The 13 Hottest Restaurants in Orlando Right Now

"The buzzy Mills 50 bakery dazzles with its dizzying array of Chinese-style pastries, breads, buns, cakes, rolls, tarts, cookies, and savory baked goods, but their dumplings (steamed and pan-fried) as well as their dumplings in soup prove just as gratifying. Don’t overlook dim sum items like Taiwanese popcorn chicken and fried tofu tossed in a peppery mix. Milk teas, boba, and fruit teas are some of the best in the city." - Faiyaz Kara

5 Stars for Two Amazing Asian Bakery Treats! The Golden Onion Roll alone is worth the visit—my new favorite! 📍The Bakery: A cozy, charming spot with a modern vibe. You can either grab freshly baked goods from their display (they have a great mix of sweet and savory options) or sit down for a full meal. Seating is indoor-only. 🥐What We Ordered (Takeout): Golden Onion Roll – Incredible! The soft bread, savory sauce, and crispy topping (no idea what it was, but it worked!) created the perfect bite. Unlike anything I’ve tried before. Sliced Sausage Bun – Really tasty! 💁Service: Simple and efficient—just picked our items at the counter and checked out. 🅿️Parking: Convenient lot right outside the entrance. 💭Final Thoughts: This place would be perfect for breakfast or a quick lunch. I’m already planning my next visit to try more pastries—or maybe a full meal!

I loved visiting this Asian bakery/coffee shop! So many different delicious treats to try. I went first thing in the morning and everything was freshly made. The savory chicken onion bun was a perfect breakfast paired with caffeine free rose tea. There are lots of tables for dining in but you can also package your bakery items to go. Can't wait to come back and try more items.

Google
Yes, I want some Dim Sum! A friend told me about this place, cuz if you can't tell from my pictures - I LOVE pastries. So... going in, I immediately went for the choose your own & as many as you want (very dangerous for me) freshly baked & too-beautiful-to-eat pastry cases until... I saw the menu - specifically the words Dim Sum - that popped right off the menu board & into my stomach - yum! I highly recommend any & all of the following: Honey Walnut Chicken, Pork Bun, 1908 Bang Bang Chicken, Shrimp Dumpling, Seafood Dumpling, Pork Siu Mai. I ate so much I HAVE to go back just to try the pastries!

Google
Really cool vibe inside and out. The system with the personal trays and tongs is very different from most bakeries I've seen. The food is always very good, and pretty decently priced. by far, the peach lemon fruit tea is one of the greatest drinks I've ever had.

My daughter brought me hear for mother's day morning coffee and bake goods, she knows how much I love different baked goods and this was just what I like. There was a large variety and the environment was peaceful and the lay out was nice very nice. They have chairs in a area with a table in the middle where you can relax with friends and just enjoy conversation together or they have regular seating. The baked goods the cake is like sponge cake very tasty and light. A large variety of items I will for sure be back. Everything is clean you take your tray and pick out your own items.

This spot is so cute and yummy. How can you not love it here? Besides the cute semi-sweet pastries and savory pastries, they also serve a nice collection of coffees (both hot and cold), cream cheese cakes, fried dumplings, and various tasty hot dumpling soups if you feel like adding something savory to balance out your pallet. If you’re like me and you don’t like your dessert to be diabetic-ly sweetened, this smart establishment is the place for you.

Google
Great bakery with friendly service! Be sure to join their rewards program to earn free buns, and check out the happy hour deals for extra savings. When the kitchen’s open, the wonton soup is a must—fresh, flavorful, and comforting. Favorites include the flaky egg tart and the savory garlic bun. Always a treat! Great parking

We stopped in at Bakery 1908 and I was seriously impressed. My wife had gone here before with one of her besties but I wasn't expecting this. From the moment we walked in, the open layout and warm presentation made the whole space feel welcoming and full of life. We went early and there were a half a dozen staff working to stock the glass cases with fresh, beautiful pastries, it was like watching a well-run show. They had a full stock of everything except the strawberry pastry my wife came for (we made up for it by sampling several other items to find a new favorite). For food, we sampled a little of everything and it did not disappoint. The Shanghai Dumpling was perfectly delicate with a rich, flavorful broth. The Vietnamese Fried Spring Roll was crisp and light without being greasy. The Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken had just the right crunch and seasoning (so good), and the Pork Dumplings were juicy and tasty. But the real stars were the pastries, every one we tried was fresh, not overly sweet, and clearly made with care. This place is the rare balance of being fast-paced without feeling rushed and offering a wide variety without sacrificing quality. If you're in the area, don't skip it. Bakery 1908 is the kind of place you visit once and immediately start planning your next trip back. Get the strawberry pastry if they have it, they go fast!

Yelp
I love a chill and relaxed bakery and this place is no exception. As soon as you walk in you feel like you want to stay and never leave. It was so comforting and inviting. I came around 6pm and most of the goods were gone so I recommend that you come in early . I scoped the sweets but nothing caught my eye. At the counter there were some cheesecakes, tiramisu and other treats and my bf and I opted for a tiramisu and a lemon cheesecake. The cheesecake was so fluffy and melt in your mouth. It was not too sweet which I am glad for. I chose the peach lemon tea and my bf had the brown sugar boba. We both tried each others and agreed that they got the flavors spot on. Sometimes you go to boba places and they either add too much milk or too much sugar but theirs is perfect. The perfect balance of milk to sweetness and so delicious. My tea was amazing and you could see the peach and lemon pieces in it. Great serving as well and the bottle is too cute. I would come back at an early time to try some of their fan favorites .

Yelp
I love a good bakery so I had to try this place! They have so many baked goods here! I loved all the bakery displays and variety. The inside is so cute! I love the seating area, you could definitely work or relax here. The staff here are really nice and helpful describing the different baked goods. We came a little later in the day so they didn't have everything but still had a lot on display. I ended up getting a vanilla chocolate layered cake. Not too sweet and perfectly soft. I would definitely come back here and try some of the other desserts! They also have dim sum! I really recommend this place, you should give it a try.

Yelp
One thing about me is I LOOOOOVEEEE a chill, relaxed bakery. Another thing about me is that I LOOOOOVE takoyaki. When I found out I could have buns, pastries, cake, dumplings, and takoyaki all in one place.. I HAD TO CHECK IT OUT. I came here with a friend for dinner (we consistently meet up to eat various types of dumplings at different places... I'm not sure why it's always dumplings but I am enthralled that this is a standard in our friendship haha). The dumplings and especially the shumai we got were larger when compared to other places that I've gotten dumplings from. They didn't disappoint! Steamed dumplings and shumai are my fav, and they made my heart smile. But the TAKOYAKI MADE MY HEART FLUTTER. I could eat probably 25 of those delicious, heart-warming octopus balls. The desserts and pastries... oh my gosh... there were SOOOO MANY CHOICES and at such a great price also! My friend had a slice of crepe cake that she let me try. I have never had a crepe cake before and thoroughly enjoyed the texture and flavor. I had the mini coffee swiss roll cake, and it was also good! I took home some buns (taro, coconut, and coffee) as well as a golden onion pastry to have for breakfast. I will recommend that if you take anything home for later that is pastry-like to heat it up in the oven/ toaster oven for a few minutes. Love a warm baked good Overall, I will most definitely be coming back here because there is so much that I want to try that I didn't get the opportunity to! The staff was very nice and answered all of my one million questions that I asked about all the options haha.

Yelp
Bakery 1908 is so cute inside with so many sweet treats, tea drinks and food. We visited after eating lunch, so we stopped to grab a few sweet treats and a boba drink. The Thai Milk tea with boba comes in a cute drink cup. You can order off the digital menu when you walk in too before looking at the treats. I remember when this was a Thai restaurant, they did such a great job decorating the inside. It has plenty of cute sitting areas if you want to hang out when enjoying your food or sweets. The other sweets we got was a red bean bun for $3, a coconut tart $3 and a cinnamon berry bun $3.25. We also got some complimentary cookies for Father's Day too! Love this place and I will definitely be back soon to get some savory items next!

Yelp
Super cute café with a ton of baked buns, cookies and fake options. They also make small bites of food and tea/coffee drinks. There's a big seating area and they even sell their own cute merchandise. The selection of savory buns was running low when I got there at 11:40 am on a Sunday morning but there were a few ham and cheese, egg and sausage and some pork floss options left. There were a lot of sweet choices though. From the standard pineapple buns to the cream filled swirl cakes, lots of delicious options. My pork floss ham bun was fluffy and fresh. More bread than topping/filling but flavors were good. The hot dog bun was really good. My husband loved his giant pork floss bun and matcha swirl bun. They also have Mille crepe cake slices. Service was very friendly and sweet.

Yelp
Stopped by for the first time Sunday around 11 am. It was busy, but there were plenty of places to sit in their large dining areas. They have their own parking lot, which is few and far between for this area of Orlando! When you walk inside, there is a cold case for some cakes, and then you proceed to the left, grab a tray, and pick your own pastries and buns. Then you go to line to pay where you can also order hot foods. The buns and pastries were all good! I do wish there had been more filling in the chicken curry bun. There wasn't much on the inside. The strawberry cream pastry was so tasty! All of the pastries were so good, you really can't go wrong when choosing. The drinks come in these cute containers, which make for a cute photo op with their murals. It's definitely a must visit.

Yelp
Orlando is home to so many incredible Asian Bakeries - and 1908 has it all! This wonderful little Asian bakery is serving a range of Asian and European bakery items - with a variety of sweet and savory treats. Not only that, but they also have Dumplings and Dim Sum and Boba milk tea! They offered some really unique bakery items that I personally haven't seen anywhere else in Orlando - so I was excited to try some new things! And of course we couldn't leave without trying their dim sum - so we got the soup dumplings and they were realllly soupy. And the fried chicken were great too! If you're a fan of Asian bakeries you're going to want to try this place.

Yelp
Bakery 1908 is a great place to grab lunch, a snack, dessert or a boba drink. When you walk in, you can either grab a tray and a pair of tongs to start choosing your own Asian inspired pastries, cookies or breads, or you can wait in line to get creamy desserts in the cold case like Japanese cheesecake or Matcha Crepe cake, or order hot foods and bobas in line as well. The hot foods are all dim sum and are mostly different varieties of dumplings, either by themselves or in broth. We ordered the Wonton Soup, Chive Dumplings, Shumai, and Shanghai Dimplings (soup dumplings). I also got the 1908 Signature Fruit Tea. The hard part was then finding a seat as this place is pretty popular. There are several seating areas from tables to more casual low table areas and even a patio outside. Everything is in nice neutral tones and wood with colorful murals on the walls. We realized our ordering mistake when the servers starting dropping food at our table. We ordered way too much food! All of the dumplings are huge, and packed with yummy ingredients. We could barely even finish the wonderful wonton soup with dumplings and big pieces of bok choy between the two of us. We ended up taking a lot of the food home by grabbing takeout containers along one wall. On our way out, we also purchased a couple of Swiss Roll type desserts for later. They were very light and delicious and not too sweet. We will be back!

Yelp
I think I found my new favorite Asian bakery in town! I've had so many friends and coworkers recommend Bakery 1908 and I'm honestly upset with myself that I've waited so long to try it out. There's plenty of seating open, and the whole place is very cute and clean. Half the building is the bakery, and the other half has so many different areas with different table and chair options. I picked up quite a few pastries from the self-serve bakery, and ordered a drink and dim sum from the counter. All of the pastries are authentic and delicious. Most have a sweet, but savory taste to them. So excited to finally try Bakery 1908 and will definitely be back for more!

Yelp
Parking 4/5 Selection 5/5 Customer service 5/5 Prices 4.5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Came on a random weekday afternoon and was greeted by the sweet smell, cool air and friendly smiles. Everything is labeled so you don't have to guess what you're looking at. I got the cheesecake, which is not the dense New York style I'm use to but was airy and only hinted at sweetness. I also got a jar and bag of cookies- both taste the same, like shortbread, but were two different labels. I will definitely be back to sit, sip, nibble & relax.

Yelp
What can I say? There is so much tissues from here. The food looks absolutely delicious. Most of it was. It was a lot of bread for me. I went all crazy ordered quite a lot, but I shared it with my three children and my mother my personal favorite was the milk bread and the garlic bread. It was very very very clean. Inside service again was amazing very friendly. It was my first time so I had no idea what I was doing. The girl at the counter explained everything to me and for everything I got it was worth the price very affordable. I would definitely come back to try some more stuff.

Yelp
Came here previously but came late and not many options were available as they sold through. Gave another try today at 8:45am knowing they opened at 8am, they had a lot of options but I'd say about half of the baskets were empty. I'd recommend coming around 9-10am in hopes they'd have more offerings out. The few I purchased were tasty and I got another chocolate crepe cake that I enjoyed last time.

Yelp
Bakery on one side , restaurant on the other side. You walk up to the counter, place your order, they give you a number for your table and call your number for pick up when your done. You then bus your table when your done. Our order, however, entailed bringing the food out to our table so that was nice. Also, sign up for their awards club and get any bun, that's right, ANY bun free! Nice!!! The place is always busy on both sides so be sure to bring your patience too.

Yelp
This spot is so interesting. There's a full bakery side and then more cold treats behind the counter, and a kitchen area for ordering hot food. You can pick your pastries with a tray and tongs, then pick your hot food on a kiosk. There are so many pastries to pick from, sweet and savory. I will say, the sweets aren't very sweet. And I like was hoping for more flavor from both the sweet and savory sides. The dumplings were pretty good and the size is ok as well. A friend tried the tea and said it was refreshing. It was filled with fresh fruit and in a cute container. The setup as far as paying is a little confusing, as you pay the counter for the bakery and counter items and kiosk for hot foods. But it's very artistic and pretty inside.

Yelp
I had to literally run, not walk, to review this place. I had an impulse decision to pull over and pop in for a late morning snack for the fam before the science center. I had no idea what type of place it was but bakery and sweet breads on the sign sounded great. It was such an impulse, I forgot to bring my phone! I was so upset because this place was just, WOW! So clean and orderly. The bread selections were out of this world. All flavors, all unique flavors that you'd like to see in this style bakery (taro, shredded dried pork just to name a few). We got a tomato mozz basil croissant square pastry thing. It seemed out of their flavor profile but AMAZING. The chicken curry bun literally silencing it's so damn good. The pineapple bun just devour-able. I can't wait to go back and try the dumplings and boba!

Yelp
It is a cute little bakery, food and beverage hang-out spot. It is an excellent place to go and get a treat and work on creative projects or disassociate in public on your computer. I feel like places like this sort of disappeared in 2020-2022 in Orlando, I am so thrilled to hang out and have a cool drink place like this back AND as a bonus, the bakery items slap and vibe is very chill in here! When I visited it was a Thursday after school hours and this place was loaded with soccer moms and their kids getting a treat. Glad the place is busy, but it was pure pandemonium for about 30 minutes with all the kids in the self service bakery area. After that, the bakery case needed to be restocked and it was a lot less crowded when the kids cleared out. I loved the Japanese cheesecake with house made blueberry preserves and the grapefruit lemonade tea. I got my drink with half sugar and it was still pretty sweet. I absolutely adored this little place and the only thing I would say they might need to work on is telling people to keep their receipt when they go pick up their drink item. I went to pick up my drink and forgot to bring the receipt, I don't recall being asked to bring it and they didn't want to give me the drink until I showed the receipt. Which I understand because they need sure the right person is getting their item, but I think they need to be a little more verbal or put a sign by the cash register instead of by the pick up area. Otherwise a fantastic place to enjoy your day and some delights.

Yelp
We returned to try non-bakery menu and loved it. We had the octopus balls, hah gao, siumai, sticky rice and a bowl of wonton soup. We liked the shredded fish sprinkled on top of the octopus balls. The fresh Hah Gao and Siumai are much better than most precooked then frozen at most dim sum places. The Sticky Rice in banana leaves (?) is moist and well matinated. 6 pieces of wonton plus 3 bok choy swim in the tasty clear broth.

Yelp
Huge inside with a very large selection of fresh baked pastries, sweet and savory. I was overwhelmed, but in a good way, because everything looked amazing. Garlic bun: tasted like a sweet Hawaiian roll. I loved the garlic filling inside and just wish there was more. Luscious and savory with a hint of sweetness from the bun itself. Perfect combination. My favorite of the three! Portuguese egg tart: very rich and creamy but least favorite of all. Theresa tart itself could have been a crispier shell. Pork floss, scallion, and ham: the pork floss had a sweetness to it that I quite enjoyed. Didn't get much flavor from the ham or scallion. Again, the bun was so soft and so flavorful. There wasn't an inside to this one, so all the extras were on the outside only. The bun was delicious but would have loved some of extras as filling throughout. Still thoroughly enjoyed though. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely return to try some more of there creations.

Yelp
This place is amazing! There is such a variety of yummy items to eat and drink. The vibes are great, and the prices are extremely reasonable. I love the ham and cheese, it is delicious! I personally believe the mocha iced latte is the best in the area! (Bonus points cute cups)

Yelp
Bakery 1908 is a fantastic addition to the food scene in Central Florida. Both their breakfast and lunch are a must try. I love the approach for some of the starting pastry on a self serving manner. Keep clean and sanitary with separate trays and tongs. The variety of flavors to choose from allows for almost anybody to find something they'll like. I'm mostly a fan of breakfast choices; this checkin has lunch menu instead. Maybe only not positive opinion is the most the breads are a tad bit too sweet for my liking. Aside from that, all is great and highly recommend checking out.

Yelp
So happy to see this Asian bakery grab & go concept come to this area in Orlando! In the Viet town area on East Colonial, it fits right in and is a place where anybody can find something that they'll want to snack on. This concept is a bit of a hodgepodge of everything with sweet buns, savories, desserts, dimsum, dumplings, cakes and Boba Milk Tea. Came here before a trek back to South FL for a quick bite with some of my favorite coworkers and friends. We were able to go to the bakery section, grab a tray and the tongs to choose from a wide variety of sweet and savory pastries. We all got something a bit different so we could try a bunch of them. I got the egg sandwich, the donut taro paste bun, and a cheese and garlic knot type of pastry. They were all good but my favorite was actually the egg sandwich- it tasted as good as it looked! When you're done, you can go to the register to pay and also check out their dessert case and more of the menu. It is a bit overwhelming and I wasn't able to order more because I knew the pastries would fill me up but luckily our table ordered more- soup dumplings, tofu, and boba. Everything was really good and you could easily come back here time and time again to get a new thing every time! There's a lot of seating both inside and outside. Parking is very in the lot. Staff is also helpful and welcome. Overall a great bakery and addition to the area!

Yelp
5 Stars for delightful sweet breads and savory pastries and soup dumplings that bring me joy! I recently had the chance to grab savory and sweet pastries at Bakery 1908 as well as hot dishes and I'm a huge fan now. When you walk in, you grab a tray and tongs and start filling up on the baked goods. I recommend trying both the savory and sweet varieties- specifically, you can't miss the taro doughnut. They have some pre-wrapped goodies that would make perfect hostess gifts as well as breads featuring multiple flavors weaved within the dough. Once you're ready, head to the counter to order savory dishes and/or pay. I recommend the soup dumplings and any of their brothy soups. I didn't get a chance to try their drinks, but they looked SO GOOD and are served in a cute little jar. Overall, a great, bright space, plenty of parking, complementary fruit-infused water, pastries that will compel you to buy more for home, and steamed or pan fried dumplings that don't disappoint. A+!

Yelp
The beautiful thing about having foodie friends is that when I know what I know and I'm stuck in my traditional American breakfast ways, I have guides to incredible experiences I may not have otherwise tried. I was in town for work and Bakery 1908 was our final group meal before heading home. I walked in and my eyes bulged out of my face looking around at the incredible variety of baked goods. I landed on a ham and chicken, a chicken and pineapple, and a cookies and cream croissant, which was all only $10! Such a fun experience grabbing a tray and tongs and picking whatever you want. We had such a good time discussing the options and perusing the beautifully lit cases. I also tried one of my friend's soup dumplings, which was delicious!

Yelp
A blink and you miss it bakery, Bakery 1908 is a relatively new bakery located on Colonial Drive in Orlando. I was here a little bit ago and the only thing I don't like about this place is the parking, but that has no affect on how amazing the bakery, staff and food is here. I love the wide open layout and the fact you are able to order anything you want, when it comes to hot foods, at the counter or touch screen kiosks. While I didn't have any food to sit down and eat, I did buy a handful of pastries and breads from their little to-go section on the left side of the place. Everything was insanely fresh and I was looking around at everything for at least ten minutes before I decided what I was going to get to take with me. I grabbed some of the floss bread, which was some of the softest and airy bread I have had, and the shredded topping gave it an amazing flavor! I also grabbed a red bean cookie, which was three dollars, and for that price it is a steal! The crunch of the outer shell was amazing and there was a nice amount of red bean filling so every bite I had, had some of the flavorful filling. The texture of the red bean was perfect and I haven't stopped thinking about it since! Prices are very reasonable and the staff is super friendly, quickly packing up the assorted snacks I purchased and giving it to me with a smile. The workers were constantly restocking the bakery section because of how fast everything was being bought, and that shows me they have an amazing following that I am also now a part of. I can not wait to get back there again and hopefully soon!

Yelp
The baked goods from Bakery 1908 are delicious and well-executed! I unfortunately did not have a chance to visit the store, so I was unable to see the bakery's ambiance. My friends who did visit talked glowingly about the open and friendly environment. I did try some of Bakery 1908's buns, which I greatly enjoyed. The strawberry jam bun was HUGE! For its price, the bun is such a good deal. The bun is a gigantic, fluffy bread filled with whipped cream and strawberry jam. Biting into the bread was heavenly - each bite was bursting with bread and cream and strawberry jam. What a dream combination! The hot dog bun was also delicious. The bread wrapped around the sausage was so soft and doughy. The hot dog bun was savory and chewy. I absolutely need to come back here to try more breads and check out the physical store!

Yelp
This is definitely the place to go in a group and order several things to try. We did exactly that! Awesome variety of drinks, sweets, and savory options. You also simply must show up early to get the most out of your visit. All the pork buns were out and a few other items were out for the day. BUT that doesn't mean there isn't anything else to try. There's plenty ! My favorite thing was the savory onion pastry with pork floss. I couldn't really read the name lol but that thing was awesome and the whole table agreed I chose best ! Everything had great flavor. Loved the broth for the soups. The dumplings were kinda soft and fell apart which was a bummer. The takoyaki had a great flavor and were very nicely dressed but were a little too battery. The walnut chicken was so insanely crispy and had an amazing flavor. They have chili oil and vinegar with the napkins and utensils. There's also self serve water in multiple locations. In addition to that the to go boxes are available to grab. There's so much seating but it fills up and stays filled! Make a game plan with your group for extra efficiency. We enjoyed a table outside. Parking can get kinda hectic it's a small place. Overall i'm a HUGE fan and can't wait to come back and try some more.

Yelp
This is such a neat place in mills area! So much seating inside. Staff is nice, and there was a good assortment of breads. My favorite is definitely the savory garlic bread. Milk bread also very tasty. I got an iced caramel latte, which was good but the caramel is the thick kind, not syrup and doesn't do well mixing into the drink. Very reminiscent of caramel added to a Dunkin' drink. Also had a milk tea which was in an interesting funky cup. Very nice place would be back to try the dumplings.

Yelp
The siu mai was a little pricy but so delicious! Each bite gives different savory textures and flavors. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Nice selection of pastries both savory and sweet to choose from. When you walk in the pastries and mobile ordering is to the left and the sit down area is to your right. There is also an ordering counter straight across from the entry way. The cashiers are friendly and sweet. Their Golden Onion Floss pastry is perfect for breakfast or afternoon snack! It's light, fluffy, and packed with savory flavors. The inside is clean and offers a peaceful setting. It's very relaxing and next time I'd love to dine in to taste their other offerings!

Yelp
Loved everything I had here at Bakery 1908! There were so many choices, and I wanted to try everything because they all looked good. But I ended up settling on the Golden Onion Floss and Strawberry Jam Bun. The Golden Onion Floss was my favorite. I love a savory bun and this delivered. The bread was so soft, there was a good amount of mayo. And the middle wasn't left plain. I would definitely get that again. The strawberry jam was also super delicious. It was like a cake in bread form. The fruit was super fresh and it wasn't too heavy or too sweet. I want to come back in general but I also want to come back to order off of the cooked menu.

Yelp
I've heard so many positive reviews about Bakery 1908 that I came by for my first time with high expectations. My mom and sister came along, and we all agreed that this is a neighborhood gem! We were blown away by the fantastic options of savory and sweet buns, pastries, and other baked goods. Everything was reasonably priced, so we were happy to pick a dozen different things for us to take home and share. Dining in, we ordered three dim sum menu items, and loved them all -- Har Gow, Siu Mai, and 1908 Tofu. They have a vast beverage selection as well, and we enjoyed a Thai Milk Tea and Signature Fruit Tea. Both were delicious! This is a fantastic place with a bright dining room and friendly staff. Service was excellent! Highly recommend you check them out!

Yelp
Súper excited to find this bakery while visiting Orlando, it's been all over Insta and I had to go inside ! Amazing vibes such a clean and organized bakery. Love the different options to get something to be on the go or actually order to sit in . It's very spacious inside so even if it's full you have some room to move . There's a part where you grab a tray and choose as many baked things as your heart content! There's a little bit of everything from sweet to salty . Oh and a must try is the Japanese cheesecake it's so fluffy but not too sweet. The staff it's super friendly and readily available to help you in case you have questions. Can't wait to come back again & get more goodies !

Yelp
This place is HOPPIN! The building was busy and we walked in through the side entrance from the parking lot. At first it was confusing trying to find our way around, but we got there! Bakery items are self serve with tongs and trays, then just head up to the counter to order drinks and pay. The pastries were pretty good, I had a lemon roll and I really enjoyed the Black Milk Tea with Boba. Beautiful murals throughout the building with varied seating made this place very instagramable.

Yelp
Bakery items- 4 star Tried a variety of baked goods and they were all tasty and fresh. Cool place to try Asian flavors like black sesame, red bean, matcha..etc. Food- 2 star (being generous) So they have a whole restaurant too. During checkout we made a rash decision to try the chicken dumplings. We sat with our bakery items and wait for the food. The broth was good. But the texture of the chicken inside wasn't good and the carrots I feel like were cut too big. The texture was so off putting that I didn't even take a picture or finish any of them. Just one with one bite. So I thought mind as well eat the vegetables. I bit the bok choy and it was gritty. What do you know- there was dirt all in the bulb. So disappointing.

Yelp
I love this place! It is very clean and beautiful inside. The parking lot is a bit small and beat up and fills quickly on weekends. The staff is so nice and helpful. They have trays and tongs for selecting whatever pastries you choose to get. Everything I have tried has been so delicious. Even the ones I've taken home and had in the fridge have kept really well. They also have good coffee and comfortable seating. I want to go back and try their dumplings. I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
All the items were delish. You get to go in and pick out buns and baked goods from probably 30'different items, all reasonably priced and filling. The counter checkout can be a bit slow but it was busy! The vibe is chill with plenty of options for family friendly bakery or more brunchlike environment. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Ok, look, I can't explain the amazing-ness of this place in 5 stars. Can I give it 10? Can I go back literally daily? I know in my photo the bakery grab and go looks empty but they filled it again right behind us. They had room temp grab and go, as well as refrigerated grab and go so don't miss them. Starting at 11 they also serve dimsum and dumplings, they have a full coffee, tea, and boba menu too. Literally the cakes were delicious. We ate some in house and then took more home. Something about the texture of the sweet breads is out of this world. I have to admit I've been dreaming about going back. Get the sweet cheese bun and the lemon bun too! Also, call me up I'm happy to go with you!

Yelp
This is my second visit to Bakery 1908 after the soft opening. The bakery has a variety of cakes, pastries, and drink choices. Ambiance is nice with easy listening music; not a lot available seating as the guests occupied approximately 75% of the tables. The staff are courteous and most of them bilingual. I invited a friend to join me. We ordered our food via the kiosk. The first four items of food took about 15 minutes to deliver to our table. One of the dishes, Siu Mai, which contains shrimp, mushroom, and pork. Unfortunately, it literally left a horrible taste with the uncooked pork. Hopefully, my friend and I will not get sick from this incident. I would be very cautious going forward at this establishment with their quality.

Yelp
First review of 2024 and I finally made it in to check out the new Bakery 1908! Drs appointment days means my husband takes me for a little treat afterwards, and I was craving some dumplings and pastries. First off, I love that they have their own parking lot onsite with ample parking spots. This place is so unassuming from the outside. We walked in and were shocked by how large it is. We headed straight to the pastry cases and grabbed a tray & a pair of tongs. There are SO MANY options to choose from, but I was feeling more savory so I went with the ham & cheese roll and my husband chose the bavarian cream roll. Both were super light, fluffy and delicious. Once you have the pastries you want loaded up on your tray, you hop in line to pay at the counter. At that time, you can order additional items like boba tea, coffee, soup dumplings, cakes, etc. We of course had to try the Shanghai steamed pork dumplings (5 per order). I also got the black sesame cheese foam tea and my husband got the cheese foam latte with caramel. The soup dumplings were juicy and the broth inside had amazing flavor. We both really enjoyed our beverages. I love a sesame drink since they're not too sweet. After a great first experience, I already can't wait to go back!

Yelp
A necessity in Orlando! Reminiscent of bakeries in Taiwan. I went on a Saturday around noon and it was absolutely packed. They have a fairly decent sized parking lot and I was lucky to have a person pull out right as I was going to park. Every table was filled and the bakery side was completely filled with people. They had a few items that ran out and they started replenishing about half of the items when I was checking out. The buns were good but I wouldn't recommend the steamed bbq pork bao. Very little meat and sauce and too much dough. Otherwise, the other buns we got were very good. The menu looked to be more expensive than average prices so we did not try it this time, would love to give it a try in the future! Must try: pineapple chicken bun and hot dog bun

Yelp
Made two trips to Bakery 1908 so far and have been delighted both times. Mornings are super busy but service is pretty quick. If you have time, late afternoon a couple hours before close it's much easier to get a parking spot and a table. I appreciate their service model as you go in to grab a tray and clean pair of tongs to choose what all is going home with you. With all of the options it's honestly hard to choose but did find a favorite in one of their cheese pastries. Last time I was there I wanted a new type of coffee and chose the cotton candy latte, A+ for the fun presentation, a bit too much sweet for me but it was photo worthy and the cups they serve the drinks in are a great time. I fully expect to be back again!

Yelp
Decided to stop here during my trip to Orlando & it was the cutest bakery spot! Everything was clean, organized & there was a lot of different pastries/desserts to choose from. Great atmosphere & a lot of seating as well so it's definitely a good spot to hangout with friends & grab some snacks/boba! I definitely recommend the peach bun or ham & cheese roll. The pork fried dumplings were also a great snack as well. I tried the pork pastry & it was a little stale but it could possibly be due to coming late at night! We did fill a whole box of pastries & the others were all really good. If they had a place down in South Florida, I'd be there everyday! Definitely will come back.

Yelp
Wow I had never experienced anything like this. As soon as you walk in you feel like you're inside an anime. This Asian bakery offers such a unique experience. The pastries look so pretty and colorful you almost don't want to eat them, but I definitely did. First I had the golden onion floss. It was soft and sweet, but at the same time salty and with a nice bite to it. It was absolutely perfect. Then I had a blueberry cream cheese pastry and the pan-fried pork dumplings. They were both 10/10. I also tried the black sesame milk tea with cheese foam and the caramel latte. They were both yummy, but my personal favorite was the caramel latte because the cheese foam on the milk tea was saltier than I thought. When it comes to the dumplings and the drinks, you could definitely find these items at a lower price in a different restaurant, but not with the same quality. Even though some menu items are on the higher end, I think the prices are fair for the quality. The place is self-service, but the workers were still very nice and friendly. The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere. Many people were working on their laptops, while others were simply enjoying a meal with their friends or family. I can see myself going back for either or.

Yelp
Yum! Loved my dumping soup and the soup dumplings I would go back just for that any day. But also enjoyed the baked goods including the onion, cheese and meat pastry. Definitely will be back for more.

Yelp
Hands down the best bang for your Asian buck in Orlando! I regret not having tried Bakery 1908 before and am very much looking forward to my next time at this haven for delectable baked goods, milk teas, and mouthwatering dumplings. I came here for lunch with a friend on a Friday. The place was packed. Though parking was a bit of a frenzy, the ensuing experience was well worth the inconvenience. I ordered the vegetable dumplings in soup, which was the perfect comfort food choice for a chilly day. I believe that the dumplings' dough was a bit too thin though, as the dumplings dismantled, which is the only small complaint I have about my entire experience at Bakery 1908. I also tried their ham, red onion, and cheese bun, an AMAZING bang for your buck, for only $3.25 (70% baked goods are VERY well priced). It was fluffy and full of flavor. I looked around and saw what other people had ordered from the menu: the steamed and pan-fried dumplings, the fried tofu cubes (an award-winning appetizer), the Taiwan popcorn chicken... everything looked tasty. There are plenty of seating options inside and outside. I particularly loved their pristine and well-organized display of baked goods and the gorgeous painted mural inside.

Yelp
Sooo randomly driving down colonial and saw two new boba places and decided I need to try them, one was Bakery 1908. Up one arrival it was a bit late so most of their savory baked goods were finished but there were cookies and cakes. I decided to try their popcorn chicken, milk tea and lychee mango fruit tea adding boba to both drinks. The drinks were delicious and the boba was just rights, not too hard and not too soft and slimy. The chicken was fresh and had great flavor. The service was nice and effective. In the back of the restaurant there is a self service for your utensils and water. A nice touch. Overall, a great experience and tasty food wanting me to return as soon as they open to try more items.

Yelp
Enjoy a long list of Coffee, teas, milk teas, fruit teas, & Boba! There's also an extensive list of dim sum and hot dish items. Notable shout outs are the Shanghai Dumplings, Siu Mai, and the Taiwan Popcorn Chicken. You also cannot leave without a sweet treat from the THREE walls of pastry cases. The flavor profiles are endless!

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of the self-serving concept this establishment has. It's sanitary as they have an enclosed space for the fresh baked goods as well as more cakes and custards behind the glass at the front. I ordered a Taro milk tea with the intention of only having ONLY taro, however, I was served a classic milk tea with a splash of Taro.. I unfortunately was not a fan of this drink as classic milk teas have an interesting after taste. One thing I wish they could offer is warming up what you bring to the front before they wrap your baked goods. Overall, I would definitely love to explore some of their other drinks next time as well as more of their baked goods!

Yelp
To be honest, it was very hard to enjoy this place, because when you walk in directly on the left is a bathroom, and for whatever reason that bathroom made the whole place smell like a sewer. When walking into a bakery, you think you'd smell something sweet, but I couldn't stand the smell, so I made my order quickly and left, which is unfortunate, because the place itself looked cool, and was quite spacious. Amongst my group, we had ordered brown sugar, Boba, cookies, milk bread, and lemon fluff roll. To be honest, it fell in the middle ground for me, though my cousin did enjoy the milk bread. My drink was also okkaayyy but my gosh it was definitely sweet. Truthfully, I probably would've given it 4 stars but that smell was really bad. I'm glad I'm not pregnant, cause I wouldn't have made it past the door. There is something up with the piping in there. I went with 5 other family members and they all said the same thing. It certainly didn't stop business, but I hope that gets fixed, cause I won't go back because of that.

Yelp
This place is amazing, if you're considering going just do it. The interior is a very chill vibe- light colors, plants, natural lighting. Their bakery selection is amazing, they have both sweet and savory pastries/cakes and other baked goods. You just grab a tray, pick what you want, and enjoy! All baked goods are a great value, nothing exceeds $5. Other than their bakery, you can also order small bites and teas! My personal favorite is their 1908 tofu (must try!). I love love their popcorn chicken/chicken karage, and their rose lemon fruit tea. Servers are friendly, you can also order on a kiosk if you prefer. The food comes quick (depending on how busy they are) and very hot and fresh. Grab some chilli oil from their self service station and enjoy your food!
