This open-air mall is a hidden gem for anyone looking to enjoy a calm and refined atmosphere. It features a selection of high-end boutiques and stylish cafés with a peaceful vibe, making it ideal for a leisurely stroll or a quiet coffee break.

Bal Harbour Shops is easily one of the most luxurious and well-curated shopping destinations in the country, and it has become my number one stop every time I visit Miami. From the beautifully landscaped open-air layout to the world-class lineup of designer boutiques, everything about this place feels elevated and exclusive without being overwhelming. Whether I’m browsing flagship stores like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Fendi or grabbing a bite at Makoto or Hillstone, the experience is consistently top-tier. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined, the service across stores is always impeccable, and the attention to detail in every corner of the property is unmatched. It’s more than just a shopping center—it’s a lifestyle destination, and I never visit Miami without making time for it. Five stars, no question.

Google
I think this is the most attractive, selective, elitist, and exclusive shopping mall in the US. It is also the most beautiful, scenic, well maintained, and pricy.

Really nice mall in the right end of town. Beautifully decorated with lots of water and flora, and also small enough size to be quite cozy. Shops mostly European high end retail incl watchmakers. Truth is, and for all north American luxury malls: if you are from Europe, they are a bit…. Meh..

Google
Lavish, stunning, and supremely elegant, this is a shopping mall like no other. With plenty of gourmet dining and high-end shopping, this is the only way to spend the evening while in the area. The manicured gardening and plant styling is superb and only adds to the glamorous finish. Saks is wonderful, and the service at Aba is outstanding. Stroll along and see the ✨️ 💎✨️💎✨️

Yelp
This mall has so many shops!!! A lot of high end for sure so selection is amazing. This mall also has many dining options and definitely worth visiting! I do enjoy meeting up with my friend to have a nice dinner after a long week at work.

Yelp
This has to be one of the highest concentrations of luxury shopping I have ever seen. It seems like every high end brand is here. I really liked the lush tropical vibe inside the main walkway with the little ponds. The juxtaposition for me is that the brands are top shelf, but the place itself is a bit of a dump. It is very dated looking, 70's concrete bunker style, with clunky metal railings everywhere. The food options are pretty old-fashioned luxury too: sushi, Italian and French. We ate lunch at Carpacccio - the food and service there were pretty good, but it was very expensive for what we got. I am not complaining about the food bill, because you should expect to splash the cash if you come here and eat. Overall, the vibe is very old and dull here. If you want buzz, higher energy, new luxury, etc., I recommend the design district.

Yelp
If you are considering applying for a job at Bal Harbour, I strongly advise you to reconsider--especially if you value time with your family and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. As a Sales Associate, your hours will be grueling, often starting as early as 10 AM and stretching until 9 PM. While the store may be open during these hours, expect very little foot traffic after 7 PM, leaving you standing idle for long stretches, without the opportunity to earn much. Parking is another major challenge. Despite paying for a spot, employees are relegated to the top floor of the parking garage, and any attempt to park elsewhere may result in a ticket or towing. The work environment itself can be disheartening. The staff--both security and maintenance--often appear overwhelmed and demoralized, likely because of the high demands and limited options in this location. It's a harsh reality for many, and honestly, it feels more like a "slave ship" than a place of work. Having previously worked in environments like the Miami Design District, which provides a more supportive atmosphere for both employees and customers, the contrast is stark.

Yelp
They need to make their parking garage credit card scanners user friendly and get rid of the nasty, disrespectful woman employee who comes over to your car. It's ridiculous and should be intuitive and entirely self service.

Yelp
This place is so lovely! Walking around, checking out different luxury stores and having lunch at one of their awesome restaurants is the perfect recipe for a fabulous Sunday. They offer parking in their garage or valet that's 10$. The design of the space is so aesthetically pleasing -- filled with orchids on the trees and beautiful flowers and art pieces in every corner. I love going to some of their restaurants like, Avenue 31, Hillstone, Le Zoo, or Makoto to name a few. As for the shopping -- if you're looking to buy anything designer, this is the spot for you. They have almost every designer you can think of so next time you're looking to make your big treat yourself purchase, definitely make your way over to Bal Harbour Shops! It won't disappoint.

Yelp
I absolutely adore this place. It reminds me of Alamoana mall in Honolulu simply because it is outdoors and the layout as well as the greenery, the ponds, the fish and the turtles. Remind me of Alamoana. This place actually has valet services that quite a lot of people use. The great thing about the Small is at any huge name that you could possibly ever want to find you will find here however, you will not find mid priced or more affordable options at this location in any way shape or form. Your best luck is going to be at Neimans's or at Saks for some of the other product lines that they might carry that are more affordable. This was a great visit, simply to window shop, and to look, as well as to have access to some pretty hard to find brands around the globe. We also were having lunch here, which I will do in a separate review but the food options here are incredible.

Yelp
Beautiful place with a fewer traffic and nice selection of high end stores like Chanel, Gucci, Versace, Ferragamo, Dolce and Gabbana... full price stores and yammy food at not low cost... calm small place with good service.

Yelp
Our next family adventure take us to Bal Harbour Shops located in Bal Harbour Shop Fl with a category of 4.6 and more than 5,254 reviews, looking for a new place to walk around and enjoy the day. This place is amazing If you look around you might think that you are in Milan, a country where fashion is a national symbol, All the stores are from Europe and the majority from Milan or Milano, the quality of the merchandise is what makes it the best. The cool temperature offered by all the plants and trees that are a decorative part of the place are incredible along with ponds full of koi, Japanese fish, which makes a perfect combination. And if all the walking and visiting shops and admiring the place makes you hungry, there are also several restaurants from different countries ready so you can enjoy an incredible meal.

Yelp
Bal Harbour Shops is located between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay in the upscale village of Bal Harbour. Its history goes all the way back to WWII when the land the mall now sits on used to be military barracks and a prisoner of war camp. In 1965 developer Stanley Whitman built Florida's first high end fashion center. After studying other malls around the country for 8 years, Whitman rejected the enclosed malls taking advantage of the new invention of air conditioning in favor of an open air mall that showcased the lush tropical South Florida environment. Instead of creating a mixed use mall with businesses that provided useful services as was typical of the time, he instead sought to entice high end fashion retailers to South Florida of the type that could have only been previously found in New York and Paris. He hired Herb johnson from a Miami based firm to design the mall. Whitman was also influential in the Bal Harbour community. He helped to acquire a new zip code, improve traffic plans, landscaping and beach restoration, improve the water main, create a resort tax and more. Bal Harbour Shops really took off when Whitman convinced Neiman Marcus to open their first specialty boutique outside of Texas in Bal Harbour. The stores success spurned other luxury retailers to follow suit. A second floor was added to the mall in 1982 and a third floor was completed in 1983. Today Bal Harbour Shops is 58 years old and one of the highest grossing shopping centers in the world. In addition to Neiman Marcus and anchor Saks Fifth Avenue which opened in 1976, you can shop across three floors such luxe brands as Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Prada, Chanel, Rolex, Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels, and Balenciaga to name just a few. Dinning options include Aba, Carpaccio, Hillstone, Le Zoo, Makoto, Bianco Gelato, and Café en 3. You won't find a pedestrian food court in this high end mall. Bal Harbour Shops has a special complimentary mall membership program that provides a suite lounge area where you can sit and relax, a complimentary parking reward, coffee, and other programs and member benefits throughout the year. My favorite part of the mall is the landscaped courtyard garden. There are trees festooned with colorful orchids, fountains, and koi and turtle ponds. I came to the mall to see the temporary exhibit Fleurs de Villes Voyage. This was my first time here and I had a few insights from the experience. While I loved the exhibit, traffic is nightmare surrounding the mall because of Haulover Park on the other side of the bridge from the mall. The large and very popular park puts a lot of traffic into the small artery of road leaving the mall. I experienced traffic delays going to and leaving the mall. Once you finally reach the mall you have to pay for parking. It was a nominal $1 and hour. It wasn't anything expensive but you do need to remember to pay your ticket before getting back into your car to leave. Lastly the mall is under a major 500 million dollar construction project. The mall is trying to add another 340,000 square feet to the 511,000-square-foot shopping center. The back of the mall and the parking garage look terrible. Bal Harbour Shops was sued for a million dollars by a construction firm for not paying their bill and if that wasn't bad enough, they are in litigation with one of their two anchors, Saks Fifth Avenue. They also lost the chance to secure Barney's of New York in the mall. How the mall will resolve the construction issue that has been going on for years now still remains to be seen.

Yelp
Went here just to see the Fleurs de Villes display. It was lovely! I missed it last year. The flower displays were so carefully and thoughtfully put together. Gorgeous designs. The only thing was the heat had already started to wilt some of the beautiful blooms. Nonetheless it was a fabulous display. I would definitely recommend checking this out when it comes around again next year. It would be nice if it was done at a cooler time in the year as it is all outdoor. There was a lot of construction going on and the elevators did not work. Mostly luxury high end stores and a few restaurants. Nice to walk around and browse or shop.

The Bal Harbour Shops located in 9700 Collins Avenue at Bal Harbour Is an exquisite and sophisticated collection of designer boutiques and restaurants in a tropical garden setting with a lot of plants and water features The legendary fashion mecca includes Chanel, Gucci, Oscar de la Renta, Prada, Saint Laurent, Balmain, Tory Burch, Dolce & Gabbana and anchors Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. Yelp
I'll never forget the day I first came here. I was 17 and searching for my senior prom dress without a clue that the dress I was trying on was priced at 10k. Afterwards, I realized I wasn't the Cuban Jackie O and took my talents elsewhere yet didn't completely disregard the level of panache this shopping and dining district had to offer. Afterall, "FasHiOn iS mY PaSSiOn" xoxo The way I describe it to people who are unfamiliar with Bal Harbour Shops is "Julia Tuttle recreates Rodeo Drive pero con chancletas". That's the vibe. The glam here is timeless and is a more vintage rendition of what the Design District was basically inspired by. In the event that you're not in the mood to spend 2k on a shirt, there's plenty of fine dining for those who indulge in fancy dinners with pretty martinis. I am the truffle countess after all so...I can recognize a good menu when I see one. Here, there's plenty of that goodness so it's like the wealth that keeps giving. It's a lovely place to take a stroll and window shop for diamonds yet still be able to realistically make purchases at stores that aren't over the top pricey that offer timeless pieces. One of my favorites is Agent Provocateur because items like that never go out of style. Sak's sells my favorite fragrance and I usually come in December when it's buy 3, get one free for Bond No. 9. I love the glitzy glamour that Bal Harbour embodies and so coming here is never a bad idea...unless you accidentally try on a 10k dress.

Yelp
So here I am again with the dot, dot, dot.... super rich. Aka you see it in the car parking sections with all these elaborate cars. Anyway - THIS place is gorgeous, sleek, sexy, and most probably out of your league stores expensive wise, unless you are filthy rich/ drunk/someone's sugar daddy g/f...you get the drift. After spending time here, you start to think that dropping a 1,000 dollars for this or that (mainly clothes), that it's not that much!!! Then its time to leave people. I could do so much with a 1,000 dollars... 1/ save so many animals that are homeless, 2? donations to a good charity, 3/ hell, take my family members out x 10 or even 12 for the price. However I spent a few hours here and was lulled into their world of plastic fantastic. The ladies restrooms are delightful for a pubic toilet! Clean and dreamy for a mall...ie open to the public, like you are inside a very nice exclusive hotel/ restaurant. They have koi fish and turtles lounging in their own designated pool areas on the ground floor. I also saw people dressed to the nines doing insta pics. Oh! and again I saw PLASTIC FANTASTIC.... aka bad face lifts, lip implants, botox, boob..... you get the drift, female and male, its Miami bro', what do you expect! I enjoyed my time there and scuttled off home, wrinkles and all!!! LOL

Yelp
Nice high end mall near Miami Beach. Good shopping and good restaurants. Went to Aba for dinner and then walked it off with some shopping.
google avatar

Susan I.

Yelp
The day started with a few clouds, so when the beach is doubtful you go shopping and when you're in Miami Beach you head to Bal Harbour Shops. For those who don't know, Bal Harbour opened in 1976 and was the first shopping center in the world to include both a Saks Fifth Avenue store and a Neiman Marcus store. In 1978, the fifth Gucci store in the United States opened at Bal Harbour Shops. All the world's most coveted brands have outposts in this tony spot. While Bal Harbour Shops has consistently ranked first in retail sales for shopping centers in the United States, the International Council of Shopping Centers named Bal Harbour Shops the world's top-producing shopping center, based on square footage. So, if you want to know about the latest fashion trends, a walk around this exclusive shopping mecca will enlighten you. Here's what today's must haves include: Maxi Dresses, distressed denim and lots of pink and coral abounded. Big chunky shoes for both women and men were everywhere. Of note, Saks has (in stock) the largest Croc style shoes you've ever seen for men by BALENCIAGA. The hefty shoes will set you back $950.00 but think how stylish you'll look while running errands or even gardening! As always, the mall was a peaceful oasis of refinement that continues to lure in celebrity customers as well as, window shoppers. There is a fantastic array of restaurants and bars where customers can relax and unwind after a "hard" day of shopping and if you find yourself struggling to carry all those bags home, the malls concierge services will happily deliver or ship your purchases. After all these years, and competition from nearby malls at Merrick and Wynwood, Bal Harbour retains its irrefutable crown as the top luxury shopping destination in South Florida.

Yelp
Cant afford anything here but it's still a pretty nice place to walk around. Right now they have some kind of art and garden exhibit that was pretty cool. It's an outdoor mall but with all the shade, water features and fans, it feels more like the shopping area of a ultra fancy resort Parking is a bit of a nightmare right now cause they closed one entrance but we found a spot pretty quickly I guess this is a good mall to see the "Rich & Famous" cause we ran into Rick Ross the Boss standing by himself outside Hillstone
google avatar

Sherry J.

Yelp
- Lovely place to go shopping - Lots of big brands here - Unfortunately there's only one bathroom for the entire shopping center and it's on the 2nd floor. It's also closed after about 7-8pm - The greenery makes for a great environment and they have ponds with turtles swimming around - The restaurants all looked very good and expensive - Parking is not bad at all
google avatar

Chase M.

Yelp
Let me start this by saying I'm by no means this mall's ideal customer. However, with that being said, this mall was still worth the visit. The window shopping was nice and there were a ton of small details for this open-air 3-story mall, like the turtles/koi ponds, fresh greenery/flowers, and amazing space design overall. There are also good restaurants for a dining experience anyone can appreciate. We had dinner at Makoto then went to Carpaccio for dessert and coffee. Overall, a fun experience ... however, it's strange they don't validate parking for eating at their restaurants. In the grand scheme of things, $4 for parking isn't bad. Just odd they don't validate for being a paying customer.

Ricky R.

Yelp
Do yourself a favour and go to the Design District. If you're a person with any common sense, you'd see how dilapidated this place is through photos.
google avatar

Liz R.

Yelp
This mall is so interesting, definitely high end so if you're into that kinda thing. I came for Books and Books. I'm glad there's a location here. Parking was kind of strange so I had to park on the street and walk over. Hopefully they get that fixed soon. I'm happy to see there's a lot of people shopping today but keeping their distance and wearing masks. I'll definitely come back soon but maybe when it's less hot (it's an outdoor mall). The Koi pond and all the plants are really inviting. I think I'll grab an ice cream from Bianco to cool off! Happy Sunday!
google avatar

Paulina A.

Yelp
Bal Harbour Shops is by far my favorite shopping center in Miami. It's outdoorsy, open air setting is glittered with palm trees and lined with designer stores including Tiffany & Co., Balenciaga, Versace and many more. If you're in Miami, definitely make a stop at Bal Harbour---it's well worth the visit.
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
This is one nice open-air mall. Many high fashion designers here. It's not that long of a mall, but it has three floors, the top not having much. I like the fish and turtles in the ponds; very cool. I don't like how many of the stores have sales staff just looking outside waiting to prey on you--talk about intimidating. I'm sure they're not all like that, but it's still not that inviting. Neiman Marcus is an anchor store, but it feels like it's in need of an overhaul.
google avatar

Joshua M.

Yelp
Money can't buy class. Yes, the Bal Harbour Shops has a lot of high end stores, but despite the amount of money going around, their is very little manners to be seen. Almost every single store had a 6'4", 320lb man guarding the front door, and as you even walked by to look, they'd stare me down. I felt intimidated to even look into one, let alone walk in. Another example; I accidentally bumped into a waiter (or he bumped into me) at Le Zoo, to which I instinctively said, "excuse me". As he turned away, he rolled his eyes without speaking a word. Classless. Rude. Not a very welcoming atmosphere. Parking is $10 per hour without validation, but if you have your parking ticket validated, it's only $1.50/hour. I got some chocolates from upstairs on the third floor, and that way I saved a few bucks on parking. It's a bit much. The A/C situation is also pretty bad, especially for a place in Florida, they need to do better. To be frank, I just didn't find this place somewhere I'd go to again. There are plenty of places you can go which are just as nice, and the workers there don't think they are hot stuff.
google avatar

Jacob T.

Yelp
Fabulous outdoor mall with fabulous high end shopping and some excellent restaurants. Valet parking (but not an ATM on the property so bring cash) Dry clean and tidy. Plenty of security so you can shop with a safe feeling.
google avatar

Joe D.

Yelp
Beautifully landscaped open air shopping mall (with fans and misters to cool you even on hot Florida days), with just about every luxury store chain from around the world. The drawbacks are paying for parking and the somewhat attitudinal staff of the mall itself. First the good then the not-so...It is gorgeously landscaped with tropical foliage and modernist pools, fountains, even koi under a transparent sidewalk. Actually a fairly old shopping mall that has been updated continuously over the decades, the place retains the same glamor today it did decades ago. It can be enormously fun shopping, eating and people-watching here. Shopping runs the gamut of every swanky brand from around the globe. For the jewelry stores, there are quite friendly large guys in smart suits near the door, obviously armed security guards. The dining has improved quite a lot in recent years, with a good range of options these days. The one drawback is the parking system. Perhaps it is elitism, but why have a paid parking deck in a non-congested area? Especially if you have stores selling things priced higher than a new luxury car? Validated parking ticket only gets you a discount, not free parking HUH?Even cheap ole' Joe isn't that much of a nickle-and-dimer, and that seems annoying enough to drive an extra half mile to Aventura. Logistically it's silly too, causing back-ups at peak times in and out off busy streets.

Yelp
Love this place too much! Went shopping with my husband and the boutiques are great! Bvlagri was one of my favourite places to shop the selections were wide and they are very attentive to you. Not once did I every feel left out while shopping here. Chopard was also a great place to shop Amanda made my experience extra special and Lucia from bvlagri was extra welcoming and was patient with my purchase and custom needs. I also got a few things from Alexander McQueen I'll probably be biased here but what's not to love about Alexander McQueen. Elizabeth was my personal attended we were looking for weeding suits and she flew them in straight from Las Vegas and had a seamstress ready on the spot. Will go there again whenever I'm in Miami
google avatar

Eric D.

Yelp
Fancy and big spenders welcome! No bargain hunting here. It's all designer and high end.
google avatar

Kara M.

Yelp
The Bal Harbour Shops has such lush and beautiful landscaping! I love how peaceful and serene this small open air mall feels, until you look at the price tags in the stores. Be sure to check out the koi ponds here too! You do need to pay to park here, but I believe shops will validate your ticket if you spend a certain amount. My happiest memory here was when I came for the first time in 2010 on a vacation to South Florida and scored my very first designer bag purchase! If you love designer handbags, you will enjoy Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Goyard, Fendi, Gucci, and more. It's fun to just LOOK! I've only been here a couple of times since moving to Fort Lauderdale, but the beauty of this spot always amazes me! I don't come too much because my budget is more Coach Outlet than Chanel. There are 3 main spots in South Florida for high end shopping: 1. Here 2. Design District in Miami 3. Palm Beach's Worth Avenue Of the 3, I personally prefer Worth Avenue, it's basically a Rodeo Drive by the sea with beautiful architecture.
google avatar

Danny P.

Yelp
Great service they closed the store down for me while I shopped and gave me champagne. I will be honest I don't like really bright or hideous clothing that most designer stores have but Dolce & Gabbana have a lot of elegant clothing and shoes. I really liked the Italian sculptures and the layout of the store. In Tampa they do not have a D&G store so when I travel to Miami I always pass by to grab a few things. D&G needs to come to Tampa! Tampa has 2 designer stores Gucci and Loui V but they are super tiny and barely have stock of anything you want.

Yelp
High class shops with expensive jewelry, shoes clothes etc. I went into Oscar De La Renta due to a beautiful exhibit of costume jewelry. Found a cute parrot bag for $450.00 dollars, found it but didn't buy it, ha. There's a variety of restaurants to dine in. There's a fee to park depending on your time visiting. The ground level has a tropical feel with lots of humidity, so for walking I prefer the ac.

Vicki C.

Yelp
Luxury shops only. The poor employees were standing around looking out windows waiting for customers to enter. The few we spoke with were friendly & accommodating. Saw a cute pair of basic looking sandals, they were priced at $1500. Nothing unique for that price, just buying name. Parking was inexpensive.
google avatar

Alex B.

Yelp
This place is so old. Definitely stuck in the 90's. The mall (if you can even call it that) is very creepy. I would give it 0 stars if I could. You have to pay for parking as well. I would say go spend your day at Brickell City Center or Aventura Mall. Hard pass on Bal Harbour. Also, the workers in the stores seem to be forgetting that they work RETAIL.
google avatar

Matthew S.

Yelp
Absolutely fabulous place to shop and eat. Gorgeous people watching, sensational selection of stores. Safe and secure place to be.

Jane S.

Yelp
In theory, Bal Harbour Shops should be a wonderful place to spend an afternoon - the list of shops is quite good (it's akin to Madison Avenue) and the indoor/outdoor aspect, with lush greenery and koi- and turtle-filled ponds sounds and looks great. That said, the mall is an absolute nightmare to navigate in part due to construction, giving it a very cramped feel. Thank goodness there were attendants in the lot to help customers get parking tickets and direct people. Inside the mall, escalators were out of order as were elevators, which is simply unacceptable given the large number of families with strollers and mobility-challenges patrons. Also ridiculous is the bathroom availability - did you know the only bathrooms are on the second floor? This is crazy and frustrating given the lack of working escalators and elevators. This is not a problem if you don't have to get yourself anywhere quickly, but if you are pressed for time, be warned. The best aspects of the mall were Makoto (Japanese, 3rd floor) and the well-stocked Saks.
google avatar

Daniella S.

Yelp
Get your best designer pumps, handbag and hat and saunter over, do not walk, saunter over to this posh landmark that has been the center of haute couture glam since the notion of malls became a notion. High end no exceptions here. Great restaurants, clothing, jewelry, and all your luxury needs to be had. A place to watch and be seen and do bring your little lap dog it is so tre chic mon ami. Paid parking but what do you expect dahling?

Yelp
This is a very, very fancy shopping center. It's a well-known shopping plaza in the heart of Bal Harbor known for amazing designers, dreamy fashion, and high price tags! Parking is super easy- pull up, press button, and take a ticket. Drive into the parking garage, and go for it. I've never seen it so crowded that I couldn't find parking on the first floor. It's always super easy! If you do decide to dine at one of the fine establishments here, don't forget to have your parking validated. It won't be free, but it will be discounted! We love the Houston's located here, as well as Makoto- a super high end sushi place. Both are a worthy splurge! Shopping departments like Saks abs Neimens are inside, in addition to the Fifth Avenue-esque stores. Rolex, Gucci, LV, YSL, etc. It's all here! The Saks does have a nice sale section and I have found many good deals inside. The atmosphere is outside, so if it's raining, it might not be the best day to come. They have large koi ponds, and a stunning tropical landscape. It's truly a beautiful place to look it!

Yelp
The restaurant and store selections are upscale. I believe the shops are becoming more developed for a wider variety.

Yelp
Let me explain very briefly: I've been a customer for years and love the place. Entering and exiting the parking was a breeze. Now, since they did the redesign of the parking entry /exit it's been a nightmare. Who in the world had the brilliant idea of installing those stupid parking machines...?!?!?! They're impossible to reach! Not only their too high (specially for sports cars which are very common at Bal Harbour, but also too far away, that many have even scratched their cars in order to touch the screen of the machine to get the ticket. Same story on the way out. Now, those lovely employees that used to be inside the booths are now standing outside and helping customers get the tickets from the machines and f bc she them read on the way out. And the worst of all is that someone was paid to have that installed...unbelievable!

Yelp
I have been visiting Bal Harbour Shops for the last 30 years. It used to be such a great place to stroll around, grab a nice lunch or dinner and if course to shop. Nevertheless all the charm of this beautiful place has gone away. Starting from their new mall entrance which requieres all visitors to enter from the same entrance; following with the struggle to find a parking spot. To make even worst, the entire parking lot in front of the restaurants has become a valet area which has become a competition of drivers wanting to show off which car can make the most noise while people are eating their food. If this mall wants to respects its visitors; they should be considered with their guests and make sure the valet area is not in front of the restaurants.

Yelp
It's like a country club that allows the common folk to come and roam. Just like the others have said, it's an open/outdoor mall that's filled with mostly high end luxury stores and few a restaurants. Some come to see, others come to be seen. And let me tell you, if you go here, you will see plenty. It's not a huge place; only 3 levels. Except for silicone body parts, egos and fanny packs on Eastern Europe and Asian men; those are definitely huge around here. You can probably cover the whole place in half hour or so. They also have a koi pond; could be nice for kids. So come by, check out the sights and sounds of this LaLa land. It's worth going to at least once.

Yelp
I was greeted by Rasa the minute I came in. Was looking for shoes for my husband. His size was not available so she went on to order them for me while we sipped champagne. A pleasure to visit

Yelp
This is my favorite mall; the food, shopping, and macarons are great! I've been here 3 times and have had a pleasant experience every time. They have every designer store you could wish for: Chanel, Van Cleef & Arpels, AP, etc. They have the friendliest sales associates that I have ever encountered. The girl at Rag and Bone was very sweet, the girls at Intermix were extremely helpful, and the girl at AP was so sweet. I actually still keep in touch with a sales associate and make purchases over the phone! The mall is so beautiful to look at. The Koi ponds, the palm trees, the cleanliness. The stores are all well sized and very organized. The best part is that they have a Ladurée! I also really like the variety of restaurants. Carpaccio was great and Le Zoo pretty good.

Yelp
So beautiful and luxurious shopping mall to spend your day in. It has a lot of nice restaurants and designer shops. It also has a nice environment. It makes you feel you're in Beverly Hills.

Yelp
If you have money to drop, Bal Harbour Shops is a worthy contender for said droppage. An open-air mall, this place is exclusive with many designers having shops there. Not to mention that the architecture is simply stunning. Walking around you'll find state-of-the-art elevators, fountains, and even a pond full of koi fish. Parking is a bit expensive, so if you go, by all means go to a store and get something, even if it's just a restaurant. The price for parking will drop then. We passed by a coffee/tea shop and it was adorable. Enjoyed my time there heavily. My only lament is I forgot its name.

Yelp
If money is no object, then this is the place for you. If you wear designer everything and know every designer, this is the place for you. That being said, this upscale mall isn't for everyone. They get a lot of wealthy tourists passing through as well as residents from the area. At lunch, this is the place to see and be seen -- as long as you're dressed to match the decor. It is one of the most upscale malls in the area. And one of the few family owned malls left in the United States. It is pretty, open air, with lots of plants, and name brand store after name brand store on three floors. There is valet parking, garage parking with car washing, and even a covered parking area plus self parking -- all at various prices. If you shop or dine here, do get your parking ticket validated. It's well worth saving money parking -- you'll need it. It wasn't very busy mid day, mid week. But they do have various sale weeks which will affect a store's traffic. If you're in the area, you may want to just stop by and browse. Who knows? You may find a "bargain"!

Yelp
Caroline (sp?) at Balenciaga provided the best customer service of anyone at any of the shops! She was so super helpful and didn't mind showing me all the options and retrieving a laptop from the back to make sure it fit in the bag. Really nice personality and a pleasure to deal with! I'm coming for ya, City bag! Kinda silly bc others could be snotty/impatient/rude/judgmental (ummmm... working retail must suck, I get it, but lose the attitude). The mall itself is relaxing, aside from sticker shock. Some of the brands have an outlet at Sawgrass, but the items are different. So if you want unique stuff at full price, and all the sizes/options, this is the place. I wish it had more dining options, but it is a small mall. No tacky kiosks. No Cinnabon. There's a cute bookstore on the 3rd floor. Parking is $1.50 per HOUR...WITH validation! Feel free to ask anyone in the shops for validation. You're not obligated to buy anything. If you're in the area, check out Haulover Beach. There's even a beach for dogs!!

Yelp
I like this mall for growing...not even sure I would call it a mall. High end stores with high end prices. I never even made it to the first floor because I had a hair cut on the 3rd floor...I need to go back and just take my time. The weather was awful outside so it didn't make me want to stay and just look around. I love the architectural feeling of the shops - open air, walk around...easy going.
