The ladies serving customers were good, it seems that it is their own bakery. We tried different kinds of sandwiches like goat cheese which was good and pizza and tortilla.

Great cafe in the none touristy part of Barcelona. Great coffee and pastries. Nice friendly staff, chilled atmosphere. Visited 3 times.

Good latte. Only cafe that opened in early morning in the area. Latte is pretty standard and not bad. Pastry was on the dry side but the price is very reasonable unlike other shops in the tourist area. It’s a very nice local corner cafe filled with locals instead of tourists.

The worker is really annoying. Everything but friendly! We asked for a sandwich with cheese and they gave us cheese and tomato. My friend can't eat tomato so we went back to clarify that we only asked for cheese and she told us that we should know that the sandwich has tomato and next time we should ask only for cheese 🤣 it can be a cultural thing which we understand. But we don't know the culture and the rude way we were treated made us feel really bad. Place is also dirty and unorganized. At least the bread is good!

Best hot chocolate (with Baileys) I’ve ever had! And of course they have San Miguel on tap.

A nice and quiet cafe in the middle of Gothic Quarter to get away from the hectic crowds for a bit and cool down. Very sweet lady behind the till and very yummy food and drink.

Really nice lady serving, who was happy to speak English and made us feel very welcome. Pastries were amazing, as were the hot chocolates. Thank you / gracias. :)

Yelp
Poor lady serving us seemed too bus tho she was still super nice and fast! Sandwiches are good, you can ask them to toast it (it's better that way). I don't recommend that pastry thingy with powdered sugar (you can see in the photo), you can try it out but nothing extraordinary. It felt like a cozy neighbourhood bakery.

Yelp
We were quite pleased to find this place literally two doors from our a AirBnB. The cashier was very efficient and knew English which was a boon for us since our Spanish es muy mal! We got a selection of pastries and a chocolate cake, all of which were muy fabuloso! We also each had café con leche. ¡Gracias!

Yelp
I loved this cute little place!!! It was behind our hotel and I found them on yelp. So happy we did. Very affordable and delicious! This post is a few weeks late, but I remember: The bikini(sandwhich) was €2. We got 3 cafes, 1 fresh made orange juice (€3, somewhere around there), and 4 bikinis, I think it came out to like €14. The dessert treat was bought after and I think it was €2.50, kinda pricey but it was tasty! Everything was fresh. A good amount of indoor seating. I could locals coming in and even sitting down with music or a iPad. Really good place for a tourist who wants an occasional low cost breakfast!!! I absolutely loved it here!!!!

Yelp
For a quick and easy breakfast in the Gothic neighborhood, this continues to be a favorite every time we visit Barcelona. Grab a bikini, cafe con leche, and a zumo de naranja (oj) or one of their many pastries and call it breakfast.

Yelp
You want a breakfast taken to the next level? Try out this café. I had one well tasting black bread with chicken, and my sister had a baguette with some great goat cheese. Don't know why the bread was black but it was good for sure. Before we left my sister ordered a piece of heaven. YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS CAKE'ish thing. Don't know what they call it, but it was some sweet pastry with white chocolate and strawberry and pistachios. To summarise: this was a perfect start on a sunny day in Barcelona

Yelp
Simple, affordable, and delicious breakfast. I always get the Bikini (like a ham & cheese panini) with Orange Juice or Cafe con Leche. All for roughly 3 Euros. Hard to beat that.
