amazing and great prices. I got the breakfast burrito and a latte, which came with a free pastry and free bag of pita chips. Total came to around ~$11-15 per person (and i got a large latte!) 😍 Quality was top tier too. Definitely will be back

I got the Italian sandwich on sliced multigrain bread instead of hero bread. Very good, fresh, and the staff were very accommodating with the substitution. Donuts were good but the Oreo donut was a little on the dry side. Clean place. Organizes. Friendly and efficient staff. I will be back whenever I’m in the area.

Very nice spot tucked away on a quiet side of Brooklyn. Looks like just a baking warehouse but has a full deli/bakery inside. Good lattes as well and fresh pastries baked on site. Have a good variety of cakes, cupcakes, donuts, and other pastries. Offer breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well. Workers are all nice and hospitable as well.

I went for a walk while in the neighborhood and while I was taking stroll I saw this place! Now, I am quite familiar with their products. I have lived all across the US and have purchased their goods in Whole Foods and various markets. I am one of those hardcore Brooklyn raised people who notice all things Brooklyn - especially when I am far from home. So I was quite pleased to stumble across their location while out for a random walk. Their self serve coffee is very good it was not labeled but was a robust flavored medium roast. I think it is the best self serve coffee I have purchased. They also grind it right there. You can watch the bakers work through glass as you get your coffee. The staff is friendly and engaging. They make cakes, small pastries, cupcakes and the yummy pita bread, pita chips (my favorite with tuna) and of course loaves of bread!!! I will return for the sandwiches so can’t honestly comment on those.

You can not complain for the price & quality for the lox bagel & sandwiches or breakfast choices here. Good value for this neighbourhood. You also get small bag pita chips with it. I wish they sell hummus though. I would definitely buy it if it’s available on the fridge site.

You can smell the fresh baked bread, bagels and pastry few blocks away. Cool spot to grab a coffee and bite. I visited on my way to the cemetery across the street. The quality of the food and drinks are average though.

We came in at about 4.30 pm Monday and they did not have anything from the menu on their wall, no sandwiches. They pointed to the fridge but that stuff did not look too attractive. So we ended buying coffee and pastries which were ok. So definitely not a reliable lunch spot but ok as a bakery.

This place is a gem! Probably the only affordable bakery with delicious food that's baked fresh on the premises within miles. You can get a large cappuccino or latte with a free pastry for under $5. It's insanely good! The best deal by far AND their pop tarts and doughnuts are amazing! Their sandwiches are delicious. So many solid options and you aren't paying a fortune for a coffee and a pastry like you are at so many other coffee shops/bakeries. The staff is wonderful and can't say enough good things about this spot. Get there early in the day because they sell out of things fast!

I Truly love "Baked In Brooklyn". I've ordered from here numerous times & I am never disappointed. I Absolutely LOVE their Lox Bagels. They come with Smoked Salmon, onions, capers, Cream Cheese & tomato. Everything is always so fresh. I've also tried their avocado toast which was phenomenal. & the Sausage egg and cheese on a ciabatta roll which was great! Their pre-packed salads are also fresh & delicious. Also, every order comes with a bag of baked pita chips. YUM! No but seriously, You cant go wrong with this place! Keep doing your thing ;)

Walk by this place all the time and the bakery smells are so delicious. Got the Breakfast Burrito and an iced coffee. The burrito was pretty good, there's a spicy red sauce that was really good. The iced coffee was good too. Will definitely be back to try their bagels!

I stopped in at the perfect time in the morning because, after I got in line, the place got packed. I ordered a donut and an egg, sausage, and cheese on a plain bagel. The donut was fluffy and tasted fresh. The bagel was a good crispy fresh bagel that had a good amount of sausage and egg on it. Good valve and will be back.

Living walking distance from this establishment is the most underrated joy of my life. As you casually stroll down fifth Avenue, the inviting smell of vanilla and freshly baked bread hugs you from a three block radius. Baked in Brooklyn is definitely a neighborhood institution. I love coming here to get my baked goods which are guaranteed to always be fresh. They have a variety of breads available for purchase - anything from tomato focaccia, ciabatta dinner rolls to sourdough to pastries to go with your coffee. Some mornings I love to walk here to get a bagel and lox, which will cost you just under $10 after tax. A pretty solid deal in Brooklyn if you ask me. The bagel is always fresh with a crispy exterior and soft interior. Quality of salmon used is good, the tomato is fresh. I like to wash it down with freshly squeezed orange juice. the orange juice is a little bit on the pricier side but pure and fresh - you simply cannot beat that. I love the bar seating, looking towards the Gothic entrance of the greenwood cemetery. Sitting here and enjoying your morning bagel is definitely a vibe. They also do very cute theme stuff for different holidays like valentines, Christmas, etc.. They also have a free pastry with purchase of a latte, which is a really solid deal to jumpstart your day. Love this place!

Such a good deal, we ordered 2 large lattes and got two free pastries. My latte w regular milk was delicious, strong flavor and steaming hot. We ate an almond and a chocolate croissant - so tasty.

Not impressed at all! The guy didn't even understand the simple question of does this pastry have any type of filling? I got the almond pastry and it falls flat in every way. It taste nasty, it's a bit dense, it's flavorless, and leaves a nasty aftertaste, and the filling doesn't do any better because it's nonexistent. The guy answering the questions and ringing me up was literally eating out of a bag. That's unsanitary and unacceptable! I didn't even want to bother trying anything else. The $3 pastry was over priced and nowhere near worth it. Never again!

Sourdough bread is not authentic. I've had store bought sourdough that was better. The boule I purchased tasted like Italian bread

I took the cappuccino and free pastry deal. The service was very nice. The coffee was surprisingly decent, not amazing. The donut was definitely meh, weird tasting even. These are not high-quality baked goods, but it is a pleasant place to sit and take a break, while facing the green hills and beautiful architecture of the Greenwood cemetery.

The bread is fresh. You can see a glimpse of the inside of the factory as browse around in the small bakery. The workers seem to be friendly. However, they haven't disappointed me when it comes to their baked goods. Though I wish they were fully stocked with bread the other day. There was few leftover.

Despite parking being a virtual nightmare, this is one of the nicest bakeries I've been to in a long time with the old school industrial feel. I've had their chips before and they're amazing. But my friend sent me over to pick up some of their rosemary ciabatta (so soft!) and bagels (nice and chewy) prior you my visit to her new city. I snagged a few doughnut holes (ehhhh, they were tough) for the drive back to Bedstuy, next time I think a croissant would be better. There is a nice check-in special, next time I will go for it.

Just okay! They have a "free pastry with any large cappuccino/latte" deal that was probably the highlight! Unfortunately, the free pastry wasn't my favorite and I ended up only having a bite or two. The brownie was dry and the chocolate flavor was very watered down. I also ordered a cinnamon roll that was very lacking in cinnamon, but had a nice pecan/frosting ratio! The prices were great, and im intrigued enough to come back again and try another pastry. Maybe I just picked the wrong ones this time around!

Coffee was delicious the spanakopita pastry (free with purchase!) was also amazing - light and flaky but still filling as a morning snack. This place smells wonderful too! Everything is fresh and delicious. Staff was very helpful in making sure we were taken care of and apologized when it took a bit longer for coffee to come out.

I love me some sweet carbs & any place that sells some deliciously baked ones is fine by me. This place is huge and offers anything you can think of. I really loved thier breakfast sandwhich selections along with thier pastires. I highly recommend the sticky bun & if you want to eat real bread, don't overlook the loaf of bread!

I've gone pass BAKED IN BROOKLYN several times and decided I have to go in and see what they are all about. There is a large array of different kinds/choices of fresh baked breads,breakfast choices, other items to eat and bake goods along with a special of buying a drink and get a free pastry. What I loved the most and was truly impressed with,is the ATTENTION that they give their customers. I didn't feel pressured or rushed as I was placing and deciding on my choices for my order. The Female Manager and gentlemen that took my order were very attentive, someone from behind the counter came and personally gave me my cappuccino.... So I'LL BE RETURNING just for the service alone as well as the food. (Lol) By the way the food and drinks were good.

I pass by the bakery quite often while going to work and finally decided to come by to see what they have to offer. You can see the baker's working through the glass window to the left, so you know they're fresh. After the first visit, Baked in Brooklyn probably has my favorite croissants ever. The flaky buttery texture and the freshness is just hard to beat. It's gotten to the point where I bought by the dozen. Of course it'd be better to get it fresh daily, but it's too time consuming. However that doesn't affect the overall quality of the croissants. I did have one issue with the bakery, as I had just paid for my items and someone took the bag and handed it to someone else. Mind you, I just paid less than 15 seconds ago. Although they did replace all the items, they should be more mindful of who they're handing the bags to.

I been going here to buy fresh bakery goods for a while i came on yelp to leave a good review for the excellent bakery they sell and yelp offer me a free bagel if I buy a tea or coffee I went in store and showed the girl allen the yelp offer she told me no she don't give anything free I showed her my phone with the yelp picture she told me no again I still had place another order for 13$ have my receipt but I don't like bussiness that don't keep they word on any offer or discount

I made a mental note of this place when I was searching for apartments back in 2019 and just got around to trying it 3 years later. I'm very glad I did as it has some amazing donuts! The black and white one was to die for. All the goodness of a black and white cookie and then some! Walking in here makes you want to try everything. It was really hard to resist telling them I want one of each. I absolutely cannot wait to try their bread.

I came here on a Sunday morning and used the Yelp checkin deal. You get a free bagel with cream cheese with the purchase of a large tea or coffee. I got a tea, a toasted raisin bagel with cream cheese, and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was good, but tasted a little stale. Bagel with cream cheese was good and satisfying. They only have regular plain cream cheese. No flavors or vegan options. They were pretty busy on Sunday morning around 10:30am, so be prepared for a bit of a line. It does move though. If I go back I'd love to try the Cinnamon Raisin Loaf.

This places smells so good, it's actually kind of weird. You can be in the cemetery not even in viewing distance of the bakery and it smells like there's a tray of fresh bread right there. We walk around in the cemetery all the time, and we finally decided to actually check out the bakery. It's right near the front entrance of the cemetery, and easily accessible by bus (nearest subway is the F/G/R at 4th and 9th). Okay so there is some seating outside but this is mostly a to go store. They have everything and it's all fresh. Big challah style loaves (I doubt they're kosher or that challah has been taken), baguettes, rye, various rolls and pastries, too many to list here. Sweet and savory. We recommend the spinach pastries and the hot cross buns. Excellent quality and reasonable prices. Sometimes they have a deal where if you buy a drink you get a free pastry. Yum.

These guys kick butt but they could use a lesson in brand marketing. The label sticker was on my sandwich which I moved to my cup - see ! Looks way better! I have tried their cupcakes, donuts, and cookies. By far the cookies are the best in my opinion. This morning I thought that I would give their breakfast sandwich a try and it was delicious! It was served on ciabatta bread which is my new favorite bread now! I shall return

ordered spinach puff pastry, tomato onion bun x2, wheat warp (5 pcs) x4 , about 12 bucks. It is irresistible to eat the spinach puff pastry right away, (n then i realized i didn't take photo) it is a must try item. It was puffy, buttery, filling was creamy n portion is right. I pan fried the tomato onion bun when i get home, crispy bottom, soft bread, tasty onion n tomato, what a creative bun recipe. The wrap (5pcs) is under 2 bucks, good for breakfast egg n cheese (/egg n bacon ...etc) wrap, or lunch bean rice pork burrito . Choices of wraps - plain , wheat, pesto garlic, garden spinach, sundried tomato & basils... ** another highly recommened item, their popular "sweet roll" a sugary glazed version of cinnamon roll :D ** if the wraps come in square size (n can be teared off by half) as "roll-up", then it will ve superB!

Fresh bread! sour dough and cranberry with nuts is my favorite. I haven't had a chance to tried their popular sandwiches yet. Excellent service and staff. It can get really busy here. The staff members work very hard to make sure everything is efficient and getting their orders ASAP, which is greatly appreciated. This is also my go-to spot for birthday cakes. The vanilla cake is my favorite. It's not too sweet and the buttercream is fresh as well. It's not too thick.

Love mostly everything . We LOVE the donuts but my negative comment would be that the glaze falls apart and crumbles off quickly. So...often we are eating the dough from the donut and the glaze separately. It is kind of annoying. Wish the baker could fix that! On another note, the cranberry chicken salad is really good.

If your visiting Greenwood and looking for a sandwich and beverage no better spot BBS. But if your wanting to be indoors best be advised to grab a sit to save. There are only 6 indoors. You can eat outside but the metal tables do sort of heat up. Plus for some reason the Yellowjakets love bakery goods with meat. Just saying.

I'm been dying to try this place since I saw the owners on The Kitchen. Finally made it to Brooklyn and plan on hitting here servers times.

Super enjoyable bake shop with bakers in an open kitchen baking fresh items. A few stools lets travelers have a seat and enjoy their stay looking out the window to the sidewalk and street. Got two gorgeous over sized Italian, super seeded breads and a whole wheat everything bagel. Nice looking donuts but stuck with the basics. Can always try another day! Friendly helpful people. A good place to sit and have a coffee or tea at the counter by the window.

The pastries are good as they have a variety baked on premises. The location is perfect the service is good and the ambiance is decent no space to eat It's just enough for baking on premises and to take your order to go. It's a table outside though with chairs for your convenience.

Took my dog for an early morning grooming appointment and went to Baked in Brooklyn because it wasn't too far and the reviews looked pretty solid. Glad I did! I got a bacon egg and cheese with avocado on an everything bagel (as did my partner) and a brownie for later in the day. The BEC was so so so good! The bagel isn't thick, it has a nice crunch and the perfect amount of seasoning. Honestly I could go for another right now! The brownie was pretty good, HUGE, not too sweet despite having the chocolate chips and drizzle on top. The 3 items in total was about $16. Not too bad when at times we spend $30+ on breakfast delivery. Next time I would try one of their cinnamon rolls, they also looked gigantic and tasty. Saw loads of people coming in and out for bread and such. Will return, most likely next time my dog needs to be groomed!

Not only is the food BUSSIN but also really affordable compared to other bakeries in NYC. The vibes are immaculate and it's really cool to see the bread factory right behind the establishment! Highly recommend this place!

Why did I not discover this place earlier? I've seen their baked in Brooklyn pita chips, and love them. So when I saw the store, I knew I would fall in love with it. When you step in, to the left you'll see where all the magic happens. All the chef making baked goods. Then, there are so many different variety of breads to choose from which ranges from $1.25 to $6. There's also cakes and other baked goods. If you're a bread lover, then this is a must go to place.

I have definitely fallen in love with their fresh baked bread! The soft fluffy inside with the crusty outside. It reminds me of the scene in Ratatouille where Colette squeezes the bread and has that smile on her face. =) Anyway, I find myself coming back every week to grab their fresh baquette, raisin rolls and brioche rolls. I recently ordered a birthday cake from them and it was surprisingly very good. A few years ago, I grabbed donuts and brownies from them and didn't think they were good so my review back then was a 3 star. Now having had their breads, this place is a solid 5 star! Their staff deserves 5 stars alone! They follow social distancing and are super friendly and nice. A man was extremely rude to me and didn't follow social distance rules while I was placing an order. He ended saying something racist and derogatory to me (which I didn't hear) but the cashier heard him and reprimanded him saying "DO NOT SPEAK to our customers that way!" I didn't get her name but THANK YOU for being a kind human being! FYI: I did say something and stood up for myself but to have someone have your back in this day and age is amazing.

Holy brownie heaven ! Legitimately, the best brownie I ever had. Not to chocolatey, not bitter, perfect texture, slightly crispy flaky thin outer layer with a perfectly moist center. We got breakfast sandwiches too that were perfect.

You know that feeling when you get out of the graveyard and you're just vying for some bread? Well dream no longer because Baked By Brooklyn is perfectly located to assuage your grief! When I worked in Industry City I'd walk past this way coming home strictly to get a loaf of that cranberry walnut bread, which sells out by the end of the day because it is just that great. In fact I'm a pretty big fan of all of the fresh breads here, they've all got a unique spin that really makes the trek out here worthwhile. Since COVID they've been great about limiting customers and wrapping each individual loaf so there's no fear of contamination (as it used to be more of a tongs n bag your own situation). Bread's just as good as it ever was... and if that cranberry walnut is sold out sometimes they have little individual roll versions instead. Their cupcakes and cookies ain't bad neither, but the bread is really where this place shines.

ohmygosh where do even I start?? Have y'all been to Baked yet? Walking into this store is like walking into a dream. All baked goods all the time. This is what I imagine Heaven will be like... Donuts. Bread. Cakes. Scones. Cookies. YES PLEASE! First of all - the donut/doughnuts at Baked are AMAZING. Some of the best donuts I've had in NYC. They are so big and so fluffy and just sooo good. If you like a yeasty/doughy* donut then you HAVE to try these. The glazed with raspberry jelly are my fav. But the glazed, cinnamon sugar and frosted are all really good too. So basically alllllll of the donuts are awesome. Oo! And they're only $1.75 a piece. Sooo yeah, I'll take 6. And then there are the Challah Rolls. A 6-pack sells for $2.50 and these are the softest and squishiest rolls ever. They have a hint of sweetness and I just love them so much. The Focaccia Rolls are also top notch. 4 rolls = $1.25 and come in two different shapes for all of your sandwich making needs. You can get them plain or sprinkled with rosemary and other i-talian seasonings. We picked up a package recently and made some pretty excellent meatball sandwiches with them, just saying. Then there's the Coffee Cake. Melt in your mouth cinnamon sugar deliciousness. Huge slice. Only a couple bucks. Amazing. I know what you're thinking - 'come on - not everything can be amazing'. And you're right. I personally did not love their Pumpkin Scone... twas a bit dry for me. And their apple crumb cake is ok. But considering how good their other stuff is - I can look past the scones. It's probably a good thing I don't live near Baked, or near the R train b/c I'd be here every-single-morning picking up treats. ::sigh:: its just so so good. * totally comparable to Dough!

Baked in Brooklyn, this is one of the safest places to stop by. The cops in my neighborhood live at this Baked in Brooklyn, lol. So it's great to see the city supporting local businesses. Ok now on to why I even wrote this review. My Wife has been talking about Baked in Brooklyn forever! And we just happened to move near one. Every week we pick up fresh baked bread to die for here! She loves the Honey Wheat bread and I can only eat Sourdough. My love for Sourdough is at a high and this place delivers in flavor and freshness. We love the cupcakes but had to stop buying them, it wasn't enough for us. So I moved us over to the pound cake, same price and lasts longer in the house. I like to keep it simple with Baked in Brooklyn, breads and cakes. They do have pie which I haven't tried just yet but I guess Pride will be the perfect time to pick up one.

My sister had these scrumptious slices and cookies from this place. My absolute favorite is the butter pecan! The cake was not to sweet and most importantly moist not dry. I would like to check out this place in the future for the sandwiches that look delicious and maybe another pecan slice. You will not be disappointed!

The bread is really good can't say the same for all the other baked goods. Customer service can be a bit rough at times as there isn't form of line control. One time I stepped to the register as a customer walked away from that register and the cashier went bonkers and began yelling at me. Zero culture but I assume they work hard?!?!?

I absolutely adore Baked By Brooklyn. I stop in here some mornings for breakfast and coffee and everything I've tried on the menus so far has not disappointed me. This morning I asked for avocado toast with a slice of lox. It was absolutely mouth watering (and expensive lol) Their pricing is a bit on the higher side but honestly the quality is above your local bodega so it's to be expected. If you're in the area def stop by this neighborhood staple !

I ordered 2 dozen brioche slider buns from the bakery for a family dinner a week in advance. Because of COVID-19, you need to order a week in advance. I used to be able to order the day of but because of supply chain issues, you need to order ahead of time. The brioche buns were fresh and the price wasn't that bad ($10 for 2 dozen). I also like their other breads. However, I really wish they would update their website with a catering menu. I've called different times and the staff can't seem to answer questions about what they have in stock.

Ok so I've give enough items here a chance and I am yet to enjoy a single one . On my second visit , I tried a lava cake , some mini bread rolls and a scone . All were pretty disappointing . The lava cake was extremely heavy . Like it would be considered a weapon in a good fight sorta heavy . It was also quite dry . Taste wise I know I can make a better cake and I've never even made a cake like this before . That's how low quality this cake was ! The mini bread rolls were a little better . But after having a similar roll from Breads Bakery earlier in the week you see that there are levels to this . This mini bread roll would be in kindergarten whereas the mini rolls from Breads is university level . The bread looked pretty but just left me at hello . The bite was too tough and I used way too much energy to pull it apart despite having great canines . Flavor wise I'd give it an average rating but that doesn't cut it for me . Finally, the scone . The scone would be great for a workout as it was the most dense and heaviest scone I ever held by far ! After holding the hefty scone in my hand I decided to pass it down to a family member . I spared myself the obvious impending disappointment. I am convinced these bakers are complete amateurs . There is no way these kinda baked goods should be sold as a representation of being baked in Brooklyn . It's a terrible reflection .

Great selection of fresh baked breads. The lox and cream cheese on a bagel was amazing. The tomatoes added a extra bit of juiciness I didn't know I needed.

Guess I'll never know what it's like, but I just went in, and there was nobody there. Some guy was behind the counter and he took off his apron and told me he had just gotten off. I waited for five minutes for somebody to show up and nobody did. Why should I go back?

I've been here many times. The food, coffee and baking goods are pretty good. The service needs a lot of work. I find it to be disorganized and frustrating. Even using your credit cards a chore. And I can't have a receipt? You are supposed to wait outside for your food. The COVID restrictions aren't necessary anymore either. Come on baked in Bklyn. Get your customer service together. It shouldn't take 14 minutes to get a coffee. Peek hours. Add staff. Losing business man.
