Boring, small, uninteresting. This place is smaller than most houses with an even smaller collection. It’ll take you 10 minutes to view everything. Not worth the money unless you just want to donate it. Just go to the local galleries that have way more interesting pieces

The museum itself is very small but we were there during the festif and enjoyed a 360 experience with contrebasses (25 of them!) it was just a wonderful and emotional experience. Just for that I really thanks the domaine du forget and the museum for their collaboration!

A surprisingly large collection of Chagall litho. Friendly and informed staff lays out what you are about to view.

A nice place for art lovers. Not too big but nicely done. Loved Lafontaine fables by Chagall

Wonderful exhibits, easy to get to and explore at your own pace. Loved the Jean-Paul Riopelle exhibit that featured other contemporary artists and the exhibit about Baie-Saint-Paul. If you don't speak French, the latter is bilingual. There is free parking on site.

Unexpectedly nice museum. Highly recommended!

The strangest thing is that museum and galleries in Baie St Paul depend on tourists and yet this has been closed since we arrived many days ago. and even the little gift shop is closed. It should not take this long to hang a show.

Yelp
For a small town, the Baie Saint Paul Museum of Contemporary Art is quite remarkable. There is a large installation gallery space the size of a school gymnasium that featured a beautiful display of art. In the basement there is a permanent gallery that features Charlevoix art and history including a moving projector display summarizing some notable local artists. Upstairs is a rotating gallery. On the second floor, there is a nice history of the museum itself including the original plans and photos of all the work that went into making this institution a reality. If you are in the area and like art this museum is worth a stop.
