"Brother’s Crawfish is the first of two similar restaurants in the area, and it serves everything from Cajun-style seafood to teriyaki chicken and rice. Its counterpart is My Sister’s Crawfish II, in Worcester, and they both have spicy seafood on the menu. Order it by the pound and pick your seasoning. (My Sister’s Crawfish II also serves pho and other Vietnamese staples.)" - Dana Hatic

Like many reviewers said it's a good idea, but in practice? Not so much. First I want to say the fisherman's platter that I got was too salty! And this is coming from someone who loves well seasoned food. Also the seafood itself wasn't' fresh. You can tell by the smell of it. It was very fishy and lingered for several days in my car after I purchased the food. I also didn't like the fries either. They tasted like they had been refried a few times. But there are some positives. The ideas implemented in this establishment are very good I think if they tone down the salt a little and change the fries they'll be on their way to the top!

Fresh and tasty seafood (both live and cooked). Stop by if you can. Recommended

Delicious and very friendly staff. The breading on the fish was just divine and the portion sizes were very large for the price. I would definitely go back!

First time here. Fish has no taste, Onion ring sour (one of them), Shrimp was good, Scallops were good. The Calamari was chewy but good, if I air fry them & it taste better tomorrow I’ll update my rating otherwise I give them a 3; because I see the potential. Another thing the cashier is NICE & PATIENT. You might think she’s rude bc she says “what” when you ask her something but it maybe a language barrier.

I wasn't expecting that the food was so good here. Good amount of seafood in the plate I recommend this place if you in Dorchester. I got Salt and Spicy Shrimp $16 and fishermen's plate $23.

First time ordering today and will certainly be the last. $65 bucks wasted on two plates of seafood and some chicken wings. Chicken wings were mediocre as expected but had the salt and pepper seasoning I requested so ended up being the highlight of the meal. My husband and I also ordered the oyster plate and a fish, shrimp and clam belly plate. Both came looking half empty and the indistinguishable seafood tasted like cold, possibly reheated, corn meal fried hard. Both the quality and quantity left us very underwhelmed and hungry.

I ordered a sandwich. The sandwich, taste like the fish been sitting for a while. They don’t take time to follow directions. I said NO MAYO and they put Mayo on there. I also found a hard shell piece from a lobster in my sandwich. Not worth the price. THIS WILL BE MY LAST TIME ORDERING FROM THEM. 😡😡😡😡

The idea is good, and to the best of my knowledge, there is nothing similar in the area. However, if you think of English fish and chips, it is nothing like it. It looks like Chinese-style deep fried. And it probably is. It also comes with the most sorry coleslaw side ever made. Although it didn't meet my expectations, it was not terrible and I will be going again, because, as I said there is no competition around.
