Perhaps this place is good if you're looking to grab a beer at a traditional Irish Pub. I can't attest to that either way.
We landed here because they close at 2am and nothing else in the area was still open after seeing the show.
I ordered a Tito's Blueberry Lemonade & "Potachos" (which are basically potato chips, topped with beer cheese, black beans, cilantro, and jalapenos. Despite the fact that I forwent any of the meat options (beef, chicken, or BBQ
pulled pork,) I was still charged full-price. And they weren't very good.
For the Blueberry Lemonade, I watched the bartender squeeze "SimplySqueeze Reàl Cocktail Ingredients Blueberry Purée Infused Syrup" into my cocktail. (If you don't know what that is, I encourage you to look it up.) It was awful. In fact, the entire experience was awful.
But it all started with the way that we were greeted. When I approached the bar, I said: "Hi. How are you?" The response was: "Pretty bad. It's been a day." Well, okay. But you're at work so perhaps you could put on a happy face for the customers. It turns out that he wasn't the only grumpy employee. After attempting to avoid this particular bartender, I discovered that the other guy on duty was even more pissed off than the first guy.
I won't go into too many additional details. All you need to know is that we were chased out of the place by cockroaches. I'm not even exaggerating. We overlooked the first three sightings of cockroaches but when we saw two literally crawling up some guy's leg at the table across from us ... well, that was our cue to leave (and never return.)
