Bahama Buck's - Rowlett

I go to this store everyday. Sometimes twice a day. I was not going to leave a review. But the owner has never reached out to me. It’s devastating I loved this place. But a bug in my ice. That I ate with no follow up. It’s very hurtful I’m a loyal customer. No one has reached out to me. I’m hurt I go everyday. I had to go the ER still no phone call. Edit. The owner Paul is extremely rude. He’s upset his employees didn’t properly clean. He said to never come back. Which is funny I’m already at another Bahama Bucks who would visit somewhere with bugs? Sachse location is much cleaner. He called me not knowing I was never planning to return. I get banned due to their bad service. Interesting. And also Paul yelled the entire time upset. Because I’m sick.

This is the third time I've ordered and requested extra sauce, I keep getting plain ice before ive eaten half of it. Do I need to order triple sauce? Im confused who is teaching to be stingy when making these. If I wanted plain ground ice I would have asked for no sauce or thrown ice cubes in a blender at home. Used to love these but the quality is garbage now. Shouldn't have to ask for extra, used to not have to anyway. Photo is after being charged for extra sauce.. dry

The ultimate place for a sweet icy treat when it's hot outside. My kids always get a snow cone but I prefer the smoothies. Plenty of flavors to choose from and the kids that work there are usually knowledgeable and nice. Give them a try and ake sure to get your punch card for a free treat when you rack up 10 punches. Don't worry you will be back!

So yummy! Our family likes to stop by after the park. Our five year old asks for Bahama Bucks almost daily lol can't wait to try more flavors.

I love Bahama Bucks in general, but at this location, some of the employees need to be retrained. We stood at the window for close to five minutes while they argued among themselves who should help us. Two were busy making snow cones, the one at the drive through was just standing there. She could have at least come over and said "we'll be right with you". We could actually see them arguing about it. So weird. We ended up just leaving.

Drinks were good; however, the price and service were awful! 4 drinks (2 regular and 2 large) was close to $30 and when I questioned the price and asked for a receipt I was told that receipt printer was broken. It took over 25 mins to get the 3 drinks we ordered and when we went to finally question where our 4th drink was the lady looked back in the computer and then apologized and said she would make it... we were here over 35 mins ‍ They don't have a restroom either. Sadly we won't be back

Did not pay attention to my order, while trying to explain I was constantly cut off and the guy at the window proceeded to roll his eye at me and shut the window in my face. Needless to say I will not be returning. The location in Sunnyvale is much better. It's surprising what can be accomplished when the workers have brain cells.

The Kokomoko was way too sweet. I hate maraschino cherries, idk why ppl keep adding those to drinks & desserts. They nasty. Anyway, the shaved ice is ranked in the following order: blue raspberry & green apple, mango with condensed milk, Oreo cookie sno. The green apple was sour, the combo definitely tasted like sour candy. The mango wuda been better w/o the condensed milk but my sister actually has a sweet tooth & she ain't complaining so I guess I shouldn't be either. Idk why in the word the Oreo cookie sno & the Kokomo was so sweet tho, esp since the latter is supposed to have dark chocolate.

I've never had an issue with this location. Cashiers are 50/50 friendly, there's quite a bit of parking (and a drive through), the snow cones come out quickly and my orders have been right every time I've ordered. My favorite so far!

if I could Id give them no stars! My kids wanted to try them, we waited over 1 hour for 2 snow cones. next day my other child wanted to try them, I walked in and only 1 person ahead of me ordering. still waited 50 minutes. they handed my my snow cone all watery and melted I asked if they forgot to hand me the cone and it melted the girl's response was "no you asked for extra creme so that's all crème" seriously the entire cup and her hand was covered in the syrup and still spilling over. GROSS!!!!!!

First time even coming to a Bahama Bucks. And it was for a friend. Glad she told me what she wanted bc that menu is overwhelming. They have a drive thru which is nice though the drive thru gal was less than helpful even after I told her the order and she had questions. Made me feel like sorry i haven't been here before. They charge by the cup size so when I asked them to put it up a cup size so it didn't melt all over my car it did make sense. But again sorry I haven't been here before. I'll stick with my delicious sonic slushy going forward. Thanks!!!

Delicious treats for sure! However we were in the drive thru line for 1 hour. It became very obvious walk up customers were being helped faster when twice someone behind us was served before we were. There was approximately 6 cars ahead of us when we arrived, from the the time we reached the ordering station to the pickup window, where we had to order again was no less than 20 minutes of the wait. No apology, explanation or even a coupon was offered until we questioned, "why an hour." Then it the response was, "ya, sorry we were short staffed." I tell you short staffed, badly managed, organized & terrible resolution. Why didn't we just leave you ask, well the drive thru is set up once you are in past the building and someone is behind you you can't get out- so add bad property planning as well. We are or possibly were punchcard members, did they offer an extra punch at least....no nothing! Have no plans to return, to this location. Not sure with so many ice cream options in the area if a sno treat is what we will desire again with warm sunny days ahead!!!

This location is very slow. I waited 45 mins yesterday. There were just 4 cars ahead of me. The service and product are good.

Not worth the wait or the money. Over priced and way over rated. Trying to visit forney texas. Not open yet. Didnt feel like going all the way to rockwall. Used to love this place. IM OVER IT

Very disappointed. On our way home from a visit and anticipating a long drive to downtown Dallas, we stopped for something cold. 2 snow cones with ice cream. After s long wait 5 cars in front of us, we received out order. I even asked the young lady at the window "this has ice cream, right?" She said yes. Well guess what!!! None. Also gave me s cup that looked like s big bite was taken out of it. Never again. I'll stick to the one on Preston.

Love this place! Took my kids here today and they were quick. Lines where short un drive throughout as well as outside

They don't honor the Bahama Bucks coupons we were given for Nurses week, but they benefit from the advertising benefits of the coupon because once your kids are there and ready for their product they've got ya. We won't be back.

I guess someone was eager to get out early... Rolled through the other night at 8:15 to order a smoothie. They informed me that they shut down the smoothie station to clean it & wouldn't be serving any more smoothies for the rest of the night. I asked what time they closed - 10PM. They shut down a significant portion of the menu items 2 hours before the store closes? C'mon guys, get it together!

I had the Wavebender smoothie and truly enjoyed it.

This location is constantly frequented by a man with a cane who tells you he has a beach house and locked himself out, needs a few bucks, can you spare some then sits by you when you say you don't have cash. Staff repeatedly let him hang out. At night there's a lot of bugs in the area and the lack of indoor seating makes it hard to enjoy. They are secluded with trees all around. Overall, visit during the day, with company, but not alone or at night. I've been here five times throughout several weeks. However, if you want to-go, they have CHAMOY for their snow cones unlike other locations and they actually do put enough syrup in.

We tried this place just the other night, we had three different types. Neither one of us liked it. The ice is not really shaved ice, it's almost like a blended ice. And the flavors are too sweet with a bad aftertaste. Will not be going again.

The amount of flavors available is down right ridiculous. They also have a sugar free options for anyone who is counting calories and they taste just as good as the sugar flavors. Bahama Bucks takes snow cones to a whole 'nother level. The variety of flavors, sizes, and the ability to mix and match different flavor combinations is a little overwhelming for your first few visits. Once you dial in on what you like it becomes much easier. It's not all snow cones either, the shakes and smoothies are off the charts as well! My favorite flavors are pickle ( yes it really tastes like dill pickle, and I'm weird enough to like it), super sour grape, piña colada, cream soda, and strawberry daiquiri. That should help you get started. Also, they sell snow balls. It's cheap, and a blast to throw at friends and family... Or even strangers if you aren't too shy!

I've been here plenty of times and it's usually decent flavor. I guess I'm spoiled by Gourmet Sno because today I tried the natural coconut and watermelon and it was seriously disgusting. It tasted like pure sugar water. I couldn't even tell which was coconut and which was watermelon, seriously! I took 3 bites since I paid $4 for a baby size and had to throw it away. Stick to the fake flavors because they don't know how to make the naturals.

It's a well known fact to anyone that grows up in Texas that sno cones are one of the best ways to beat the heat. You won't find a better sno cone than at Bahama Buck's. They're cold, sweet, and delicious. Need I say more?

Very nice tasty smoothies and other cool stuff. Really recommend you try it. 2 easy access location Rockwall and Rowlett. Very nice and friendly staff.

Everytime my family go here we wonder why we don't go often. My favorite is the vanilla ice cream topped with green apple snow cone.

Best place ever! Had a birthday cake snow cone with sprinkles today. Ice was nice(all light and fluffy) and the syrup was even through out no annoying dry spot in the ice. The umbrellas are darling. This is hands down my favorite BB location.

I've been coming a lot recently with the warm weather. I always get great service from a girl named nat, I'm guessing that's her nickname there. She always reminds me about this card they do to lead to a free one, I always forget ! Snow cones are yummy and there are a BUNCH of flavors.

Nat is an exceptional worker, I came in earlier this week and had a complicated order. She's super quick and so nice! I would recommend going here just to see her!

Had the Kokomoko Chocolate Smoothie. Wow!, very delicious.

Love this place. Their fruit smoothies are yummy! They are friendly and have speedy service which is nice in those hot summer months.

This place is really good. The flavor choices and taste makes this place great. I couldn't stop eating my ice cream and I usually don't even like Ice cream that much

Cheap, good flavors, and the Thin Ice sugar free flavors don't interfere with my diet. Low carb, low calorie, low fat, doesn't matter. It is 0 calorie, 0 carb, 0 fat. Love this place! I don't know how else you could survive a Texas summer.

Although the sno cones are amazing here the service is so slow. We wait forever every time. It's not even busy?!

Love this place! Never had something I didn't like. Shaved ice, smoothies, or their fresh squeezed lemonade - it's all delicious! Friendly and helpful staff! It's my go-to for a treat!

Love, love, love Bahama Bucks! Service has deteriorated, though, over the years. Apparently, 8:30pm is time to clock in your good attitude at Bahama Bucks. But the snow cones are the bomb!
