First there was Taskin Bakery (in Paterson NJ). Taskin taught us that we need not settle, we deserve a better Baklava.
Then came Antepli 2 and Sultan Artisanal Bakery, both took the baklava game in NJ to another level, especially Antepli which hails from Gaziantep (Turkey), the home of Baklava, Pistachios, and extra ordinary cuisine. Designated as a City of Gastronomy by UNESCO in 2015, Gaziantep has a thousand Baklava joints. Even the mid 100 Baklava joints in Gaziantep are better than the top Baklava establishments anywhere else.
After Antepli 2, it seemed that this was as good as it can get. But along came Baklava Home at 1022 Main Street in Paterson NJ. This is the new standard for premium Baklava. For the moment things cannot get any better.
