Legendary Omani 🇴🇲 food spot in the heart of Muscat. Located to the opposite of Mutrah corniche and in 150 year old heritage building. If you want to experience omani hospitality , You should try their amazing food also. Then bookmark this place in your next Oman Trip. You wont regret it Must try item is Omani Shuwa, unfortunately we just tried Dajaj Makboos. It was very good Basically it is an upscale restaurant, a tourist attraction so you need to expect price factor. Mostly westerners and locals are their patrons. We visited this restaurant at Mutrah for dinner we didn't reserve any table so had to wait for 20 mins then we got a table. This restaurant is busy during dinner time better to reserve your table before hand. we ordered shuwa and it was excellent, taste of mutton was really good it was a different experience for me as I was trying shuwa for the first time. Service was great, ambience is cool, this restaurant can accomodate big groups as well. There's balcony dining available overlooking the sea but you need to reserve a balcony table. Definitely worth the wait, must try in Muscat

Located at the end of the beautiful Corniche, very close to the Fish roundabout and just a few hundred meters away from the the souk, this restaurant is a must go if you're in Muscat. It offers a good service, high quality food and allows you to discover the local omani cuisine. We've tried the lobster and the traditional lamb recipe from Oman, both were excellent. Oh, and the thin bread they serve there is absolutely to die for!

We ordered the date palm shake, tamarind shake, sambusa (meat samosas), katchori (potato patties), manshab (tuna in a coconut milk broth), Poplla (seafood soup), Shuwa (slow cooked lamb with Qabuli rice), and the Bait Al Luban (date cheesecake). The date palm shake and sambusa were really good. The katchori could have had a bit more flavor. The Poplla (seafood soup) was more of a soupy lentils with rice. The rest of the dishes were okay

We had a wonderful experience here. The ambiance is very pleasant and relaxing. During lunchtime, it was peacefully quiet, not crowded at all. The highlight was the stunning sea view. The food was absolutely excellent, so good that we dug in immediately and forgot to take good pics! I highly recommend this place and will certainly return.

Delicious. We loved okra stew and the eggplant cloud (eggplants w/ garlic yogurt). For shuwa, lamb was yum but rice could have been more aromatic in my opinion. Reservation is highly recommended for dinner.

This lovely restaurant is in a famous old tourist area. It has a great view, beautiful décor, and very friendly staff. You can really enjoy the feeling of Omani hospitality here. I’m not a big fan of seafood, but this was the best seafood I’ve ever had! The fish and shrimp in the stew were so fresh and full of flavor. The other dishes were also delicious and high quality. I truly enjoyed the whole experience.

Simply if your from the gulf region you will hate it If you are from western country u will like it.. Below average food The shorbat adas 1/5 Shorbat laham 1.5/5 Pakora 4/5 Shuwa 2/5 Omani chicken sandwich. (-5)/ 5 Sabar drink dont even think about it
