Google
Our first time here and we loved everything about the restaurant. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Food was amazing. Full of flavors. Seafood tower was worth the money. We had a wonderful experience. The best part is went we walked out to wait for out Lyft, our daughter was greeted by a generous man that own an Aston Martin. She was checking out the car and he came up and ask if she wanted to have a sit inside.

Google
We had such a great time at Balan’s Miami! The service was honestly exceptional. Javier is an amazing manager — super attentive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire night. And Gaby was an incredible server! She was so sweet, fast, and really took care of us. We ate, had some drinks, enjoyed hookah, and the whole vibe was perfect thanks to them. They truly made our experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this place, especially with such a great team! 💙✨

Google
Altab was the best server he made the experience so fun! I love Balans because the food is so flavorful. I’ve come several times for the breakfast which is phenomenal with all the smoothies, juices, pancakes, steak and eggs, then another I came for the happy hour and for the seafood tower and champagne. The prices are so good too. This time I came for dinner for a special pop up called Babu which featured a unique Indian upscale experience with some of the best food I’ve ever had. Everything so fresh. Aged lamb chops, fresh fish curry, pistachio ice cream desert, a spicy margarita in a bell pepper, caviar was NEXT level! They also offer unique things like hookah and lounges outside and I would say the entire experience is 10/10. It’s definitely my must stop place when visiting Miami!! Also, the music features live DJ with fun eclectic sounds!!

Google
Our server, Freddie, was fabulous! Very attentive and had a great personality and attitude. Made dining here a pleasure!

Google
One of the best breakfast spots I’ve ever been to. The food, vibe and service were next level! Our waitress Ileana was super attentive and made sure our Mimosa glasses never sat empty for more than 20 seconds 😁

Google
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and the service was top-notch. Our waitress, Allison, was truly exceptional—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. She had great recommendations and made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend both the restaurant and asking for Allison if you want a 10/10 dining experience!

Google
We came trying to get a quick happy hour drink and we ended up staying for hours! Food was great and service is excellent. Maria de Los Angeles took great care of us. She was very attentive and gave us great recs. The charcuterie board is a must!

Google
Happiness at Happy Hour! Katelyn and Ricardo make fantastic cocktails. We stopped in for apps and a cocktail and spent way more time. The Key Lime lover was a hit. Not many places I go to know how to make a balanced Vesper but these guys do a fine job. Great vibe indoors and great outdoor space for people watching or just hanging with friends. If you pop in make sure to say hi to Kate and Ricardo!

Yelp
always a great vacation spot! thank youb to our waiter David for the amazing experience!

Yelp
They've got a Winter Wonderland theme going right now and it's like a little corner of Arendelle. Monday brunch is super-relaxed, which is great overall but you can't be in a rush. Menu is a nice mix of classic, healthy, fresh, and modern. Worth adding this to your rotation.
google avatar

Yelp
Alejandro was amazing, 10/10 service. The happy hour is great as well, lots of food and drink options. They also have a doggy menu which is adorable! It's a very cute vibe too, would definitely recommend for happy hour. I will say the tuna crispy rice needs more seasoning, but the bang bang bao buns were delicious
google avatar

Audrey S.

Yelp
The service and the ambiance are excellent! It's super cute inside and they also have plenty of outdoor seating. Our server, Christine, was very on top of it and had a warm vibe to her. They had a good happy hour that started midway through our time there but I otherwise found the prices to be a little out of hand for what you get. While my watermelon spritz was delicious, that + a non-alcoholic cocktail set us back close to $40 with mandatory service charge. Portion was very small on my friend's side of fries, and when I requested light ice on my spritz, it came filled part way despite not really having light ice. I'll come back and try happy hour because the prices seemed much more worth it and the ambiance and service were good. Maybe that will change my rating. Wouldn't return outside of happy hour though.

Yelp
Good spot and nice vibes for happy hour! Such a cute place. Good prices for drinks. We had a sangria and proseco

Yelp
Balan's is a fantastic spot for brunch. I came in for Miami Spice, and every course was perfect. I started with the granola pot. It was a delicious crunchy sweet starter. For my entree I chose the steak and eggs. The steak was tender and the side of fries were a salty, crispy delight. I concluded my meal with the homemade peanut butter ice cream. It was so good! The service was fantastic. Our mimosa glasses were always filled and everyone was kind and welcoming.

Yelp
We were in the Brickell area visiting my wife's son and want to Balan's a couple of times, once for drinks and again for brunch. We were seated inside both times. When we went for drinks, they were doing hookahs outside and we did not want to deal with the smoke. Service was excellent--we were seated quickly and the bartender was great and very friendly. I had an old fashioned that was perfect, then my wife had this maritini with a shot of brut that she really loved and was very original. They have a great brunch menu--there were 10 items I could have had. Again service was excellent. I started with a chai latte where they did a nice leaf design. My wife loved her Americano. I had the eggs benedict with bacon. First, I love the fact that Balan's offered bacon as an option for eggs benedict--Canadian bacon or crab cake can be good, but nothing like regular bacon (which was very good bacon). The poached eggs and Hollandaise Sauce were great, then the potatoes had some nice spice to them. My wife had Avocado toast with poached eggs on top--she really loved her dish as well. Absolutely worth a visit.

Audrey A.

Yelp
My breakfast at Balan's was completely fine! I got a breakfast bowl with scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese. It was good, not spectacular, and the portion was small for the price (and for a vegetarian menu item). My strawberry matcha was fantastic. For $19 for the breakfast bowl and $11 for a small matcha, the value for money wasn't there. They did have ample gluten and dairy free options for my friend, which is a plus. The staff were pleasant and polite.

Yelp
I visit them almost every week. Absolutely delicious food and amazing atmosphere. Great vibes and excellent service - one of my favorite spots in Brickell.

Yelp
Balan's is a great spot for a low-key happy hour. The indoor decor is stylish but comfy, with a cool, laid-back vibe. Happy hour is a steal--$5 beers, cocktails from $8-$12, plus a few solid apps to snack on. It's a really good deal for the quality you get. The staff is friendly (esp the bartender, Ricardo). Definitely a place I'd come back to for another relaxed hangout
google avatar

Maydee M.

Yelp
Went to Balans for dinner with a friend and shared a few dishes: the Beef Carpaccio, Truffle Carbonara, and fried chicken topped with tomato and arugula. We finished with a glass of champagne and dessert, and everything was incredibly good. Flavorful, well-portioned, and left us both fully satisfied. The ambiance felt like a clubstaurant: lively, vibey, and full of energy, with people celebrating. Still, it was a great spot to catch up and enjoy the evening. Service was attentive and on point. Overall, a fun night out, would definitely come back.
google avatar

Charles D.

Yelp
As usual, great place to get a drink and have fun with friends. A spot in front of the street, being outdoors and covered by a nice tent is a great moment. Good service. Street parking.
google avatar

Maiah F.

Yelp
Came here for happy hour and definitely recommend. The bruschetta was so delicious and unique - I could've eaten 10 more plates of just that! The drinks are delicious as well and the happy hour deals are worth it. It's on the main road in Brickell, so a lot of fun to sit outside and listen to the music and people watch. There's couches and comfortable seating so a great place to spend some time hanging out with family or friends.

Yelp
This restaurant is in Brickell, Miami. It is in a very busy and sophisticated area. They have a highly trained staff that provides personalized attention and makes you feel at home. Their food is mouthwatering and upscale, and very nice drinks. You go for upscale food, you get upscale prices. The ambiance was relaxed with such a nice breeze all around us (we were seating outside). They also have hookah service.
google avatar

Mark T.

Yelp
Had a perfect dinner at Balan's tonight during happy hour. Had the Asian chicken salad (Grilled chicken, crunchy wontons, toasted cashew nuts, scallions, fresh mint, cabbage & romaine, with miso sesame dressing) and the grilled shrimp Caesar. Both were top notch. Started with some Bao buns (Balan's fried chicken, Korean gochujang glaze, cucumber, pickled onions & spicy mayo). Drinks were refreshing and reasonably priced and the people watching was excellent while seated outdoors. Who knew but there was even some hookah action in an area nearby. Our server Deja was attentive and friendly- a perfect evening.

Yelp
This place has beautiful decor inside! The food was fresh and delicious. I had the salmon entree and it was great! I came here with a large group from work, it may have been about 10-15 of us, and there was only 1 waitress attending to us. She was great and attentive, but not sure if they had anymore staff on-site that day, another waitress could have certainly been of help here to tend to our large group. Nonetheless, we had a great dining experience!

Yelp
Balans is a great happy hour deal! Their espresso martinis are fabulous. The happy hour food is for sure just small bites, and I can't say that any of the food has ever blown me away. But, they always draw me in with their daily happy hour! The interior is super cute but I've always eaten outside, although I feel like they need to be better about keeping the tables clean. The staff is FABULOUS. I will continue to visit Balans as one of the only weekend happy hours in Brickell!

Michael H.

Yelp
Walking through Mary.Brickell and waned something different. Very fair prices, nice happy hour drinks options and we loved the food. Wife had lobster lettuce wraps and Brussel Sprouts which she loved. Ordered the burger RARE and they got very close. Delicious food overall including sticky pudding g which wife ate all of. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Came to check out the happy hour menu and found a few good things to choose from. Server Stephany was helpful in explaining all the things and really selling the items on the menu. Great service Al around from Balans. West Coast Oysters: great taste, two options for sauces both of which were quite good Salmon Wonton Tacos were excellent, the tiny happy hour ones come with two and you'll want to order three plates--they're that good (but too small of a portion). Mildly spicy sauce and sitting on a pillow of really good guacamole. Can't fail. But oh my gosh the dessert.... The Toffee Pudding is what dream are made of. Rich, decadent and a good size...The toffee sauce has the right consistency with a gorgeous buttery caramel flavor, the pudding itself was perfection, I couldn't find any flaws with it and even the ice cream was of high quality (Uber creamy and custardy). I ate it as slowly as I could--I didn't want this moment to end. Thankfully the staff let me have this moment of bliss in peace. Decor is girly and cute, making it an ideal spot for brunch with girlfriends. Lots of fun wall art and floral motifs throughout. Everything was delicious but I'd come back for this dessert in a heartbeat. Oh and they offered a glass of bubbly on the house --thanks y'all!!

Yelp
We were walking by while strolling downtown and saw the soccer game was playing. We decided to stop in for a couple of beers to watch the rest of the match. We were attended to very quickly and two ice cold beers were served. Well we only stopped in for a quick beer. The service was fast, and they were attentive.
google avatar

Kendal S.

Yelp
Went here for breakfast and was not disappointed. It was a very solid breakfast, not the best ever, but far from the worst. It's in a great location right in the middle of Brickell. And the outdoor vibes are perfect for a group to start today for Miami scene.
google avatar

May M.

Yelp
Great neighborhood Restaurant in the heart of Brickell with nice outdoor seating and cozy inside bar and seating. Great Cocktail Bar and Happy Hour. Great food, Chef mixes it up and happy to accommodate special meals, like in my case provide vegan options. Great staff, service and definitely dog friendly!
google avatar

S. M.

Yelp
Service was atrocious. Food was mediocre at best but priced for a 5-star restaurant. I ordered an omelette with potatoes and asked for toast on the side. The toast cost me $7.50 but it was the best part of the meal. The potatoes were cold. We didn't get our water or coffee refilled once. The music and ambiance were nice, but I expected more considering the outrageous prices.
google avatar

Ritvi S.

Yelp
Good brunch spot when you're post hangover or want to hang out with friends. Food is mid but ambiance is great, the service is good and vibes are nice. We sat outdoors but the indoor place is also very cute.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that our server Jason was incredible. He was very attentive and kept checking in with us even with it being super busy. Always smiling and always positive. He was indeed the star of the show. My friend and I decided to step out for a night out and ended up at Balans. Balan sits in the heart of Brickell amongst many other bars and restaurants. Great location but every one wanted to show off their cars this night with the loud revving of their engines. We ordered the Pornstar Martini which was very light and sweet that they serve with a side of Prosecco and the espresso martini which was also prepared very well. The Prosecco added a nice touch to this stellar drink. For our appetizer we had the brussel sprouts and oysters. The oysters were great and fresh without being overly fishy, whereas the brussel sprouts looked great but lacked seasoning. That was very disappointing because we were looking forward to them. I ordered the Truffle Carbonara as my entree and this also lacked flavor and the portion was very small for a $32 bowl of pasta. Once I added salt and pepper, it was much better. We ended the night with a hookah which was nice and smooth and when the coals went out, they quickly replaced them. The ultimate kicker for me was the $279 bill they gave us. What we paid for didn't quite match the overall experience.
google avatar

Sweta K.

Yelp
Happy hour 3-7 Had the oysters which were good. Decor was pretty. Service was ok. 18% service charge auto included into the bill, which seems typical around the area. The main reason I had a bad experience here was the amount of mosquitos that kept flying around me. It made the whole experience uncomfortable. The manager came by to check on me afterwards and offered bug spray.... but it was already by the time I had cashed out.
google avatar

Roberto L.

Yelp
We went for a quick dinner before going out in Brickell and they had good hookah and great music! Alejandro provided great service and good knowledge when it came to breaking down the menu for us. The food is good for the price and comes out quick. Will definitely be going back.
google avatar

Chanae I.

Yelp
Definitely come here for the happy hour. It's really good. We drank wine and had the salad and burger which was delish! I loved that they even had a dog menu. I ordered something for my puppy and he enjoyed it!
google avatar

Steven N.

Yelp
Nice spot in the middle of brickell. Went here for happy hour, the food and drinks are just average, nothing special. Service was ok
google avatar

Laura C.

Yelp
This is a really nice restaurant. We were seated promptly and our servers brought over the menus and water. We ordered a drink- the spicy leecherita since we had a free drink- it was really good. We also had bottomless Bellinis and they were really good. We all ordered from the Miami Spice menu and all of the food was delicious. I had the chocolate croissant, the eggs Benedict with ham and a side of potatoes, and the Belgian waffle for dessert. The other entrees looked good too. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant.
google avatar

Cory R.

Yelp
This is my fave breakfast spot in Miami, and I always make sure I venture here at least once when I'm in town. It's nestled in the heart of Brickell next to Brickell City Center and is very accesible. The patio views are a must and the overall European fill is very desirable. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu but I highly recommend the Full Breakfast!
google avatar

Diana B.

Yelp
This place had been on my list for a while and my friend and I decided to give it a try for Miami spice. Overall the food was super tasty and worth the miami dinner price. The restaurant had a mix of varied music and the decor was cute for photos. However, the service was lacking, our server was nice but seemed to have forgotten us a few times. Additionally the wait time for the dessert was too long for our taste, since everything else had come out at a decent time. The worst part was the bathroom situation... it did not fit the restaurant. Honestly, it was not well kept and my friend even stained her pants with a mystery liquid from the floor. Apparently every hour someone cleans it, but I recommend the restaurant invest in a bathroom attendant at all times, because that bathroom brought down my view of the restaurant. If that situation is fixed it can easily go up in my rating.

Brookelyn P.

Yelp
This place was amazing!!! Altab was the best server and he was so funny! Def recommend here for happy hour drinks!
google avatar

Jameson J.

Yelp
Great service great happy hour menu. they have a lot of happy hour options. Also, you can get hookah here if you like. They have a full bar and by my observation, a large amount of tequila.. one thing I really have to say that the service at the bar was absolutely top-notch. The server was attentive and made great drinks. Will stop here again for a full meal later.
google avatar

Yelp
There's always that one place that you always walk by...for me it has been Balans on Brickell. I actually went back in 2007, 2008 when it first opened and I used to work in Brickell. But in the countless weekends I've been in the area since, I just hadn't until this past Friday. After walking to and getting myself GQd at a nearby barbershop, I glanced at the menu and gave it a try. I'm certainly glad I did! The menu seems to be a lot of your classic meat and potato dishes, nothing overly fancy. But you know what, after the aforementioned stroll from the other side of downtown it hit the spot. I enjoyed their roasted half chicken in rosemary jus. Served in natural seasoning and boosted up by a dab of ketchup I ordered, it was the right mix of flavor and healthy. My sweet potato fry side could have been a little crispier though. Their bread is a must try - warm little disks of freshly prepared dough My Friday indulgence came in the form of their Flor de Cana mojito. Although their cocktails menu doesn't specifically mention rum, my waiter did get it prepared. It was well blended, with enough of a buzz to start the weekend yet I'm up at 7 am and getting active Saturday morning. Besides the aforementioned mixology, service was all around pleasant from the hostess in quickly accommodating me. The decor has a some 80ish neon on the roof and the Friday night soundtrack was mostly reggaeton. I didn't get to check out the bathroom with the frosted doors mentioned in some reviews though :)
google avatar

Anton E.

Yelp
Diabolical. One of the deadest happy hour places around - maybe it changes at brunch or late night, but the food and drink here are terrible.
google avatar

Lina W.

Yelp
This place is more of a chill place for drinks I went on a Saturday with my girls and it was super empty was super cute inside but not what we were looking for but drinks were good ...
google avatar

E D.

Yelp
Came after dinner. Can't believe this place is still here! love love love it! Had some drinks at the bar which were great. The outdoor seating was PACKED and looked like a great time (as usual). For those unfamiliar with this location... Indoor is smaller than expected but very cozy and pretty. Our bartender was great! loved her.
google avatar

Kelvin E.

Yelp
Nothing in the food menu got my attention. So I played it safe and order calamari. I was very disappointed. The vibes is great with good music and hookah. Don't recommend the food though.

Matt V.

Yelp
Amazing food, great service and management is very attentive if there is any issues... highly recommend
google avatar

Christina T.

Yelp
The place was empty on a Saturday afternoon which was sorta of perfect. The service was quick and attentive and also really nice. The decor in the restaurant is modern and they have nice gallery walls throughout. Now, the food. We had their preset menu (may have been the Miami spice menu) and our appetizer was a mimosa! The entree was Mexican eggs. Now usually when things are served in a tortilla, the risk of the tortilla becoming soggy is high. That didn't happen here. It was perfectly crispy the whole time. The dessert, key lime pie. Just yes. Do it, get it, it was delicious.
google avatar

Paula R.

Yelp
My friend and I went for Ladie's Night on Thursdays--we absolutely love the concept! There were many girls from all ages and it was a great way to meet new ladies in the are :) The drinks (for LN the choice is Lychee Martini or Bubbly) were good. We both had lychee martinis--sweet with a nice Lychee flavor, they were not strong but was not lacking alcohol. It was not served with the traditional lychee, but that is a small detail. Food: The highlight were the truffle fries, nice and crispy with great flavor. We also had the steak with chimichurri (flavorful but a little dry) and the mushroom sandwiches (one of the few vegetarian options), the bread to mushroom ratio was off unfortunately. Overall, would recommend for a ladies night, makes for good drinks and some good fries or calamari! For light bites and drinks it is a good spot.
google avatar

Brandon B.

Yelp
Balan's is one of my favorite spots to go to in Brickell. The lamb meatballs were great, the staff always gives the best recommendations and the music was amazing. Also, best Espresso Martini in Miami hands down!
google avatar

Elena K.

Yelp
Balan's is in the perfect location for people watching in the Mary Brickell area and their happy hour is fantastic, their bites are so tasty! Come for a classy night out when you want to indulge a bit. Very friendly service - definitely will be back!

Yelp
Ryan was amazing, super nice and great service. I ordered steak and it was cooked to perfection. It's very chill and sexy vibes, definitely recommend.

Yelp
This is a very cute lunch spot in brickell. Very floral/boutique looking inside--though the outdoor diners are definitely the majority at lunch. Had the carbonara this time, which was delicious--the yolk just fell apart after being put in front of me (in a good way!). Creme brûlée was enough for 3 people and was great. Others at my table did the Miami spice menu and enjoyed the oysters and pesto dish. I've also had the poke bowl and clam chowder here--also both great. Prices are a little steep for lunch, but it's brickell. Service is fine, though I always have issues here flagging down the wait staff for the check at the end of the meal. Overall would return.

Maleka H.

Yelp
Great place for a chill evening in the middle of Brickell. Take friends, have drinks, oysters and some hookah. I did not eat food here but the vibe for drinking with friends was great.

Todd G.

Yelp
So I live 2 blocks from this place and I usually love it. It has been famous for great service and a good meal and good price. Today was a major turn off. One of the servers told me when serving the bill that already had 18% added that "the front of the house has to split their tips with the back of the house, so..." So I should add an extra 7%? This would make the tip 25% for (this time) given very average service on a shake down or guilt trip? Come on. The ironic thing is, despite not planning to eat out at all, I walked across the street to eat there because I saw my favorite waitress standing outside. She was not able to wait on me, but the experience I got from this other one has me uncertain if I will ever go back. There are other places in the neighborhood to get an egg white omelette and not get shaken down for an extra tip at the end.
