Beautiful bakery with ample sitting space. There was a member who seemed more interested in organizing their pastry display than taking orders😅 Kale cheese roll: dryer and saltier than expected, maybe I got one from an older batch $6 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Raspberry pistachio muffin: the moist muffin and crunchy pistachio pieces offered some interesting contrasts in textures. Glad it was small so the sweetness didn’t become too much before I finished $5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ Chocolate tahini cookie: dense, soft cookie that balanced the bitter-sweetness of chocolate and the savory/nutty notes of sesame. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great for a sunny brunch or cozy morning! You are greeted with the smell of fresh bread and pastries along with an extensive menu of seasonal ingredients and filling portions. The scrambled egg and cheddar biscuit were homely and comforting. The cardamom cookie was satisfactory. The staff is super kind and attentive. The ambiance is relaxed and you can easily enjoy a conversation. Will be back!

Absolutely charming breakfast cafe spot. Located in a small nook of greenpoint’s residential area. This is a cozy, and warm spot for a coffee paired with a pastry. The music is subtle, the ambiance is pleasing and the staff are nice. We came in at 10 am on a weekday, and it was relatively full. There is not much private table options, being that there is one big table and bar, with very few 2-3 seat tables in the limited amount of space. However, Bakeri is a very intimate spot that most can enjoy. Cappuccino was rich and creamy. Macchiato was small, but had notes of chocolate and was delightful. They ran out of Croissants at 10 am, however we still got the kale roll as well as the ham roll. Both were buttery, delicious and big in size. Whether you want to relax by yourself, or enjoy company with others, there is space for you here and that is beautiful ❤️

Bakeri is a must-visit for coffee and pastry lovers! The cafe was packed when I visited on a Sunday afternoon, but it was well worth the wait. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the smell of coffee and bread was intoxicating. I enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee and a tasty pastry while soaking up the lively ambiance. I highly recommend this place!

Nestled at 105 Freeman Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, Bakeri is a charming, women-owned bakery that offers a delightful array of baked goods. With its whimsical floral wallpaper and handwritten menus, the ambiance is as inviting as the treats themselves . German Chocolate Cake Bakeri's German Chocolate Cake is a standout. This decadent dessert features two layers of rich chocolate cake filled with almond-coconut caramel and finished with a cocoa cream cheese frosting. It's a perfect balance of sweetness and texture, making it a must-try for chocolate enthusiasts . Carrot Cake Equally impressive is their Carrot Cake. Made with fresh carrots and a blend of aromatic spices, it's topped with a luscious cream cheese frosting. The cake is moist and flavorful, offering a delightful treat for those who appreciate classic desserts with a twist . 2 Final Thoughts Bakeri's commitment to quality and ambiance makes it a standout in Greenpoint's bakery scene. Whether you're in the mood for a rich chocolate indulgence or a spiced carrot delight, Bakeri delivers with finesse. Their cakes are available for pre-order, ensuring you can enjoy these treats for any occasion.

Another Instagram trap 🫠 This is the hot chocolate, tastes like only milk, I mean you can see the color!! Workers are not friendly at the cashier, look at the broken plate they gave (plates that are broken need to be thrown). Oh and the pastry is so soft its not even crispy 🤦‍♀️😭 I’m not someone who leaves bad reviews because I know it hurts the businesses but how else would they improve if people dont share their honest opinion

Google
While very cute, albeit a bit too dark inside, this place fell short two fold: one of the worst iced lattes I’ve had. It resembled more of water than of coffee. And second, both the pan suisse and the Mexican hot chocolate buns were too dry, flavourless and all-round a flop. I barely finished my portion of the desserts. Service was poor - unenthusiastic, removed, confusing (eg unclear where to line up). Loved the look of/ atmosphere, but that’s about all

Google
Such a charming spot with beautifully made pastries — I tried a few cookies and baked goods, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. However, the overall experience could’ve been a bit warmer. My latte was served in a paper cup and was unfortunately too cold, even though I was hoping for a porcelain cup like the ones shown in photos on Google Maps. Not a big deal, but it did take away from the cozy vibe I expected. Also, the staff didn’t feel very welcoming — a smile or some kindness would’ve made the visit feel more special. Still, the baked goods were lovely!

Yelp
Great bakery in Williamsburg run by all women. Very cozy spot, which feels homely. Come for a bakery and a bakery item. Wonderful friendly fast service. Go to items here are the berry scones. Buttery with huge berries. Great with my coffee. Crunchy outside and a buttery inside. Any of the focaccia breads. My favorite is the breakfast focaccia with egg, fennel, onion. Hot fresh and soft. Love their house made granola as well. Full of flavor and a wonderful aroma . Will be back for sure.

Yelp
Cute spot in greenpoint. I came solo on a sunday morning and they seated me right away. This spot does get very busy so arrive early if you want table service, but they also offer takeaway. Everything on the menu looks so good, I got a pastry and a biscuit sandwich and they were both great! The chai is good too-- on the spicier side which I love.

Yelp
I was instantly in love with this space once I stepped in. The staff was friendly, the bread and pastry selection was impressive. It was very busy in the morning. I prefer sitting outside for more sunlight as the interior was a bit dark and cramped. *Savory Quiche The quiche was lukewarm, so I brought it home and reheated -- chef's kiss. I had an entirely different thought on the quiche when it was served warm. The pastry crust was sooo flaky and buttery. The pie was loaded with so many toppings like potatoes, tomatoes and eggplant. *Hot Cross Bun I ranked Bakeri's hot cross bun as my top 1 in 2024. It costed only $2.5 with excellent texture and flavor. It was soft, warm and citrusy with a kick of spice. The bun had the perfect glossy surface and clear cross icing on top. *Latte Their coffee was great in a bakery's standard!! So smooth and nutty I gulped down the whole cup!

Yelp
For $10 you can get a huge bowl of amazing soup and the best bread. The service was exceptional. Ambiance is so cozy--especially on a rainy day.

Yelp
RATING: 8.5/10 In a place with lots of great bakeries, Bakeri continues to hold its own with its amazingly fresh baked goods and a rotating menu. Came over St Patrick's weekend and got a few things for my first visit here. Arrived around 1pm and everything was super fresh. KALE AND CHEESE WHEEL - this was the savory pick and it was actually really delicious. Tender, chewy dough with a gently crisp exterior and fragrant kale with a smooth cheese mellowing it out with some nice savoriness and giving it some density. Really good. ICED LEMON SODA BREAD In honor of St Patrick's had to get the soda bread. That beautifully not too sweet lemon icing with an intense brightness was just absolutely beautiful. It was so soft and warm inside as well, and really quite fluffy. Surprised. PLAIN CROISSANT I expected this croissant to be flaky and it was, but the inside is really doughy and stretchy, and quite hard to pull apart! I tried splitting it in half and it took more strength than I thought it would - maybe a testament to how many layers are in this thing binding it together? Either way, if you like a chewy, more stretchy croissant, this is one of those. CAPPUCCINO I've def had much better coffee/espresso drinks elsewhere but it it still solid here and worth pairing your baked goods with. FINAL CATEGORY: EXCELLENT

Yelp
High quality and generous breads, pastries and breakfast / lunch items. Great combination of flavors. Very charming, rustic open kitchen with European influence. Consistently lively throughout the week and absolutely packed on the weekends. Some seating inside with a long communal table. Plenty of outdoor seating. Decently priced. I would come again.

Yelp
Awesome bakery in Greenpoint. They have everything from croissants to hot breakfast. Sit at the bar and have a cappuccino while you watch the bakers turn out fresh loaves of bread, foccacia, and other treats!
google avatar

Yelp
A charming bakery with a variety of seating and amazing service! Employees are super friendly and helpful. So many amazing pastries. 1st time here I got a Banana Date Bread and Cinnamon Roll. The Cinnamon Roll was decadent. Second time trying - I got the Egg Biscuit. It was good, a little salty for me, but good nonetheless. Will definitely be back to try all the other pastries!
google avatar

Yelp
The dining space at the Greenpoint location is super cute! Seating indoors is quite limited but food arrives fast, staff are friendly, and the portions are quite sizable. I got the iced matcha with almond milk, kale salad, and banana bread- I would definitely get all three again, especially the banana bread, which was spongey and not too sweet. Overall I highly recommend Bakeri!

Yelp
If I can recommend anything at all here , definitely get the focaccia! I haven't had a bad one yet... occasionally they will do a breakfast focaccia which is DELICIOUS. If you time it right and arrive around 10/10:30am the focaccia is fresh out of the oven. A nice go to place for coffee, pastries, bread and sandwiches. The workers are super friendly too. The other must have here is the cinnamon roll! If you can score one of these, you won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Sheena T.

Yelp
I absolutely love Bakeri. It's a true hidden gem in the Greenpoint neighborhood. They have fresh baked baguettes that rival that of Tin Building's in the Financial District, as well as freshly baked croissants (pain au chocolats, ham and cheese croissants) and delightful sweets such as cinnamon rolls and lemon bars. A dangerous but loving favorite of mine whenever I want a freshly baked goodie around the corner from my apartment. Radio Bakery definitely has some competition. Highly, highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Not only a super cute space, but the pastries and other dishes here are amazing! Love the different toasts they have and the arugula salad. Bread is on point here as well. A must visit if you are nearby!

Yelp
I have come here occasionally since moving to NYC in 2015. Yes, I was drawn by the cute facade and the painted interior, but at least that was before it was on a million lists entitled "prettiest cafes in NYC". On the weekend it can be a bit chaotic and the line to order will loop awkwardly around the large table in the middle of the place. Overall the pastries and coffee are hit or miss. Some pastries have been great and they chose flavors that you don't normally see at your standard bakeri (:)). But sometimes they are dry and crumbling. The coffee is often great but we have tossed ours a few times when either the coffee or the milk was burnt. We still come back though, so it must be something good.

Yelp
I love coming to Bakeri, the inside is so quaint and cozy and its a great place to meet your neighbors! I live down the street so I even appreciate the energy it brings to the block, and loving walking by on Sunday mornings seeing all the families and friends sitting and chatting. Their outdoor seating is also great on a sunny day! Their baked goods change often, so you get to try new things all the time. There are some that hit more than others, but the novelty is wonderful. I enjoy their chocolate croissants (when they have enough chocolate) and also their orange olive oil cake. They also have great coffee.

Yelp
Such a great spot for tea, coffee, and amazing pastries! Went this afternoon and the baristas were super nice.
google avatar

Yelp
I used to think that my favorite breakfast themed pastry in North Brooklyn was the vegetarian breakfast empanada from Butler. But no longer, now that I've tried the breakfast focaccia at Bakeri. A perfect hard boiled egg seamlessly embedded in the chewy, tangy dough was exactly the afternoon pick-me up I needed, even if it was intended for consumption earlier in the day.
google avatar

Rachael M.

Yelp
Delicious whole wheat sourdough from here! Lots of pastries, coffee, and outdoor seating. You can see the staff baking inside.
google avatar

Linda N.

Yelp
A very friendly neighborhood bakery/cafe for some breakfast and light brunch fare. Pastries are delicious and foods are light and fresh.
google avatar

Sabrina H.

Yelp
Very cute and quaint spot. Can grab a quick coffee and pastry or sit down and order breakfast. Staff is friendly and food is amazing. Ordered a cappuccino, egg biscuit, ham and cheese croissant and the mixed berry pie. Every single item was delicious. The biscuit was fresh and buttery, the eggs were perfectly scrambled and it came with a side salad. The croissant was flaky and savory. The mini pie was full of berries and topped with oat crumble. Might become a regular spot. Seating is limited on weekends so get there early.
google avatar

Carlos R.

Yelp
Very good pastries, friendly staff, and a great environment to enjoy it in. Will be back for sure.

Laure M.

Yelp
Food and viennoiserie are good, but don't expect a hello, a smile a thank you from the ladies behind the counter, but I still go for my coffee every weekend : ) go figure
google avatar

Shivon R.

Yelp
Super cute bakery. Felt very European. I loved the communal table in the middle of the floor. Next time I'll sit at the counter. The food was good, not anything to talk about. I was consistently checked up on by the server. I got the 2 eggs scrambled with biscuit. The eggs were a bit too salty for my liking. It's a great place to visit when meeting up with friends for a weekend breakfast or a solo breakfast. The ambiance is definitely the reason to come.
google avatar

Missy J.

Yelp
Hit or miss. Sometimes I've gone and the pastries are fresh, other times they can be dry and awful (though the staff has always been quick to replace). The staff can be friendly, depends on the day/mood. I think the location in Williamsburg has better quality treats. Every time I've ordered a drink at either location, it's been terrible - from the coffee, to the chai, to the tea -- so I pick up a drink elsewhere if I'm stopping here for a croissant. Bakeri has a lot of potential; sadly, it doesn't seem to care to live up to it.

Yelp
The decor of Bakeri is in vintage style and elegant. We visited Sweetleaf last weekend and here this week since we love the vibes in the neighborhood so much. We had one Latte and one Mocha both in small size today and it was so delicious & refreshing. Their pastries look so appetizing and delicate but we didn't have a chance to try them this time. The only complaint was they asked us for tips in person instead of letting us input by ourselves. We understood it's for safety purpose but it's kind of awkward and we only ordered take-out.
google avatar

Cheryl L.

Yelp
Cute little shop! Got the strawberry peach muffin (5/5), the savory tart (4/5), the lavender shortbread (4/) 5) and the blueberry walnut crumble (5/5). Overall a great place to stop and chat - they have seating where they'll wait/ serve you; or you can order at the counter. Overall thought their pastries were good, but nothing too unique. I also got a coffee which was excellent My friend got the matcha latte and wasn't a fan

Samuel D.

Yelp
The inside is really neat. The food is okay. Coffee is great. Staff aren't very kind. Ordered a prosciutto/ kale sandwich and got a ham and butter sandwich instead. We were kind to them from the start but they sort of have an attitude and it's frustrating given that they can't even give you the right sandwich :/
google avatar

Caitlin D.

Yelp
Such a hidden gem in Brooklyn. Great pastries and coffee and wonderful customer service. Go early for the best selection.
google avatar

Park S.

Yelp
Amazing service. Had a delicious pepper and cheese biscuit. Had a wonderful buttery flavor and not too strong. The americano had good flavor. We also tried this sandwich using focaccia bread and mortadella. It wqs good but the bread was a but too salty. I will be back because im sure theres a lot more to try thats amazing!
google avatar

Jesse K.

Yelp
This place is great! So cute from the outside and then when you walk in you feel like you've been transported to a european cafe. There are baked goods and fresh bread as well as premade sandwiches. There's then a menu of things made to order as well as many different coffees and drinks. The workers were friendly answering any questions I had. The Skolebrod was sooo good. Place was really busy too which I always take as a good sign
google avatar

Claire D.

Yelp
Love the whitefish toast. I also had a sesame seed chocolate cookie that was unique and delicious. The space is very cute and the staff are kind. A favorite spot
google avatar

Yelp
Coffee delish, baked goods fresh 10/10. Choco croissant 9/10. Eggs 6/10. One of my weekend Mrng go to spots.
google avatar

Kolby G.

Yelp
Savory Breakfast Tart - 5/5 Apple Cider Flower - 5/5 Raspberry Pistachio Muffin - 4/5 Sooo fresh and sooo delicious!

Yelp
Coffee shop in Greenpoin Brooklyn. Pastries, bread and sandwiches everything is so fresh and delicious. They open for breakfast and lunch. You can get soup, sandwiches and great choice of salads.

A G.

Yelp
food is super yummy but strawberry blond girl is always so nasty :( have come in several times and have never had a great customer experience
google avatar

Carly C.

Yelp
Bakeri's drip coffee is strongggg. A small is 8oz and only $2! Highlight: Their financiers ($3 each) are the best tasting gluten free pastries I've found in Greenpoint, second to Cafe Grumpy's lemon pound cake. The blueberry financier has some lemon poppy flavor. My cranberry one only had one berry in it :( lol The Kasha Buckwheat Breakfast is a let down for $8. I got it to go, and the milk doesn't sog up the buckwheat fast enough, and it's overall too bland and filling. It probably needs honey or raisins or brown sugar. Overall good food, good hours, and a bathroom for customers. 4 stars.

Min Kyeong J.

Yelp
Such a cute bakery in Greenpoint! I had their Lemon cake and apricot pastries and they were both so delicious, moist and not too sweet
google avatar

Marissa P.

Yelp
Delicious pastries & bread. Local. Friendly, prompt service. Always busy because it's good! I come here for pastries, brioche, French bread, etc and nothing disappoints. It's also super cute inside!
google avatar

Ang M.

Yelp
The set up inside seems weird to me but it was bustling on a late Sunday morning. I got the ham and cheese croissant which was delicious. Croissant was flaky and light. Would definitely get again.
google avatar

Steven K.

Yelp
The ham and cheese croissants were melt in your mouth flaky and buttery. The cinnamon roll, maybe one of the best I've ever had. Biscuits and eggs was rich and savory. The atmosphere was a classic NYC bakery feel. Service was a bit scattered, but they were very busy, so that's understandable.

Vasundhra P.

Yelp
Ah! Their baked goods were so fresh. I got the biscuit of the day and it was probably one of the best ones I've had. Their coffee is so good too! I ended up getting two just bec the taste and quality was so great. The service was great as well. We sat outside and they were super good about checking on us with food and water! The servers are super nice too! :) would highly recommend. It's also a woman owned business! They have a very rustic and old school vibe/ ambiance which I loved as well. Very photogenic
google avatar

Elena V.

Yelp
The most horrible customer service I have ever experienced. The staff is NOT friendly and very nasty. I loved coming to BAKERI and been coming for years and supporting the shall business but honestly they have a very negative unpleasant staff working there. I will not be back due to their staff and their unethical customer service. And it's not the first time. I just gave it a benefit of a doubt before. You spend money on the food so you want to enjoy the experience not receive a negative vibes. Very disappointing.

Aldo M.

Yelp
Probably the best drip coffee I've ever had. I mostly drink espresso, and often find drip too watery or acidic, with just a little coffee flavor on the tail end. But my wife stopped in here and grabbed a small drip coffee and a peanut butter cookie and I couldn't believe how rich and pleasant the flavor of the coffee was, especially after a bite of their delicious peanut butter cookie. Yum.

Ali B.

Yelp
Food is mediocre and coffee is overpriced. Many better spots in the area with better service and ownership, this is definitely not a spot I would go out of my way for.
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
This is probably the cutest bakery I've ever been to. Open kitchen, very French boho. I wish I could have ordered everything off the breakfast and lunch menu. The egg and biscuit I got where excellent. The salads I saw prepped looked amazing. They also have tons of pastries, cakes, and breads. Definitely stop in if you're nearby.
google avatar

Bea C.

Yelp
If you want well made bread, this is the place. Other than that, they miss the mark. Baked desserts are all overpriced & average in taste. Sit down service is typically slow, & the menu is a hit or miss. The scrambled eggs with trout should be removed from the menu.
google avatar

Vivian L.

Yelp
Bread is delicious! Can't go wrong with any of the items. The place has limited seating and can be tight.

James P.

Yelp
If you want a rude judgmental barista this is your place to go. Coffee is whatever, lack of milk selection, zero creative coffee. Bakery items were DRY AS THE DESERT I'd rather go to Starbucks and that's sad
google avatar

Christine Q.

Yelp
Little hidden gem in Brooklyn. We wanted something cute with some outdoor seating so we picked Bakeri! I ordered a almond milk latte and it was amazing. The almond milk was frothy and delicious. We also ordered the carrot cake and the chocolate cake both were light, fresh and oh so good. Great afternoon treat!! The group next to us ordered lunch which looked so good so we definitely need to go back and do lunch or brunch!!
google avatar

Jen L.

Yelp
Loved the egg and cheddar biscuit sandwich here. The biscuit was exquisite: full of chives, garlic, and gruyere; super flaky. Made me curious about all their other baked goods, especially their breads. Service is quick, and they bus the table for you. Plenty of seating on weekday mornings. Adorable ambience and colorful wallpaper, even in the bathroom. Sweeping, sloped wooden ceilings. I felt like such a country mouse gawking at how cute the interior was. The servers intimidated me with their coolness.
