A memorable stay in Cordoba!|From the moment we opened the hotel gate, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is convenient for everything. The rooftop terrace had fantastic views.||The room was well designed and clean, with sweet treats. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and and welcome. Special thanks to Alex who helped answer all our questions about restaurant and sightseeing. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh and delicious.||We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely stay here again.

What a beautiful hotel near the Mezquita. The building was a portion of a former convent. The staff were most helpful and accommodating. The room was great and the rooftop view is incredible. The breakfast was good as well. The hotel staff was also helpful with recommendations for places to eat and things to do. This is exactly the sort of service one hopes for when travelling to a new city.

What a true treat in a beautiful hotel! The patio, rooms, and rooftop are like stepping into authentic Córdoba, with every detail exuding charm and history. Everything was top-notch, from the warm and attentive service at the desk to the delicious and carefully prepared breakfast each morning. The serene courtyard was the perfect place to unwind, and the rooftop offered breathtaking views of the city, adding to the magical atmosphere. Step inside, and you’ll find yourself immersed in a haven of comfort and elegance. Truly an unforgettable experience!

Nice hotel. Helpful staff. Really just around the corner from the Mezquita. Rooftop view was lovely. Breakfast was good. Our room was nice though since it is an old building the window was small and really to the interior corridor but that didn't really bother us. Our room did get pretty cold the first night but staff was very accommodating with bringing more blankets. They also made us a nice to go breakfast when we had to leave early to catch the train.

An amazing boutique hotel. It is beautifully converted from an old monastery. Our ground floor room (Layla) was very comfortable. I'd been worried about the potential for noise on the ground floor from the patio, but we were not disturbed at all. The location is perfect, on a quiet street just around the corner from the Mezquita. The small rooftop terrace has tremendous views, and we enjoyed an evening drink there before dinner in the old town. We absolutely loved Cordoba, and the hotel was ideally located for everything. Breakfast was good, though not the widest selection we had on our 11 day tour of Andalucia. The staff on reception were extremely welcoming and helpful. My only negative comment would be that the mini bar was a little noisier than I would like when it turned on and off in the night. I would definitely stay here if I visit Cordoba again, and I thoroughly recommend it.

Beautiful hotel and oasis in old Cordoba. The entry is spectacular, gorgeous courtyard and fabulous front desk staff. The suite we stayed in overlooked the courtyard with the century old orange tree as a centrepoint. Location right next to the Mezquita is unbeatable. Alcazar and Roman Bridge a stone throw away. Rooftop terrace with spectacular views of Cordoba. Sunset there has to be witnessed to be believed. Rooms are well appointed, spacious and clean. We had welcome cava and fruit platter. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

I am, perhaps, one of the most hypercritical reviewers you will come across. The Balcón de Córdoba will be the hotel & staff & food & location that few other hotels will challenge. I spent 4 weeks with my son traveling from the North of Spain to Andalusia. We stayed at many excellent hotels, but none compares with my favorite— the Balcón de Córdoba. I look forward to returning. ||I cannot say enough about the staff and how gracious there were. I also feel that the chef of the Balcón de Córdoba is wonderfully creative. Yes, he should have a cookbook and for sure a cooking class with him would be great fun. I would have loved to done an olive oil tasting during my trip. Next time. I thank all at this grand Hotel for creating indelible memories for my son and I. Muchas gracias a todos. Que preciosa y un gran finale a nuestro viaje. Bravo.

What a beautiful oasis away from the madding crowd! So calm and restful as soon as you enter the courtyard through the beautiful wrought iron gateway. Literally a few yards away from the hustle and bustle of old town Cordoba. The service we received from the staff was brilliant, every person was smiley, helpful and professional. The bed was so comfortable, with high quality linens. The view from the rooftop terrace of the Mezquita and bell tower was fabulous, day or night. Thank you Michael Portillo for filming at this hotel for one of your journeys around Europe-that's the reason we booked our visit to Balcon de Cordoba!
