Bait Maryam - Dubai

We discovered this place completely by chance. To be honest, I was a bit hesitant when I first visited and didn’t have very high expectations. However, after trying the food, my opinion completely changed. We liked it so much that we went back several times and even brought our friends, who enjoyed it just as much as we did. The flavors are very well suited to the Turkish palate, and the food is truly delicious. They offer a unique version of beyti, which is especially worth trying if you like eggplant. The dishes are satisfying yet not heavy, with well-balanced flavors. We also had the chance to try their breakfast, but it is not as rich or varied as a traditional Turkish breakfast. Nevertheless, the place is ideal for dinner. The restaurant is generally clean, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff are very attentive and friendly. It has a warm and comfortable environment where you can enjoy your meal and spend time peacefully. Overall, it is a place we were very satisfied with in terms of both taste and service, and one we would gladly visit again.

This is a good restaurant but I wouldn't consider it very special. I can get this quality of Lebanese food in London or Asia quite easily. We had the lamb shank, batatas haras, muhammara, tabbouleh, shish tawook, and I had a mint lemonade. Everything is good in terms of food, but nothing very special. The chicken was a little dry and the lamb was not very flavourful. The batatas haras was probably the best dish. Service was good. As it has been in almost every restaurant we've visited in Dubai

From the moment the dishes arrived, it was clear that this place takes pride in authenticity and quality. We started with a beautiful spread of mezze, and every item stood out in its own way. The hummus was silky smooth, perfectly balanced with olive oil and tahini, while the creamy, rich texture made it one of the best I’ve had in Dubai. The baba ghanoush was smoky and deeply flavorful, capturing that authentic charred aubergine taste that is often missing elsewhere. The muhammara was bold, slightly spicy, and nutty, adding a lovely contrast to the rest of the platter. Freshly baked bread accompanied the mezze, soft and warm, making every bite comforting and satisfying. The lamp chops were the true highlight of the meal. Cooked to perfection, they were tender, juicy, and beautifully seasoned. Each bite was packed with flavor, with the meat practically falling off the bone. They were served alongside well-prepared sides that complemented the dish without overpowering it. The balance of spices and grilling technique really showcased the kitchen’s mastery over traditional Levantine flavors. We also tried a grilled chicken platter served with golden fries, pickles, garlic sauce, and fresh salad. The chicken was moist, lightly charred, and seasoned just right. The fries were crisp on the outside and fluffy inside, perfect for dipping into the creamy garlic sauce. Even the pickles and fresh herbs added a refreshing crunch that tied the plate together beautifully. What truly elevates Bait Maryam is how every dish feels honest and thoughtfully prepared. There is nothing overly commercial or artificial about the food—it feels home-style, nostalgic, and deeply rooted in tradition. The presentation is elegant yet simple, allowing the food to speak for itself. The ambiance is calm, welcoming, and tastefully designed, making it ideal for both relaxed family meals and quiet dinners with friends. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, adding to the overall experience. Bait Maryam is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic Levantine cuisine done right. It’s the kind of place you leave feeling satisfied, comforted, and already planning your next visit. Truly deserving of five stars.

I recently visited Bait Maryam, and it turned out to be one of the best Lebanese dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the place felt warm, authentic, and full of heart — just like a true Levantine home. The food was outstanding. Every dish was rich in flavor, beautifully prepared, and tasted incredibly fresh. You can genuinely feel the passion and love that goes into their cooking. It’s rare to find a place that balances authenticity with such high quality, but Bait Maryam does it effortlessly. Service was friendly, caring, and attentive without being intrusive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for real Lebanese cuisine with soul, this is the place. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be returning!

Excellent atmosphere and outstanding service. Lijjo took such good care and explained the dishes and ingredients so well. Enjoyed all the dishes. The zaatar Cheese spread was different and good. The Fatet Maryam with chicken doused with of combination of sumac, herbs, yoghurt and olive oil was very different and something I have not tried before and delicious. The Kabab Maryam lived to its reputation and was exceptional. Overall, there are so many dishes on the menu that we have not seen before and we want to come back and try again! #wewilldefinitelybeback

We had lunch here recently and the food is worth the hype. We had the Maryam salad, sujuk, lamb shank and Maryam kebab. Everything was excellent, lamb shank was tender and falling off the bone, the rice it came with had a delicious flavour. Portions are very generous so this was more than enough for 2 people and we had to take left overs home. The restaurant is clean and airy, the toilets were also nice and clean. Highly recommend and we will be back to try out the rest of the menu.

A casual and homey dining experience at this Michelin-rated Bib Gourmand restaurant in the heart of Jumeirah Lake Towers, which provides warm Arabic hospitality by their outstanding staff, Jerome and Liza, who were our hosts/hostesses, along with the support of another staff member, Cathy. They were accommodating and highly customer service-orientated employees, and they should be acknowledged for this matter. The restaurant offers delicious homestyle Levantine cuisine, as we tried the highly recommended & best-selling dishes, such as Fatet Musakhan, Fatoush, the tasty fresh grilled mixed kebab, and finally ends with a cheesy and delicious Kunafa Kheshne. Truly, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I will definitely come back and try other dishes as well. Bayt Mariam is truly one of the best places to try in Dubai. When I asked the manager, Basel, about the secret behind their amazing food, he simply said, “We cook with love.” And you can genuinely taste that in every dish. Their Shish Taouk is an absolute must try it’s their star dish and definitely lives up to the reputation. A special mention to Mazin, the waiter, who was extremely helpful and made the experience even better. The restaurant is also beautifully located, with outdoor seating right by the lake, making it one of the nicest spots to visit in Dubai. If you want it shorter or more emotional, I can do that too!
