Balboa Pizza

I have been to Balboa many times and I haven't had an issue like this before and I understand it's an accident, but today there was a long brown HAIR in my food, I understand that isn't a deal breaker for some but for me it is. I immediately addressed it with the waitress, where I walked the piece with hair in the pizza, she took the plate with the hair and asked if I still wanted continue with my other items that I just ordered. I canceled the other items, so that wasn't an issue. When I got back to the table, I noticed my friend ate one piece and was starting to eat another, I told her about the hair and she did end up eating 3 pieces total (1 piece before I noticed it, then 2 more pieces after) of the 8 pieces. My biggest issue is, how the manager, a blonde haired lady, came over and said she ate all the pizza, I said "no, she didn't and I am not paying for a pizza with hair in it." I was more than happy to pay for the drinks we ordered and I did drink, total 2 Teremana's and soda. The manager also told my friend she couldn't sleep at the bar, which she wasn't, so I don't know where that came from but either way, in me trying to get the pizza off the bill, she addressed me by name and I don't think I have ever met her, was rude about it and seemed shocked that it should be removed from the bill. She ended up saying it's time for us to go, which is fine grabbed out drinks and the bill then walked away. I would have liked to pay for the drinks and tip the waitress, thankfully I had cash, so I could tip. I just found this entire situation very strange. Again, I know my friend ate 2 more pieces of the hair pizza but I think that the pizza should have been comp'ed, regardless of her eating it 2 more pieces. Unfortunately, the blonde manager, made it more of an issue than I think it should have been, was rude and seemed to be trying to create a bigger issue. She didn't need to grab the glasses from us or not allow me to pay for the drinks. Next time I go there, I will make sure she is the floor manager. She definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. I also recommend that the cooks wear hats/hair nets to prevent this from happening again, the 2 ladies did just have their hair pulled back into ponytails. Do better. I went to North.

First time visiting the restaurant. Got a beverage and had their pizza. The pizza has a very thin crust. Very crunchy. The ingredients were fresh. We ordered the pizza with goat cheese. It was delicious. We each had a beverage. The booths were small and it was very crowded. The bar was full. The hockey game was on and everyone was watching it. The food came out very quickly but the waitress never came back and checked our table. We were waiting for a refill on our beverages. We had a track her down twice. I think it was because they were so busy. It's located in a beautiful little Street with upscale stores. I would go back again and try other options.

My wife and I went here for an early lunch. The place was empty, but our server was excellent and very attentive. However, overall the food was okay. I had a turkey sandwich on sourdough. It tasted fine but the bread was really thick and the sandwich definitely needed some sauce. My wife ordered a pizza, but she did not really like it that much, so she did not finish it. I would say that out of all the food we ordered, the onion rings were the best. One order of onion rings consisted of two very large rings which were crispy and had great flavor. I also ordered garlic ranch to dip them in and it was pretty good. The bathrooms were clean and the place is open twenty- four hours.

Recently had dinner here. Very happy I did. Open 24 hours. Video poker bar too. Full bar. Located in The District complex adjacent to the Green Valley Ranch Casino. Lots of free parking. Great full menu. GREAT PIZZA! The kitchen staff here really knows what they are doing! Lots of pizza options. I had the roasted garlic and artichoke heart pizza with chicken. Their crust is thin and the pizza has a generous portion of toppings, cheese, and sauce. The edges are crunchy. The overall taste of the pizza was delicious. Again, thumbs up to the grateful kitchen staff! Large enough portion for sharing. Really friendly, great service with a short wait time for my pizza to arrive. I sat on the back patio because I had my service dog with me. The staff were very accommodating. The back patio is shaded with cool looking umbrellas that look like dried palm fronds you'd see at a beach. It gets a bit dark as the sun goes down on the patio. Maybe a couple of outdoor LED table top fake candles or soft light patio table lights would make a difference there. It looks like they also have a robust to-go business too by the looks of things. I felt I got my money's worth. Nice atmosphere, great service, and a great tasting pizza for dinner! Overall, I really enjoyed my dinner and plan on being a regular.

Love Balboa, but the creepy guy with the long blonde hair makes the weirdest comments when he drops off food. Just stop! My wife is officially creeped out.

Balbs is the best! One of our fav local spots in Henderson. Laney, Grace, all the foh & boh staff are wonderful! It got busy out of no where on our last visit, and the teamwork of the staff was awesome. Drinks are great, food is wonderful. The chicken chopped salad is so delicious. Definitely has a family vibe, which is why it's one of our go-tos. Love Balbs!

The Buffalo Chicken Pizza is delicious. The Taco Pizza was lacking in flavor. But overall service was awesome, the bartenders are great. Awesome vibe.

Excellent quick efficient service. Bartender was right on top of my club soda. My Lemon Chicken Green Salad came out very quickly & was fresh & delicious. Salads are fantastic. Large variety of food!

A casual chill vibe kind of restaurant open 24/7. Bar seating and table seating, TV's all around, cool decor and background music. The food is pretty good too! It's a full house tonight. Our server Blake is doing a great job with keeping up with all his tables and checking up on us as well. On the menu: Chip Trio Thai Peanut Chicken Wings Meat Lover's Pizza no Canadian bacon add mushrooms Maui Onion Rings The Chips Trio made fresh is a must served with three dipping sauces Jalapeño Cheese Dip, Garlic Ranch and Onion Dip. The pizza was made perfectly. The Thai Peanut Chicken Wings had a nice flavor with a little kick of spice. The Maui Onion Rings were golden, just the right size not to thin not to thick and had a satisfying crunch served with BBQ sauce. Every thing was good it was all gone no doggie bag needed.

Im going to start by saying that the food is really good I had the wings and the 3 cheese pizza with pepperoni and everything was delicious. The place looks neat and the cocktails were good. The reasons for my 3 star review are that the juke box was not working so we pay for the music but it was not playing through the speaker. The service was okay the bartender did not comp a beer I ordered even though I was gambling at max-bet.

This is one of my go to open 24 hour restos. This convenience is great but the pizzas are even better. This casual dining area has a full bar with high top tables in the area, and booths and tables throughout the rest of the restaurant. Brick walls and beach decor makes for a super casual dining vibe. All the servers I've come across have been pretty friendly and efficient. The kitchen is always quick with getting our pizzas and/or sandwiches to the table quickly. Pizzas: everyone i've ordered has been on point. The dough and sauces have especially have been consistently good to keep the pizzas yum. Chip Trio: This is so basic but I always order it. Potato chips + 3 dips: Ranch, Cheese and French Onion. My favorite dips with any kind of chip. My buddy orders the sandwiches and they are all generously sized. He's never able to finish. lol We'll keep coming visiting as the pizzas here are now our comfort food. And like I mentioned at the beginning, we can visit any time because they're open 24/7. Cheers!

Total idiots! They run a pizza special bogo and I walk in to order and they tell me no carry out for specials!!! What Stone Age dark ages are they in ? They can keep their overpriced pizzas I will never return! Awful management and service!

The atmosphere was really chill! It's also open 24/7 so it's a great place to come by at anytime! Our waitress was also really fast and efficient, we ordered chicken wings and got them within 10 minutes of ordering! I ordered chicken wings and they were realllyyyy good the Jamaican Jerk wings were my favorite, however allll their wings flavors are so yummy i've tasted all of them ! If you want a cool vibe and small place to come eat to great food this is it!

Stopped in for dinner last night before a movie. Glad it was early we hit Happy Hour. We ordered a house cabernet and a beer. Our server knew the wine was from California but not sure of the name. It was good. We shared a Caesar salad, plenty for two and two pizzas. Very tasty. Thin crust so you can really taste all the toppings and not stuff yourself after one piece. Even had some left over for lunch today. The service was great, atmosphere was nice and the food delicious. It's a family favorite for pizza so we will be back soon.

Balboa Pizza has a nice beach vibe with a cool bar, big screens, nice tables, friendly service. It's laid back casual. Had dinner with a friend and shared the Canadian Bacon and Pineapple Pizza plus Buffalo Chicken Salad (regular size). It was plenty for the two of us and took couple of slices of pizza home. The salad could have more dark greens instead of iceberg. Just my preference. It will still good. Also loved the sparkling rose wine. Perfect on a hot summer night.

It's pizza time! I came in around the afternoon, and it wasn't too busy. This restaurant/bar is located at the district in green valley ranch so there was ample parking. The interior was spacious with lots of seating and tables available. [Service] Upon entering, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the server. I told him I wanted to place an order to go, and he gave me and menu to look at. He was friendly and patient with me while I looked through it. I placed my order, and he said it was about a 15 minute wait but my order came out quicker than that. Good service! [Food] I decided to get the works pizza and spicy Buffalo wings. The works pizza came with tomatoes, pepperoni, ham, and black olives. The food was pretty average to me and that's okay. It was still good! The only criticism I have is that the wings were a little dry and the spicy wasn't spicy at all. Overall, I'd give this spot a solid 3.5/5. The best part about this joint is that it's open 24hr!

Was expecting more from this restaurant. Pizza was good philly cheese stake pizza... but wings not as good. Missing sauce and flavor could be better. The bbq ribs were good too and frech fries. Good service, nice waitress

Awful service. The bartender took our initial drink and food order and after she brought our food she never came back to see if we needed anything. We sat at the bar eating for nearly an order, another bartender came on shift and he never came to see if we wanted anything either. Even when we paid our bill I had to asked for a box for 1/2 a pizza. There were only 3 other people at the bar and nobody sitting at any of the tables/ booths. They were not busy, so no excuse for the awful service!!!

Cozy little restaurant with gaming at the bar. The menu done like a newspaper is a great touch. Staff were upbeat and ensured rapid service.

Always enjoy dining at Balboa. We are always taken care of. Wonderful servers every time we go. Garlic and artichoke pizza is life. Carrot cake is my go-to.

Service was absolutely wonderful and we just sat down to have appetizers/salads as a quick after brunch, lunch! This was my first time here and it was an amazing environment and super cool food for a decent price! I had never even heard of this place before. Their churros are more like empanadas or beignets but they were still yummy!

A huge thanks to the bartender. I was hungry and thirsty after work. He advised me on what to order. He also had an intuition that I was not safe. I asked him if someone could walk me to my car. Without hesitation he said "I overheard, absolutely" he walked me to my car like a gentleman. Don't know your name! But THANK YOU!!!! And thank you for the recommendation for the perfect meal!

Service was excellent!! Pizza was decent. Drinks were reasonably price. We didn't have any of the sandwiches, but we saw some go by and they looked good. If you want an enjoyable place for pizza or sandwhiches. I would recommend giving this place a try.

The place is clean and neat. unique theme surf and beach. Pizza in photos looked a bit bare so I asked for extra pepperoni but it looked like a small amount. Flatbread pizza it was alright. Reminds me or red Robin pizza. OK price for okay pizza

This is a hidden gem! My husband and I went back twice in one week. Service is great! The girl servers/hostess are really sweet. The menu is fabulous! The prices are even better. Our food was delicious. We had pizza, wings, Greek Salad, and some chips. No complaints. Will return soon. We need one in Southern Highlands!

The BEST breakfast in all of Vegas. Reminds me of the diner breakfasts back East. We always call ahead for pick-up. Tasty AND beautiful presentation. Huge portion of eggs with melted cheese and freshly sliced avocado, delicious extra crispy bacon, perfectly browned hash browns (not shown), whole wheat toast slathered in butter and jam (have to request jam), topped with a bright and juicy chilled orange wedge. The presentation is just so "sunny" looking -- a great way to start the day. And it truly tastes as good as it looks. Our favorite breakfast in all of Vegas. Our to-go service has always been great, too, thanks to a wonderful Manager. Always busy but never misses a beat :-)

A place to hang out when everything else is closed. Place to drink beer & eat an ok pizza, a quiet place in my opinion. Good for talking.

Pizzas are delicious, cocktails are tasty, but there is definitely an issue with their tap water/tea/lemonade. We tried adding lemon but it did not help. Ambience would be better if they turned the volume down a bit. We aren't old but couldn't hear each other without effort due to the volume on this Friday night (6-8pm). I've definitely been more comfortable visiting during the quieter lunch hours. Fluffy friends take note - the booths are more generous than most but snug for Pooh-shaped folks. Staff is always friendly and eager to help, and prices are reasonable.

Checked the web for specials and was craving some wings. Saw the online advertisement that said a dozen wings for $10 bucks. Got to the restaurant and they switched the numbers around 10 wings for 12 bucks. Asked the waitress and she explained that prices are up everywhere and basically that's the way it is. I told her that their website said things differently (didn't seem to care). Decided to stay since I was in a hurry and couldn't change plans. I then ordered ranch and blue cheese ( I get it, restaurants needs money) but when I showed the waitress the bill she said she didn't even know why I was charged the extra 50 cents for more ranch and didn't bother to fix it ( see receipt) All in all the few dollars and quarters don't matter; however, it's the disregarding of the customer's concern that I'm irritated. They didn't even once try to work with any of my concerns. Fix your false advertising on your website.

Used to be excellent. Sadly now it's lucky if it's average. Just a big we don't care attitude. Stood at the hostess stand for 5 minutes. No hostess, bartenders didn't acknowledge. Personally I wanted to go but others in party wanted to stay. Once seated servers standing around instead of helping customers. Food has also got from excellent to average if you're lucky. So many great choices this part of town they really should step it up.

I absolutely love going to Balboa! Not only is the food ALWAYS great, the service, prices, and atmosphere are also excellent!! And if you're lucky enough to go when Eric is behind the bar, he's the best!!

Ordered a pepperoni pizza pretty late. Only place that was opened 24/7. Unfortunately, the pizza was just bland and did not have any flavor. The tomato sauce was mediocre and the entire pizza had like 4 pieces of pepperoni. The crush was alright though. Total let down. I was starving and really looking forward to this pizza.

Had a large party meet up here last night! The server was so sweet and accommodated us...the food was awesome and service was great! Thank you so much for everything! We will be coming back :)

I had a great time here. The food is great, the service is amazing! (Shout out to Laney), and it's a fun crowd. My favorites were the onion dip and coconut shrimp. I enjoyed the "churros" but they were more donuts than a churro... I'd say that's the only thing that bothered me lol.

Pesto pinenut chicken pizza. If you ever have pizza again this is it. Salty, cheesy, chicken and pesto with pine nuts. Service is great. Regan, Gabe great servers. Awesome happy hour for alcohol Tuesdays is buy one get one free pizza. 13 95 for 2 pizzas. They come in a rectangle so you get 6 nice slices. Each one has a nice amount of ingredients. Chicken wings are delicious. We looked around to see what others had ordered. Noticed a yummy meat pizza. Next time will try the Caprese pizza. Overall a great nice environment.

Ordered wings to go... got all flats (and small). Back to Buffalo Wild Wings from now on.

A little bit of shopping a little bit of splash pad fun in this hot 105 weather and lastly some grubbing . There's a narrow hallway when you enter with pictures of the olden beach days ...booths and table assortment and a Bar area with lots of screens .The place has a beach bungalow feel .There is enough room for safe social distance seating and menu is online only (so maybe check it out before you get there if you want to save time ) WIFI provided . The server was this young guy named Joel very quick and attentive when we were placing the order he repeated and made sure he wrote down our order correctly. Our order Large spinach artichoke heart Pizza medium thin no spot left uncheesed (yes I know it's not an actual word ;) just the right amount of creamy sauce . The lemon pepper wings were sooo finger licking good even dipped in ranch I can still taste the tang of lemon . The buffalo were pretty good too .

If I had to pick the spot where I dined right after quarantine lifted, this is definitely the place. I've been coming here for years, ever since I was super young. I could be wrong, but I think they might be a restaurant that was originally here when The District opened. I love the atmosphere here. It feels almost like you're dining at the beach. Normally, they give you paper menus that feel like a newspaper. Right now, they have all the menus on their website so you can look there to see what you want to order. I liked that they did this, too. But I have literally been getting the same thing since I first started coming here. I usually order the house margarita on the rocks, which is always delicious. We also always start off with the maui waui fries. These fries are INCREDIBLE! So seriously, don't sleep on them. The sauce that it comes with is so delicious. It almost reminds me of campfire sauce from Red Robbin or Cane's sauce. It's so good! The fries also come with onion and jalapenos, too, but my husband and I just always eat the fries only. I also order the tostada pizza and he usually gets the buffalo pizza. The tostada pizza literally reminds me of a mexican pizza. It's seriously so good and I always end up taking extras home. I will warn that both times we have gone, it's been packed so definitely make a reservation beforehand. They still follow all the rules with spacing the tables, staff wearing masks, etc. But it definitely does fill up quick! We came on a Saturday and had to wait since we didn't make the reservation ahead of time. Can't wait to come back here (probably this week, let's be honest LOL)!

We have been coming here for years for the ribs. This past Tuesday, 05/02 we ordered the ribs and was extremely disappointed. They were the skinniest and most pathetic ribs, dry and very little fries. We are not coming back and will go elsewhere. Thanks to the bartenders, they are the best.

Just back today for another great lunch and drinks with Olga subbing for Eric. The best Blackened Chicken Cobb I have ever had. A really great Martini for my wife. We sat at the bar, played a little poker and won..... We love coming here. Give it a try next time your visiting The District. You won't be disappointed.

The service at this restaurant has been less than great the few times we've visited this place. Usually not a big deal, the food is good and it's convenient in the District. However we stopped last night (Friday night 6pm) not super busy, they sat us a table in back corner, the hostess was very nice, asked if we needed a booster or high chair for our 2 year old. He said our server would be out shortly to take our drink order. 5, 10, 15, 20 minutes later no server, no drink order. During that time we watched 2 other tables get seated and they got drink orders almost immediately. We got up and left, no employee even acknowledged us walking out of the restaurant. Terrible service and won't be returning back.

So my husband went to the Balboa's tonight (2265 Village Walk Dr Suite 101, Henderson, NV 89052) and the bartender there who works graveyard didn't even acknowledge him. He was the only patron there and that bartender didn't even ask if he wanted a drink or if he needed a menu. He was there for 30minutes playing and not one word out of the bartender's mouth. He doesn't go there often to play but we always order food there and take it to go. He has seen us there many times and every time, he never acknowledges us. Not sure what he has against us, but when someone walks into your establishment and you're the only one working the bar, he should be more welcoming. If he doesn't like his job, then he needs to quit. We love Balboa's and the food there and all the other bartenders and staff, but HE is the only one who always gives us a problem and never acknowledges or asks if we need anything. My husband and I have never been rude to any bartender. We are always respectful and never cause any issues, but this bartender definitely needs an attitude check. If I were the owner of Balboa's, I would really consider keeping an employee like him.

So there's 2 entrances and I didn't know that. This place is requiring reservations and I had to call a couple times to get through but it was okay in the end. They were able to take my reservation immediately. The service was great and the food was delicious. I love their pizza it's an original recipe and thin crust. The wings were also delicious and crispy. I strongly recommend the Jamaican jerk sauce! It was really good here. Will be back cause I saw tuesdays they do buy one get one pizzas

The pizzas.... OMG they are GREAT!! I love all of them! The only reason why I didn't give a 5 star review is because of two reasons: - the place is not so nice. It's old and not well taken care of - the service is not so great

They have great happy hour. I think it's at 5pm to 7pm? Never had a bad experience. I especially like the artichoke garlic pizza

I'll keep it simple. Eric at Balboa Pizza Company is the best bartender I've ever had. The food is good, the prices aren't bad, and the menu has tons of options, but it's the friendliness of Eric that keeps me coming back over and over again. Eric is a genuinely nice guy and fantastic behind the bar. You can give him a general idea of what you're craving and he'll mix you up something that satisfies the palate. The many times I've visited I've tried many things on the menu. My favorites have been the pizza (of course), the wings, and the Maui Waui Fries (if your food comes with a side of chips, upgrade to the fries). You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. And don't forget to save room for the carrot cake!

I've been here plenty of times for lunch, dinner and drinks. We called tonight to see if they would be showing the Dodgers vs Giants game tomorrow night... and we asked if they would be playing the sound to it. We have a big group of 40 looking to eat dinner, drinks and watch the game. They said it depended on the bartender. Lol. They recommended that we come in and ask the bartender. If you owned this place... wouldn't you want the business?? Perhaps it's busier than I remember? I've never been here and have seen it packed. Just bizarre customer service. Lol. Thanks... we'll look elsewhere.

My daughter had eaten at this pizza place once with my son and convinced me to try it because we were in the area. She remembered it being fabulous. Looking at the menu, it looked promising with all the mouth watering pizza combos. We ordered three different pizzas, the Hawaiian, the Caprese, and a pepperoni. The service was very slow, considering we were one of about 6 tables occupied in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. Our waitress was nowhere to be found when we needed refills or other items. The food: my pepperoni was burnt. The other two pizzas were fine, but nothing original or exciting. The topping on all three pizzas were sparse and felt like an afterthought. My daughter mumbled to me, I remembered it being so much better than this. Maybe we hit it on a bad day, but with the not so great service and burnt pizza, I don't see myself giving it another try. Parking is free and easy, right outside in a large lot.

The employees were amazing! The only highlight of our meal. The food was bleh. The chips tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The two dishes we had were meh. Not impressed at all with the food. The ambiance was fun though! Love the old pictures of surfers on the walls & the 80's music made us smile.

Absolutely one of the worse places i have ever eaten. Wings were slimy n tasteless. Bowl of chips were very small n the garlic dip was too watery n dripped everywhere so you had to becareful you didn't drip on the table or yourself. Waitress was rude and slow. Wife had shrimp tacos and said they were dry n burnt. Only thing good were the mojitos.
