On the Grid : Honore Bakery

"Part of the collection of establishments tucked away in North Ballard along 70th. It's a french bakery with color macarons, fresh baked breads, croissant-dough goodies, and honest french desserts. The Kouign (pronounced 'queen') Amann is heavenly. There's even a back patio with a 3 or so tables in you can't find a spot at one of the 6 window seats. Lighthouse Coffee guarantees a bone-dry cappuccino does the trick." - Brooks Running Global Creative

I'm generally a bit generous with 5-star reviews, but Bakery Honoré genuinely deserves it. It is a testament to the quality of their pastries that they are only open three days a week, for 7 hours a day. The pastries are immaculate, and the croissants are the best I've found in Seattle and possibly elsewhere (I say this as someone who's been to Arsicault, Craftsman & Wolves etc.). The coffee is also amazing and the matcha latte—one of my favorite drinks of all time—is the best I've had anywhere (and this drink can be VERY hit or miss depending on where you go). The atmosphere, decorations, music, and the friendliness of the staff are just as enjoyable as the food. You just have to see for yourself. (= They have a few heated savory breakfast sandwiches and some seating if you wish to enjoy your food or drink on-site. For what it's worth, I walk two miles to come here every weekend... so they must be good!

Came here about minutes after opening on a Sunday and was third in line, and soon there was a dedicated line. Very much enjoyed the ham gruyere croissant and the berry tart. The bread pudding was good too, loved that it wasn't too sweet and had a lovely texture but personally could have done without the added chocolate chips. Good coffee, cute cozy interior and friendly staff too :)

Bakery Honore feels like stepping into a cafe in the middle of Paris rather than Lake City. The ambiance is expertly curated bringing a nice warmth to every interaction. The staff are always smiling and happy to engage customers to help them pick from the myriad pastries. Pegasus coffee and espresso are available for the perfect pairing. Despite being open only Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the time of posting, the bakery sells out daily and is a true gem in the neighborhood. If only I could give 9 stars...

**UPDATE: Found this sharp plastic piece in the Choc Decadence!! I was one of the customers who had always liked this bakery until this morning. When I arrived around 7:50 this morning, there was already quite a long line, and after waiting for about 45 minutes, I was able to order. As you can see in the attached photo, I ordered various pastries and desserts to celebrate Mother's Day, and I paid a significant amount of $66 at the bakery. The problem arose when I arrived home and opened the box to find a Key Lime Tart instead of the Choc Decadence I had ordered. Not only was I looking forward to trying the Choc Decadence, but they also charged more than twice the cost of the Key Lime Tart, so I tried contacting them. I called them 3 times, but they never answered, and there were no other contact methods available. After trying another 2-3 consecutive calls, I finally got through, and the woman who picked up the phone said she can exchange it for the Choc Decadence if I come back. There was NO apology for their mistake. Since I didn't want to ruin Mother's Day, I decided to drive back to the bakery. When I got there, the woman checked my Key Lime Tart in the box, pouted, took it back, and finally gave me the Choc Decadence. Again, there was no apology for the time wasted going back home and driving back again, nor any acknowledgment of their mistake. Also, they took back the wrongly handed Key Lime Tart. I'm not sure if they might resell it to another customer. There is NO respect for the customer who willingly dedicated over an hour of early Sunday morning and paid a significant amount in this business. There is NO genuine apology for their mistake in this business as well. I am deeply disappointed with their customer service and will NEVER return.

Honore is such an awesome bakery! They have lots of range for those with sweet and more savory preferences, and their bakery is nicely decorated. It would be easy to spend 5 minutes or an hour here. My favorites: the pesto Parmesan pastry, the ham Gruyère and the spinach feta pastry. They are absolutely worth the trip!

Google
So good! Hands-down the best French pastry and baked good shop in Seattle. You walk in and feel like you’re in France. Take a bite of any of their pastries, desserts or sandwiches and OMG!! I didn’t know that food could be that tasty!! 😭🤩 The croissant dough is so perfectly flaky and crunchy on the outside yet fluffy and distinctly layered on the inside. My personal faves are the kouign-aman, twice-baked almond croissant, cherry pinwheel and egg and bacon pastry (sorry! I forget the name lol). Just tried a croque monsieur sandwich today and that was also de-lish! And the people seal the deal, I tell ya. Awesome people that work there, all really nice and welcoming, and in it to make a great experience for everyone who comes in. It’s made me come back like 10 weekends in a row now! 😂 Also the coffee is bomb AF. 🤯 if you’re a latte or cappuccino lover like me then hope that the barista with the purple hair makes your coffee. Milk foam skills for days yo! 💪

The pastries here are delicious and fresh! We had a hard time choosing so we grabbed a few things. The fruit was fresh, tart and juicy, and the crust on the raspberry tart was so light and crisp that it perfectly paired with the sweet cream and raspberries. I'm looking forward to trying the rich chocolate items! We also got some crostini that are gorgeous and will make a lovely snack or addition to lunch. So happy to have this place in our neighborhood! Charming decor and great music, too. I got a matcha latte that is delicious, but I look forward to trying their coffee and savory pastries next time.

Google
Amazing croissants! The almond croissants were exactly like the ones we had in Paris. We’ve been searching for a local patisserie like this for some time. The ladies who were working in the shop were lovely and had great recommendations. We preordered and picked up on Saturday. Highly recommend!

Yelp
The pastries here are solid! I particularly enjoyed the pecan sticky bun on this recent visit. Since I like to order multiple pastries at a time to be enjoyed over the weekend, I will say the sticky bun held up well the day after. Honore is opened Friday through Sunday and only have the beloved Kouign Amann on the weekends. You have to get there early to get one. They have signage for some items, but not all, so be prepared to ask questions. I went on a Friday morning after my dentist appointment nearby and there was not a line. They have seating inside and parking in the back.

Yelp
How was this my first time stopping at Honore?! I randomly stopped here to get an afternoon matcha latte and didn't realize what I was missing this whole time! (Also I was apparently very lucky to only have three people in line in front of me. My friend said there's sometimes a line out onto the street!) Honore is cute, quaint, and cozy. The walls are lined with art and trinkets and handwritten chalkboard signs. The shelves filled with bread, pastries (and empty platters since I missed out on the morning goodies) and grab and go items. My matcha latte was made perfectly, and I was persuaded to buy the pumpkin bread pudding by a kind human in front of me. I'm sad I missed out on the fresh baked bread, but now that I know Honore exists, you bet I'll be back again!

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of pastries, and sometimes travel great distance to seek them out. When I read the reviews about this place selling out at 10AM on weekends, I had to check it out. I called around noon on a Friday to make sure there are still pastries left, and was informed by a very nice lady that indeed there are because Friday is their slow day. Here are my favorites: #1 Marionberry tart. I'm not a tart person (don't like baked fruit), which means I don't usually enjoy tarts. The crust of this tart is seriously life-changing, well, at least mood-changing. It's thin, buttery and crunchy. The sugar crystals around the edge adds another layer of texture. I would highly recommend getting at least 1 tart to try! #2 Pumpkin bread pudding - it's huge, as in I shared with another person and had it for 2 days. But I enjoyed every bite. It's custardy from the pumpkin puree, and the walnuts really gave it texture. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed bread pudding this much. #3 Sticky bun - you can't go wrong with sticky bun. The bottom has almost a caramel shell, baked to perfection. My only complain is that it's way too small. I didn't love the lemon brioche nor the peanut butter cookie. With that said, I will definitely come back to try more, probably on another Friday.

Yelp
Oh so yummy...too good.. I'm glad they aren't open all the time or I would never stay on my fasting lifestyle! Lol But, if you want high quality pastries with the best & freshest flavor...you have to try this place!! Check the days and hours and call ahead to order.. It's a very small shop with HUGE flavors. They can take requests over the phone. French at its finest..
google avatar

Yelp
S/out to my cooworker for putting me on this spot. French pastry with fire pan au chocolates, little too set almond croissant, and great ricotta danish. They sell out pretty dam fast so go close to opening openings or feel as disappointed like when she didn't get you that ps5 on Christmas

Yelp
If you're passing by when they're open, just pull over. The staff here is so nice and the pastries are so good. No notes. Strong coffee, perfect pastries, and I kind of like the limited hours cause it feels very exclusive once I can get in and grab some treats. Pretty small inside so I wouldn't plan on hanging out, parking is behind.

Dan M.

Yelp
Great coffee good service Would give it five stars but was hoping for bigger selection of pastries. It was a Sunday at 11 so that may hade something to do with it. Going back a different day
google avatar

Diana X.

Yelp
Really busy and will quickly sell out of things on the weekends. The place has a traditional feel of a French bakery, from the interior to the presentation of the viennoiserie. Compared to other bakeries around town, I thought the croissant and kougin amann were pretty good. Deliciously buttery, a heavier style and not the ultra air-cushioned lattices of darkly baked croissants that's all the trend of many bakeries these days. The coffee was decent and service felt a little rushed and a bit commanding, but if the croissant style and a mom and pop feel style French bakery is your thing, I'd definitely recommend.

Molly T.

Yelp
Amazing pastries. I really like their fruit danishes and my partner always gets a chocolate pastry. They are very fast and have decent coffee as well. It is very cozy. There are only two tables so it's often a good place to walk in and out. I haven't talked to the staff much because they are always so popular and busy but they have always been polite.

Yelp
I really wanted to like Honoré, and seems plenty of folks do, as a line out the door, can be often seen. The decor is overwhelming and seems that it was someone's eclectic collection that they needed a place to store. The pastries are a large but not memorable and a bit on the pricey side.

Yelp
I stopped by with a friend before heading off to a craft fair on Sunday. We got there around 10:15am and most of the pastries were already gone. It was pretty busy. Me and a friend tried a kouign amann, nutella brioche and a mixed fruit tart. By the time we got settled into one of the few seats, it seemed most of the pastries had sold out. I overheard that the kouign amann's come out at 10am so it seemed me and my friend had gotten lucky. Onto the goods! The kouign amann was yum. It's softer than most of the other takes of a kouign amann I've had in the area and is just as sweet. The brioche was a tad dry for my taste. It did have a lot of nutella though. The fruit tart was good and I have no complaints beyond the fact I probably didn't need a fruit tart in the morning after a pastry. So a self inflicted complaint rather than the bakery. Parking was easy behind the bakery and most people seemed to get their pastries to go.

Yelp
I had the BEST experience at Honore today!! I live closer to another bakery down the road and actually went to that other bakery first. I went out for pastries at 8 am but they seemed like they didnt have all of their pastry stocked yet? Only half the case was filled versus how it is usually is when i get there at 10 am :/ And the vibes felt kinda off there so I decided today's the day to go up the road, i'm going to try Honore today instead! BEST DECISION, EVER! Not only did they have MOUNTAINS of pastry on display right at opening, the experience and ambience was exactly what you would hope for. The music was lively, the decor was quaint, the employees were delightful and actually seemed happy to be at work at 8 am. Best of all, HUGGGE almond croissant and DELISH pan au chocolat. I will be back to try more from the other mounds of pastry they had available :-)

Dylan E.

Yelp
Incredible pastry work by a dedicated owner. Friendly and professional service, fantastic atmosphere. You won't find a better twice baked almond croissant in Seattle.
google avatar

Lena A.

Yelp
Great but you have to go early. They also have changed their hours in the last few years and I believe are just Friday -Sunday now. Also they take the month of August off so be sure to check before you get your hopes up. My favorite is the egg bacon brioche and the savory croissants like the mushroom or spinach feta. They range in price but $4-6 for most. Everything I've had is delicious.
google avatar

Naomi J.

Yelp
Great pastries but check their hours - they're usually open Thursday through Sunday, but they start selling out of some pastries before 9am. I generally don't bother coming after 12 noon, unless I want a plain croissant or baguette.
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
The pastry here is wonderful and the service is fantastic. I love their almond croissants (second best I've had), their scones and their kouign amann. The trick is, they run out of things quickly and their hours are very limited. They close in August, they're only open on the weekend, so it's a challenge to get the lovely treats. Prepare for either a line or limited choices, but I still recommend them.

Laurel M.

Yelp
Excellent pastries and wonderful service. The team works beautifully together in a small space.

Paul M.

Yelp
I love this place. There is such passion and true artistry going on here. As good as it gets!
google avatar

Mara B.

Yelp
Love all the pastries they have especially the savory ones. The only thing I Don't like is the limit on how Many you can buy. Since I'm from Vegas. I Wanted to take some home back to Vegas but since it's limited I'm not able to. Still overall it is the best place to get pastries, breads and cakes. Can't wait to go back there this April.

Yelp
Cute and quaint. Amazing pastries, and friendly customer service. It also doesn't hurt that we leave so close to it. My little girls love hanging out at Honore.

James R.

Yelp
Another quality Seattle upper end bakery I went early and the selection was great and got croissants and berry and lemon tarts. The croissants especially lived up to their hype and most light and flaky I returned a couple of times since, a bit later in the morning and croissants both times sold out so a little bummer here Staff always friendly and nice and well arranged display cases and layout Cute inside and cozy interior for sitting and having a coffee and a pastry For sure a Seattle bakery to put on your to visit list Jim at Maplelag in Minnesota
google avatar

Yelp
Hit or miss Coffee was so-so. Shortbread was stale and flavorless Cherry tart was delicious I got really excited when I saw this location on Lake City Way. I remember the Honore location in Ballard where everything was fabulous. Unfortunately, this location is not the same. Would I go back? No.

Yelp
First but not last time at Honore! I was so impressed with their baked goods, display and service. They clearly put a lot of thought into the decor of their cafe as well as their flavors. Quick note: in a time of COVID-19, they are enforcing masks and social distancing. I have included a photo with their sign about masks, and I can say I felt super safe and confident with how seriously they take the social distancing. The line on Sunday at 9:30 AM was out the door and around the corner! We were served in about 20 minutes to arrival, and we enjoyed our experience with the staff. The pesto parmesan croissant, and their bacon and egg tart were my favorite savory options, and the key lime pie was my favorite sweet option! They also make a great chai latte with almond milk (upon my request). Honore is awesome! Their baked goods are beautiful to look at and delicious, and their staff was courteous and positive. Thank you Honore for wonderful service and wonderful goods! What a nice way to spend Sunday morning. Also extra points for easy parking! :)
google avatar

Jessamine A.

Yelp
If you're looking for good pastries in Seattle, this is your spot. The coffee and tea is good, but the baked goods are incredible. We got a parmesan & pesto croissant, a spinach & feta croissant, and a caramelized croissant and all were still warm and fresh out of the oven. There is limited seating and the bakery often sells out (a testament to how good it is!) so get here early.

Yelp
Revised review and starting from a five (not my original four) to be fair. Thrilled for a new North Seattle indie bakeshop, but I have to tell it like it is. Taste is subjective, but this experience does not compel me to return. And yes, I do have pastry training and have worked in the industry. Minus one star for that chilly reception. First impressions matter. Think customer service. Minus another star for the lamination or lack thereof. See added photos. Think technique. Minus another star for faint scent and flavor. How is this even possible? Super brief (initial) review while sitting in car at shared parking lot off of Lake City Way on this rainy Sat around 10am (10/19/19) to check out Honore Patisserie and Espresso. Drove to other sites and my car did not emit any tantalizing baked goods smells from the takeout box. Returned home and had a photo/dissection/ tasting session with The Homie while watching the UW-Oregon game. He made other commentary that I won't add. Let's just say, he won't write his own Yelp review. **This Honore is not related to former Honore in Ballard, now Rosselini's** Automatic 1 star off from the get go from the hurried, standoffish service. I make quick, succinct questions and don't dawdle in long pastry lines. Reminders of working the counter in pastry school. No signage on the baked goods, especially to differentiate from plain, sweet, or savory viennoisserie. Let's guess what it is or what this costs? Hence the line...but if you commute on I-5, best analogy is a rolling slow down. Initial line, but they crank people through fast. Warm interior decor. Few seats. Lots of takeout, like me. Slightly congested from a cold, but surprisingly no pronounced desirable aromas. To be dissected carefully at home. Hmmm, curious. (See added photos) Let's hope these baked, larger than norm, product is worthwhile after feeling the 'brusque, don't smile or talk to me' at the very end treatment when paying. Not even a thank you for stopping by (=dropping green here vs other worthy, established, and consistent indie bakeshops in Seattle). Sheesh. You're surrounded by baked treats, not lemon wedges! But whatever, maybe that person didn't start their morning well and doesn't represent the entire place. For comparison for better scent, taste, technique, and customer service, try these indie sites: Sea Wolf Bakers in Seattle/Fremont Celine Patisserie in Seattle/Phinney Ridge Coyle's Bakeshop in Seattle/Greenwood BreadFarm way the heck north in Edison Iron Rooster Bakery in Fairhaven/Bellingham Enough said.

Yelp
Cute place with great pastries. I enjoyed their chocolate croissant and cream puff. It has parking so makes visiting easy.

Noneya B.

Yelp
I've been there enough to beleive that it's better not eaten. Foods quality is hit or miss. So I just don't. :(

Boris G.

Yelp
Came to place a pickup order for 2 days ahead. The salesperson right away refused to accept it by saying she was fully booked. She didn't even bother listening for the details, like the order type or the pickup time, even though the request would have been just for a few pastries, and the sign above her head says that they accept orders 24 hours ahead for pastries and 48 for other things... This is not the first time this happened, but definitely the last time I'm going there.
google avatar

Vicky G.

Yelp
It was just okay. :-/ Came here at noon on a Sunday. All sandwiches were sold out (cafe closes 3pm), but some cookies and tarts in stock. I opted for a latte and cookie. Chocolate chip cookie was not great. Similar to a grocery store cookie. Kind of dry and sits like a lump in stomach once eaten. Latte was so-so. Wish the milk were frothier. Interior is cute, some seating indoor and outdoor. Overall, would not return unless for convenience in the area.
google avatar

Scarlett B.

Yelp
Coffee was wonderful. I'm very picky with my oat milk and this was frothy and creamy, perfect vanilla oat milk latte. Loved the ham and cheese croissant. So flaky and buttery. I would suggest toasting the croissants, it would have been even better if it was warm! Ambiance is quaint and cozy Definitely will be coming back

Mischa C.

Yelp
Soooo glad I found this gem!! Delicious, fresh, artisan crafted baked delights. I appreciate the knowledge, kindness and friendly attention of the staff. Quaint and cute atmosphere, will definitely be on my favorite places to stop and breath in the goodness!!!
google avatar

Julian S.

Yelp
Best in class. No other words to say! Tastes like the well-laminated, crunchy exterior, tender interior and buttery pastries Besalu had before the management change to Herkimer (? If I'm not mistaken). The staff is super nice and friendly (feels like small town Texas), and you can tell they put love (and honed expertise) into their product and labor! Friendliest bakery staff in Seattle! The interior is super charming too and they have a ton of selections!
google avatar

Shayan G.

Yelp
The almond croissant are the best. But they run out just in 30 minutes. One of the best French pastries in seattle.
google avatar

Clorae B.

Yelp
Really wanted to try this place. Visited based on the hours and they still weren't open. Tried calling and no one answered. No voicemail, no recording. Why advertise you're open if you're not?

O C.

Yelp
Excellent array of French pastries, staff were welcoming, friendly and personable. Loved the set up and atmosphere of the setting. Next time will take the time to sit, enjoy a cup of brew with decadent pastries!
google avatar

Christina H.

Yelp
I cannot believe such a wonderful French bakery is tucked in the busy Lake City Way corner. My first time was after taking my dog to Magnuson Park. Dirty, cold and exhaust, I found this place on my way home. Only wanted a cup of hot coffee, but the bake goods was far above expectation. If you go, skip two meals and fill your tummy with croissants. Croissants with fruits, or feta cheese, or plain, they are all delicious. My favorite is the apple croissant. Also the biscotti's, and papillons! Oh, the papillons dipped in chocolate tastes so fine by itself. But if you dipped in latte or hot milk, the melted chocolate is just out of this world.
google avatar

Sheila V.

Yelp
The parties and coffee were amazing. You gotta get there early because they run out of everything.... That's how good they are/
google avatar

Debbie K.

Yelp
Honore really has some exquisite pastry items but I'm knocking down my star rating after tonight's encounter. Again, I was impressed by their selection of pastry items but i don't get the whole no pricing concept. I asked the employee in the store why there were no prices on anything and he explained that the owner doesn't want prices because she wants to interact with the customers. This to me makes no sense because surely you can interact with customers with prices posted. I find it rather annoying that nothing is prices and it's a mystery. Their coffee menu is hardly a menu. But I was also explained that they can make just about anything from drips to lattes. Again, would be nice to know how much things cost.
google avatar

Patrick M.

Yelp
I haven't often seen a business work so hard to not take my money. I called Sunday of last weekend to check on ordering a fruit tart for Mother's Day and the person who answered informed me that my request could not be managed due to lack of staff and that person suggested that I call back "later". I call back on the next day that the bakery is open (today) and now the story is that the bakery isn't taking any more orders for Mother's Day. A real shame as I very much enjoyed prior visits to this little bakery.
google avatar

Danny C.

Yelp
Not sure if this is the same one that was on NW 70th Street, but definitely feels like it. Glad i found this place (again)! Great pastries, easy parking, and great to see this little bakery serving the community again! We had the leek and cheese, as well as feta and spinach... both flaky, and yummy. Will go back again and again!
google avatar

Alice H.

Yelp
I so fear this jewel of a bakery is going under! They cut their hours down in july to just the weekend bcz of lack of help to bskecstuff and their shelves are empty shortly after opening. They are now on vacation for the entire month of august. How can a good business survive like this? Every time i go, they are either closed or out of everything i want to buy. Please survive, honore! You are an asset to the community!

Lindsay T.

Yelp
Fresh French pastries made with top quality ingredients. Coffee was delicious too! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Worth the wait!

Yelp
Came here on a Wednesday morning at around 9:45am to get some breakfast items to share with friends. There's plenty of parking in the lot behind/to the side of the shop. There was only two people in front of me, but it took a while to get service since there were only 2 staff behind the counter making drinks, getting items, and ringing up customers. The biggest thing that slows everything down though is that nothing is labeled. You have no idea what the croisants or pastries are. So the people in front of me had to ask what multiple items where, and then I did the same, and so did the people behind me. There's also no prices so it's a complete surprise when you pay how much you owe. That said, service was patient and friendly, and the items I got overall were solid: - chocolate croissant ($4.25) was fine, good amount of chocolate, but not as layered/laminated as croissants at other bakeries like Celine - blueberry and sweetened ricotta croissant danish ($4.95) was very good, with nice layers, tasty ricotta, a good amount of berries, and a lovely glaze. I'd get this again. - pecan sticky bun w croissant dough ($4.95) was my favorite item. Great texture from the caramelized sugar and pecans, and not too sweet. - chocolate ganache tart ($5.95) - solid, not too sweet. Very thick chocolate sable cookie base. - key lime tart ($5.95) - nice balance of tart and sweet. It was garnished with slices of lime which was fine, but might have been nicer to just have some edible zest or candied lime pieces instead of sour lime. - chocolate eclair ($5.95) was actually the modt lackluster item we tried. First, it wasn't all that large for the price and second the inside was just plain cream, not chocolate, not even really a custard. And the choux dough was nothing to write home about, kind of doughy and moist. I wouldn't get it again. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to get pastries from here, but if you're in the area, try it out!

Sue G.

Yelp
Good coffee and amazing pastry. The people who work here are warm and inviting. It seemed they had a lot of regulars especially for take out. I cant wait to go back
google avatar

Yelp
Seattle is lucky to have quite a few really outstanding bakeries, especially in my latitude of North Seattle. Honore has been around for awhile, although the move to LCW is a bit more recent. They have always had very large and tasty croissants, but I recently tried a few of their cakes and they have been great. they have a good selection of smaller cakes that will feed 2-4 people. My fave is probably the chocolate raspberry. Glad that they are still around!

Steve S.

Yelp
Best classic French pastries I've had in Seattle. They use Pegasus coffee which is also great.

Mark O.

Yelp
This place is a 5-Star gem ! The staff are very friendly, the food is fresh and delicious, and the ambiance is "tres Parisienne" ! Give them your business [ dine in or take-out] and your stomach will be grateful ! You can't guess it from the humble facade, but step inside and you think you're in Nice, Amboise, Vezelay or Chartres - The decor, the Art Nouveau wall posters, the Belle Epoque lamps, the pastries and French sandwiches - what a treat ! Parking in back.
google avatar

Alex V.

Yelp
Rude service. The barista (owner?) gave my sandwich to somebody else and then proceeded to pick on me (!). Charged, unpleasant experience - the opposite of what I seek when going to a cafe for a moment of peace, and agree to overpay for food and coffee. Not going back there anytime soon. The two stars are for the baked goods which are okay though not amazing as advertised, and paired with unremarkable coffee.

One thing I have appreciated during COVID is that the bakeries and patisseries have still been able to offer their delectables for carry out because it's one of the few joys to which we cling right now. Each time I've gone the staff has been friendly and helpful. The cases filled with pastries are a picture. Of everything, I absolutely love the tarts and their cookies. I'm surprised at how much I like the cookies. I don't know if it's me or if it's common, but I don't tend to think the cookies are ever very good at shops that specialize in pastries, but Honore has delicious options. They always have several croissant varieties sweet and savory, but the choices diminish quickly as the day passes. The most options are available early.
