Excellent care for our dogs (two German Shepherds and one Malinos). They are very knowledgeable and they care about all animals. I would refer them to everyone that has a pet.

We’ve been bringing pups here for years and have always been very happy with the attention and care they provide. You can tell everyone genuinely loves animals. Just recently, a family member had to say goodbye to their sweet pooch, and the team here went out of their way to make us (and her) comfortable. They set us up under a big tree out back with a blanket so she didn’t have to go inside and could enjoy the sunshine, soft grass and a nice breeze. It was as peaceful as could be, and we’re thankful for that. I can only speak for our family’s pups, but we know they’re in good hands here.

Easy appointment for one of our cats that has decided to go outside now, so we got him examined and his vaccinations up to date. And they quickly forwarded the visit details by email when I couldn't remember all that I was told. The secret place for cat patients to chill out is pretty cool too.

Dr. Konvalinka was amazing. We went there originally because of Dr Tull but he was unavailable for our first visit. Dr. Konvalinka took lots of time to get to know us and our pet. He was thoughtful and thorough in his exam. He also discussed our pet's issues, rather than telling us. This came across as collaborative and welcoming rather than being spoken down to. The overall staff and the facilies was great too!

Oreo loves her visits to the vet. Great place with great people.

A kind, caring, & seemingly thorough team of professionals. The place smells so nice when you walk in. And the fact that they provide urgent care on the weekends is a blessing. - Thanks again, Dr. Rachel y'all!!

I can't say enough. Have used Dr Havene( retired ) Dr York and Dr Tull They all are very knowledgeable and patient with this crazy fur Mamma. Also just the whole staff goes above and beyond to answer questions and help. BB and Darla really are comfortable here.

I have been taking our fur babies here for the last 8 or so years and couldn’t imagine them going anywhere else. The doctors and staff are top notch, caring individuals!

Wonderful people and wonderful Vets. They tracked our dog through her final year of life. Worked with us on how to best treat our Bella as her condition worsened. Gave us many options on how to put her to sleep that was best for Bella and for us. The compassion that Dr. Konvalinka and his staff had was amazing at such a tough time for us. They took care of all the details. all the possibilities. We have had this Vet for the past 7years and would completely recommend them. We will be back whenever we are ready to get another pup. I'm sure there are other great vets around but you won't go wrong with this group.

Where, exactly, to begin? All things 'vet' are to be found at Bahama Road Veterinary Hospital. Add BEST VET, paws none! Kind and caring Staff, from the moment you and Fido step through the door, until you check-out at the end. We began at Bahama Vet almost 13 years ago, with (2) established dogs. Routine vet care until each passed, and then, the DRs and Staff could not have been more caring. Next round of family fur members -- a rescue checked-over head to toe -- and the addition of a puppy. Excellent care saw them through their entire lives. And so now, probably what will be our last two dogs, who joined us at 5 months, and the other at 8 weeks. Yes, we are certifiably 'crazy,' but it's a good kind of DOG crazy, and we couldn't see taking the Boys anywhere else. One a large breed, hunting dog. His brother, a terrier. Could not hope for better veterinary care for either one. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G vets, all of them!

The best place to go! The staff/doctors were amazing and made both me and my cat feel so comfortable and cared for. Unfortunately, my only visit here resulted in laying my cat to rest but I was so impressed and thankful for how passionate this hospital was. This place is not about taking your money, they are honest and provide the best help they can. 10/10 recommend this place!

Very disappointed in the effort to help a sick puppy. This Vet was recommended to me by a coworker. I recently purchased a mixed Shar Pei puppy, and upon bringing her home I noticed she had been scratching her ears quite a bit. Also noticed she was having difficulty sleeping at night. When I looked at her ears she had some dark spots. Through my knowledge and research it appeared she had ear mites. And knowing the shar pei breed and their reputation for very sensitive ears I wanted to get her into a vet and treated as soon as possible before she damages her ears. When calling this vet, seemed to have little concern to helping my puppy. Said they would cal me back and never did so. So I returned my call hours later only for them to tell me soonest she could be seen was in 3rd week of December. 8 weeks out! With having a 4 month old puppy and if she really did have ear mites there was no way that I would wait that long to have her seen.. I thought it was rediculous with the lack of concern and zero effort to get her in earlier or even return the phone call..

We will not go anywhere other than here! We had a dog with megaesophagus and they helped guide and treat her for months before she got really sick. Dr.heavner is amazing and took the extra step in her care and always treated us like it was his dog. I felt that my concerns were beyond met and they helped work with me to get her the care she need within my financial situation. Will always recommend them to anyone with pets.

In the past few weeks, I visited Bahama Road Vet with my older cat who had lost a lot of weight & had facial swelling. She ended up having an untreatable cancer. The staff was very helpful, discussing all my options, giving me medicine to help keep my cat comfortable, and when the time came, provided the best support possible. They were able to quickly fit us in when we knew the time had come and were very professional and compassionate.

They have been my vet for many years. I love dogs and have never had fewer than three, currently have nine. I've turned to an in vet service at Tractor Supply for routine vaccines as Bahama has become so busy. I understand taking on new clients to increase the revenue but not at the expense of your long time clients. I recently had an emergency with one of my dogs and was again turned away from Bahama because they were booked and couldn't work me in. I turned to the Emergency Vet and spent a small fortune. My dog was released 3 days later with the directive to return daily for bandage changes with an emergency charge each time. I reached out to Bahama again to ask if they could do the daily bandage change and was told there schedule was full and they didn't think they could work him in everyday. I'm disappointed that they now appear to put their bottom line above the care of animals. Booking so tightly that your unable to take emergencies or having to wait weeks for an appointment is not the vet I want treating my dog.

I've been taking my beast buddy Jake here since he was a pup, and can't imagine taking him anywhere else. They have a beautiful building on the corner of Bahama Road and North Roxboro Road (at the entrance to Bahama). The facilities are modern with a touch of country charm. It's a very comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The doctors are great! Jake has been seen by several of the doctors over the years and I have complete confidence that he received the best possible care available. The office staff is great too. They're always cheerful and ready to help us with whatever we need. Jake recently went in to get his teeth cleaned and to have a fatty mass removed from between his front legs. The cleaning and surgery went well. The staff gave us detailed instructions on the aftercare and followed up with a phone call a few days later to see how he was doing. I have nothing but praise for Bahama Road Veterinary Hospital. Take your beast there!

We have had 3 dogs to have visits here now and we absolutely love it. The ladies at the front desk and the Vet Techs are friendly and helpful. I always appreciate being fully informed--there is nothing more frustrating than having your dog poked and prodded without knowing why. We have seen 2 different vets (Dr. Hevener and Dr. York), and they have both been friendly and knowledgeable. It's always appreciated when Vets don't use scare tactics. Our older dog is now just a little overweight, (thanks to encouragement and a stricter plan has lost 13 pounds over the last year) but we once had a Dr. who told us if he didn't lose 30 pounds plus, he wouldn't be able to walk without excruciating pain past the age of 8. We came in today for check-ups, shots, and an initial visit for our newly adopted puppy. She was a shelter adoption, so was understandably nervous, but the entire staff greeted, petted, and gave her treats making her feel as comfortable as possible. Our other dog needs a couple of things biopsied, and Dr. York was so gentle, he stood there like a champ. I can't imagine going anywhere else for Vet care.

Best Vet in a long time. We were new to the area & called around for prices for our 6 animals. This was the first Vet that wanted to know more about our animals & it was the cheapest despite having a brand new center & so many vets. We love Dr. Perreault! She's great for all animals but has a special love for our Great Pyr.

I would like to update my review. I was upset that I could no longer buy my feline flea an tick meds without my cats being seen within a year. I have several ferals and cannot get them to a vet. I trusted Bahama for the flea /tick meds. Don't know how to care for these ferals now. Anyway one of Bahama 's staff explained why the problem and resolved it incredibly. I am so sorry for my negative review.

We currently have 4 furbabies that we take here and everyone is super super nice and helpful! The entire place is very clean, well organized and everyone knows what they are talking about. We've also taken other animals there over the years and have always been treated with nothing but kindness and respect!

My dog Mickey has been a client here for over 13 years. All of their employees are friendly and great. Mickey usually sees Dr. Konvalinka and he is fantastic. Mickey has lived a very long life thanks to being under Dr. K's guidance. We currently live in Charlotte and continue to bring Mickey back to Bahama because we trust them to the fullest. They also have the most exceptional admin staff here- Kim & Desirae are wonderful!

I highly recommend Bahama Road Veterinary Hospital. My dog had to undergo an unexpected surgery with a lengthy recovery time. Dr. Hevener, as well as the other Veterinarians and technicians who assisted in Sampson's care, were very compassionate and took time to discuss all our options. The receptionsit were very friendly and accommodating to my many phone calls with questions throughout Sam's recovery. Sampson enjoyed all the special treatment and TLC he received from everyone at Bahama Road Vet. Thank you for your outstanding service!!

top notch! over the years i had the pleasure to deal with all, or at least most of the vets. they are all wonderful and provide many different areas of expertise. they correctly diagnosed the cause to an issue with my dog, which was overlooked by the emergency hospital and promptly made arrangements to get this taken care of by vsh. at my last appointment i've had the pleasure to work with the newest addition, dr. cocchiaro, who seems very detail oriented, and was thoughtful enough to make a chart of each bump or skin tag on my dog, in order to biopsy the existing ones and better track any future ones.
