Mailyn is the absolute sweetest. I knew we would choose BakeBar from the moment we walked into their adorable shop. The tasting was super unique - she had a special box with the cake flavors dressed as cupcakes. We fell in love with her chocolate cake and she made us a special oreo buttercream for our wedding day. Our cake came out stunning.

We ordered their Honey Cake for my sister's baby shower. Both the design and taste were PERFECT! I highly recommend Bake Bar!

Beautiful ig, but terrible attitude on the phone. They don't have a courtesy email letting customers know that they are on vacation. I took my business somewhere else.

Best cake in Miami

Heard many good things about this cake shop and decided to give it a try and ordered a custom cake for my wife's birthday. One of the most popular and unique flavors is their honey cake which had a nice creamy exterior and two macaroons placed on top. The cake was very fresh and had a nice moist texture, the flavor was good but I expected more of a honey flavored taste.

Excellent cakes! The designs are absolutely gorgeous and the taste is even better! I was honestly surprised because usually if the cake is beautiful in decor it won't taste good but the cake I had for my baby shower was DELICIOUS! It was red velvet with butter cream frosting it was SO moist and tasty. I can't even begin to tell you how many people asked me who made the cake and say how delicious it was. The flowers were REAL and the perfect touch. I will def use this company again for my next event. Custom cakes are expensive but this cake was totally worth every penny. They also offer delivery (fee applies) but this made my life much easier on my special day.

I do so many different things for clients on any given day and most of it is done remotely so, finding great places on Yelp has been a God send. I read reviews for 6 places before finding Bake Bar. 7 is my favorite number so it means a lot that I found this bakery on my 7th bakery review read. Picture it: Your client tells you - I need a cake sent to someone special in Miami. I need it to arrive before they leave for the day on Wednesday (the next day). Price is a non factor, if you cant find someone, I will just buy cupcakes. Keep in mind your client is in Ohio and you don't live in Miami. I called and Mailyn was were incredible! She helped manage my expectations with regard to time frame and made the cake look exceptional! Thank you so much and I will make sure that I order my cakes from you in the future!

My whole family loves Bake Bar and Mailyn! All the cakes she has made for us have been exceptional. She has an incredible variety of flavors and combinations. Recently I posted a picture of the lemon elderflower cake she made for my sister's birthday. The flavor was perfection and the decoration with colorful fresh flowers was beautiful! You can taste the difference when quality ingredients are used, without compromising market competitiveness and value. Mailyn always is the constant professional and always focused on making your your idea or dream a reality. I'm excited she's making the cake for my youngest daughter's wedding in December at the Biltmore.

Mailyn is one of a kind. She has been making cakes for all our family events for 3 years now, so it was no surprise we wanted her to make our wedding cake. We tried all of her delicious flavors but ultimately decided on our favorite, her marble rum. She designed the perfect cake for us to cut and packaged boxed pieces for our guests to take home. Not only that, two weeks before the wedding, we realized we needed about 100 more servings. No problem for Mailyn. She didn't even flinch! People are still raving about how delicious our cake was and we couldn't be more grateful for her!

Bake Bar has made countless cakes for my family and me over the years and they are a superior cake shop. Not only are her cakes delicious, but the work in decorations that the owner Mailyn puts into her cakes is a true work of art. We always trust her with design ideas and have never been disappointed. Furthermore, my husband has a food allergy and she graciously makes the cakes special for him as needed. The best!

Great cake, tasted great. I was a little disappointed in the flowers weren't very good that they used. They were wilted and looked a little old.

Amazing falls short to what they do at bake bar. Maylin and her team are all wonderful and accommodating to what you need and want. They help you through the process and make themselves available. I have been left in awe of the art they create and the flavors are out of this world! The sponge of the cake is moist and remains moist even after a few days of having cut the cake. I did the lemon sponge with raspberry filling for my birthday party. It was delicious and all of my guests enjoyed it.

Mailyn (Bake Bar) did the cake for my bridal shower and my wedding and will will do my cake for every other event I ever have, seriously! I am counting down the days until my birthday in October just so I have an excuse to order another cake from her. They are delicious. I was under the impression no one ate the cake at weddings, so, I was surprised to hear so many wonder compliments from our guests about how delicious the cake was. Every one ate it! I spoke to a number of bakers (5 total), all are really well known in the Miami area, and Mailyn's cakes were not on the best, but also the most fairly priced. Besides her delicious sweet treats her customer service is wonderful. She is a pleasure to work with and wants to make your event as special as possible. I would not hesitate to reach out to bake bar for any celebration cakes you may need. You will not be disappointed!!
