"After a burst pipe on the third floor caused major flooding in early January, I learned that pub Balconville—whose team had posted social-media updates saying they were working to reopen—will not be reopening; the team confirmed to Eater that “the Balconville adventure is unfortunately over.” Its closure reduces Verdun’s bar count from four to three.
