Baker's Drive-Thru

I love bakers it’s been my favorite fast food restaurant since I was a kid I’ve always got the papa meal but maybe 7 years ago I started getting the crunchy tacos 🌮 🌮 and now I’m starting to like there chili cheese fries ( today was my third time trying them ) anyways got the twin kitchen meal with chili cheese fries My burger ( double baker ) was good and really saucy tacos were ( bomb ) and chili cheese fries were just ok ( not as good as the last time ) I would say this is a good bakers.

Came here for an early lunch we ordered a combination burrito that look like a quesadilla no joke. Got French fries that were old and stale I understand shrinkflation but for it to be that thin and not taste good I will never be returning to this bakers I've come here constantly and the orders are always messed up the food is always horrible I recommend everybody to try a different bakers. It's kind of sad cuz I've been coming here since I was nine years old and just see the decline of the quality of food and service over time to the point where it's not even worth going anymore.

Waited in the drive-through for over 30 minutes and when I got my food, the fries were extremely salty. Couldn’t even eat and the cheeseburger was raw meat. Disgusting.

Me and my husband went through the drive thru and ordered two chili cheese fries and a large coke, Floriceli the server said they didn’t have large and offered a medium which we agreed to. Only to find out that they only gave us one chili cheese fry. Called ahead to see if we could be given the second order and they said yes. Once there they told us that we’d have to pay again. Floriceli had a bad attitude while we paid despite us being completely okay with paying. Anthony needs a raise, was the only employee who had a good attitude and made the experience somewhat better do better 😔😔😔

I was disappointed today when I ordered the family meal. The tacos were stale and dry. I know they are hard shells, but they just tasted old. When I went to distribute the fries I had seen the bag and box were half empty. Typically they fill the bag to the top but I'm guessing that has changed. I added a photo to show how it was only half full. In the future, I'll be sure to check the bag before driving home and seeing this.

Wish I could give zero stars. This baker’s customer service is absolutely terrible. They failed to pack my entire order, forcing me to waste my time going back to retrieve what they forgot. Instead of apologizing, they had the audacity to get upset when I called to address their mistake. To make matters worse, they tried to claim I never ordered an additional baker—despite it being clearly listed on my receipt. Yet somehow, I didn’t order it? When I pointed this out, the employee gave me attitude instead of taking responsibility. Bakers, train your staff properly. This level of incompetence is unacceptable. This post is really a sad reality to what happens when a Mom & Pop old school business is inherited by the grandkids and they sell it off to a big corporation the quality goes. The love and caring for putting out a great product, and good service unfortunately is not passed on. Man I really miss the way Mr.& Mrs. BAKER used to pour there heart and soul into the business. I know the employees miss them as well. Looking at this greasy mess.

Ordered a meal that taste just like del Taco or Taco bell. It's frustrating to taste the same or similar taste from another biz. but the fries was the enjoyable part only. For something last minute sure but it's not one of my options I'd choose often

I had the classic chicken burrito combo. The service was excellent! Professional, courteous, and cordial. Chicken was warm until the last bite. Fries were delicious, not too salty. Good meal! Next time I plan on having a shake to top off a meal.

My food was moldy so I had to go to the hospital and I was on medication for 1 week and now I have to go every week for a checkup and they said I have a chance of death I don't recommend it at all

For a drive thru right off the 10 freeway near Citrus this is a really good alternative to the other places. The customer service was very professional, friendly and helpful. The sides are a 5 star- Kens Ranch and Spicy Ketchup mixed together to dip your fries The Monetary chic sandwich has a green chili inside which makes this wheat wrapped sandwich delicious. The seasonal pumpkin pie shake is thick and flavorful- gotta try it

The service is not the same. No one welcomed me or asked if they could help me or take my order... I'm not a employee of baker's to put in my own order.... the food didn't have taste as before. I stated dine in.. received food in bag to go..tables where dirty no one inside to eat but myself. Baker's is not the baker's from back some years...

Came in after work for a nice burger and got the exact opposite no cheese on my triple baker even though I was charged for it, fries were cold and hard, the burger barley had any sauce or lettuce. This isn't a bakers burger.

The food hamburger are horrible the tomatoes and lettuce they put on my burger was dry and the patties the use are so tiny they don't even fi on the buns the service was very poor. Ambiance was thumbs down.

Service from employees was great , food was pretty mediocre tho , I love bakers , but this branch's needs some love or revamping , im usually good with a single baker , I opted for the bacon double cheeseburger, it was very basic and not filling and felt smooshy, the fries two days in a row seemed a bit burnt in color or overcooked from all the other bakers . The day before I had the bean and cheese burrito and that was good and usually is , so I guess it's hit and miss here .

Walked in got ignored. Guy seems to be upset. Asked him a simple question and bro got upset like I was interrupting him. Get him checked out he got problems.

Wow looking at all the bad reviews, I almost didn't stop at this location. But I'm glad I did. I had a decent experience. The Drive-Thru wasn't very busy. No line. (Probably because of all the bad reviews on Yelp lol) I pulled up and ordered. Then continued to the window. My food was already done. That was super duper fast! Wow. I ordered a boca burger and French fries. I also got a cheese burrito. My boca burger was a little dry but I gobbled that thing so fast! French fries were salty and yummy. Now to my cheese burrito... It was not cooked. The cheese wasn't warm or melted. I was definitely bummed about that. I still ate it lol But it tasted like eating grated cheese straight out of the bag lol So next time I probably wouldn't order the burrito. But the boca burger and French fries I would! :)

I found this Bakers located on Valley blvd in Fontana. It wasn't busy, and the drive-thru person took my order right away. I used the App to buy Chili cheese fry for $2.99 and a double cheeseburger. The service from the young lady was good. This will be my first time trying the chili cheese fry. My opinion is that chili cheese fries were just okay. The chili is bland and needs seasoning. The cheddar cheese had no flavor. I like weinersnitzel chili cheese fries compared to these. The double cheeseburger has 2 very thin patties and is very small. The sauce gives it flavor like the Big Mac sauce. I would have liked a Big Mac instead.

Food is not good and price is too high almost 2$ for freaking ranch dressing on top of everything else

I went to order a single burger with just meat, cheese, tomato and catsup and wanted to try their new. Cinnamon bites. They left off the tomato, even though I had told them I wanted it at least twice, and the cinnamon bites, well, if you are thinking there is anything in them because of their puffy pillow shape, you'd be wrong like me. So really wasn't happy with those two things. And the meat was almost as flat and thin as a McDonald's burger. I hadn't tried their burgers before. Oh well, they do have good floats and shakes. ​AND THEN THEIR REPLY WAS ABOUT SUNGLE USE UTENSILS! OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T READ MY COMMENT AT ALL AND YELP WOULDN'T LET ME PUT AN OH NO!

I'm never disappointed with the quality of food and service here. The staff at night are very friendly please be kind and patient due to area and popularity from the food being good it does get busy so relax, kick back while you wait for the food. Ps give the guy at the window a raise helped me out and appreciate that so much

The fries are good...burgers are ok. There were ants on the counter by the soda machine. When someone told an employee they said they know.

I emailed corporate as directed from this review. Never got a response. Bakers is a joke now.

i had a very good experience here! Staff was polite and friendly- the food portion was filling. Though the fries were slightly salty I'll let that pass cause they were still good my favorite cut size for fries. A bit messy on the inside but that's ok cause the team members looked a bit understaffed so it's all good. Very recommendable for friends and family to come eat some delicious burgers

Gave this bakers 2 stars because our fries were hot. We had to warm our burritos up by alternating fries in between bites... the burrito was cold from the tortilla to the meat. I guess my husbands idea of a quick dinner was a bust. We are so disappointed in bakers.

I just want to point out how exceptional the service was at this location I came in had some reasonable requests to fit my diet and had a wonderful experience....thanks guys your customer service and overall friendliness is appreciated.... Will return again...

The cashier was so sweet, I hope they pay her well!! The fries were hot and yummy too!! Happy Thanksgiving

I remember coming here when I was in high school but since I no longer live in the IE, I had to make a stop. I ordered the Mama meal and remembered everything all over again. These burgers are the go to for everyone in the IE. great taste and great quality! I'm sad I didn't order the tacos because those are the favorite but next time. The dining area was really clean and the staff was great too. Wish there were Bakers in LA or In the OC!

They won't give refund for order they didn't give me. And it's funny they respond on yelp but not on customer service line

Ordered 2 original tacos & received the most dry, microwave- bottom of the pan meat in my tacos I've ever received... smh and the manager knew what he was serving me! He had that look of guilt when he took my order & handed it to me. He knew this ish was old! Fail.

Stopped by Baker on the way to my doctor's appointment. Cow munchie in me. The taco burger hardly had taco meat and was dry. It was wrapped in odd paper. Fries were okay. I had a better experience with this visit.

Sitting here in the drive thru as I type the review. Person taking the order said "one moment please" and never came back. I waited here for over 5 minutes before I said "hello?". No response. Waited 3 more minutes to say "hello?" Again. No response. Now I'm just waiting for fun to see how long he takes to acknowledge me....It took 10 minutes but only after I went in reverse and forward to reset his beeper. He just said "sorry bout that" and I left. There was only 1 car in line in front of us by the way.

The speaker's took 20 minutes to get me my order at 730 am I understand that with covid there are issues getting personnel but getting checked in on and having the delay explained would have been preferable I was getting the food for my family who was leaving on a trip and I was not able to say goodbye to them because I was stuck in the Drive-Thru. Mind you I was the first customer there there were no other customers in front of me.

What the.... First of all the grilled chicken isn't even real chicken and it looks like rubber 6$ for a nasty fake chicken burger and 55 cents for a nasty ranch not even homemade .... McDonald's has better food this is disgusting

Horrible service!!!! Please be advised. Wish I could give them a no stars rating. I'm from Dallas Texas and my wife is originally from Fontana.She has always raved about Bakers anytime I brag about a true burger which they serve in Texas and have the decency to provide a hospitable service along with it. The food here was below mediocre. Burnt buns is not the way I prefer my burgers. Went in at 8:50pm, after waiting for 20 minutes to receive my food i took two bites from my burger and was approached by staff saying i would have to leave because they close the inside at 9 pm. Right in the middle of eating my food they did this. RUDE asses!!!! F@#$ Bakers forever! I will tell everyone I meet that this is NOT the place to dine because they are NOT HOSPITABLE and their food is barely average.

The drive thru is very fast and efficient . Ordered two single bakers con queso ! Fries were hot and fresh. The burgers tasted like a dream, this dream in particular as if I was back in 1990's back yard at a pool party. Someone is grilling burgers and the special sauce is made fresh. Burger and fries is iconic and bakers does a amazing job. Reminiscing while I ate this burger brought me back to when I was kid. Bakers is my go to when I'm in the San Bernardino county . Always looking forward to doing work out here because my reward is a mama 1

You get ZERO Or ONE because of your incredible ineptitude and terrible customer service. Luckily for you, bakers has good food and theater why you get a damned one! 45 minutes in line for 6 cars. We could've went to El Torino and have excellent service!

Excellent staff, excellent service. I have eaten here a few times and every time I enter the drive thru in the evening, the staff is super! As a healthcare professional my days are long and my evenings are brutal, so to stop at a fast-food place that takes care of you like this crew does makes a huge difference. This Baker's is smooth and professional and gets you in and out quick. I highly recommend this spot! Whoever is running the show here is doing a fine job!!!

Absolutely terrible service! Complete lack of training with the manager on duty. My "coupon" for the 2.69 combo wouldn't allow me to use the $11 dollars I have in rewards. The incompetence to be able to correct the issue and remove the petty coupon to allow the use of taking off $11 is just basic customer service! Shit show!

I'm very upset with bakers right now. I love them but right now waiting in the drive thru for more than 25mins and I said light lettuce even have it on my receipt burger still had the same amount they normally do. Very upset with them. I may never even return to them at all

This review is for Bakers on Foothill and Citrus in Fontana. First you place your order and it takes at least 15 to 20 minutes to get your order. When you get your order it's cold bye the time you get home. Changed there menu. Paid over six dollars for a shake when you can go to Jack in the Box for a large shake under six dollars. The bean and cheese burritos are horrible. The fries taste like they were cooked in dirty grease. What happened to the old Baker with reasonable prices and better menus. The atmosphere in the business some of the cashier's are rude. I will not be going back to Bakers anymore and wasting my money. There are a lot of Drive thru in Fontana that has better tasting and prices.

Stopped in a few weeks ago and seen the male cook slapping the hamburger cheese on his butt. He did throw it away. It was late in the evening after 8pm. I excused his actions because he was young and immature. Today's order was a disappointment. The tortillas are different. They don't taste as good as the other tortillas. The ice coffee tasted odd as if they didn't blend it well. My burrito had onions. Very similar to Taco Bell. I am not sure if they are changing quality or cooks making errors. Experiences at this location have not been the best.

Waited 20+ mins for 2 hot chocolate and that was the wait time at the window not the line smh

Went to this bakers on valley and cedar atabout 2:30 on Saturday from the driveway on the west side of the building I was car#5 it took 35 minutes to get to the window an when I said something to the young man he told me"lookman were busy" I'm 61 years old no damn respect.i left passed 1 carnitas cuesadilla and an ice rea$9.03 and the damn thing didn't have a whole reason of meat. Total rip off never going there agian..and the youn man at the windows attitude caused most of the problem

I come here pretty often during my lunch break. Only in the drive thru during lunch hour. And I just want to say that the staff there are great at multitasking and work efficiently. Cars are always moving and I hardly have to wait to get my food or have to ask for hot sauce or ketchup! My food is always warm and delicious. I'm a huge fan of their Monterey chicken sandwich and pollo asado burrito. Yum. And they just never disappoint. I was actually a bit shocked to read the reviews, perhaps ordering inside is a different story? But let me tell you, I've been to many food establishments on valley, especially drive thru's and they are by far the quickest, especially during lunch hour.

Seems like the quality of this place has gone downhill...not sure why but I believe they have new ownership or something but the food is not the same. You receive super small burger patties, and more bread than anything else..the fries are stale and most burritos seem like they are warmed up...honestly sad to see this place go down hill

I ordered from door dash everything was correct but my burger was not the one I ordered. I ordered a double baker instead when I checked it was just a regular cheeseburger. I paying money for the food that I want instead I'm not getting my correct order.

Every time I come to the inland empire I have to stop at this specific Bakers. Yes, this place is a chain, but I definitely have had a different experience at different locations. Some not so pleasant, but not at this location. Employees are friendly and even with the order changes I've done in the past, they have always managed to get my order right. Keep it up!

Whenever I take trip I enjoy stopping at Baker's. They have incredible milkshakes and they're pricing is impeccable. I would recommend anybody who takes a road trip to stop at Baker's for their signature shakes.

Two words: Taco. Tuesday. All inclusive, you get their tacos for roughly $.96 per. I'd say that they are slightly better than Del Taco's Classic Taco. What really sets Baker's over the top, however, is their selection of hot sauce packets. I really like their jalapeno flavored hot sauce - it goes PERFECTLY with their tacos. One tacos is not enough. You have to get at least two. And then a half pound order of fries and large drink to make it a combo? And not just on Tuesdays? I'm in fat kid heaven...

Bakers is Bakers. If you have never been you are missing out. They call themselves a twin kitchen which basically means they serve two types of food. "Mexican/American" They have burritos, tacos, burgers, fries and much more. My favorites are the hard shell ground beef tacos and the combination burrito - ground beef, beans and cheese. The burgers are very good too, but if you like well done burgers you need to ask for well done otherwise the patties come out a medium. I went through the drive thru so I have no comment on cleanliness.

They did it again. Advertise $3.49 and charge $3.69. I guess they rely on people not paying attention to their charges. This has happened on 2 DOD's in a row and frequently in the past. This time they got to keep their food. This isn't rocket science folks. It's either ignorance or fraud. I'm done. No more Baker's

I have been going to bakers for 16 years at this same location always served great food and the customer was great always and quick too, but now for the last two years it has become very bad the food is bad the tacos are almost empty and the burger I got was burned and the fries salty and the customer service sucks and the drive thru takes forever .

Seriously took 15 minutes sitting in their drive thru with only one car in front of me. Ridiculously slow service. Not worth the wait. Food is mediocre.

So this place happens to be near my tattoo shop (next door like 10 feet away) I went in to see if I could buy a drink and go sit with my wife while she got her tattoo and then when we come back to BUY FOOD if they would refill my drink. The lady looked me dead in the face and said "no once you leave you can't get a refill." I reiterated that I'm next door and am coming back to BUY food... I was told refills are not allowed the second you walk out the door. Well I did walk out the door. No food, no drink, will not be shopping there ever. What terrible service and what a terrible way of doing business.

This place has really good burgers, chili cheese fries and fries. Those are my go to menu items as well as their classic bean and cheese burrito with a side of fries. I prefer this place over in n out. Their meat tastes better and their fries are much sturdier and delicious when crunchy. I miss Bakers every time I leave the IE.
