item but I saw the drive thru window going a little faster if you're in a hurry.

The most expensive ice I've ever had but worth every penny! Seriously I loved their shaved ice! The actual customer service isn't so excellent & It usually takes 15-20 minutes to get your order.

The general manager is a poor excuse of a leader and has terrible customer service skills!!! I've visited this location for the last time. Pulled up before the stated 10pm close time while they still had cars in the drive through, but come time to order they wouldn't serve me. The General manager says over the speaker they are closed and after asking for an explanation he comes outside and threatens me. Absolutely, positively no excuse for that type of customer service.

I have been here a few times. Myself & Family love all the types of beverages & ice cream you can get here great menu selection. I love that at this location they offer its customers games to play while enjoying your ice cold beverage/ ice cream. The place is always well kept and has great customer service. My only complaint is the prices. They are in my opinion over priced.

Very nice staff and very good food! Kind of pricey for shaved ice but the quality is what you're paying for! I stopped by before going to the park with my dogs. The employee heard them barking in the back seat and offered me a shaved ice snack for my pups too! It was really thoughtful because it was hot outside and my dogs weren't in need of a treat to begin with especially when they were barking at the employee haha! I ordered four shaved ice passion fruit, horchata, vanilla, and strawberry daiquiri all with vanilla ice cream but the last one which was strawberry. The strawberry ice cream at the bottom of the shaved ice was basically the cherry on top! It had real chunks of strawberries in it which is one of my favorite ways to have strawberry ice cream and mixed with a strawberry daiquiri it was basically perfection on a hot summer day.

First, young rude kids work there. They are always out of stuff not sure if they just don't want to work or what. I ordered at drive thru told out of certain things. Okay so I drive up to get order of what they did have. See kid eating pickles out of his hand with gloves on and continues making orders. 3 of my orders needed pickles which I was told they were out of. Girl comes to window okay we're actually out of salt now. I finally said okay can I just get a refund I mean you're out of everything right now. She does it supposedly and shuts window I wave her down can I get a receipt that I'm getting refunded back this money you telling me it'll appear 3-5 days means nothing to me. Shift leader comes to window prints a receipt but not refunded just the one telling me what I paid. Drove off because nothing was resolved. Always have problems with this place but first time saying something

Oh my, Bahama Bucks is so delicious! The shaved ice is the softest "sno" I've ever had! So many flavors to choose from.. sweet, sour, and strange! Dill Pickle?! Maybe one day! The have a Bahama Rama Mama which has Blue Bell ice cream packed into the bottom of the cup and cream atop of your sweetened sno. Don't miss this! Several other items on the menu such a sodas, smooties, and frozen coffee drinks. A bunch of HighSchool kids are ruining the joint, and I think that's cool! Bringing a few great things to the neighborhood! Drive through available and can take awhile of there is a line. Worth the wait? Yes, but don't be in such a hurry. Relax Mon. I recommend going inside to sample a few flavors today!
