Neat variety of cupcakes options, but they are VERY SMALL, so you don't get to savor the flavor very long. Decently priced for NY.

3/22/23 2pm We came here before leaving the airport and honestly were not impressed. It is totally fine that the cupcakes come prepackaged, however when you ask the employee questions it’s like they were annoyed you even asked. We got one large pack and then decided to get a small 6 pack… seemed like it was such trouble to get it from the back a second trip…. Whatever, still good cupcakes but the employees should probably be a little more receptive and not seem so bothered by their jobs which clearly can easily be replaced with a kiosk since there is zero need for actual people except to hand out prepackaged cupcakes. Which you can do at a vending machine and save on rent. Delicious. Wish you were able to pick out your own selections

Google
Always good tasting cupcakes! They come a variety of different flavors that change often. Easily packed for travel - or just eating on the spot. Customer service is always good! The only issue with these cupcakes you can't eat just one!

Google
The moistness of these mini cupcakes blow me away! Pros: Every cupcake was moist which enhances the experience. Cons: One of the two people was on their cell phone even while I was ordering. What I ordered: 6-Pack for $7.50 * Double Cookie * Peanut Butter * Electric Tye Dye * Dulce De Leche * Triple Chocolate Fudge * Cookies and Cream My experience: I came in around 11:30 AM, grabbed a flyer of their cakes, researched on yelp, and then decided to later return at 12:22pm with the six flavors that I wanted. I must not be a sweet connoisseur, since many other reviews had opinions on specific flavors. EVERYTHING was good to me; not overly sweet but maximum on moistness. I think $7.50 is an intimidatingly high barrier of entry for such a small quantity, but I think it’s worth it!

Google
I love the new vegan cupcakes. They had six flavors. The vegan strawberry is to die for.

Google
Delicious bite size cupcakes. You can buy them at JFK airport. They have so many flavors to choose from.

Google
Very delicious mini cupcakes! And the creatives flavors but services wasn't friendly

Google
The cupcakes are very good! But I wish they'd bring back the whole selection.

Yelp
I loved being able to grab a tiny 6-pack for my flight--because, let's be honest, cupcakes make any trip better! I do wish there was an option to pick your own flavors, but the pre-selected options were still tasty. Super friendly customer service! Not too much on display or decor/ambiance in the location, making it look less inviting. Great for a quick stop pre flight for something sweet.

Alexx R.

Yelp
I of course now baked by Melissa from social media. So when I saw she had a store in JFK I decided to stop in. Honestly walking in it's looks kind of run down or almost fake. I paid $20 for the 12 pack. I would say they were just okay and basically all tasted the same. Wasn't impressed.

Sunil R.

Yelp
Cute little shop selling mini cupcakes that is easy to pop in right there or take aboard as a gift in easy to carry on packaging. The lady at the counter was super nice. The cupcakes were good.

Yelp
Want to indulge on the sweetness of Baked by Melissa without traveling to the city? This is what the airport location is for. Whether one is looking to satisfy a sweet craving or get an edible gift for someone while in transit, this location at JFK's Terminal 5 is a good option for all of the above, It honestly feels like any location of BBM, all with the minimalist decor and constant bustle of in/out traffic of folks ordering these minis for takeout. While I have been told the cupcakes are baked offsite and brought here, I'm under the impression / understanding that they're replenished several times daily. This makes sense, seeing as I've never come here and not found anything I've wanted. The cupcakes are just like what one would find in Manhattan, albeit slightly more expensive. The red velvet, dye are still the ones to get but the rest of their sweets are definitely worth checking out. They're available as singles, 6 packs, and ever-indulgent 25 pack. I tend to get the latter as gifts for friends, especially non-New Yorkers, who always come away impressed.

Melyssa F.

Yelp
Small location inside the airport and they have certain packages you can pick from. You can't choose what you want but they have so many options even gluten ones. I got the variety pack! It has some classic and new flavors in it. they were super fresh and packaged very neatly. It made it from JFK to MCO.

Zita C.

Yelp
Ever since a friend introduced me to these mini cupcakes, I cannot go past the location at the JFK airport terminal without stopping for some. The cupcake minis are perfect bite-size that fits completely into my mouth in one bite! Moist, yummy, deliciousness! They package them in these neat little containers in packs of as little as 3 or 6, up to about 25 or 50. My go-to flavors of choice are the Cookies & Cream, Triple Chocolate Fudge, and the Cake Batter. They have a few seasonal and holiday flavors in addition to several vegan and gluten free options and macarons as well. If you like sweet treats, do yourself a favor and stop in here if you're in JFK Terminal 5!

Yelp
Very well packed to gey in the plane with my family enjoyed the cupcakes moist and delicious fast service and no crazy lines

Danielle C.

Yelp
These tiny cupcakes are very moist! I got them for my plane ride and saved some for the next day. They were not dry at all which was great. I had the red velvet and tie dye ones. Both were good, not too overwhelmingly sweet. They're so small though that you really need to be mindfully chewing them if you want to savor them!

Molly L.

Yelp
The "cupcakes" are more like mini muffin tops, if that. We paid almost $5 for 3 small thumb-sized bites. We ordered the red velvet, crème de leche, and the peanut butter and jelly. They were so tiny and just tasted like sugar bread. I couldn't really taste the flavors of these bites because there was so much sugar in them, but maybe other flavors taste more like they claim to be. The peanut butter and jelly tasted the most like it was supposed to be, but it still wasn't something spectacular (you can make your own peanut butter and jelly). For the price, it's not really worth it because it's small and the flavors were not spectacular. I don't think I'd come here again.

Yelp
As soon as I walked out of the airport from the jetBlue terminal, I had my eye on Baked by Melissa. I saw it all over New York City, but it wasn't until my return flight that I got the chance to finally try it. Baked by Melissa has bite-sized morsels of cupcakes and macarons. In comparison to a standard cupcake, they're basically button-sized. I loved how such proportionately small they were, because I hardly finish a regular cupcake. Furthermore, this was perfect for me because a.) I'm very indecisive and b.) I could sample all the flavors if I wanted to. However, I exercised no self control and easily ate the whole box before I even got on my plane. The dough for the cupcakes was very soft and moist on all the cupcakes. I got a custom 12-pack with a mix of 11 cupcakes and 1 macaron. (You pay extra if you add macarons.) Here is my review for each one: 1. Black and white macaron - Top 5 favorite. Very good! I really enjoyed this, and I thought that it balanced the chocolate and vanilla quite well. 2. PB&J - Top 5 favorite. The peanut butter was light and whipped. The small dollop of jelly was a nice touch. 3. Dulce de Leche - Not memorable 4. Double Cookie - Not memorable 5. Cookies and Cream - Not memorable 6. Mint - Top 5 favorite. Great chocolate/mint flavor. 7. Memorial Day special - This was a special for Memorial day. It was vanilla flavored. 8. Pink sugar cookie - Not memorable. Didn't care much for the sugar cookie flavors. 9. White sugar cookie - Not memorable. Didn't care much for the sugar cookie flavors. 10. Tie-dye - Didn't get to eat this flavor, although my boyfriend said it was good and his #1 favorite from the entire pack. 11. Chocolate chip - Top 5 favorite. This was just a very comforting flavor for me. It tasted exactly like a gooey chocolate chip cookie. 12. Peanut butter cup - Top 5 favorite. Exactly what you think it should taste like. The whipped peanut butter is great.

Yelp
Loved my mini cupcakes from Baked by Melissa. The staff were very suggestive and friendly. They have a wide variety of flavors, I was good, had three mini cupcakes. My favorite was strawberry milkshake, although they were all delicious and moist. Cute packaging. We need a Los Angeles location.

Marc K.

Yelp
If a cupcake is the progeny of a cake; If a mini cupcake is the progeny of a cupcake; If a micro cupcake is the progeny of a mini cupcake; Then you'll get the drift of what awaits you. Take a deep breath in and one of those slim-man micro cupcakes might end up in your nose or lungs. There are very few things you can eat smaller than these. A kernel of corn, a pea, grape, 5 Cheerios.... that's about it. Alright, now for the heartbreaker--they taste amazing. The frostings are indulgently delicious and the cake themselves nothing short of stupendous. Sugar cookie tastes just like one, cookies and cream--same, I could go on.

Alicia N.

Yelp
Deeeeeelicous! I don't have a big sweet tooth but I had to try this place out after a few recommendations from friends. We had lunch already and wanted just a little something sweet. The 6 mini cupcakes were perfect for 3 people. The cupcakes are the perfect size for one bite. We got 6 for $7.50. They have normal flavors and seasonal flavors. We came in October so it was Halloween time. We got snickerdoodle, mint cookie, chocolate chip pancake, cookies and cream and haunted pop chocolate flavors. All delicious, moist and not overly sweet

Joel H.

Yelp
Five star cupcakes along with five star service. The young lady who helped us seemed so excited to be able to describe each one. She clearly enjoys what she does and make this cupcake buying experience fun! Bite size, moist, flavor paced, reasonably priced and really, really good. I really like the texture of these cupcakes, slightly chewy and moist... all this in a cupcake the size of an oreo. We've had these cupcakes at JFK airport and Roosevelt field mall. Smart move putting a location on the way to your plane. These went perfectly with a coffee at 35,000 feet. It was nice to have a little variety too. I thing my favorite is the red velvet. Next time, I buy a dozen... for myself!

Jonathan Z.

Yelp
Super good but wish they were a little bigger. They're cute little bites but super easy to devour a 24 pack. Great flavors and really moist cakes. They aren't overly sugary but a nice little treat while at the airport. They have a good selection of flavors and even featured a special Pride one for the month of June.

Taylor J.

Yelp
The only thing better then full sized deliciousness is bite sized. I needed a sweet pick me up while I waited for my flight. I was immediately drawn to the shop full of tiny treats. Cupcakes and macaroons. I picked out a 6 pack cupcake sampler. Each slightly different but all quite tasty. Different icings, batter and toppings. I like being able to try many different flavors without having to purchase large treats. Each is literally a pop in your mouth bite size, shareable if you are really congniscent of your bite. Located in terminal 5 at JFK near jet blue flights. A nice change from the usual candy at the magazine shop. The cookie dough was my favorite.

Kristine F.

Yelp
Reading all the reviews makes me sad they didn't offer any cupcakes with macarons on top! Excited to find a Baked by Melissa at the terminal, I bought four 12 piece boxes, one of each flavor, and a 6 piece box all as gifts. I found out adding the tie dye ribbon costs $1 each but what the hey, it looks pretty and presentable. It was very nice of the employees to wrap the boxes up with plastic wrap before adding bows to seal in freshness. Right before our flight, we ate almost a whole dozen so I ran back to the store and bought the 25 piece bubble container for $20 a few minutes before boarding. Good thing we were at the closest gate! We really liked the cookies & cream, mint cookie, red velvet, chocolate chip pancake, and April flavor chocolate Babka with cinnamon filling. I interacted with both employees and they were polite and patient. I added on the 4th dozen while she was tying the ribbon. We also got some free cupcake stickers and temporary tattoos. Pricey at $12/dozen but great NYC gift to bring back home!

Yelp
Baked by Melissa is such a cute little place! It's always refreshing to find a unique food shop at an airport. I do assume that the other locations in NYC are better, however, I always enjoy my cupcakes from Baked by Melissa. The tiny size of the cupcakes are ideal for me because I would rather try a bunch of different types than have one huge cupcake. I always get the pack of six miniature cupcakes and bring them on the plane with me. Each one is delicious! There are so many flavors to choose from. My favorite cupcakes are: pancake, tie-dye, salted caramel and s'mores. They also have macaroons, which I am yet to try, but they look great!

Kris B.

Yelp
This is the new thing in New York - tiny little cupcakes for $1.00 each. I had been to an NYU Bookstore open house the day before where they served these little treasures. They are meant to be eaten in one bite so you can enjoy the clever blending of flavors. I bought 12 for $10 for my husband (huge cupcake lover!) and asked for one of each flavor to test out as many flavors as possible. They are so friggin' adorable!!! And they come with a menu so you can match up which ones you're eating. I know it's a gimmick but they are moist and delicious. Fun to share!

Jennifer G.

Yelp
Honestly, I don't get the hype. $1.25 for a cupcake that's not mini, not bite size but half of a bite size. You are left standing there feeling jipped and still wondering what you really ate because it was so small you could barely taste it. Mostly cake with a small amount of flavor. Maybe if that small bite exploded with wow flavors....but these do not. You would need to buy their $30 pack of 25 to even feel like you tasted anything and at that price it's just ridiculous. I can't even imagine what Melissa's margins are at these prices. These bite sized cupcakes are cute but that's it

Esther C.

Yelp
$1/macaroon or mini-cupcake! I bought a couple of 5-packs of macaroons because it packed well for traveling but after eating them, I wish I had bought more!! The workers were very patient and sweet and advised that I freeze them if I wasn't going to be eating them right away. Even after coming out of the freezer, the macaroons tasted fresh and delicious. Next time I will try the cupcakes as well!

Stefany V.

Yelp
Maybe Melissa has an established product following and I am just out of the loop, but I was underwhelmed by this place. Cute setup, good selection of flavors, but the "cupcakes" themselves are like 1/5th the size of a regular mini cupcake- they seem to be going for the "just the tops" crowd, but when I'm paying dollar for a piece of undercooked cake the size of my thumbnail, it better be amazing. But it's not- tastes like the dough is barely cooked, but I will say that the flavors are very distinct. PB&J and their version of Mint Chocolate Chip were both good, Red Velvet was very basic, Tie Dye seems to be their take on classic Confetti Cake. Didn't care for their featured Crunch flavor or the chocolate-covered versions. Side note: they also give out an absurd amount of "featured product" ads, brand stickers and tattoos, and other marketing materials with every order. I shouldn't have as many flyers as "cupcakes" with my order.

Taryn R.

Yelp
I mean, come on people. It's mini cupcakes. What's not to love? Well, maybe the price... I will admit $1 per bite is a little steep. But, it's still one of the best deals behind security. We had the PB&J, Chocolate Chip Pancake, Mint Cookie, Red Velvet, and Cookie Dough. All were tasty; the PB&J were our favorites.

Kelli S.

Yelp
A friend told me that even if I didn't make it to a Baked By Melissa during my time in NYC, not to worry - there was a store within JFK. Before our flight, I had time to check out the airport store. I didn't feel bad about not making it to the original bakery because the airport store had a fantastic selection! Baked By Melissa sells both mini cupcakes and macarons. The vast amount of cupcakes was almost overwhelming ... there were so many flavors! I think because they were also in mini size, it just looked like there was more of them. I had a hard time picking flavors for my six pack, but the girls behind the counter were helpful. There were just so many to choose from! I just felt rather rushed because there were other people in the store waiting to order. Baked By Melissa is great, in terms of taking snacks back home from a NYC trip. The containers are easy to open and close, and it's fun to customize your pack. I just got a 6-pack, but there were bigger sizes (25-pack) available as well. My family was happy with the cupcakes and finished all six quickly! But then again, you can easily pop one of these little guys into your mouth whole. I was just happy that the plastic container was snug and the little cupcakes made it back to Hawaii safely. Here's what I got: "Chocolate Chip Pancake": This cupcake featured a yellow pancake, maple syrup icing, and mini chocolate chips on top. I normally don't like yellow cake, but this was really moist ... completely reminiscent of a pancake. The mini chocolate chips on top provided the perfect texture. "Cookies & Cream": This cupcake featured a chocolate cake, cookies & cream filling, vanilla icing and a petite chocolate cookie on top. I love Oreos, and this cupcake reminded me of just that. The chocolate cake was decadent, and the cookies & cream filling was luscious. The vanilla icing balanced out the chocolate cake perfectly. "Mint Cookie": This cupcake featured a mint cake, fudge filling, mint cookies & cream icing and a mint cookie butter and green drizzle on top. I don't like mint, but one of my family members does, so she loved this flavor. She said the mint flavor was strong, and she readily enjoyed it. "Raspberry Chocolate Chip": This raspberry cupcake topped with chocolate was the featured flavor of the month for June. My family liked how the fruitier cupcake was balanced perfectly by the sweeter chocolate topping. A must-get for any berry lover; too bad it's a seasonal flavor. "Red Velvet": Pure and simple: red velvet cupcake, cream cheese icing and red sugar crystals on top. This was probably one of my favorites of all the cupcakes I got. Red velvet just has to have cream cheese frosting to be legit ... and this didn't disappoint. The red velvet cake was moist and fluffy, and the cream cheese frosting topped it off perfectly. "Tie Dye": This cupcake reminded me of funfetti. It comprised tie-dye cake, vanilla icing and rainbow sugar crystals on top. The blend of colors might turn some off, but to me, the colors just made this one even more fun to eat! It didn't have as strong of a flavor (as the chocolate ones), but it's visually appealing.

Yelp
I received a package of 24 initially from my employer for my birthday so when I saw they were also located in the airport I stopped in for a package before our flight. Options are strictly dependent on what they have pre packaged, but the reason why I only gave three stars, is because these things are pricey. I enjoyed it more when my company sent it as a gift. I purchased a six pack for close to $8 and these things are super tiny. Way less than bite size. Yes they are good, but for the price I won't be purchasing them often.

Shari P.

Yelp
Overpriced mini cupcakes?? Why not? lol. $1 for a quarter sized cupcake seems outrageous right? I know.. and yet whenever a Baked By Melissa is in my vicinity I feel obliged to indulge. Could it be because they're so cute? So pretty? Fun to look at? Fun to eat? One bite hit and quit? Idk.. but I'll take a 6-pack .. mix it up and make sure you throw in a cupcake of the month flavor. This specific location is right in the middle of JFK terminal 5 not too far from Jet Blue. Even though I was leaving the airport I had to grab some :) you should too!

Ashley C.

Yelp
This location is in Terminal 5 at the JFK airport but I walked by a few during my stay in New York. It's pretty tempting because each item is mini and only costs $1-2 each, making it impossible to just get one! They have a variety of cupcakes, macarons and muffins to choose from. I ordered a 6-pack mix of a macaron and some cupcakes. My favorite was definitely the cookie dough macaron and the cookie dough cupcake. The blueberry pie cupcake tasted too artificial to me. These would also make a really cute gift, so it's nice that they are located in the airport for people who want to bring stuff home without the trouble of taking it through security.

Dana F.

Yelp
I'm sorry Sprinkles but these cupcakes are my new favorite!! And the fact that they're bite sized is even better because now I don't feel guilty having a few of them at once and they have a huge assortment of flavors and I can honestly say that there wasn't one I didn't love, but my absolute favorite is the peanut butter and jelly. We first discovered these at the airport on our trip to New York and bought some as we were leaving the airport and again when we were there to fly home. And coincidentally my husband's birthday was just a few weeks after we got home and of course I had to order some since they're in New York, which was a little pricey but totally worth it and again for Christmas for my daughter, I ordered another box but unfortunately she was sick and I wasn't able to see her until a couple of weeks after they were delivered so I was forced to share them with my husband That'll teach my daughter to visit her mom more often!!

Ashley F.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in here looking for a snack on the way back to sf from jfk. This place is pretty cool and the gentleman behind the counter was very friendly. We ordered 3 cupcakes, a cookies and cream, cookie dough, and maybe an Oreo? All tasted excellent. A bit pricey at $1 each for 1 bite but it's an airport so it's expected. Great for small desert if you are looking for it.

Kimberly C.

Yelp
I was rushing through customs to get to a connecting flight to Fort Lauderdale as they were boarding passengers. In amidst of all this hustle and bustle, I managed to drop by Baked by Melissa for a quick order of a dozen cupcakes. The guy behind the counter saw the urgency in my face although I tried to keep my composure with a smile (smiling mostly due to the sight of a pretty display of cupcakes galore) -- he quickly suggested getting one of everything since they had 12 flavors out. BOOM. Done. I only requested to opt out Chocolate Mint so I may have two of the Cotton Candy Cuparons (yes, a mini cupcake topped with a macaron shell). I'm also stunned that the cuparons are the same price as the rest of the mini cuppies, because usually macarons are pricy so I would expect an extra $1 or $0.50 charge for the delicate topping. In all, the cupcakes are VERY pretty, in which the term "cute" is super appropriate (it'll be the first word you'll think of at first sight). I enjoyed all the gourmet bites -- made me wish they were bigger so I may enjoy some more! And the to-go bag came with the visual menu, business card, and a sticker of the logo (I was very excited for the sticker). Oh and if you're wondering, yes, I made it to my flight (being one of the last few passengers to board, hehe).

Bell L.

Yelp
- Incredible bite sized cupcakes and macaroons !!!! - Each cupcake and macaroon was completely moist and cooked to perfection - My favorite macaroon was the sugar cookie flavor. Macaroons are incredibly difficult to get just right. A slight crunch on the outside and soft inside packed full of flavor is no easy task. Baked by Melissa are at level expert in my book. - Their colors, marketing, and branding was absolutely adorable and fun

Keagan X.

Yelp
I went to the location in the JFK Airport in NY. The moment i stepped into the store it smelled amazing!! I got the Cookie dough and Cookies n Cream one as well. My favorite was definitely the Cookie dough one i loved it a lot. The cookies n cream one was okay it was pretty plain though. The only reason this review has 4 stars is they were way too small, it only took one bite to eat it and then.... Boom, it was gone. But very good and would definitely recommend.

Meems N.

Yelp
I only leave ratings for places that I would definitely come back to. You can read the gazillion other reviews already on Yelp.

Joanne A.

Yelp
Rude customer service. Asked to change up one selection of macaron and the cashier gave such an attitude. That's not a way to treat a paying customer visiting ny. Melissa as an owner needs to figure out how to improve your customer experience otherwise this won't last

Emily D.

Yelp
The extra mini cupcake concept is new to me, and I'm not sure I'm a fan. You can literally eat these in one bite. Flavors were good and each one was baked to perfection. I think I'd much rather one regular size cupcake. For three extra minis, I paid $3.75.

Mimi L.

Yelp
These make great giveaway gifts, to share with others or even for oneself. I like bite sized desserts SO no guilty indulgance afterwards :D Flavors I Like: Mint Choco Chip, Choco Chip Pancake, Cookie Dough, Tye-Dye & Red Velvet :: PROS :: - Bite sized & yummy guiltless snacks - Flavors, texture, moisture were all pretty good - Can order online & get it shipped nationwide - Cool flavors of the month - Nice packaging & presentation :: CONS :: - No locations out here in SoCal :| I'll be back next time I visit NY esp for quick pick up at the airport!~

Adriana P.

Yelp
I really don't see what the hype is about. I paid a dollar for a melted, tiny excuse for a cupcake. Yes, the packaging is pretty but that's pretty much what you're paying for. Also, get happier people to work here. You'd think working around sugar would make people happy-but not here apparently. I don't like being greeted with "what do you want" when excitedly embarking on a vacation. I won't be patronizing Melissa's again.

Irene V.

Yelp
These were a last minute purchase before hopping onto my favorite airline. Located in Terminal 5 at JFK. (TIP: The jetBlue crew flying JFK to PHX loves these. So buy them some!) Cupcakes are adorably tiny, artfully decorated and they are delicious! The size is what counterbalances any guilt. Zero calories I promise you. Especially when you eat four. 12 cupcakes for $10. Never buy just one. Cupcake art can be ordered. Instead of having a large cake made for an event you can request a large design. These tiny explosions of heavenly goodness are then arranged into the design of your choice. Easy to nibble on without looking like a glutton. (Minimum order of 100 cupcakes for $85. Assembled for pickup or Manhattan delivery available. They ship too but you accept assembly duty!) In a hideous taste of gluttony (But It Is Not - These Are Small) Baked by Melissa offers a "Mini of Month Club". We all need this in our lives. Three, six or twelve months memberships available, with 25, 50 or 100 cupcakes. I say go big. GO BIG! You'll have the rest of the month to work it off. Don't feel left out if you're reading this in Phoenix: Nationwide delivery! $20 minimum + shipping

AD S.

Yelp
My daughter loves cupcake... and when I saw it at the terminal. I thought what better way to delight my daughter but surprise her with cup cakes. So I got a dozen of these for $15. I guess.. and it was not a good call on my part. First, the staff is rude at best. You feel as if they are doing you a favor by selling you these over-priced baked bites. When I asked a question, about the packing size - he (and she - there were two of them), completely ignored the questions, just looked at me and nothing. Second, they packed a dozen and put them in a bag, standing vertical. That vertical over-turned into upside down - the moment I stepped out. All that icing on top - smooshed. Third, taste of these is adequate, if not below average. On plus side - they looked cool before I bought.

Lissette P.

Yelp
Finally got to try these bite-sized cupcakes. They tasted very sweet! I bought six of the tiny cupcakes for about $7. Some of the cupcakes were Halloween themed. They came in a holder that was pretty secure. I was able to travel with them in my backpack on my flight and they stayed in great condition.

Karine K.

Yelp
The perfect snack at JFK after a 5 hour flight! My cousin and I got the 6 pack. Loved every flavor except the cookie dough. These things are so pretty you almost don't want to eat them. Key word being "almost" because omg these things taste like little slices of heaven.

Bea S.

Yelp
I like the idea of a one bite cupcake. You can sample a lot more flavors without all the calories and all the money. After a really long and shitty day of traveling I was drawn to the clean and pretty store. The menu seemed interesting with a variety of flavors and it LOOKED good. But the actual cupcakes in the glass display just looked like they were in the hot sun for too long, like they just melted. They weren't all quite uniform in shape and the size is pretty small for $1. I ordered the cookie dough, the red velvet, and the triple chocolate fudge. I also ordered the chocolate covered cookie cream one. My first (and only) bite of the chocolate covered cookie cream was awful. It tasted like the way packaging styrofoam smells. I don't know what happened. But based on that taste alone, I wouldn't order it, or any of the chocolate covered ones, again. Out of the rest of the cupcakes, the best was probably the cookie dough. It had little bits of cookie dough in it which was what I wanted. The other two were not memorable. Service was polite but tired.

Robert H.

Yelp
Definitely worth hitting up if ur arriving or departing. Stopped in for a quick snack. Customer service was on key. The 2 girls handled the crowd with ease. No long waiting. They have a ton of mini cupcakes to choose from. We ordered a mini pack of 6 and we all agreed they were perfectly cooked. Small bites packed a big punch. You wont be disappointed.

Yelp
I've seen this store a lot in the streets of NYC and finally tried it at the airport! $3 for 3 mini cupcakes: *Tye Dye- more color than flavor but good *Red Velvet-nice and moist *Strawberry cupcaroon- mini cupcake with half of a mini macaroon on top. Cute and delicious!! I seriously wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. The hype is not just the looks but also the taste. They came in a small cute box that screamed for a picture and mini ads/flyers about the store. Apparently, they also have flavor of the month, cute idea. Service was typical NYC. Dry and rude, sigh... But it satisfies the sweet tooth!

Yelp
I only did this review for this location because if your happen to flying out of Jetblue Terminal 5 Baked By Melissa for a limited time is carrying the their Ample Hills ice cream release/collaboration . If your a New Yorker you know about the history of this trendy mini cupcake shop. It Started out as a storefront in soho with long line forming to get these tasty treats. Now it's one of New York's best selling cupcake businesses. Get the ice cream before it runs out if your leaving New York or entering!

Yelp
This place, at first stands out with all the colorful baked goodies. But the service was not good. There was a male sales guy (Nov 22-around 7:30am) in there that was extremely rude when we asked if they had vegan options. The one female was courteous enough, but the guy's demeanor was unpleasant enough that we chose not to spend our money there.

Yelp
Very underwhelming. These are sugary cupcakes with loads of artificial colors and sweeteners. There's barely any flour in these cupcakes so it's almost like the flour is a vehicle for the sugar which means there isn't much to cut through the all of the sweeteners. I don't get the hype.

Yelp
O-M-G.... absolutely moist and delicious tiny cup cakes that are so damn good. I think I'm going to get more. It's so inexpensive.

Yelp
Cute shop just after security filled with delicious, little cupcakes. There is such a crazy variety, no way can you only get just a few, but it's pretty pricey, so be careful. I appreciate the postcard they drop in the bag that lists what all the kind of cupcakes they are. Also got a little sticker with the desserts. Worker was very nice and patient as I picked out all the ones I wanted. They come in sturdy packaging making traveling with them pretty easy.
