I had a delightful experience here. Super friendly front desk service. Quick and delicious croissant sandwich..it was crispy and soft just the way you’d want it. (Ate it too quick to get a picture!) Would love if they had an espresso machine but the coffee was good and had multiple creamer options. Love the neighborhood feel and the family vibes. Good stuff y’all!

Google
The gem of the Baker neighborhood! My husband and I go here often and enjoy bringing friends and family who visit. Service is fantastic and staff very welcoming. They also partner with local businesses and non-profits to give back to the community. The egg and cheese croissant is delicious and they will sub avocado for meat if vegetarian. Burritos are also good (plus they have soyrizo!).

Google
A hidden gem in Baker Neighborhood. Come for the great breakfast burritos served all day, stay for the delightful, dog-friendly, hidden patio.

Google
Very nice neighborhood spot. All the food was delicious and the service was great.

Google
Had the cheesesteak, it was mid. Taste was okay. Similar to cheesesteak available at diners. Order was ready at stated time. Would come back to try a different sandwich.

Google
What a sweet gem of a find! Highly recommend. Excellent, clean food at a great price. Small family business. Always love supporting the local and small. 💜

Google
Best breakfast in Baker by far. Love that there are options for everyone. The breakfast burrito with no cheese and vegan sausage is my new go-to. Also the most convenient shop for basic groceries - eggs, bread, produce. Friendly staff, dog friendly, great outdoor seating.

Spacemansam

Google
Family owned local spot. Very friendly customer service! My first time in and Bri recommended the cubano, which was delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
Beautiful food, vibes, and people. What more could you ask for? Oh and a/c and a patio.

Yelp
Experience is always really good! Nice staff, they have amazing carnitas, some staples, and a handful of grab and go items. I am bummed they stopped putting a fried egg on the breakfast sandwich and now it's scrambled eggs (no modification) - really wish they'd go back to fried egg with runny yolk. Otherwise their breakfast bowl is really good ^_^ haven't tried their lunch yet.

Caitlin C.

Yelp
This is by far the best croissant sandwich we have had! We have been obsessed with it! Just make sure you get the egg over-easy and not scrambled. It makes it 100000x better!! Also staff is always incredibly friendly!!

Ellery C.

Yelp
Great locally owned convenience store and sandwich shop! Their carnitas breakfast tacos are a must try and you can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches.

Rikki L.

Yelp
Incredible food and even better service. I hit them with a big breakfast burrito order first thing in the morning and not only did they accommodate my request, Bre was incredibly helpful (even when I used the wrong card), and they were ready WAY sooner than she quoted me.

Yelp
Baker Market is a classic local business. Nestled at the corner of 4th and Galapago in the Historic Baker Neighborhood of Denver, the market has all the daily necessities. From coffee and tea, to fresh produce and household items, to candy and beverages, to spices and a Deli for fresh foods, it has everything one would need. I ordered the bacon breakfast croissant. My companion ordered the Baker Salad. Both hearty and delicious and made with care. There is a nice, enclosed outdoor seating area in the back. And clean restrooms. The overall market was clean, had very kind and attentive staff, and the prices were reasonably priced. There is definitely room for expansion if necessary as time passes. It's nice to have a local, community-based business in the neighborhood. Visit often. You'll be glad you did.

Yelp
Quick service & great food. I came for a breakfast croissant and coffee. Their sandwich is $ 6.99 with egg and your choice of cheese & meat. I got corned beef, gouda cheese and avocado. Nice & colorful sandwich. My coffee was the Four Leaf Roastery Vienna roast. They had 5 different creamers to mix in. Nice strong dark roast. I gave a 20% tip, all for $ 15.65; I will back for lunch soon. They have 4 tables with padded benches & metal chairs. There is a wrought metal table outside with an umbrella for all fresco dining. Light music playing (Amy Winehouse at the moment). They also have various foods, fresh breads and pastries for sale.

Yelp
Amazing food, great service, and such a great atmosphere. If I could rate this shop any higher, I would. The burritos are the best and if you're not looking for a burrito the sandwich with the cranberry sauce is to die for!!!!!

Yelp
Such a great little place. Breakfast burritos are amazing, sandwiches might be even better.

Yelp
Figured I try one of the sandwiches while picking up a loaf of ciabatta......glad that I did it was the best steak sandwich I have had in some time & the service was very helpful! Ambiance is simple with outside seating as well.

Yelp
Love having this place in the neighborhood. They've got many staples - dairy, lunch meat, pantry, and even some bathroom needs. Dried peppers? Yup! Fresh ice cream? That too. Friendly staff? Absolutely! And wow, their breakfast sandwiches are worth waking up for! Just head in, order, and in just a few minutes you'll have one of the best morning bites ever. I believe you can pre-order online, too. Go and enjoy!

Yelp
Great little neighborhood spot - reminded me of a bodega in a good way. Pro tip: get the croissant breakfast sandwich with carne asada. So good.

Yelp
A cute little local market, exceptionally clean and inviting. I had the breakfast burrito and drip coffee, both delicious, and enjoyed the indoor dining. Folks were very friendly. I enjoyed so much I'm considering coming back for a lunch sandwich. They were very prompt, nice for a business breakfast, but I imagine this would be a nice place to have breakfast on the weekend.
google avatar

Annamaria L.

Yelp
Don't have pics of our breakfast but it wouldn't have done it justice anyways. Bad ass breakfast burritos! We were staying around the corner for a couple days and this was recommended. I see why! Cutest little market but great options! Coffee was great also.

Yelp
This is a cute little local market/eatery with everything you could need. I live in the neighborhood so maybe I'm biased, but this place has the best handheld breakfast burritos in Denver. I often stop in on my morning walks with my dog to grab some breakfast and an iced coffee and they always give me a dog treat to bring out to him which is always appreciated. In addition to the amazing breakfast burritos and variety of sandwiches sandwiches they've also got a nice selection of essentials for when I just need to grab a couple things. This place is the best!

Cheryl A.

Yelp
Awesome little neighborhood sandwich shop. I had the "Gobbler" and it was a really great turkey sandwich on a croissant. My friend and I enjoyed their atmosphere and the staff were super friendly and helpful in guiding us through the sandwich options. We'll be back!

Clio V.

Yelp
This place is the best! Great people, delicious food, and great spot to hang out. They even have some grocery type items like flour, soap, eggs, ect. All of the food is really reasonably priced and high quality too. Can't say enough good things about baker market, it really checks all the boxes.

Janelle G.

Yelp
Great breakfast burrito (carne) Get it with the hot green chili Little bodega So good for the hood ... Support Small business

Yelp
An excellent addition to the neighborhood, this time with roots in the neighborhood (the owners of the biz grew up in Baker). Breakfast burritos and sandwiches that are made to order and are really good (too many other options are prepackaged, microwaved, or mostly tortilla). Also tons of stuff you need when you don't feel like doing a full blown grocery trip. DIY roomy back patio with plenty of shade and a few seats out front for sipping on the coffee etc. It is really really nice to have a mellow and friendly place to hang out and wake up in the neighborhood.

Yelp
I'm so glad this little gem opened. It was so needed! Whether you don't have a car or simply have a last minute need and don't want to drive all the way to the grocery store, Baker Market is so convenient. The coffee is from Boulder and is amazing. And I don't have to stand in the long line at Sweet Action ice cream anymore because they have about 6 flavors including some vegan options. The owner and staff are really welcoming and friendly. Welcome to the neighborhood Baker Market, I hope you're around for a long time!

Annette K.

Yelp
Our favorite neighborhood gem. Delicious carne asada breakfast burritos and equally fantastic breakfast (and other!) sandwiches. Every time we go in, we wonder how it's not slammed. Also has some grocery essentials. We are so grateful for Baker Market!

Yelp
Great little find here in the Arts District! Hubby had a tasty egg and bacon on toasted bread and I had the oatmeal with fruit and honey. I'm impressed for a little carry out and grocery. The lady running the place is lovely as well. I highly recommend it.

Yelp
My husband and I fell in love with this adorable coffee shop/market during our visit to Denver. It's within walking distance from my sister's house where we were staying and it has such a cozy, friendly vibe! The latte with almond milk, honey and cinnamon is out of this world! I had the oatmeal with fresh berries and nuts and my husband enjoyed an egg, ham and cheese panini. Perfect spot for locals and visitors alike!

Yelp
I love this place. It feels like a NYC bodega but much cleaner and quainter. I moved to the Baker neighborhood a week ago and I've already been here 5+ times. Eileen is so sweet and lovely to talk to. The paninis, egg sandwiches, and breakfast burritos are top notch, and they make a solid chai. I love that they've got a selection of Sweet Action ice cream (for the days I'm too lazy to walk down to South Broadway). They've also got smoothies and milkshakes - perfect for warm summer days. And best yet, the back patio is dog friendly, and the owner and staff are dog lovers!

Tony L.

Yelp
these people hate men and dont even sell a loaf of sliced bread if you leave money in tip jar they wont even look up and say thanks dont know why i tipped they werent nice at all i just figured it would help keep them open a little longer since every other biz at that location never lasted long

Yelp
I just needed an onion. I'd ran to the store to make a dinner for family and forgot an onion. Thank God the Baker Market is in the neighborhood just a few blocks away with little necessities: onions, garlic, tomatoes, avocado, canned food, condiments, snacks, and a little counter with made to order breakfast and lunch.
google avatar

Yelp
Outstanding hidden neighborhood gem. Amazing selection of hot pressed sandwiches with gourmet ingredients. There is a selection of Sweet Action Ice Cream with interesting flavors much beyond the ordinary. Ozo organic coffee offered as well. Nice dog friendly patio in the back. Also across the street from a park if you'd like to picnic. I had the Italian Roast Beef. Loaded with meat and fresh ingredients. The accompanied potatoes salad was super good. Sandwhich, side and bottomless soda for $7.99 is a great value. I sampled some just made salsa. Very Good! Eileen the owner is a sweet-heart and I hope for her Baker Neighborhood Market success.

Yelp
This place saved the day. We got into Denver late for a convention and happened to be staying around the corner from Baker Neighborhood Market. The next morning I was in a pinch for breakfast as I had an early morning class at the Convention Center. When I looked on yelp and found this Market. Got some delicious chorizo and bacon burritos ($3.99) and the tamales hit the spot ($1.99). Will likely go back and pick up some eggs/bagals, milk and other groceries, all much appreciated since the closest grocery store is 0.7 miles away!!!

Yelp
Love that there is a real local market run by a local owner who is super friendly and welcoming. Clean space, nice selection of daily goods, many offerings on the menu! Support a quality local business and business woman and mom! She is looking to grow and offer more so step up neighborhood and frequent the Baker Neighborhood Market!!
google avatar

Yelp
This quaint coffee shop/market has amazing food and coffee and the owner is super sweet and helpful. Great local spot, and they sell sweet action ice cream for your sweet tooth. A good amount of basic groceries are also in stock. Great little shop!

Yelp
This is a neat little place. Interesting selection of groceries. There are a couple of different places to sit with some games and things to keep you occupied. The food is cooked in the back. They were out of breakfast burritos in the warmer but, no problem, the lady made me a fresh one. I din't ask what was in it, but I heard they were really good and I was not disappointed. They were quite good! I will go back the next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
5 stars? This place is on the verge of getting shut down due to sanitation and lack of regulation. First and foremost, did you hire a dog as a cook? I only ask because there is a dog in the kitchen. The dog has a food and water bowl in the kitchen, so this must be a day to day violation. There was far too much dog hair IN MY FOOD to even consider eating it. The dog also sat at my feet and begged for the food I had. The dog jumped up and stood with its front legs on my lap while it begged. The dog repeatedly and obnoxiously barked and whined while trying to get my food. When the dogs owner finally stepped out of the kitchen to get his dog off of me, he did so with gloves on his hands. Aside from the dog being a massive issue, the food itself was questionable and didn't quite match the description of what I ordered. Had the dog not been present, the food alone would have kept me from ever returning. Food and dog aside, I wouldn't return due to the overall lack of cleanliness. I had to remove a spider building a web to get my own self serve coffee. Far from the coffee, where I sat and tried to eat, there were a gross amount of spiderwebs between the walls and table. There were also an alarming number of egg sacks. How hard is it to dust once a month? I assume this means none of the tables or surfaces have been wiped down or sanitized in quite some time. I love dogs, food and coffee. I don't care for spiders, so maybe that makes me biased. This place won't be around long - please avoid it until then.

Yelp
Baker Neighborhood Market is awesome. The owner and employees are super nice. Great place to grab a snack, lunch or coffee. Go support this great hyper local business!

Yelp
I really liked this place. It is a mix between a neighborhood Bodega, a 7-11 and a pure coffee shop. It doesn't do any one of those all the way but all of them in a way that would be nice to have in your neighborhood. They serve OZO coffee and make nice sandwiches and have shelves full of last minute items from baking soda to breakfast cereal. Not over the top just a nice little shop with exposed brick and genuine warmth from the kind energetic owner.

Yelp
Great lunch! Chicken salad was fresh mixed greens and great strawberries, apple, and blueberries! With a delicious strawberry honey vinagrette

Yelp
Eileen is a new business owner. She's very friendly and excited to make things her customers will enjoy. She made us egg sandwiches on carmelized onion naan. It's ''twas yummy. She also made me a fresh chai latte. Very pleased overall and will be back to support her growing business. What a cute little spot!

Yelp
Luckily stumbled across this little gem in Baker. Grabbed a delicious iced chai latte. Very cool little store with lots of essentials and non-essentials. Definitely going to be back to try their breakfast and lunch offerings.

Yelp
I have been here twice today. Was impressed with the fresh homemade food and the friendly helpful staff. Loved the very berry chicken salad and the mango smoothie.

Alison D.

Yelp
We always enjoy our visits to your market and are SO excited for the new addition out back. Our son had such a blast playing "house" and going down the slide! It's so wonderful to have a fun, clean space for my son to play while I get to enjoy some coffee and delicious food. Thank you so much for bringing this much needed market to our neighborhood!
google avatar

Olivia C.

Yelp
Perfect location. This is just what baker needed. The burritos are super good and convenient. My friend got the Italian roast beef sandwich and it was delicious and great price! The ice cream selection is awesome-- Sweet Action (if you know that local brand). The owner is very sweet, so if you get the chance to talk to her, do!
google avatar

Yelp
The best meal replacement shake ever! We had the Banana Carmel Cheesecake shake. The customer service is spectacular. Feels like being at home.

Camille G.

Yelp
Baker Neighborhood Market is a one-of-a-kind neighborhood gem! Their freshly made sandwiches, burritos, home made salsa, and smoothies are absolutely delicious. I love this place because of their variety of vegetarian options, but the market's best feature is their welcoming staff. I especially enjoy talking to Eileen every time I visit. She always makes her customers feel appreciated.

John D.

Yelp
I'm so thankful to have this cute little store in the neighborhood! They are so convenient, clean, and friendly that I always look forward to the welcoming atmosphere when I pop in for a snack or a coffee. It's the perfect place to run over to when you're missing something from the kitchen.

Matthew L.

Yelp
Great local spot for coffee, breakfast, lunch, and a peanut butter chocolate milkshake. Friendly neighborhood owner and staff.
