Well we tried to go to Pizza Palace, a drive in pizza place in Knoxville, but they decided to close for the week, so we ended up about a mile away at Baker Boy Pizza! Very cool little place, especially for just happening by! Cool stuff up on the walls, rock music playing and skateboarding on the tele. They have foot long cheese sticks (rolling pin) and very tasty pizza! It is NY style, a bit on the thicker side, which I enjoyed. Also love that they have bottled pop available from Boylan out of NY.

Google
Everything was great! The friendly staff, the atmosphere, the service, the food, beer, the works! Not a complaint to be had! The restaurant itself is the nicest establishment in a 10 mile radius. We ordered the 16 inch pizza, half Manhattan Project and half pepperoni. Something about the sauce is interesting and separates it from other pizzas we’ve had. It’s very good and different, always refreshing!

Google
First time visit! The pizza crust was crisp and flavorful with the perfect amount of sauce & cheese (think NYC style here). They have a fantastic lunch special! The wings looked amazing and we will try them on our next visit! 🍕😍🍕

Google
This place is the bomb! I've eaten here multiple times and it's great. The gyro pizza is awesome along with the ricotta or notta. Some people say it's expensive but the portions are huge! We got the chicken, bacon, mushroom white pizza today and it was delicious. Gonna add a balsamic drizzle next time. Also, got some rolling pins and they did not disappoint! Keep it up, guys!

Google
Baker Boy Pizza is never a question, it’s ALWAYS the answer! No matter which location you choose, your face will be rocked! Amazing food, always fresh, hot, and full of flavor! Garlic parm wings are life though. Everyone working is always happy to help! I’d recommend going for the lunch special, it’s such a great deal! 🤘🏼🫶🏼🍕

Google
The beers and pizza are amazing here. A great place to take the family for lunch/dinner after visiting the Zoo! It's super quick drive from the Knoxville Zoo. Very friendly staff and I'd rate the pizza 8.5/10 The cheese sticks are HUMONGOUS! Seriously insane. This was a fun place to stumble upon

Google
Some of the best pizza I've had, Rolling Pin were huge and delicious. Single cheese for $5 is a crazy price for the size. We had a half Meatball Me Outside half Ricotta Alotta. I'll be making this a go to pizza spot for me and my family. Top Notch quality even when they were understaffed.

Great atmosphere and even better pizza. Crispy crust was perfect. Love that they are partnered with East by Orange Hat

Yelp
If you are passing through the area, please stop at Baker Boy Pizza and order the Rolling Pins -- their homemade, signature GIANT mozzarella sticks, which they serve with a spicy red Mariana sauce. Nom!!! And, take it from me, either eat it inside the restaurant or in your car. You want to let it sit for a few minutes to avoid burning your mouth... but then you want to eat it before it gets too firm. Take it from me, your mind will be blown. I haven't yet tried Baker Boy's pizza yet, but I've heard good things! I'll definitely be picking up a pie next time (along with my Rolling Pins).

Yelp
this was the second time I've tried the pizza at the Halls location. The first time was way overcooked and the second time was way too greasy. There won't be a third time.
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
We have visited the Halls location several times. Could not figure out what was so spicy in the pizza. Each time we ask the staff while ordering and we get mixed information. Seems the staff is uneducated on the products they are selling. Not sure about today as we had the same situation staff are clueless. So we figured out it is the marinara on the pizza that is too spicy. Pizza is kinda NY style but not exactly. I don't know. I think for the money and spice we'll seek out other options from here on out. Oh and today at 4:30pm on a Saturday the place was a dead zone. Not sure the location was a good choice and could have chosen a location on Emory Road on or around the interstate.

Greg S.

Yelp
As a New York Stater (not NYC), it's similar, but not true NY style pizza. It's good, not great. Marinara has too much spice. And, as a cheese lover, I had hoped that the monster cheese logs would be better, but all that you taste is the breading. The mozzarella cheese is bland and doesn't have the hint of salt that it should. I'm sure that we'll return for the pizza, but not for the cheese logs. A bit pricey too. Overall B+

Yelp
I am not one to typically leave a review, and I also don't normally like pizza. That being said, Baker Boy Pizza is fantastic. The ingredients are premium, the sauce isn't overly sweet (to my liking at least). They recently added a white sauce pizza that is also superb. The staff are so friendly and welcoming; the music and decor are fun. You HAVE to go to Baker Boy.

Yelp
I was surprised how amazing the service was! The food was made quickly and it was delicious. We got a few sodas and they were so good; the cream soda was the best I've had in my life! They gave us extra ranch which was really nice, since I'm a huge ranch person! Would love to come again!

Yelp
Phenomenal food better service if you don't like it, just quit it. Come by with an appetite or die trying, fresh AF 2!

Yelp
Very good pizza. Crust is a little crunchy than I prefer, but still really good. It's attached to a little bar where you can grab drinks as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
google avatar

Olga G.

Yelp
Tasty pizza and great service go try them out. My only con is this is pizza&wings place only. I like pasta and Salad lol But I would definitely come back. Their pizza is absolutely amazing!
google avatar

Campbell L.

Yelp
Food was amazing!!! Pizza was so delicious. Dough was perfect and cheese, sauce and toppings only helped! Staff was kind, funny and extremely friendly. The ambiance next door was great with beer and outdoor area! We WILL be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Called in an order, picked it up. Tasted great. Cost mare that domino, but rates better also

Yelp
The pizza is SO GOOD!!!! For real for real!!!! And the craft beer very very good and tasty! And the customer service is totally awesome!

Yelp
Probably the largest slices of pizza I have seen and they are definitely tasty; New York Style pizza and the Rolling Pin Cheese Sticks: I advise buying one and splitting it: they are not that big place:and more a tuned to college students and adults I think:Also had order of cinnamon sticks And they were delicious: Had to take half of them home also: Kind of served yourself place If you want Regular Drinks you have to go to bar That is connected next door? Not to bad on price $$ ; :) Will definitely be coming back

Yelp
New pizza spot on Cherry St in Knoxville. This areas is a bit of a food island, so having a good option for lunch here is GREAT. You order at the counter. 2 guys were working when we were here and there were about 6 tables of others eating or waiting for food. The guys were knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions and options. The options are simple. The 24" pizza is so big 3 grown men still had 3 slices left over. The pizza took a little longer than expected to arrive at our table. We ordered a basic pepperoni pizza. I like sauce, but this one had a little too much for my taste. It was good though. The pepperoni slices were small, but plentiful. There was something with a little kick, maybe the pepperoni, maybe the sauce, I'm not certain which but I liked it. The restaurant shares a space with a brewery. We sat on the brewery side not realizing they were different. We had Boylan's Bottling Company bottled drinks because that is their only option. They weren't great. I am giving 4 stars for too saucy, longer than typical wait, and no fountain drinks, but these place could easily earn a 5 star vote on a subsequent visit if they get some better drink options.

Yelp
Baker Boy feels like the kind of place that would be come a core memory in a coming of age movie. Going in on a Sunday afternoon the place was packed out with families and at least two little league teams. No one is a stranger here. Despite it being busy the owner took a minute to chat with us and make sure the order was correct before we left. The pizza itself was Huge. New York style slices with all the typical toppings and some non-typical options. We got 1/2 cheese 1/2 sausage and pepperoni but I will 100% be back to try on of the honey topped slices. With a bit of bite to the red sauce, I have a feeling the sweetness of the honey will balance it out perfectly. I have a feeling Baker Boy will quickly become a Knoxville staple.

Yelp
The staff is hard at work in there, keeping the energy high! Enthusiastically greeting folks coming in and offering suggestions. Crust is chef's kiss for me as I prefer a bit of crunch... ‍ Wings are delicious! The specialty pizzas are the star in my opinion, and if you think you've had good buffalo chicken pizza before- try this one; because it's FANTASTIC! The 24 inch is enormous, each slice is bigger than your head. Make sure you have room in your vehicle and some arm strength to transport it! Those giant slices could easily be cut in half.

Yelp
I stop here based on reviews here on yelp, all false, probably some of the worst pizza I've ever had in Knoxville yet. The service was very quick, but that's about it, guy making pizza had cigarette hanging off his beanie, just what customers wanna see when someone handling/preparing food. The place is well decorated inside more like a tattoo studio than a pizza restaurant. Extremely expensive, $45 dollars for two small pizzas. Would not come back after this, way too expensive for the poor quality of food, sauce was extremely spicy, cheese was very greasy.

Yelp
Baker Boy Pizza is a newcomer to Knoxville's crowded pizza market. They are so new, in fact, that I had to get their phone number from a neighbor, but I will include it on Yelp. So I ordered a 24in pizza by phone and picked it up to enjoy at home. Baker Boy staff is very helpful and friendly. Service is excellent and they can crank out a pie in 20 minutes, if you order ahead. The pizza was pretty good. The dough has a nice stretch and a little bit of chew. The cheese was rich and had a good stretch. I really liked the pepperoni. The pepperoni was a little bit sweet and salty. The sauce was pretty neutral...a very basic, slightly bland, pizza sauce. I think the sauce is where Baker Boy can improve and elevate their pizza craft to the next level. I would love to see this pizza with a spicy marinara or even a garlicky, roma sauce. Overall, I really like the place. Knoxville has a crowded pizza market and it's difficult for a newcomer to get a foothold. They have good pizza, great service, and the location is convenient to me, but not a great spot, for a premium pizza. I definitely recommend trying their pizza. They offer by the slice and there's a local beer place next door.

Yelp
If you want great food with a great beer from Orange Hat brewery, come by this place! The vibe is really cool as well. Jeff is a great owner who doesn't know a stranger. Love that this cool place opened up on the east side! Awesome side outdoor seating with cornhole boards and picnic tables! Great area for families and even dogs. I will definitely be returning!

Yelp
Y'all. I drove across town to try this spot out. I'm a tough pizza critic, and I'll be honest there's two pizzas in town or close to it that I will eat at, out of the abundance of pizza spots we have around here. It. Was. Worth. The. Drive. Took my kiddos in and ordered them a slice (which they were kind enough to cut in half for me knowing they couldn't eat a whole slice themselves) of pepperoni. We also ordered their Rolling Pins. I'd go as far to say that they are the best mozzarella sticks in town hands down. We also ordered their buffalo chicken pizza...because "Something in the Orange" is its name, and how do you resist that name?! So. Dang. Delicious. Good quality ingredients, huge slices, crust was perfection, loaded with flavor. When they say that is a family friendly joint they mean it. The staff honestly catered to my kids who loved watching them prep food in the window by our table, and loved interacting with the guys working today. The whole vibe of the place is honestly perfection. My kids can't wait to go back. Give them a try it's definitely worth it! Also it's attached to Orange Hat Brewery so that's always a plus!

Patricia M.

Yelp
Very expensive pizza that wasn't good enough to warrant the cost. I asked for water and was given a plastic cup to get my own from a facet in the wall. No ice.

Mike M.

Yelp
Awesome Pizza!!! Awesome People!!! Couldn't have asked for a better experience and flavor fulfillment
google avatar

Margaret B.

Yelp
Pizza was delicious: thin crust, flavorful tomato sauce and tasty toppings. We ordered the Atomic Veggie and added chicken. Very good! Staff were smiling and energetic. Place was hopping with folks ordering dine-in and takeout. My prediction: they and Orange Hat next door are going to outgrow the restaurant space and parking lot.
google avatar

Tracy L.

Yelp
Definitely recommend this place! Some of the best pizza in Knoxville, in my opinion. We will definitely be back. I wish they offered meatballs as an appetizer, but the meatball pizza was yummy! Definitely recommend trying the rolling pins (huge mozzarella sticks).
google avatar

Chris T.

Yelp
For a town the size of Knoxville, I can't imagine anyone complaining about this place. It's damn good and the people are peppy, happy, and friendly. Unfortunate that some people are rating based on factors from the brewery next door, which has nothing to do with this place, other than sharing a wall. It's a great spot and I'd recommend giving it a try.

Trevlyn S.

Yelp
Amazing pizza with quality ingredients. A millions times better than chain pizza. The 16" pizza is huge and was plenty enough to feed my family. Definitely worth the extra money!

Chelsea S.

Yelp
After many recommendations we finally decided to give Baker Boy a try. The rolling pins were fresh and SO good! We opted for the 16in Yes Honey for the pizza and it was the best pizza I've had in a while with plenty of leftovers. The tables were clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was fresh! We will be recommending this place to all of our friends and we will be back
google avatar

Travis L.

Yelp
No table service order when you walk in very trendy for a pizza place we ordered the 24" pizzas best pizza around will be back for more

Yelp
Super friendly and helpful staff! Delish pizza. GIGANTIC portions. Seriously needed TWO take out boxes just to fit the rest of the pizza left over. Unfortunately did not try the dessert pizza, but is 100% on my list for the next visit.

Tyler J.

Yelp
Great experience! The team working was extremely accommodating and kind even though we got there close to closing time. The pizza was simple, not over complicated with ingredients, but tasty and fresh. Will be going back with friends to try the 24" pizza and mozzarella rolling pins!

Dylan M.

Yelp
Vibes were great, food was great and the service was untouchable. It looks like they are having a good time in there and it shows. You won't see many business owners personally checking on customers and pitching in like you do here and they definitely made a regular customer outta me today!

Jim M.

Yelp
Best pizza this side of the Mississippi. The other side too. Team is awesome. Honey, lemon on pizza. Really. Yes, Really!!! Just great!
google avatar

Jerrod H.

Yelp
This place kicks ass. Not exactly my favorite pizza style but it's obvious the owners are all in and treat everyone like they are best friends. Don't get me wrong, the pizza is good, just a little too thick/doughy for my taste. The lemon wedge squeezed on the cheese is a nice unexpected touch. The skater vibes are killer, any place playing Turnstile over the PA is the shit! You can feel the pride the employees all have for this place. So glad this opened where it did and not in the typical parts of town. Looking forward to this place becoming a Knoxville staple!

Jim M.

Yelp
Why order from a nation wide chain that does not care about your satisfaction. BBP has the best pizza in ktown, but the team there is even better.
google avatar

Sydney U.

Yelp
Had it for an event at school and the pizza was amazingly delicious!!! Will visit the facility now.

Yelp
My new favorite pizza in Knoxville. Friendly staff, clean shop, AMAZING pizza. I'll add some pics next time I'm there. It looked so good I forgot to grab an image before I dove in.

William G.

Yelp
The pizza is great and they have craft sodas as well. The service was also friendly and quick.

Cody P.

Yelp
The pizza was delicious and the staff was fantastic. There are plenty of pizza places in Knoxville, but only a couple good ones. Glad to say Baker Boy Pizza Company is among the top. My son and I drove from west Knoxville to give it a try and we were not disappointed. I got a pepperoni slice and he got a cheese one which the owner recommended we squeeze lemon juice on it. It was incredible! We'll definitely be back soon

Nicholas W.

Yelp
Best pizza in Knoxville Service is top notch will damn sure. Be back next time I'm in Tennessee

Ron L.

Yelp
Great food. Love it. Need a pickup window or line for online order. Tell the guy behind the counter to not be a rude a hole when someone asks where they should go to pick up their order. One person said right here and I asked at the counter or at dine in line. Completely uncalled for snapping at me. Food is good but one person ruined experience.
google avatar

Hayden M.

Yelp
Excellent food! Staff was amazing and fun! The place has a great vibe, a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!

David H.

Yelp
Best pizza I've had since we moved to Knoxville. Wish we lived closer. All starts with the fresh dough. Turns into the best crust. And the beer from orange hat pairs perfectly with pizza. Will definitely be back!

Nicholas C.

Yelp
A great slice. The dough is right. The size is right. The price is right. I'll be hitting this spot up often

Patricia H.

Yelp
I tried the new Baker Boys pizza place on North Cherry Street last night. It's a very nice, redecorated place and looked very clean. Employees were welcoming and friendly. It's also attached to a beer restaurant, sorry I forgot the name of it, but it also looked very nice and inviting. Lots of people there enjoying themselves. Guess I didn't really think about how really large a 24 inch pizza is..2ft! It was huge! I did half pepperoni and half cheese. Four of us could barely finish one slice. It was very good and I'll definitely return but for a smaller size. The one thing I didn't understand was the use of lemon slices on the pizza. Seems a waste of resources, aka $$. Good luck and wishing you much success, Baker Boys. Just what the area needed.

Erin S.

Yelp
We decided to order from here after a friend had brought food to us previously from Baker Boys. I called to inquire about the cheese sticks, no mention of them not having them in stock. Attempted to call in an order which they said they don't do. My husband went and ordered at the store. They were out of the cheese sticks, which they could of said on the phone when I called to inquire. This was the main reason to order from Baker Boys. My husband ordered a 24inch pizza which was burnt, if I had been there I would of asked for a refund. Highly disappointed in lack of customer service, inability to order online or over phone. We were so excited since we had tried the food before when a friend brought it to our house. Not sure we will ever order again. For the price of the food, the expectation was way higher. The quality was just not there tonight. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

Danny B.

Yelp
Great pizza and huge slices. Tried their cheese pizza with a lemon squeeze on top - it was wonderful! Will be back for sure!!!

David R.

Yelp
I have had 3 different pizza's from Baker Boys and some brew from Orange Hat next door. The pizza is great (portions, cheese and sauce ratio) cannot say enough for Jeff and his crew. Give it a go..!
