Came here with my new coworkers and everything was on point! I ordered the 1-star Phad Thai with prawns—rich, savory, and full of flavor without being too spicy. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the prawns were fresh and tender. My colleague let me sneak two bites of the garlic chicken... and let me tell you, I will 100% be back for a full plate of that next time. The atmosphere is sleek and modern, with a digital menu via QR code that made ordering a breeze. Everyone’s food looked incredible—especially the fried rice with salmon and sticky rice sides. Service was warm and efficient. A delicious and stylish spot worth returning to!

Every dish that we tried here was super delicious! Great food quality, friendly and alert staff. Truly had a wonderful experience. Worth every penny! The fried ice cream was amazing tasted like ice cream inside a crispy waffle 😍 Ps: pad Thai is not one of my favorite cuisine but after trying the food here my thoughts are changed due to the well balanced flavors and sweetness along with perfect spice, I’m in love with the pad Thai food 🥰 Highly recommend this restaurant.

What a great place! Wonderful atmosphere, awesome staff! Lin and Astri took care of us and made sure our every want was taken care of with smiles and really pleasant demeanor. The food was great, of course. Yellow curry, red curry, the awesome Thai Curry Puffs. Delicious! Then there was the Fearless cocktails and the Banana Fritters with Coconut Ice Cream. ♥️ Will come again next time I'm in Seattle! Have included some photos.

I wish I had a second stomach so I could have eaten more food, and tried more dishes. The food was EXCELLENT and incredibly flavorful. Every bite was an explosion of intense flavors with such depth that I could still taste it after I left. Highly recommend! The drinks are fantastic, too! My only complaint is we couldn’t take home the adorable piñata, who I named Tony. We will be back! Pictured below: Tony the Piñata with drink, Beef Salad, and Pork Belly with Rice.

5 Stars – Fantastic Thai Food and Excellent Service. I had a great experience at Bai Tong Thai Street Cafe in Seattle. The service was friendly and attentive from start to finish, and the food absolutely lived up to the hype. We ordered the Crispy Garlic Chicken, Pad Thai, and Panang Curry—every dish was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The crispy garlic chicken was especially memorable with its crunch and bold flavor. Definitely a spot I’d return to and recommend to anyone craving authentic Thai street food vibe .

Spoiled tofu passed off as “fermented”? Unacceptable I rarely leave one-star reviews, but this experience was honestly unacceptable. I ordered the tofu pad thai, and the tofu had a clearly sour off taste. They claimed the tofu was fermented, as someone who is Asian and very familiar with fermented tofu, I found that explanation both inaccurate and offensive. And yes, IT MADE US SICK. Everyone in our group had stomach issues after the meal. Fermented tofu comes in specific forms like stinky tofu, red fermented tofu or Chinese style preserved tofu. These have distinct textures, colors, and flavors, none of which matched what was served! THIS WAS CLEARLY TOFU THAT HAD GONE BAD, NOT SOMETHING INTENTIONALLY FERMENTED. I returned the dish after just a few bites and received a refund, which I appreciated. However, trying to pass off spoiled food as “fermented” felt like a careless and frankly insulting excuse. It was upsetting to be dismissed like that instead of the issue being acknowledged properly. The other dishes were okay, but this left a seriously bad impression. If something is off, just admit it and take responsibility. I really hope the restaurant takes this as a wake-up call to review its food safety and staff training.

Google
Bai Tong has the best special cocktail drinks that are so creative and delicious. We got the Fearless, Lover and Enchanted special cocktails and they are SMOOTH. Presentation on point, if you love sweet drinks you must try this!! Also, the coconut dessert was sooooo good, really fresh fruit and the coconut ice cream was refreshing.

Whenever I want to eat Thai food and feel like I’m back home in Thailand, I think of Baithong. The food is excellent, and I love the special dishes they feature each month. The hospitality is outstanding, and the drinks are delicious with a great variety. I don’t drink alcohol, but the manager is so kind and always makes a mocktail version just for me. Truly amazing!

Yelp
We visited this restaurant on a Friday to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, and we had an absolute blast! The food was a huge hit with everyone. One of our friends couldn't stop raving about the crispy fried chicken--she was completely obsessed and kept going back for more! It was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. We also ordered the papaya salad, which was wonderfully fresh and vibrant, with a perfect balance of tangy, spicy, and sweet. The Tom Yum soup was another favorite--so aromatic with the perfect level of spice and a rich, flavorful broth that had us all hooked. We didn't stop there, though! We also tried the Pad Thai, which was stir-fried to perfection with just the right amount of sweetness and a nice kick. The green curry was creamy and full of flavor, with tender chunks of chicken and vegetables in a rich coconut milk sauce that we couldn't get enough of. And, of course, the sticky rice was the perfect side to complement all the flavorful dishes. Now, let's talk about the drinks! The presentation of each drink was straight out of a fairy tale--gorgeous, colorful, and whimsical. Not only did they look amazing, but they tasted just as good, adding a magical touch to our meal. We all felt like royalty when the drinks were served--definitely a highlight of the evening! This place is perfect for a birthday celebration. They blasted cheerful birthday music, and all the servers came over to celebrate with us, making the night even more special. The energy and attention to detail really made all of us feel so happy and appreciated. The service was exceptional, too. Even though we had a group of 10, one server handled everything with ease, taking all our orders quickly and accurately. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. I highly recommend this spot for any special occasion, especially birthdays--it truly made the celebration memorable for all of us.

Yelp
This is a solid Thai restaurant. Their best dishes are the pad Thai and their curry's. My go to at other restaurants is Pad Khi Mao, but I don't think it's very good here- just okay. The prices are pretty high compared to other's, but I understand given the area. My biggest issue is that they serve curry without rice. You have to pay an additional $4. And Curry can't be eaten without rice! So, for a curry dish, you're paying $30- that's ridiculous. The service is okay-Not great or bad. The restaurant is very clean and has a cute, relaxed vibe. If you don't mind the price gouging, and are in the area, it IS a solid restaurant. I just personally avoid eating here for the reasons I mentioned unless it's happy hour.

Yelp
Food is good and the drinks, especially the Harry Potter themed ones, are fun-- the Albus Dumbledore is kind of ordinary but the Boozy Butterbeer drew wide eyes and big smiles when it showed up. Service is quite good and the vibe, complete with a row of somewhat elevated tables that seat up to 6 or so each, is dark and modern. Fried chicken, pad thai, pad see ew, beef appetizer, all did the trick. Perhaps a tad too much sauce with the pad thai but that's a minor complaint. Bathroom are downstairs so keep that in mind if you have small children who like to run around.

Yelp
My first time visiting this location. I like the holiday and Harry Potter decorations. Service was good, my toddler was excited about seeing the robot deliver the dishes to the table. Dishes we tried: +Kao Man Gai with half steamed and half fried chicken (4 stars) - steamed chicken was tender, but can use a bit more flavor. Fried chicken was good but nothing special. The ginger and sweet & spicy dipping sauces are definitely the star, I used up both and asked for more! +BBQ Pork and Cripsy Pork Belly with Egg Noodles (3.5 stars) - with asked for 4/5 spicy, and they definitely put a ton of chili flakes in the noodle. The BBQ pork was a bit dry, especially paired with the noodle. You have to have the flavorful soup. I enjoyed the crispy pork belly more. +Gai Hor Bai Toey aka chicken wrapped in pandan leaf and fried (3.5 stars) - tender chicken, I'm not a big fan of the sweet dipping sauce though. Overall, it's a solid choice for Thai food in the Cap Hill area, with some unique dishes that are not seen often.

Yelp
One of my favorite Thai restaurants in WA! Bai Tong in Capitol Hill is a truly unique experience, they always have fun seasonal decor & specials! Wonderful service from staff! Also easily able to reserve a table or join waitlist on Yelp! Even with lots of limited dishes and drinks, their staple staple menu items are the best!! Always have to get their Pad Thai!! I tried a few other dishes that are also really good: Deep Fried Pork belly over Rice and the Crispy Mussel Pancake! The cocktails here are also perfect! Can't wait to come dine again!

Yelp
Cool dining area with pretty good food. We all got crispy pork belly. Mom's version was the one over rice with the Chinese broccoli and that one had the best sauce amongst the three of our dishes. Sis tried the one served with a fried egg over rice and she really liked it, but the sauce was too spicy for me. I got the crispy pork belly with bbq pork over rice and it was fine. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad becuse the bbq pork was a little light on flavor. We also tried the desserts and mom's black sticky rice pudding was really good. My fried ice cream was okay, but I prefer it when it's made when it's coated with corn flakes rather than the thick dough they served it with. The service was good. The waiters were constantly clearing plates and checking in on us, so no complaints there.

Yelp
The ambience was nice with great wide booths but not a lot of privacy pending on where you're sitting. I think the restaurant is a fair price for the quality of food. I got the pad Thai and seasonal ramen noodles and it was yummy but nothing spectacular. Our waiter was very nice and tentative and I would go back if I was in capital hill.

Yelp
Went here and we had tried to get a reservation online just incase we had to wait but they ended up being sold out until 2:30 but we were hungry, decided to just go and check it out and I would say about 1/3 of the restaurant was being used. The service was super nice and friendly and the place was decorated very nicely. The pad Thai was good and the hot pot soup was really good, I knew that the soup came with instant noodles but for 26 bucks I guess we expected more to explain the cost. Would try it again, heard they're good for cocktails.

Yelp
Let's start with parking. You're in Seattle. It's street parking. That should say it all. The restaurant itself had excellent food service excellent and the restaurant has sort of a Harry Potter theme for fall through winter only The restaurant is good for groups. They have very long tables. Food came out hot and soups remain heated on your table. We were able to walk in without a reservation on a Sunday night and we seated immediately.

Yelp
Went to Bai Tong Thai Street Cafe for lunch, and we are definitely coming back! We ordered a Kao Mun Gai and a boat noodle with pork, and both dishes were incredible. The Kao Mun Gai was perfectly tender and juicy, with jasmine rice that complemented the flavors so well. The dipping sauce was authentic, and the only downside is the soup that came with the dish was slightly too salty for my taste. The boat noodle with pork was rich and flavorful, with pork pieces, meatballs, and a broth that was deeply satisfying. We had this with one spice level, while it was mild, the taste and the texture were perfectly balanced. The atmosphere of the cafe felt cozy and cute, and there were Halloween / Harry Potter-themed decorations all over. Service was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good time with authentic Thai food!
google avatar

Ali L.

Yelp
Loved the mango sticky rice! Good vegetarian options too. The pad Thai was pretty good. But the drinks are way over priced. A nice atmosphere and the service was very nice. Parking is always a pain in this area, but other than that the location is convenient.
google avatar

Naomi L.

Yelp
Service was amazing. Everyone was super nice and patient so that is why it gets 4 stars. Food wise, I'd give it a 3. It'll satisfy your cravings but the flavor was not the most authentic thai food I've had. It was a bit lacking in the traditional punches of flavor usually offered in thai food, with most dishes tasting either too sweet or too concentrated on one flavor. I don't think I'd recommend this place to friends but the service remains memorable.

Yelp
Everything we had was delicious! The seasonal desserts were really cool and fun to try One of our favorite Thai restaurants in Seattle The seasonal Harry Potter decorations made me happy
google avatar

Yelp
Really nice service and warm atmosphere! We were impressed and excited by the combination of standard thai-american items available and more unique regional items. We decided to ball out for crab fried rice and had it with the panang curry. Portions sizes were good, but a little light on the protein. Not the cheapest but with the quality, atmosphere and service, we felt it was worth it. Very good experience overall and would gladly come back to try other items.

Yelp
Ambience. A Service. A Food. A Price. A+. (Happy Hour 2-5:00 pm M- F) Found in center of Capitol Hill on corner Pike and 12th. Only street parking available. Staff always friendly and greeting and helping with menu choices. I love Happy Hour M-F 2:00-5:00. IN BaR area ONLY. Today was pad Thai with fried tofu $11. The noodles were perfectly stir fried with nice chewiness to rice noodles and flavorful sauce. And the Red curry $9.50 with soft tofu was beautifully balanced spicy and the balance of coconut sweetness complimented this dish. .. 3 stars spiciness on request , albeit, I still ask for more spice , fish sauce and vinegar on side. I've never been disappointed when eating here. I'm a FaN!!!

Yelp
Bai Tong offers a fun eating experience that you can't get anywhere else! Right now they have a Harry Potter theme and everything was just so creative and fun! I got their Pad Thai which was super delicious. Even though the parking is quite bad in this area, you can't really complain because you're in Cap Hill. This would be my go to Thai restaurant if I lived closer! Definitely come here for a good time, or for lunch because their happy hour is AMAZING!
google avatar

Rebecca Q.

Yelp
Came here for the Halloween Harry Potter menu and it did not disappoint!! Absolutely loved the presentation of the Hedwig and Luna Lovegood cocktails. Our server was dressed in her Hogwarts robes and was so attentive as well. Also enjoyed the tom yum soup, which made me very full for a decent $19. Had Harry Potter music playing in the background and also robots bringing out dishes.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been here multiple times for a reason! Not only is the food good but the vibrant atmosphere and the kind and helpful staff makes it even better. I love that you can pick the spicy level (1-5) of the food, service is quick, and the portions are generous. I usually share dishes when I come here due to the size. High recommend trying this spot!
google avatar

Yelp
My aunt gifted me 2 gift cards for Bai Tong and I finally cashed out for a yummmmmy meal. We ordered basil crispy pork over rice, curry puffs, beef salad, northern Thai sausages, and bua loy for dessert. Medium spice here (3 stars) is more on the mild side but had a kick in the beef salad dressing. Everything came out hot hot hot and quick. I really liked the service here. In the heart of Capital Hill, the gayborhood of Seattle. The staff is very energetic and they bring out the whole crew with sparklers to sing happy birthday as well
google avatar

Melanie G.

Yelp
Very beautiful restaurant with very kind staff and great food! I got the pad see ew with tofu with spice level 2. Since I got it with tofu, they asked if egg was okay or not too. It came out super hot and fresh! Noodles are on the softer side, veggies are fresh and theirs is saucier compared to other pad see ews. Their tofu seems to be more grilled than fried, I just wish they gave a bit more. Overall, a great and very flavorful dish!
google avatar

Yelp
There are way too many Thai restaurants in Cap Hill, but Bai Tong really stands out as one with the best food, service, and ambiance. I came here for the first time for a co-worker's birthday and the restaurant went ALL OUT for the celebration. They blasted happy birthday music, held up multiple happy birthday banner around our table, and popped a ton of confetti everywhere. It was such a fun experience and really made you feel like a main character. Their food is also solid. Tofu pad see ew is my go-to thai comfort food and the one at Bai Tong did not disappoint. This place is more expensive than your average Thai restaurants, but for the good vibes and delicious food, I think it's totally worth it.

Yelp
Value for Money: 4/5 Taste:5/5 Service:5/5 Ambiance:4/5 I recently visited Bai Tong Thai Street Cafe, and it was definitely worth it! We tried the butter beer, a cocktail inspired by Harry Potter, and it was fantastic. It's an exact replica of the one from Disneyland but with a touch of vodka - absolutely perfect. The crispy spring rolls were also amazing, perfectly cooked and delicious. We tried the cashew nut stir fry with veggies and chicken, which was good, but something was missing. It could have been better with a bit more flavor. The red curry and Pad Thai were spot on, no complaints there. The service and ambiance were also good, making it a very good place overall. This place is also great if you want to celebrate your friend's birthday. They play loud birthday music, and everyone starts to vibe to it, making it a fun experience, honestly. Overall, I'm definitely visiting this place again. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
The ambiance is perfect for a cozy date night! It's modern, inviting, and just the right amount of lively. We tried the spring rolls, beef, and steak dishes, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were bold and authentic, with each dish perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the wonderful experience. I would dare say it was comparable to the Thai food I had in Thailand!
google avatar

Connie S.

Yelp
Got a curry, pad see ew, and a chicken dish. Everything was so good. Be warned, we went with the medium spice level and it definitely builds up! I'm glad we didn't go with a higher level. While we were there, it was someone's birthday and my goodness... I've never seen such a celebration from the staff members.
google avatar

Alfred L.

Yelp
Starting off the review mentioning the fact that this establishment had an "OK" food safety rating posted on the door (This translated to a 2/4 in the numerical scale). Not sure why though because the interior was fairly clean. We ordered the salmon fried rice, pad sei-lew, crispy garlic chicken, pad thai. The fried rice portion was HUGE, easily enough for two meals. But the salmon on top of the rice was small, wasn't very good, and quite dry. I ordered a medium spicy but it hardly seemed spicy. The pad thai and pad sei-lew was flavorful, one of the better pad thais I've had. (I ordered no bean sprouts). The crispy garlic chicken was surprisingly sweet. It had a nice glaze and wasn't too oily.
google avatar

Athena N.

Yelp
The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is exceptional! The staff is incredibly kind and efficient, with our food arriving promptly after we ordered. The atmosphere inside is warm and inviting, with nicely arranged tables and decor that add to the overall vibe. The only minor downside is that the bathroom is located downstairs, which can be a bit inconvenient.
google avatar

Kristin H.

Yelp
Bai Tong is a great spot if you're looking for an experience while also craving Thai food. We went during their Harry Potter event and it was cute seeing all their staff in robes and the restaurant's setting decorated to look like a scene from the movies. The Avada Kedavra drink was so so good - delightfully fruity while not skimping on the booze. No complaints about the crab wontons or entrees either - both were delicious and flavorful. The food is a bit on the pricier side, so you are paying for the service here in terms of value. The wait staff were excellent and attentive, and their little scene when bringing out the cocktail was a great touch. Would come again on occasion!

Yelp
I really enjoyed this place. We came for my boyfriend's birthday and it was amazing. Parking is so tough, so try to Uber or find another mode of transportation especially on the weekends. We came in at 7p on a Friday and got our food really quick. I got the panang curry and my boyfriend got the pad thai. For an appetizer we shared the egg rolls and for dessert we shared the coconut ice cream. I really was craving mango sticky rice, but since it's seasonal they didn't have it available. We also got a to go order of pad thai and everything came out to a little over $100 before tip. Service was extremely quick and some dishes came out on a little robot. My curry was soooo flavorful and tasted pretty authentic. Love the ambiance inside as well, nice mood lighting and very intimate. Will be back!
google avatar

Elaine W.

Yelp
Really good curry puffs and chicken rice here! We came on a Saturday for lunch and it was pretty empty, but the food is great. I enjoyed my chicken rice a lot -- the chicken was pretty tender for the most part, with a few pieces at the end being slightly dry. My partner ordered the crispy BBQ pork with egg noodles and rice and really liked that as well! I think the curry puff was probably my favorite though, so I would definitely recommend that as an appetizer. For dessert, we also ordered mango sticky rice which was delicious!
google avatar

Gwen M.

Yelp
Oh my gosh I love Baitong Thai- it's so fun. The vibes are good, the music is so silly and the food is really good and the drinks are very stylized and delicious. If you are looking for silly fun times this is the place. Also the inside is really nice and a great place for a date
google avatar

Yelp
Bai Tong is a large Thai restaurant in Capital Hill. It feels more like a sports bar trying to cater to college students than an elegant and sophisticated dining room worth visiting amongst so many shining stars on the hill. They always have a "themed" cocktail menu (Barbie, Harry Potter) and craft absurdly over-the top drinks that pop, whizz, bubble, and are often accompanied with some sort of prop (Barbie's sports car, a wizard's broom, etc.). Their cocktails range from $20-$25. The food is inconsistent. It always looks good, but the taste of the dishes is unpredictable, save for the standard Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, etc., that I recommend if you're going to dine here. The Tom Yum Soup was way too sweet for my taste. The crab Rangoons we liked. The service varies and the "robot" server following staff around the room felt so out of place. The bathrooms were in poor shape last time we visited.

Yelp
We randomly picked this place off Yelp based on reviews and were so shocked in a good way. The food, atmosphere and service is amazing!

Yelp
Harry Potter & Happy Hour - What Could Be Better? Stopped in for a late lunch and loved the quirky Harry Potter decorations! It definitely made the atmosphere more fun and memorable. Though we were not seated at the bar, they allowed us to order from their happy hour menu that is of excellent value! We started with the fresh BBQ pork and prawn rolls, paired nicely with peanut sauce. For mains, the crispy garlic chicken was flavorful but a bit too sweet for my liking, although the fried basil and peppers did help balance it out. The red curry was rich in flavor and texture, and the chicken was very tender. Though, the portion of rice that accompanied both dishes was not large enough for the amount of the entree. Service was quick and attentive - they checked in on us frequently, promptly cleared plates, and kept our water filled. Overall, this is a fantastic choice if you are in the neighborhood!

Yelp
So happy I found this spot! While in Seattle I really wanted to find a unique place to sit and enjoy great food and that exactly what I found. Gorgeous inside and phenomenal food you can't really go wrong. It's not far from parking so not a lot of walking is required. We got seated immediately but did have to wait more than usual for our server ultimately I can't complain because as I ordered the food it came out in less than five minutes I swear that's the fastest I've ever been served. We ordered some different drinks from their currently Harry Potter themed menu, crab wontons, yellow curry with chicken, pad sei-lew with beef, and for dessert bua Loy. Only complaint was that I wish I ordered more so I had leftovers. This spot was phenomenal I will be back next time I'm out in Seattle.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this Thai restaurant and Im glad I ended coming here. We got their pad Thai and I really enjoyed it. The food was fresh and the pad Thai was on the sweeter side. We also got their larb, which was pretty good too. Unfortunately it didn't come with sticky rice so you had to buy it on the side. The service was good. The food was made quickly and the servers were helpful. The price of the menu was decent. It has a lot of cool dishes that I want try. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice. It was nicely decorated and had some cool designs

Yelp
I'm visiting Seattle for a few days, and I wanted to try a new Thai place for dinner. This location has many great reviews, I know why now. My two friends joined and we loved this place! The ambience was so cute. A Harry Potter theme with Owls and decor. Overhead heating for those trying to escape the cold. The food was fantastic. We ordered Pad Sui Ew, Thai beef fried rice, spring rolls and Green Curry. The service was outstanding, they were kind and attentive. Parking in the parking structure was a bit pricey, at $25.

Yelp
Dropped by with a friend for a late, quick meal and the place delivered. She's vegan and had plenty of options, I'm not and did as well. I had a green curry with beef and the food came out quick. The curry was rich and well seasoned, but I didn't care for the beef strips which were a little tough- would order a different protein next time. Solid option for a Thai fix in cap hill

Yelp
Always a treat to eat at Bai Tong Thai Street Cafe in Capital Hill. Service is fantastic always! The vibe is super cool- and the food is delicious!! Highly recommend the Crispy Garlic Chicken!
google avatar

Becca S.

Yelp
Good thai food, very pricey. The garlic chicken is okay but it does not come close to Buddha Ruksa or Krungthep. The Massaman curry is good a bit sweet but very good. The highlight is as the ginger rice, it was so goof!It is all good just not worth finding parking and the price. They also played the entire Cher Christmas album in order while I was there which was super weird. I also wish they had better chili sauce options. Many Thai places usually have a quartet of sauce options with paste, oil, flake, and chili fish. But here it was a small togo container of sambal olek. The bathroom was also very far from the restaurant so just keep that in mind. They don't have wifi and when I asked for the password they told me no.

Yelp
Flavorful food. Warm atmosphere and quite busy. Met expectations, slightly on the pricier side.

Yelp
A great place to come celebrate something special! A friend and I visited wanting to get dinner and a drink and they delivered. While we were here the celebrated an engagement party and a couple birthdays. The did THE MOST for these celebrations. They brought out a banner and signs and had confetti poppers to make it special. They also changed the music to go along with the celebration. I thought it was all super cute! The drinks were very yummy and we got one of the Harry Potter themed drink which was so cute and came with a little chocolate and jelly beans :). The Tom Yum soup was good and comforting on a cold night. The prices were a little high, but as a more "upscale" place it was justified. I had a great time and would definitely come back, especially to celebrate something special!

Yelp
Came here around 6pm on a Sunday night and was seated right away. The restaurant has a very nice vibe. Has a lot of nice decorations and has a little robot delivering food. We ordered after browsing the menu a bit and the food came out really fast! I ordered the pad khi mao. The waiter told me that ordering 3 stars would make me sweat, so I ordered the 2 stars. This was not spicy at all so I was a bit disappointed since this dish is advertised as spicy as well. Overall the dish was pretty average. It did not taste that spectacular. I have had better thai food. My friend ordered the bbq pork & crispy pork belly with egg noodles 1 star and I tried some and it was alright. It was kind of too salty for me. Personally my experience here was quite average and this place seems a bit overhyped. The vibe of the restaurant is definitely nice though so if you want to prioritize the ambiance over the food, would check this place out.

Yelp
It's been too long since my last visit to Bai Tong Thai Street Cafe, but I'm glad I returned to find an expanded menu with new options. Food/ beverage: We took advantage of their daily happy hour until 6 pm, enjoying flavorful dishes like the Tom Yum noodle soup. The Harry Potty cocktails stole the show: $19.95 for four, they're a fantastic deal and the boozy butterscotch beer was my personal favorite. Customer Service: The staff at Bai Tong were so friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond with a surprise mini birthday celebration for our friend, complete with signs and a sparkler on a fried ice cream dessert. Ambiance: Bai Tong Thai Street Cafe offers a great atmosphere for any occasion. What a gem in Capitol Hill!

Yelp
We had amazing takeout from here. The flavor of the salmon garlic fried rice was perfect and exactly what I had been craving. I liked the rice a lot more than the fish. The salmon felt a bit dry and hard, unfortunately. But the rice and moistness of the rice totally made up for it. I ate almost all of my takeout portion in the first sitting, saving just some of the salmon for leftovers. They were efficient and helped me when I went to pick up my order after ordering online for carryout. The huge door opens onto the hostess stand at the left and you have to cross over to the front right of the restaurant for pickup. The decor was very luxurious and chic and modern. It looked like it would be a very cool place to spend an evening, though the huge windows and strange layout did not make it seem particularly intimate. Either way, I would definitely order from here again and try out their huge variety of menu items!

Yelp
We visited Bai Tong Thai in December and they had the restaurant decorated with Harry Potter paraphernalia which was fun to see as a Potterhead myself. Their HP themed drinks were cute and very sweet! The food was your standard Thai fare. We ordered the crispy garlic chicken, pad see ew and Thai green curry none of which disappointed. The portions are large and certainly meant to be eaten family style so bring some friends!

Yelp
We don't come to Seattle very often but we were there for my son's performance. We met some friends here for an early dinner and although the outside streets are not the greatest, the inside of Bai Tong was clean and designed very nicely. It's a great place for a family dinner or even a date night. We ordered the Panang Curry, Pad See Ew, Crab Rangoons, spring rolls, and the crispy garlic chicken. Every thing was seasoned well and was very tasty down to the sauces that came with the rangoons and spring rolls. I also ordered the Thai Iced Coffee which was really good. Not too sweet and not too bitter. It was a great meal. Our server was really nice and made good recommendations. The food came quickly and was really hot. They also came to check on us several times which was nice. I highly recommend this location. Definitely on my list.

Yelp
Came in really excited to try this place. Staff was dressed in authentic pants. Ordered our food and within 5 minutes we got our food. Really fast service. I had asked if I could get crispy tofu in my pad Thai and staff said that it was already cooked a certain way. That's no wonder food was out so quickly. My pad Thai was a little too sweet and not spicy at all. The rice springs rolls we ordered were very chewy and hard to eat. My friend ordered a Thai noodle soup and she did not enjoy the taste. We left hungry and disappointed.

Yelp
Amazing food and solid Thai restaurant! My husband and I were craving some good Thai food and this hit the spot. It also had great service, they came and helped us constantly and asked if we needed anything. They even had a couple parties going on in the restaurant which added a very lively vibe! They came and sang to a bride to be and for someone's birthday, which I thought was very thoughtful!

Yelp
Had a solid experience coming here on Harry Potter night! I came with a party of 3 and although we didn't have a reservation we were seated immediately. We a ordered a few different things: Spring Rolls - just as you would expect and a great crunch and flavor. Accompanying sauce was good too. Crispy pork belly - very very good. I love pork belly and the pepper vinegar mix was excellent. Pad Thai - a traditional staple dish with excellent flavor and spice. Tom Kah Soup - my girlfriend loved this too! Creamy flavor with the coconut and bamboo shoots. Crispy Garlic Chicken - this one was ok but somewhat mushy. Probably the only dish I wasn't a huge fan of as the crunch and as missing. Overall I enjoyed the meal. The service was good and the food came out quickly. Total was about $120 incl tax and tip.
