Bahama Buck's is a perfect place to get a Shaved Ice. Lots of different flavors.

Awesome vibe, super polite staff that were quick and efficient. We ordered the Bomb Pop for my son who absolutely loved it (we totally needed a lid and straw to go after he ate the top) and Kokomoko for my spouse and I which was delicious and chocolatey. Overall impressed with it all.

Friendly service and quick. Decent quality of syrups and they offer sugar free ice.

A Mesa staple! Always great shave (it's not "shaved") ice. Got the Dr Paradise (coconut Dr Pepper with creme and it was tasty. The creme is nice for us people with lactose issues because it is soy based.

Wonderful customer service! We've always found this location clean. The have a huge variety of flavors, including sugar free. Spring for the cream on your snow 😋! The ring game is so simple yet what's entertains my kids.

Two adults and a 4 year old. We all chose what we wanted and ordered the small. Well let me tell you, the small is huge. Four year old had the gummie filled delight. Fun atmosphere and friendly attentive staffing.

It is still 100 degrees at 9:30 at night. It is so hot. My babe took me to get some shaved Ice. I love that here are at least 20 choices of sugar free flavors and sugar free cream. What a yummy refreshing treat. Staff were super nice #bahamabucks #lfthx

My shakes are always very good but it seems like the usual time I go they are severely understaffed as in one person working there at a time?!?!! I mostly get served by Tessa and very rarely Beree I believe her name is. In my honest opinion it is not right to set anyone off alone in case of an accident or something else happens. The music also has made a drastic switch lately and it has been very odd. Who plays the national anthem as music?? Hopefully they start to work up to getting things running a bit better behind the scenes because I really do enjoy going there.

Great place to gather to cool down especially during the summer. Service was fast and the staff was friendly. The menu is monumental! Anything you can imagine or make combos, they have a variety of flavors. I got the watermelon however it was okay. I did like the bubble gum/ice cream combo, it gave a better dessert satisfaction. I'd come again!

The customer service is always great. The food comes out quick and it always taste nice the place is clean and always has family friendly people in there. I just need them to keep stock on the sonic spoons and all is good lol

I went with my friend, Desi and her daughter and they live near one of these in Mesa. I liked it but I didn't like my flavor. I can see the potential and will totally be back. I got tiger's eye and it's just not a flavor I love but I like ice cream and slushies so I would get something like watermelon or something simple. The kiddo had so much fun eating hers so it was worth it.

i usually never write reviews but i needed to. i have always come to this location as it only being 5 minutes from where i live and i've never had an issue till today. i understand they get super busy but any other bahamas bucks i've been to usually has 3-4 people working. today only had two people working. one girl was super impatient and rude to her coworker, didn't catch her name. we waited in line for 20-25 minutes we understood that they were busy. we ordered. i got mine after like 5 minutes then they didn't even make my boyfriends drink at all. made a whole big order ahead of ours. then he went and asked how long it would be very nicely and the girl got super rude and said "i don't have that information" as he didn't ask the right question. so i went up and asked and i said "we've been waiting for over 15 minutes for his drink, do you know how long it'll be", mind you they made over 8 drinks for a family who came in after us. and then they finally started to make the drink after i said something, the co worker that was rude in the beginning told her coworker she was making it wrong. then you could tell she was upset as she was slamming things on the table and slamming her fridge door. anyway i've never seen a bahamas bucks worker be so rude to her employees and didn't take the time to ask what my boyfriend meant usually these places are about customer service. but she just brushed him off and went back to working. just very unprofessional. will be going to another location next time.

Delicious treats & super friendly staff! They have the classics and so many new fun flavors including one with a popsicle that my kid picked out. Great for summer!

I can't have dairy, and my husband adores Andy's Frozen Custard which I can't eat. We finally found a place that we're both happy with and that is Bahama Buck's! It's the closest we've found to true Hawaiian shave ice. You can also add ice cream if you want. Wow, everything is so tasty and doesn't take long to make. They also have a weirdly addicting hook game near the entrance that even entertains adults. If you download their app, you can get a free drink of any size so it's worth doing. I'm so happy to have found this place, plus they give you a little umbrella in your cup. The only criticism I would say is that this location is quite busy and seems to be understaffed, but I guess that's just everywhere now.

This is a busy Bahama Buck's it seems in this area for young families with kids. Tons of flavors to choose from the girls are friendly . I got a 12 oz pina colada with the vanilla ice cream on the bottom. It was as good as I remembered

Going to Bahama Buck's reminds me of when I was a kid in the Valley. However, now as an adult I find their shaved ice to be too sweet. This location's staff was not very friendly or knowledgeable, they did not provide particularly fast service and our table was sticky. Also, being that is was a Saturday night, the place was overrun with screaming children. It would be really nice if this location had a drive-thru like other BB locations I remember. One plus is that the ice is still super creamy as ever. Like revisiting favorite childhood cartoons, maybe some memories and place like Bahama Buck's are fonder if they stay in the past.

Nice place, friendly employees and very clean. We ordered quickly and we were told about a promotion to buy one get on free through the year, so we bought one of those since summer is here. Shaved ice came out fast and it was delicious! My husband's didn't have a lot of syrup toward the bottom third of his, but since I got ice cream in the bottom of mine I didn't have that issue. Great flavors and a place we love to go.

They only hire the BEST here! Very polite staff. I wish other businesses had customer service this good. Dakota is a super star employee just fyi!

Wow! I am a big fan of snowcones and I'm willing to travel to a lot of places to try different ones. I've been to various Bahama Buck's locations and this one in particular has the best service that I've ever experienced, amazing presentation, and delicious snow. If you are needing to order in bulk they can accommodate that quickly and correctly. The store manager in particular is creative at finding solutions to any challenge and is able to juggle various tasks. I hope anyone who comes here at least tries adding some ice cream in the bottom of their snow cone. I personally recommend vanilla ice cream on the bottom with strawberry snow on top that is a personal favorite of mine. However every single flavor that I've tried here has been amazing.

Yummy fun spot for a date! There are even sugar free options! The menu is huge and you definitely get your bang for your buck! I recooked the blue coconut Bahama-Rama-mama!

This location is the one we deliver from the most. They are GREAT! They always get our orders right, and they get it out the door quick. One thing that I love is that they send punch cards too. Only thing I would say is, maybe have wrapped spoons for deliveries? I wash them every time, as who knows what the delivery driver does with them.

Finally tried out a Bahama Bucks and I was not disappointed! I ordered one of their fruit cups with vanilla ice cream on the bottom and it was fantastic! I had no idea they had those, as I thought it was only shaved ice and sodas. The strawberries and bananas were super fresh and the ice cream was SO good. My husband tried one of their sodas (cherry lime I think?) and he was pleased. I can't wait to come back for another fruit cup. This will definitely be a go-to spot for us during the heat of summer!

Insanely cramped and have too much on the menu for someone to know their order before they get to the register. It attracts a less than desirable crowd who drive away future patrons. The shaved ice is better than 95% of places you go to throughout your life though.

I personally don't love sweets, so Bahama Buck's is not my kind of place. If you have a major sweet tooth and like a huge variety of syrups, this might be your spot! Smoothies: I tried a friend's Mango Tango smoothie (whipped cream and all) - creamy and sweet. My friend also loved his Strawberry Calypso, which was really sweet. For something a little tangier, I tried the Bahamakazi, and a bit of my friend's Bahama Berry Blast. Both were less sweet than the Mango Tango & Strawberry Calypso, but still not quite what I like in a smoothie. That could be personal taste though - if you like a sweet smoothie with lots of fun flavor options, you'll probably like it here! Shaved ice: I sample a little bit of 2 friends' flavors (Hurricane Colada & Jamaican punch). I'm not the best judge, but from the taste I got, I stand by my smoothie verdict. If you love sweets & lots of flavors - give this place a try! Perfect for the AZ heat.

My family totally loves Bahama Bucks. The shaved ice served here is more like snow than ice, super soft and chopped up really fine so that it melts in your mouth when you take a bite. There are about a zillion flavors to choose from so there should be something for everyone. And then there's cream you can get on top, which I thought I wouldn't like at first but just makes an already great product even tastier. Additionally, and I'm not sure if this is just this location or if others do this too, but I love that at this one there are palm trees outside with everyone's umbrellas from their snow cones stuck in them! So cute!

Great service, lots of flavors great prices! And try there party pack for the kids Birthday parties ! Was a hit especially in the summer

My 2018 Valentine was my sister. It was a multiple-event day. Bahama Bucks was a great mid-afternoon choice. As we approached BB, outside was an adorable little girl playing with the tiny umbrella palm tree. Instantly, we fell in love. Inside was busy with many types of couples sharing the Caribbean atmosphere and treats. The ice specialist had her hands full but I understand we were on island time. But it's worth the wait. I love that we can make the smoothies a bit lighter and boosts can be added. Delicious! My only suggestion is having more people working than one because its a busy place. Kudos!

Great service, great atmosphere, clean, friendly and definitely affordable. Great place to bring family , friends or even to meet the blind date. Lol. Right now you get two punches on your card instead of one because it's below 60 degrees.

This is my 1000th time coming to Bahama Bucks and I will Continue coming back. We came here to end my son's birthday week with a treat. We started off with a snowball fight with their sno 2 throw pack of 60 snowballs. Such a fun activity even though we lost. I'll keep coming back!

must have came on a bad day, we just left and the service was fast and friendly but my shaved ice was white in the middle and on the bottom and light everywhere else, even through I got the two cotton candy flavors. And all my toppings were missing except the nerds. My boyfriend got two lemon flavors which he said was alright. But for $15 and a tip to be missing paid toppings is crazy lol

I haven't been to a shaved ice shop in years and I am glad I decided on this place. There were about 50(probably way more) flavors to choose from. They also have smoothies! We decided on a cream soda shaved ice with cream and it didn't disappoint. It was the perfect combination. You could probably go to Bahamas Bucks every day for a year and never get the same combo, It's perfect for an after dinner family dessert.

This is a fun concept. We got the bomb pop, oreo, and coconut/pina colada drinks. They were refreshing, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. If you are lactose intolerant, please let them know before placing your order.

Great little place for shaved ice and sweet treats. Just moved in the area and wanted something sweet. This place had friendly staff and were helpful on what I wanted. My order was like magic jolly rancher with lemon, gummy bears, poppers, and cream.

We always love Bahama Bucks. We ordered through Grubhub last night to use their $10 off $30 coupon. We accidentally drove to the wrong location but we called to let them know we would be late and they kindly told us they would hold our order and made sure it didn't melt! Order was correct and the ice is always delicious! Don't skip on the Topic Creme or, try adding ice cream! We love their smoothies, too.

I normally love bahama bucks... however this store was not following COVID-19 precautions. All the tables were full of people (even though there were signs saying not to sit at the tables due to COVID-19), and the store was packed with people. Employees were not wearing masks.

Lindsey is incredible. She was so helpful with our order and made the most bomb shaved ice cone. Definitely recommend the place.

The best shaved ice you can get anywhere. PERIOD. This is a family favorite and they have a great reward (stamp card) program. You can almost always find a coupons for a better deal here. The owners are very kind and have helped with several fundraisers for good cause. I appreciate them for doing that.

This Bahama Bucks is so cute and trendy! My server & ice maker was Savannah H. and she was so kind at the register and when she brought out my shaved ice. This is one of my favorite dessert joints in Mesa! Great prices, GREAT WORKERS (shoutout Sav!), and the product is still the best part!!!

I randomly looked at my groupons today and realized that this one was expiring so we went for an after school treat. There are so many choices!! I got the strawberry cheesecake with ice cream on the bottom (would have been better without). My kids got root beer float and pink bubblegum. All with cream. They tasted exactly like you would think. I wish there had been some outdoor seating, maybe there is later into the season. When we got there it was pretty empty but filed up quick. All the kids working were really nice, probably the best customer service I have experienced from highschoolers. I overheard a lot of them making recommendations. I wish they had a sampler on the menu. There are so many flavors, it be nice to have an option to try five or so, in a smaller capacity. I was also impressed that the sugar free flavors are sweetened with stevia, and not that Splenda crap. I'll be back for sure...and i'll be getting the pickle juice flavor.

This place is simply awesome. I lived it. The menu and flavors for shaved ice are almost endless. It was great! Will definitely be returning. Just hope that the chain doesn't stop expanding looking forward to it maybe expanding to California. Great place. Very friendly and family oriented. Definitely recommend to anyone trying to not melt this summer.. Or evwn for a date.. Who knows. Its good.

How can this not be the perfect sno store? A crazy amount of flavors... huge sizes... soft sno... even cool color changing spoons! Highly recommend. Try the super sour flavors if you like a good sour lime like I do!

Kaylee and Raquel were amazing!! We had the Bomb pop, strawberry bliss and were even brave enough to try a sample of the Warhead super sour flavor that Raquel kindly offered! My family loves this place, we definitely recommend it to all!!

Absolutely delicious! A wonderful assortment of flavors and combinations! Fun and tasty for all ages! Be prepared to get messy and sticky though! Low priced for amazing treats and friendly staff! This is a really fun stop especially on a warm day after fun at a local park! Yum!

My family and I always go to Bahama Buck's whenever summer comes around. Everything there tastes so good and it never disappoints me. I have a sweet tooth so I usually get a shaved ice half and half of cherry and Pina colada with cream and it's literally so amazing. The staff was very friendly and and the lobby was always clean. Ordering was very easy and fast. There are tons of flavors to choose from and you can never get enough. It is savory and sweet and you can put any flavor you would like. The price is very affordable and it is super cute and trendy. I would totally recommend this place, especially going out with your friends and family. It's great going there during the summer. It's really so worth it. I can't wait to go there again and enjoy a fresh, refreshing shaved ice.

From the moment you walk through the doors you are greeted by the young, friendly staff. They are quick to answer any questions and offer suggestions. We took our two year old daughter and she enjoyed coloring while we waited for the drink to be made. My husband ordered a birthday cake with cream with scoop of halfsies (chocolate&vanilla) and let me say, everyone involved enjoyed. We could not finish the drink, we were in over our heads. The place offers MANY drink options, several board games, coloring for kids, and a fun little Bimini ring game. This place is a must try, stop in and say hello!!

My kids favorite place to get a treat. The ice is the best and they have the biggest variety of flavors I have ever seen. My kids love the sour patch kid flavor with sauce! Or birthday cake is another one you can't pass up! I personally like black cherry with cream!!!

Periodically we come to Bahama Bucks and the kids are awesome that work here. Dakota is a great example of hard work. Ben is working tonight along with Taylor. It's a shame that customers are so messy. When it's super busy cleanup after yourselves. However, these kids ho above and beyond to give you a pleasant experience. We will be back again and thanks for hiring such great young adults.
