I went to Baladna Jewelry to exchange gold pieces. I am very pleased with the whole experience from the price fairness to the selection of the jewelry, they have a big selection for every taste or style. The owner and his son are very knowledgeable with great customer service. I have been there before but the second visit was even better than the first one. They are very accurate in their evaluation because of the machine they use, if you are looking to exchange or sell this will be my go to place. I left the store very happy with very cute pieces and fair prices compared to other jewelry stores. I will definitely be going back in the near future.

I am beyond obsessed with my custom made engagement ring! It truly exceeded my expectations! There is no match when it comes to the quality of jewelry and customer service of this establishment. I can be picky and they were able to help my fiancé create the PERFECT ring! I don’t live close but it is worth the car ride, I doubt you will find anything like it especially when it comes to the beautiful people inside to help!

Baladna which the English Arabic word for "Our Country" and meaningful and wonderful place to buy or sell jewelry. Customer service is very helpful and informative to its customers and quick to work as fast as possible regardless how busy it is. The staff gives excellent prices on all sorts of jewelry. Regardless whether you like to come in to buy or sell, Baladna takes care of you as one of their own kin. Compared to most jewelry stores, you feel much right at home. You get the proper clarification of the right prices and the right offer compared to most companies that give you the 'bull' rather the real deal. I will say I have came to this place more often in a year than any other places only because I get treated as a friend, as a customer, & or even as a proper individual. They buy & sell between 14k-18k-21k-22k. They do not buy precious stones.

I met the owners of this family owned business. I had been searching for a particular piece of jewelry in 18k gold. Mourice promised me it could be made and he nailed it. My family loved it and I do too. And it was a great deal compared to internet companies who I didn't know who to trust. Don't hesitate to go to their store. Nice family too.

Technology comes and goes but a good jeweler is forever. Since becoming a mom, my necklaces are constantly breaking because my baby doesn't know his own strength and loves to pull on them. Bad for me, great for Baladna Jewelry haha. I used to wait until a member of my family or me went to Europe to get my jewelry fixed because it was a lot more affordable but then I found out Baladna Jewelry does repairs at a completely reasonable price (such a reasonable price that I'm always here haha). In all honesty, I've heard horror stories about jewelry shops that take your jewelry for repair but then switch out the gold or the repair looks worse than when you brought it in to get fixed and it makes people think twice about going in to get it fixed. That's not the case with Baladna, this is a jewelry shop where I have the utmost respect, trust and know that I am getting my moneys worth. When I put in my necklace for repair, they give me a ticket and when it is ready for pickup, they either call me or send me a text. The repair is usually complete within a couple of days but sometimes if it takes longer, they let you know. The reason I trust them is because recently I had a gold coin that needed to be framed and Johnny (one of the owners) said no problem but that the frame itself is a custom order that he needed to send out to be created around the coin. He told us approximately how much it would cost and how long we would wait. I loved the transparency. Three weeks passed by and we thought something happened to Johnny but he called us and apologized and said that the person who makes the frame is currently down to no workers and that he is behind but that he'll let us know when it's ready. Five days later, we got a call that it's ready for pickup. The frame was beautiful- simple and elegant just like I had asked for. Johnny was sincerely sorry that it took so long and even gave us a small discount for the inconvenience. I could see that one of the other members of the family was not happy about it and Johnny saw it and he said, "it took a long time to complete and they were patient" and that right there showed me just how much integrity and trust with his customers means to Baladna Jewelry. This is a family run business and regardless if you're a new or old customer, they are ALL so happy whenever we walk in or any customer for that matter. You can feel the genuine kindness in their manners and behavior but the trust is key. I trust them with some of my price possessions and I know that they will be kept safely and with care until I return and you can't put a price on that. Check them out- I promise you won't regret it!! HIGHLY RECOMMMEND!!

I honestly only shop gold at Baladna on Kedzie because of the great service Madame H and Morice provide but also because of the unbeatable prices !I have been shipping there since I came to the US (About 5 years now) and not even once was I disappointed or deceived .Wonderful people and wonderful services. They are always very welcoming and kind and extremely patient with me (I am a very picky difficult person when it comes to gold) and they always satisfy my needs. I strongly recommend this location and prices wise, frankly,do all Chicago you won't find better!

After making calls to all Chicago Area Middle Eastern jewelers (yes ALL of them), I was set on this one. They have a full inventory of high quality pieces that will fit every budget. Upon entering I was greeted warmly and assisted immediately. They took their time helping me to find the perfect gift for my daughter without putting any pressure on making the purchase. Simply awesome family-owned business. The owners instantly treat customers like family and makes you feel welcomed immediately. You will find a variety of amazing jewelery to choose from. Furthermore, the merchandise is reasonably priced and you wont find a better deal elsewhere. If they dont have it, they will find it somewhere else for you - super accomodating! They go above and beyond to fix any jewelery (even if it wasnt bought from their store). On a few occasions, I have brought something back a few times I negligently broke and they didnt hesitate to fix it.

Baladna Jewelry in Chicago offers GREAT, personalized service. They have a wide selection of beautiful jewelry. This is my second time shopping here. Most recently, I walked in looking for a cross for my nephew. They helped me find the perfect cross with a right chain to complete the look. The staff made my shopping experience fun and easy! What can I say about Baladna jewelry that isn't evident as soon as you walk in the door. When I went to purchase my fiancée's engagement ring, the rings were varied and the customer service was perfect. I was asked if I wanted a cup of coffee or water, I was shown the variety of rings available at their store, and I was treated like I was the only customer present. The time they took in working with me to find the perfect ring for my fiancée was beyond appreciated. Not to mention the time taken to explain the finer details of the types of rings we looked at and the current trends. After selecting the ring - the band and the setting - I then began to discuss the type of stone I was looking for. Once again, I was not disappointed! The owner, Maurice, his wife, Hanan, and their son, Sami, did an amazing job finding the perfect stone to fit perfectly within the setting I had chosen. Their attention to detail with the band was tripled when we discussed the right stone to fit within the setting. Then, upon choosing the stone and its being fitted within the ring, I was presented with a beautiful final product, which can be seen in the photograph below. Not to mention, every time I went in, I was treated like family. After having searched for the right ring by looking online and at other jewelry stores, Baladna Jewelry provided me with the perfect ring at the perfect price.
