Absolutely to die for. My husband asked what kind of cake I wanted for my birthday and I love anything s’mores so he placed a custom order here and from the presentation of the cake to finally digging in OMG. The cake is excellently moist and dense and with all of the right flavors combined. From the marshmallow meringue to the graham crackers crumbles to the biscoff frosting in the middle and the fudge on top. So well done. By far my favorite cake, thank you so much

They have made the pies for my holidays, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. They have made every cake for my family since we moved to this beautiful city 5 years ago.The cake designs have gotten complicated as my son gets older, but Amy's has been able to preserve the delicious flavor and have done all the crazy designs we've asked for.

Super disappointing experience as a returning custom cupcake customer. They cancelled my custom 20-piece cupcake order the day before my daughter’s bday party due to not having a credit card on file, very much to my surprise. I promptly called the instant the email hit my inbox, card in hand ready to pay in full but they refused my business, offered no useful recourse (just apologized and offered to do it 3 days after my event). I offered to simplify the design, I was willing to pay cash, I begged. I asked to speak to the manager and of course was told the person I was speaking to who had no useful solution and was completely inflexible was the manager. In addition, I initiated the order 5 days prior to the event and had extensive communications with Amy’s over email on design, flavors, etc. no one asked for payment info, shared payment policy, or notified me that my order was in jeopardy of cancellation. I was only asked to “call at my earliest convenience to finalize”. And the day I did call, they left the bakery early (I called at 1:30, they close at 2). they tried me once the following day but I was working and unable to answer. So, in the end, with only 24 hours I was unable to place a custom order anywhere. My daughter asked why Amy’s made her brother’s dragon cupcakes but they won’t do her unicorn ones :( I will never use Amy’s again and would never recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely impressed! I had a rush order for a surprise 50th birthday party for my partner. Not only was the response quick, but the customer service was wonderful. And THE CAKE WAS PERFECT! Everyone was fighting over who got to take the rest of the cake home. Truly one of the best cakes I have had. Thank you to the wonderful staff and bakers who made the day so special!

LOVE this place. Each day there is a new flavor cupcake, and they are consistently delicious. My favorites are the chocolate and regular Tres Leches cupcakes, but I'm almost always confident in any choice. The only one I would not recommend is anything with the Oreo icing topping- great in theory, but too rich for my taste. I haven't tried any other of their bakery because the cupcakes are so killer that they are the only thing on my brain when I enter the store. Also, they do 2 cupcakes for $5 on Fridays and also have a loyalty card!!

Yum. I love to go into this place and just order a cupcake. Their flavors are unique and fresh, but recently I ordered a dirt cake cupcake and I wasn't super impressed. It tasted more dry and like something I could bake at home. I would stick with the refreshing fruity flavors (like lemon rosemary mmmm) that are more unique and probably avoid most of the chocolates, unless it is something really special. Overall, super tasty! And on Fridays you can get 2 cupcakes for $5!

Super friendly staff and delicious treats make a winning combination. The macarons are crisp on the outside with a nice chew to the interior. The flavors change and never disappoint. The filled cupcakes are a nice surprise. They also did a fabulous job on a wedding shower cake that we ordered. It was perfect.

Such an amazing bakery! The best part is that you actually feel like you're paying for quality. It's not overpriced dense cake with no flavor and poorly decorated. Their cupcakes are beautiful to look at and they give an even more beautiful feeling when you take a bite!!

I have ordered two custom cakes from Baked by Amy's, and both came out beautiful and delicious. I've yet to experiment too much with their flavors (although I hope to soon), only opting for the Mexican Vanilla cake with buttercream icing. For the second cake I ordered, I added pastry cream in the middle and it was superior. The staff are the nicest people in the world as well, I feel so happy to have found a bakery near me that I can rely on!

We used to go to the old location and we've had the cupcakes and the thres leches cake, which I ordered for my boyfriends birthday one time, and it was delicious and moist. So of course for my birthday I wanted a cake from BAKED. Looking at their instagram I saw a strawberry thres leches cake and I knew I wanted that for my special day to share with friends and family. When the cake arrived I was so disappointed. The cake was falling over. They charge $5 for each succulent and I wanted one. They looked like bushes instead of succulents. The cake was DRY! It's a thres leches cake. Only the middle portion of the cake was moist. We should have just ordered a cake from HEB.

I wanted to gift my coworkers with a little holiday treat! I sent an email over to Baked with all my order. They emailed me back with confirmation. Showed up Monday night and my order was waiting for me. I loved the fact that these shortbread cookies were individually wrapped. Which made them perfect to pass out to the coworkers. I made sure to have Christmas trees and also snowmen to add a little variety to the cookies. I received many compliments on how cute they were and how delicious they tasted. I was very satisfied with my order and I will order again soon!

First, Second, and Third impressions matter a lot. Whether you get to know a place by trying it 3 times, trying a particular item 3 times, or persistently receiving some reminder 3+ times to get your butt in the door...Baked by Amy's will instantly let you know you're in the right place. Who knew about Amy's Icecream branching out with a cupcake/bakery counterpart? The last time I checked cupcakes being a "thing", was for some kid in your class having a birthday you semi-cared about. It was a win-win if the kid was your buddy and their cupcakes were good, but other than that, it wasn't the grand prize of full-on cake & candles. Baked by Amy's has a simplicity and irresistible grace towards capturing the essence of particular flavors and giving it back as a cupcake. You can have your cupcake, and eat it too! [My List] 1.Boston Creme Pie: 5/5- Stellar, Stunning, Marriage Material. 2.Tres Leche: 3.8/5- It tasted like a Tres Leche! What else is there to say! 3.Triple Chocolate Brownie: 3.9/5- Wow & Wow. Decadent, indulging, the 'forbidden fruit' of cupcakes. Resist temptation if you must chocolate-lovers. 4.Mexican Vanilla: 3.0/5- Didn't feel it. Didn't translate well for me from icecream flavor to cupcake. Stick with the icecream version. 5. Choc strawberry/Oreo strawberry: 2.9/5- Honestly, couldn't' tell them apart because felt both were a little odd-tasting. Not even another stick of butter could save it. My impression of these cupcakes is like that old tootsie roll commercial 'how many licks does it take to get to the center of the tootsie pop?' Its like what I was saying at the beginning of how many times until you really know. Baked by Amy's took...'a ONE'....'a TWO'.....'a THA-REE!!'...for me. How many times will it take for YOU? The world may never know.

I love Amy's. I love the Austin-ness of it, the unique flavors, the weird hats (depending on location), the awesome "catch a scoop!" game (depending on location) and all the awesome people you meet. So when Amy's stepped into the bakery game - you BET I was going to be there. The interior is fun - decked with beautiful cupcakes, cake pops, macarons, cookies, bars, and cakes. I really enjoyed the huge black board at the back of the store and the high bar-stool seating - super pinterest-chic! We showed up at the end of the day (rookie mistake for a bakery) so unfortunately, our cupcakes were a bit dryer than they had probably been that morning. So, while I didn't particularly enjoy my cupcake, I'm going to chalk it up to showing up a few minutes before close, and try again earlier in the day to give a better review. However, the cake balls/pops/whateveryoucallems? Amazing. Highly recommended. Moist, dreamy and a hit - I took a box of them to a party I was headed to, and they did NOT make it through the night. Can't wait to go back and try more stuff!

Love that Baked by Amy's is now on Ubereats! Their chocolate cupcakes with brownie bits are the best thing to order from bed on a Sunday morning. The gingerbread cookies are also moist and have just the right amount of icing/sprinkle application to compliment the cookie. I still maintain that the shortbread cookies would be 100x better if they were not saturated with thick, chalky icing. I know they look beautiful and are quirky, but please add an offering where the shortbread shine on their own.

Came here after dinner to grab some dessert, and this time decided to get a cookie and some macarons. The person grabbing the macarons crushed 4 of them before being able to get me two suitable ones. The cookie is where it didn't leave me impressed. I got a sugar cookie and for the price you pay for the cookie I would hope it would taste much better. It greased out in the bag and was inedible when I brought it home. I love Amy's Ice Cream and I really want to love this place but every time I come here it always leaves me less impressed.

....There aren't enough good things I can say about this place. You need to try their cupcakes, stat! We came in here the other day because I saw an ad in the local newspaper for Baked and I was totally sold based on their cute logo (go ahead, judge me). Their storefront was as cute as their logo and the staff is as sweet as their baked goods. The girl who helped us came from behind the counter to give us the grand tour of cupcakes, talk about great customer service :) Some of the cupcakes they had that day were the tres leches, chocolate tres leches, Boston cream pie, Reese's, lemon blueberry, chocolate mint, and lots more that I can't even remember. Their macaroons looked amazing and their cookies are HUGE. We ended up walking away with a tres leches (one of the top sellers) and a Reese's cupcake. They wrapped up our cakes in a gorgeous box and tied it with a bow - so professional. Some advice for those who take these cupcakes on the road - make sure you have a utensil to eat them with because they're large, in charge, and destined to get your face ooey-gooey if you dive face first into it. The tres leches had beautiful berries on top with a light whipped cream. The cupcake was soaked with condensed milk goodness and had a wonderful berry filling. Much more than I could ever expect from a cupcake - it blew me away!! The Reese's was so chocolatey and peanut buttery... the richness of the cake was unbelievable and the crumbled Reese's on top brought it all together. Needless to say, I left that place in awe of its amazing tasting baked goods and their wonderful service. Baked, you will see me very soon and I hope all my fellow Yelpers will follow suit!

I feel I missed the memo on this one. Definitely a bonus star for being a bright, cheery, and colorful venue, but the cupcakes here just didn't speak to me. When I bite into a dessert, I've got to hear angels sing and shit. Of course it's all subjective: The lemon/blueberry thing was a little too cream-cheesy for me, and the Mexican Vanilla was simply very white. Nothing wrong with that. I always proclaim Amy's as the best ice cream around town, but I've had better cupcakes in Austin. So be it.

Im not a big fan of sweet stuff but their cupcakes... omg... SO GOOD...!!! Seriously, I dont like sweet stuff like chocolate, candy, cookie, ice cream, sweet tea or even soda... but when I tried their cupcakes...I dunno its different from cheap, normal, walmart branded quality cupcakes. Their cupcakes are so fresh with full of cream(not icing. Real cream) and so moisty. U gotta try it!!!

In a world flooded with mediocre cupcakes, the cupcakes at Baked By Amy's are superb, high quality delights! I this wonderful bakery was not on my radar until I saw it featured on the local news this week. As luck would have it I was getting my haircut nearby today and decided to pop in. Wonderful selection of amazing looking cakes, cookies, and of course cupcakes. It looks like they also do a lot of custom work too. My Mexican Vanilla cupcake was excellent. I couldn't resist the Hot Fudge Cupcake (see photo) too. I can't wait to return!

Amy's baked is located in Northwest Austin next to the Amy's ice cream location. Oh yeah, it is also located next to I Fly. I like to come here on Fridays to get 2 cupcakes for five dollars. This is also a great place to come for amazing handcrafted original cakes. Check out the pictures I took of their Halloween cakes. The area is open and you can see them making the cakes by hand. Sometimes it is very hard to find parking. I actually park at the main event and hike through the back area when I am desperate for a cupcake, macaroon, or brownie. I'm just updating this review on November 20. Amy's bake is amazing as they are getting ready for the holiday season. I was going to snap a picture of their cakes but now they have pies. I still stand by my five star review.

This place is adorable! Hidden next to Amys ice cream is baked by amys! We run an Airbnb and like to leave little gifts for ours guests, I came for the Austin shortbread cookies. They're massive for the price, double the size I thought they'd be an individually packaged and so cute! I grabbed 2 of those for our guests and then 2 cupcakes for my boyfriend and myself. Not sure of what the cupcake I had was meant to be but it was a white cake that almost tasted like a snicker doodle, it was light and fluffy not dense or overly buttery the frosting was creamy and not overly sweet and it was stuffed with fresh strawberries. Yum! One of the better cupcakes I've ever had, you don't feel gross after eating it. They had samples of rice crispy treats at the register which were super good and the entire place smelt of fresh baked brownies. Will 100% be back!

We both came to the conclusion on the 2 star review..Speaks for itself....We have had better...Now the flavors were good, but the cupcakes were dry, very dry and actually crumbled...would be No way to pick this up and eat is...well, not with out a mess...looking at the menu, I cant even find the ones we bought...Im sure they do daily flavors, but can seam to match them up...So...we had a Blueberry Lemon, S'mores, and a Blondie...Like we said all were good in flavor, but the Cake just didn't make the cut..

I was craving a chocolate cake or brownie and didn't want to settle for a treat from a chain restaurant. Found this place, but almost ended up at Amys ice cream next door. Again I wanted chocolate but everything looked so tempting and delicious I had to limit myself. I ended up with the chocolate tres leche which was yummy! Had a moist bottom and strawberry filling (you WILL need a fork for this cupcake!) And I tried my husbands carrot cake. I always love a great carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Next time I'm in town, I will be returning! !

This place is right next to my work so I go there quite often. I've tried just about every cupcake and cookie they have and they are all delicious. The staff is super friendly as well. I've come in a few times and they haven't had the one I was craving that day (Peanut Butter cupcake) so they've made it and called me the following day and told me they made it just for me. Since they are owned by Amy's ice cream, their cupcake concept is similar to Amy's ice cream concept. They switch out the flavors daily, so if there's one you want to try, you better get it right away.

The dark chocolate cake (last minute buy for my sisters anniversary) was amazing. The cake I heard is made with organic ingredients and it was very rich. A lot of chocolate cakes usually leave an after taste which feels synthetic, but this cake did not have any of that aftertaste which was a pleasant surprise. I think the cake was a triple chocolate cake. Overall a good experience.

I'm torn on what rating to give. I previously had given it a low rating bc they messed up my order and a few cupcakes were dry and not very good... but I decided I needed to bump it up bc I continue to order from this place over and over again for a reason. They're usually delicious cupcakes and the staff is always really friendly.

This place was THE JAM when they were up north! It was a great place to hit up after dinner for something sweet. The tres leches cupcakes are amazing! Even had a custom cake made there for my husband's birthday. But since they moved they're only open 10-2pm which means I can no longer treat myself after work hours. Let me tell you, I miss that option so much! I wish they would keep later hours again! If you're lucky enough not to have a day job, go treat yo self!

Everything here is cute and adorable and perfect and wonderful. Yummy cupcakes and Austintatious cookies- what more do you people want? Seriously the perfect treat for your sugar tooth or a perfect gift for a home sick Texan. "i love you so much" Baked by Amy's!

Its my birthday today and I really wanted Boston Cream Pie. I haven't had much luck finding a place that had them. I googled "where to find Boston cream pie" Then this glorious bakery popped up. I love Amy's icecream, so I was surprised I'd never heard of this place. I was SUPER excited that they had Boston Cream Pie cupcakes! They are filled with delicious whipped cream and vanilla custard or pudding. Of course because of my birthday, calories don't count, so I had to get a Strawberry Shortcake and Snickers cupcake too ;-) The shortcake brought back childhood memories. The icing was so light with just the right amount of sweetness. The cake reminded me a sort of angel food/light pound cake. The best part was the filling. So good. I also got a Snickers cupcake and a Snickerdoodle cookie for my hubby. Haven't tried them yet, but they look delicious

Strawberry shortcake cupcake. That's all you need to know. Ok, well maybe there's more. This is such a cute place to get your sugar fill! Great customer service as well. From cupcakes, macaroons, cookies, cake balls and bars (rice crispy treats and brownies) there's something for every dessert enthusiast. I recommend sticking to the fruit flavored cup cakes over anything vanilla or chocolate. The strawberry short cake has a jam or preserved in the middle and overall is much more moist than their vanilla almond, peanut butter and chocolate cakes. The macaroons here are HUGE. Way bigger than most places I've seen in Austin. For $2 a piece it's a good deal. My only complaint is that some of the actual cookie can be a bit on the crunchy side rather than a soft crisp. Pro-tip: Fridays are 2 cupcakes for $5 verses the regular price of $3 each.

I love having this place so close to my house! All the cookies and cakes are beautifully done, affordable, and tasty. Also, the inside is clean and inviting! On this particular day, my friends and I went in for cake balls and cupcakes and we got free cookies! Free anything sounds good to me! Such a good place to go when you just want to treat yourself!

This place would be 4 stars based on their decor & lemonberry cupcake alone. But I didn't want to give a review until after I had come back again & tried some more goodies. Came in on a Saturday night & finally got that toffee cookie I've been eyeing. $2. HUGE, but there was something lacking. I can't quite figure out what it was, but it was not the toffee cookie I dreamed of. I took it home and actually couldn't even finish it. It wasn't bad.. just not GREAT, aka not worth the calories. Macaron- I can confirm what other reviewers have said. It's not right. It's hollow on the inside & extra-crispy on the outside. The chocolate ganache was fine. BUT definitely not done right. Not chewy. Doesn't satisfy. HOWEVER- I still am a fan of their lemonberry cupcake! It was delicious. Cream cheese icing always gets me! It was moist, had a lemon filling & topped with fresh blueberries. Even my husband who doesn't care for desserts had to have half of mine. I'll be back.. but probably for cupcakes only!

I want to like this place because I love Amy's Ice Cream! Unfortunately the cupcakes I got tonight were nothing to write home about. I went in because I got 2 gift certificates for a free cupcake. When I got there I was very disappointed with the selection. They only had 6 flavors of cupcakes to choose from, plus a couple of other non cupcake items. I ended up getting a boston cream pie, rice crispy and a tres leche cupcake. The cupcakes were very dry and the flavor of the cupcakes was only in the icing. The desserts were unsatisfying and I'm glad two of them were free. I do have to say the service was excellent. The girl who helped me was very friendly.

The more I eat cupcakes, the more I realize I suck at eating them. I had the s'mores cupcake. It almost beat the one I had in Los Angeles from the cupcake ATM. I was really delighted with it but it totally crumbled in my hands and got everywhere. This says two things. The cupcakes are moist and you should put in a bib. I had a couple if their macarons and this is why they only get 4 stars. I see that many places are trying to get into the macaron game. Macarons are one of the hardest cookies to make. This is why in my mind, if they aren't coming out right, don't sell them. Go perfect your method. These macarons looked good, tasted good but the cookie left something to be desired. The cookie was crunchy. The majority if the cookie was a big air bubble that made the macaroon just crumble in your hand when eating. Overall, stay for the cupcakes, not the macarons.

This needs to be a bigger thing right now! I got 3 cupcakes and 2 cookies. All we're terrific. Best was the lemon blueberry swirl. So good. Do you hear me Amy?!?!

My major issue had to do with hygiene. Both of the cupcakes we ordered were picked out with the cashier's bare hands. The first one, her hand ran into the case on the way out, causing it to touch the cupcake. With the second one, she actually got some frosting from my cupcake onto her finger. At $3.50 per cupcake, you can use gloves or wash your hands right before. The cupcake itself tasted pretty well (I had Mexican vanilla). The frosting is a bit heavy but overall it was good. Would've given one more star had it not been for the way the cashier handled the cupcakes.

Love this place! The baked goodies are always fresh and delicious and the staff is super nice. Whenever we stop in for a box of cupcakes, we always try whatever they have available on the shelf and we've never ever been disappointed. The cake is always moist and fluffy and the icing is never overly sweet. My personal fave is the tres leches. Baked by Amy's was also the baker for my wedding cake and they did a fantastic job from start to finish. They even gave me a free cake on my first anniversary - equally as delicious.

Amy's macaroons are to die for. Had several during the Austin Food and Wine festival and fell in love with macaroons. The have the best taste and texture of a macaroon I've ever had. I wished they shipped to VA.

They did an amazing job on my husband's 30th birthday cake. It definitely exceeded my expectations and it was a huge hit with our guests.

First off I want to start by saying we'd gotten cupcakes here a few times and they were so good we trusted them with our wedding cake. Mistake 1. I scouted their Instagram, screen shotting a pic they had posted of a cake they did, which is also displayed in a picture in their shop. I showed that picture as well as just changing the bottom color from teal to black which the baker at the shop said was definitely doable. When we picked up our cake the flowers were not painted on like in the picture but were iced and super sloppy, I told her I did not want iced flowers. I promised my husband I would not stress our day Bc I wanted to really enjoy and not have that mess put a damper on our day. Mistake 2 I should've never accepted the cake. The girl who originally rung us up I guess did not file the order correctly Bc the girl we picked up from tried to charge us again until I had to tell her uhmm no we already paid. The prices in their shop would've made our cake about $70 plus a $15 art fee, however if they have to stack them in tiers they charge another $30 Bc it's for an occasion. Now let's get to the actual cake.... not only was the art super sloppy and not exactly what we asked for that THEY had previously done but the cake was crumbly, I don't know when they baked it but it had to have been in the fridge at least a day. Not moist, so dry we shared one piece and would prefer to not even give it to others. Our 12 year old daughter even took a bite and passed. I'm extremely disappointed and would never ever recommend trusting them for a special occasion. I would ask for a refund but the girls in the shop were not the most confident in any detail or abilities or policies and processes when ordering. I love Amy's ice cream and we've been going there for years but this Baked by Amy's is a very bad reflection of the company. Update:---- management reached out and refunded half the cost, I appreciate this very much that the care put into making sure customers are happy is important to them. Thank you!

This place will make you a believer in pumpkin cheesecake! We ordered a full cheesecake for Thanksgiving after having samples some at an event a few months prior. Delicious flavor, and an excellent price at a little over $20. I was SHOCKED! Cream cheese is not cheap, people. The service here was also great. In addition to our pie, we had some coupons for free cupcakes. I got the chocolate tres leches cupcake and highly recommend it. The lovely lady at the counter even gave us some pupstries for our pup. So sweet! Minus one star because sadly our cheesecake had several cracks on it, making it hard to cut on Thanksgiving. Luckily we weren't entertaining to impress.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these Baked goods! We had the Tres leches cupcake.. one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. Moist and delicious.. also had the Strawberry cheesecake one and it was amazing as well. All of the baked goods look fresh and they are very reasonably priced. My only complaint is I wish they were open later!

I recently decided to change my review from a 1 start to a 3 star because Baked By Amy's reached out to apologize for the bad experience. They offered to make it up to me & remake another cake for me. I haven't taken them up on their offer yet, however I am pleased to hear they strive for customer satisfaction and that deserves a better review. Previous review: 5 Stars for the staff because they were very kind and I respect that kind of curtesy. However the quality of the cake is what receives 1 star. I ordered a 6" red velvet for my boyfriends birthday. Red velvet is his FAVORITE, so I wanted to find the best moist red velvet cake in town. I've never purchased a cake from Baked by Amy's before but a friend gave me macaroons from there for my birthday last year & I enjoyed them so I figured they would make great cakes as well. Turns out I was wrong :( The design was great, no complaints there, it was exactly what I wanted. But the cake itself was so dry that it tasted like dry leftover cornbread with red food coloring and cream cheese icing. When I first cut into the cake I could see it wasn't moist, then the first bite .... Ahhhh just so disappointing especially for the price point $35 for a decorated 6". Seriously it tasted like dry leftover cornbread :( I was embarrassed. We ended up taking it to the homeless down the St. to eat though so it wouldn't go to waste. I would not recommend Baked by Amy's for a special occasion.

Loved the aesthetic of this little place! Don't miss the playground behind the building. Great spot for the niece. What I tried: - Rocky Road Cakeball- tasty! - Mexican Vanilla Macaron - I really enjoyed this! The vanilla filling marched well with the delicately spiced shell. The shell was perfect if not just a tad thick. But best of all, this macron wasn't too sweet! - Chocolate Tres Leches Cupcake - it was good, but kind of meh for me. The icing was too light and bland, the cake was good, but the filling wasn't the best. It had the consistency of melted ice cream with cake that I ultimately did not love. It was all decent, but I don't think I'll come back for additional cupcakes. Overall, a really charming bakery serving beautiful cupcakes, a variety of big, classic cookies, cake balls, and macarons. I am personally looking for different types of dessert outside cookies and cakes, something richer and more complex. Therefore I would probably seek out a different bakery.

I adore cupcakes. All of them- from my absolute favorite at Cupcaking Desire to Sugar Mama's tasty treats to even the boxed cake mixes that you find at the grocery store. So I wasn't picky when my sweet tooth came knocking and my favorite cupcake trailer was closed. I pulled up my handy dandy Yelp app and simply looked up a bakery that was on the way home. Baked By Amy's is easy to miss. It's located in the same shopping center as IFly, and if you pass it, you'll have to go all the way around and u-turn on 183. The decor inside is cute, everything is clean, and the baked goods looked amazing. But key word: looked. I got three cupcakes to go: red velvet, lemon berry, and mexican vanilla. The fork came out as soon as I got home, I dug in for a bite of each...and closed the box. "Keeevinn. I'm not eating these." "What? How are you saying no to cupcakes? What's wrong with those?? I'll eat them then." Hubs went in. Took a bite of each, closed the box, and tossed them in the trash. They were that bad.

My daughters birthday cake was delicious! We have also tried nearly every item on the menu and have not been disappointed. So glad this bakery is close to us!

Is this place closed? Was unable to find the location, but seem to of found TWO Amy's Ice Cream right next door to eachother. Odd.

We used Baked By Amy's for macaroons at our wedding. We first tried them at Tiffany's in the domain and were blown away, did not realize it was by Amys. We then went to try them in person as well and all of the flavors are wonderful. We wanted to keep a Texas theme in our wedding and what better way than to create cactus shaped macaroons. Baked by Amy's did an amazing job, the only downside was that the macaroons were not wrapped in plastic as we first talked about with the team, but I think there was a communication mistake (they did call a second time to verify a gold plate to sit them on, but I did not realize that was not with the plastic wrap). Since they weren't wrapped, bugs got all over them (outdoor wedding), that said - everyone loved them that had the chance to eat it, some folks ate them the moment they sat down. Thanks for the hard work and being flexible/creative with the cactus idea.

I don't like cup cake, until a try the tres letche cup cake, it's a dream of cake! It the best cup cake ever! I highly recommend.

My husband and I came here the first time about a month ago. I was pregnant at the time and craving sweets. We got a variety of cupcakes and some brownies. I would say the place is just OK. We weren't overly impressed with the quality of the cupcakes, some of them were pretty dry. They had a pretty good selection to choose from. There are lots of different varieties and different styles of cupcakes. I guess I am just a Hey Cupcake girl at heart. Considering this place is very far from where we live, we probably were not going back. But if you just happen to be in the neighborhood it's worth a try to stop by.

I want to like this place- I really, do-but I've only ever once could get a cupcake here. Every single time I go- they are out of cupcakes. YES- I am going at a reasonable hour. The one cup o cake I could indulge in was tasty, but I found it odd they do not have a way to warm them up. I'm not a fan of a cold cup- o cake. I imagine any place next t child baring Phil's ice house would do well- so props, but with all the various bake shop options I'll see myself elsewhere.

I have to agree with John M. This place fails in only 1 very important area, but let me give an overview. 1. Store is very clean and appealing. 2. Staff is very friendly, even received a free cookie! (because they were stuck together) 3. All the cupcakes were designed well and had a great presentation. 4. Once digging into the cupcake discovered the cake was quite dry and dense. Not what I expected. If you choose to get cupcakes from here, just be sure to bring Plenty of milk!

Its hard to go wrong with dessert, but these ladies (only bc I've only ever seen ladies working there) take it to a whole other level--just as you would expect an Amy's company to do. Quirky and fun store with a giant wooden table up front for enjoying your treat or for a kid's bday party which was happening one day when I walked in. Apparently the tres leches cupcake is their best seller, and um, yeah, its flippin' incredible! I call them up EVERY time we need a cake for a staff member's bday or going away party and at this point if I got a cake from any where else my staff would never forgive me. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a cookie, cakeball or cupcake and you'll be writing a killer review for BAKED too!

I had several friends come down from Dallas who have extreme sweet tooth's. Another friend told me about the amazing cupcakes at baked by Amy's. We decided to hit them up and try a large assortment, I can only comment on the three I had a taste of, - Chocolate brownie was just way too sweet. It was pure sugar, however the chocolate brownie taste was very nice and decadent. That after sugar hit though was like being slapped in the face. Too much sweet. - Tres leches was perfect! So so so good. A slightly unique take of a classic cake. Loved it! Not too soggy either. - chocolate Oreo, surprisingly just okay. It isn't bad by any means, but I was expecting to love this! I love oreo anything and this was just good. My friends said their lemon something was too sweet as well, and another said their peanut butter chocolate was purely divine. I would give them 4.5 stars. Staff was mediocre, neither friendly nor unwelcoming. They did their job at the most basic level. Oh! And for those of you who are concerned with restrooms, I actually used it! I never do that! So I can safely say it is completely handicap accessible and clean.

If you have not already tried Baked by Amys, do yourself a favor and get over there as soon as you can!! My husband and I, along with a couple of friends recently had the pleasure of trying Baked for our first time just this past weekend. I had the Chocolate Tres Leches Cupcake, my husband had the Chocolate Brownie, our friends had a Fruity Pebbles Cupcake and Oreo Cupcake. We also tried two of the Macaroons. The Cupcakes were amazing - Im talkin' crave worthy - most notably the Chocolate Tres Leches, topped with fresh Strawberry, Blueberries and Blackberries and filled with a berry compote and milk mixture!! The macaroons had a great texture, but the filling was a tad too sweet for my taste. If you like sweet, they would be great though (I tend to like subtle sweet). Didn't get a chance to try the cookies yet, next time for sure!! We will be back.

This shop is really adorable! They have all kinds of beautiful sweet baked goods which is basically my own personal heaven. I went there one weekend evening about a month ago. The atmosphere was nice and it was exciting to be around all the delicious-looking treats . The only negative issues I had with the shop were as follows: 1) None of the cupcakes or cakes were labeled so we had no idea what anything was. It looked great but it would be nice to know what things are. This might have been okay except that: 2) The employee helping us just kind of stared at us and waited for us to order and seemed annoyed with any questions we would ask. She didn't make any attempts to describe what things were or pick up on the fact that we'd never been there before and may like a little direction. We ordered pretty much randomly, and she boxed up our items and rang up our purchases in one of the most un-enthusiastic ways I could ever imagine someone acting in such a seemingly magical place. Really seemed like she didn't want us to be there or didn't want to be there herself. Bummer. I have a major sweet tooth so I will probably go back and hopefully things will be labeled better or there will be someone working there who is more eager to help.

Smells great walking in!!! They have a great selection of cupcakes and it looks and smells so fresh I think it's a very cute shop also next to an ice cream place so that's great. The cupcakes wasn't that sweet but still beautiful looking and fresh.

in typical amy's fashion, the service is friendly and accommodating. the space is bright and open. no seats inside (though there is room for a few so maybe that's coming), but there are tables outside serving phil's, amy's, and baked. there is a playground around the back side for the little darlings. i didn't see any macaroons on the day we went (a Saturday, around 2pm) - the selection included truffles ($2 a piece seemed a bit pricey since they're quite small but since I didn't partake, I can't say whether or not it's worth it), fudge, several varieties of cupcakes ($3 a piece), big rice krispy treats, brownie/blondies, and three types of cookies ($2 a piece). i saw a few full-sized cakes sitting in the case looking quite lovely. everything is artfully decorated. we had no trouble choosing a strawberry shortcake cupcake, a peanut butter/chocolate cupcake, and a chocolate chip cookie (as big as my face). everything lived up to my expectations and my sweet craving was definitely satisfied. the strawberry shortcake cupcake had a strawberry jam filling and was topped with a deliciously creamy strawberry "mousse". it was my fave of the three. jacko preferred the peanut butter/chocolate cupcake which had a peanut butter filling and topping with rich, moist chocolate cake. the chocolate chip cookie was good, and huge, but the least stellar of the three (and with the outstanding tiff treat's right down the road delivering warm, delicious cookies to your door, baked will have serious competition in the cookie arena). happy to have this brick and mortar bakery in our neighborhood. the hey cupcake trailer moves around a bit so we can't always find it - which on second thought, might not be the worst thing in the world...because now I know exactly where to go when I need some cupped cakes.
