9 Best Breweries in Northeast Minneapolis | Eater Twin Cities

"A destination brewery, Dangerous Man beers are only available in the taproom and at the next door takeout Growler Shop. With a rotation of experimental brews, Chocolate Milk Stout and Peanut Butter Porter have become their flagships but owner Rob Miller (and his should-be-patented beard) have an ever-changing creative line-up." - Eater Staff

Google
Really like this place! Cool vibe and great music, maybe a bit more kid friendly than I am used to though. Overall a great visit and one I'll aim to visit again when near.

Google
This place has been getting better and better each time we visit. In these past few years, they’ve really improved their beer and have a nice selection to choose from! Highly recommend visiting!! I have one suggestion, but it seems like they are working on it (?) but the patio in the back could use a bit more green. They have beautiful pots with flowers, but I think there could be more just to make it even cozier (mostly since it’s in the back of the building on the cement). The fence, lights, shade, and the flower pots though do make it much cozier than what it was many years ago!

Excellent beer. Good selection. Great brewery vibe. A must stop while in the twin cities. Love the rock n roll them. Helpful staff.

Google
Nice spot! The staff were friendly and the beer I had was pretty good. It seems like they have a lot of different events (e.g. trivia, bingo) so it's definitely a great place if you're looking for a fun activity to go along with your brews. The parking is convenient and they have rotating food trucks outside as well. Definitely a good place to check out if you're in the area!

Google
Bingo was less fun with the obnoxious group next to us. They didn't care everyone was trying to play and were loud. Sad part is that the guy running Bingo was part of the problem because it was part of his group. Do better by controlling the issue or don't bother with Bingo.

Google
Been visiting for years! Bald Man always has something on tap that you're sure to love. Always have something new to try as well. Large patio, large seating area, private booking area. I've seen jugglers, bands, comedians, many food trucks, Vikings games, and other events here. Lots to offer! Come check them out, you'll be back again, guaranteed.

Google
Eagan's very first taproom brewery, the owner who started it really is bald! haha. This well designed taproom is close to Highway 77, just on Highway 13. Easy location. I love the outdoor patio, as well as the private rooms for local meetings. There's pull tabs, live music occasionally, and discounted beers on Mondays. I am happy that they are slowly expanding their beer offerings from when they opened a couple of years ago. Easy parking, usually a food truck lurking around. Good beer.

Google
This is a Vikings bar and I know this because I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the game was on. Exciting to see the fans cheering and then their eventual disappointment at the end. There was an announcement that when the Vikings are ahead, beers are $1 cheaper. That didn't last long. Oops. I enjoyed a couple of beers and their wifi, writing up a couple of Yelp reviews and working out where I would be parking for the evening. Bald Man doesn't have a kitchen, but they do have food trucks and I was lucky to enjoy a great one this afternoon. Good beer and I thought it was a fun time.

Yelp
A good selection of beers that will appeal to many different beer drinkers tastes. The service was great as well and the space is large with a rentable back room (they were hosting a private party in it while we were there.) It is in a business park and bit super easy to find if you aren't looking for it, but also boasts plenty of after hours parking as a result.

Yelp
Visited on a sunny Saturday afternoon and enjoyed some refreshing beers outside with friends. They had quite a few picnic type tables to sit at along with seating along the fence on stools outside. Great service and really good IPAs. Only complaint I have is there was no shade or umbrellas at the tables.

Yelp
Stop #25 on our Hundreds of Hops self-guided US Hop Passport Tour We'd been in before in a rush. This time, we took the time to soak it all in. The patrons here were a bit more playful, not in a childish way - more like how one might interact with an adult sibling. I think that reading through the drink menu names gives you a good idea of the environment The Dunkel was OK (3). As a Dunkel lover, I may have high expectations. Everything else was pretty solid 4

Yelp
This is one of our favorite local hangs, solid beer, great variety (aside from standard IPA, brown, cream, blonde, etc they now have sour and NA beer made in house as well), and always have an excellent variety of food trucks and entertainment every week. They have live music weekly, Vingo, Bar Bingo, pull tabs, and in the summer, their patio is pet friendly. If they don't have a food truck at the time, they have Heggies pizza available all of the time as well as other small snacks as they do not make regular food in house. The space is always clean, and the beer-tenders are all very nice and knowledgeable about their stuff. Great family run business.

Yelp
In the area for lunch I figured a fine time to stop in for an overdue Bald Man beer. I was greeted and continued to chat up the delightfully friendly beertender Alyssa. Bald Man opened at noon and I arrived a little after 12:30 so there was only a handful of other patrons so it was relatively quiet. As Alyssa & I discussed beers and that I've been enjoying Double Dry Hopped beers recently she offered me a sample of the Juice Box Hero. It was good but a little more bitter than I like so since it was such a hot day I asked for a taste of the Summer Breeze key lime kolsch. That HIT the spot and I opted for a tulip. Thanks Alyssa for the jovial conversation and Bald Man for the refreshing kolsch!

Yelp
This is my second time in Eagan, so I have visited Bald Man both times here. This place has an amazing selection of beer. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and made you feel right at home. It is a pretty good size place, so plenty room to bring a few friends and hang out. I recommend checking out this place!!

Yelp
Love the beer, not a fan of the location. I wish it was closer to restaurants and not a business park. They do have an exceptional patio and plenty of seating. They have food trucks as well, beer and food trucks is a killer combo!! Plenty of parking but it can get tight during peak times. Bald Man is well know in the Twin Cities and will be around for many more years.

Yelp
I had not been to Bald Man Brewing since we were looking for houses in Minnesota for the first time. Note, that was a long(ish) time ago. I have been missing out. The space is just as I remembered it, but the beer made me happy inside. They are offering up libations from a Barleywine to a Lager. I only got a Pint, but will for sure be back to try some of the other beers that are on tap. Juice Box Hero: A Hazy Pale Ale hopped with the trio of Cashmere, Idaho 7, and El Dorado hops. I really wish there were more Hazy Pale Ales out in the wild. You get the tropical fruit aromas and flavors like in this beer I get tangerine, melon, and pineapple. While being a lower ABV, less full bodied, and just easier to drink (better 'drinkability'). The style is one that you can knock a few back and not feel too terrible unlike an IPA, Double IPA, or Triple IPA where you are probably going to be one to two and done. Thanks Bald Man for the wonderful expression of flavors while still allowing me to enjoy my happy hour and evening. _______________

Yelp
This is my second time here. The last time was during covid times. I decided to come back in because I picked up one of those travel minnesota flyers in my hotel. There was a coupon for b1 g1 free pint. I had two of the ipas and they were both amazing. The service was excellent at the bar. Plenty of parking and lots of seating. Signs in the bathroom said they have trivia and other events too!

Yelp
Awesome! We came down here at a local brewery close to our abode and had a blast. On a random Saturday night we felt like checking out a brewery but didn't want to go far, and remembered this location. They regularly have live music and will charge a small cover unless it's a big event. Nice outdoor space and a variety selection of beers. They also have food trucks and pizza onsite when food trucks are not there. Be aware on weekends or during live music they might not do flights and switch to plastic cups due to the crowd, so heads up! Overall we loved the vibe!great selection of music and sports opportunities to view, fire pit in the back and ya! Love this little neighborhood spot!

Yelp
Worst place ever, went to their comedy evening on January 24th, I suggest you never invite these comedians back again. The content was vulgar and disrespectful half of our table left early because we couldn't even finish listening to this trash I mean, maybe it was funny if you were 10 years old? The food there is pretty much nonexistent, they had one food truck there and it was horrible and it upset my stomach all night long. You have to go out into the bar and order your drinks and then you have to bus your own table so I'm not really sure what this place offers. The only beverages is beer. Yes there's a selection of bears, but that's it. There's no wine there's no soda. Never agai

Yelp
Great brewery! Love the IPA and perfect drinking on the patio sharing a table with great conversation!! MUST experience great JOY

Yelp
I wasn't a fan of the service or the drinks. First I am a fan of a stout beer which they didn't offer but the service also wasn't good. We went at around 9 pm and they were not busy but the lady bartender seemed as if she couldn't be bothered. My husband let her know we were not thrilled with one of the drinks and couldn't drink it and she said nothing. We typically don't say anything but the drink was very bad. I won't be going back to this place due to product and service. The ambiance itself was fine but nothing special, it felt like a bar.

Yelp
What a find. Perfect Monday afternoon break from the grind. We popped in, sampled the Tupelo Honey Brown Ale, ordered up two pints = $7... what a deal! Started a tab, enjoyed some great beer. Nice selection with 12 brews on tap that I counted. Our next round was the Hazy Shade of Winter Hazelnut Brown. Loved it. The Taproom is big, opens up to a nice, enclosed patio area. Plenty of tables and chairs inside and out. Saw a stage I assume jams home live tunes I'll have to check out next time. Staff was nice, helpful. This was our first time, but won't be our last.

Yelp
I keep coming back! I love that they do trivia throughout the year and have music on the patio in the summer. It's a great space to get together and there's something for everyone. Beer, seltzers, kombucha, and pop! The only thing I've heard from my partner is that there's not a lot of diversity in the beer.
google avatar

Matt B.

Yelp
This is a taphouse that house rotating food trucks. The beer was pretty good, the east coast hazy IPAs all good, and the Hefe was crisp and light, still notes of clove.
google avatar

Mark G.

Yelp
Good honey wheat kölsch. No dogs. Lots of babies. One obviously needs a beer. Great view of old Cedarvale development. Come a long way since dark beer (that's right, just called "dark beer") at Pizza Hut was ordering something exotic.
google avatar

Laura K.

Yelp
Bald Man Brewing is a great vibe. Clean, welcoming atmosphere with friendly bartenders. We met some friends on a Tuesday for trivia night hosted by Trivia Mafia. Great beer selection. You can't create your own flight but the two flight options are the standard faves and seasonal offerings. Our favorite was the hazelnut brown ale. Aromas of a s'mores campfire and very drinkable for a darker beer. The ring of fire jalapeno cream ale was the talk of the table. Warning- more than MN spicy! The only reason we didn't give a 5 star rating was because there wasn't any recreation to do inside such as bags or other bar games. We will definitely return!
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
We went here to use our Pub Pass but Monday was BOGO so we decided we come back with the pass. I had a Dark Side of the Moon Porter which was very tasty. We met friends here and had a nice high top table near the window. The place was rocking for a Monday as I guess others were up for BOGO as well. Service was great with lots of good advice on beer choices. The pizza looked good but we'll save that for next visit. Getting to the front door is a little odd as it looks like you are entering a business parking area but keep going to the end and you'll get there. Great stop.

Yelp
Awesome spot not too far from my house! I came and got their Rasberry Lemon beer (I think it was called Hot Summer or something like that?) and it was really really good! I usually only drink sours, so I was a bit nervous when they told me they didn't have any, but this beer was awesome! It tasted like a sour to me...but I'm no beer expert. They were also playing live music on the day that I came, so that was fun to hear. There is tons of space, both inside and out, to sit. They have different events for each day of the week, so definitely check and see what they have going on when you plan a visit! I saw they have trivia on Tuesday's, so I'll definitely need to try and stop by for that!
google avatar

Amy J.

Yelp
Will be back! We live an hour away but we were in the area so we decided to Stop here to get a stamp in our pub pass. I wasn't sure as it seemed to be in a business type strip mall. Not like your typical brewery IMO but the inside was really nice with lots of space. Even better the 2 beers we got were SO good. I had HOT SUMMER NIGHTS RASPBERRY LEMON BLONDE ALE and my husband had SEASONS IN THE SUN HEFEWEIZEN. We plan to come back next weekend to try the same beers (and more!) and grab a few to bring home.
google avatar

Shelby G.

Yelp
If you haven't checked out Bald Man yet, definitely do! I love that I live close and can just hop on over. They have a great patio with a nicely shaded area, tables and a big garage door that opens up to the back. I always try to go earlier in the afternoon because it can fill up fast -- especially when they have a food truck out front. If you're not wanting food truck food or they don't have one that day, they do have little snacks inside, like pretzels, etc.
google avatar

Darcy W.

Yelp
Not much from the outside but spacious and well thought out on the inside. They have a great selection of beer, cool swag, and the play awesome music! There is a nice outdoor space for summer. The staff was knowledgeable, and super fun! We will be back forsure!
google avatar

Joe I.

Yelp
Cool space, decent beer, okay service. First time here, classic industrial vibe. If you have been to a brewery before, this will feel very familiar. Lots of options, and a good variety. I had the hazy IPA and the barrel-aged barleywine - both were okay. Above average, but not so much so to cause excitement. There is a stage, so it looks like there is music - with all the hard surfaces, the kind of music probably matters for how it sounds in the space, but I am tempted to check out a show here. It was a good enough experience, I would happily come back - perhaps in the summer as the patio looked very nice.

Yelp
Great brewery in the suburb! We met up with a friend while she was in town for work. This was my second visit. It is very spacious inside, there is a private room for all kind of events. I think you could even throw a wedding there. Usually they have different food truck outside the building. Check out their website. The night we were there, we brought our own food from Hoban, Korean food. I am so glad you could bring food from outside. I have seen people brought their lunch bags. Pretty cool! Something new I just discovered is you could bring your own wine bottle! Yes, they started two months ago and they are the only place in Minnesota who does that. I enjoyed their Dark Side Of The Moon because my stomach could only handle dark beer. LOL. It was a fun place!

Yelp
Bald Man Brewing is for more than men or those without hair. In fact, judging from the full tables every time I go, it is a popular happy hour brewery. Badman Brewing has an artistic feel--silver brewing tanks, hopps hand-painted on the walls, and live music. The beer selection is diverse and delicious--you can tell because they offer a Brown Ale, the sign of a worthwhile brewery. The atmosphere is a little loud and crowded, so if you are in a mood for music and a good time, this is your place. If you want a quiet conversation, avoid happy hour and head to the back room.
google avatar

Yelp
Much better out there Doubt I will ever be back Basic and same stuff Bald Man is currently the closest brewery to where I live, so I have been a handful of times over the past two and a half years just because it is close and convenient. Moving away and giving it a final farewell this evening. I think they rotate the least of any brewery that I have been to. Mostly just the same boring low ABV flagships every time you go. They may be mixing it up a little bit now, but still nothing exotic or anything you should go out of your way for. Lowest I ever go on a brewery is three stars because, hey, it's still beer. They usually have a food truck and there is a small patio out back if you are one of those people who likes to drink beer outdoors. For my money, why bother with this place unless you live close. Peace see ya later, Bald Man!

John A.

Yelp
Had a great time until other people took our table while we were dancing. Twice. Some lame jackass tried to give us money for lost our drinks, told them I didn't want their money. Pretty insulting. Honestly, if you can't control the people stealing tables, you don't belong in the bar business! Beers were mediocre too.

Yelp
My wife and I were down in the south part of the Twin Cities. There was a great taco food truck there called Chili Lime tacos. Really good! The servers were great and I tried the house IPA and their porter. All solid brews. The space is open with the mash tuns and boiling kettles right there. Kind of cool. Great space!
google avatar

Yelp
Overall, I'd really like to give this place a 4.5/5 stars. We've been here many times as it's close to where we live in Burnsville and in the summer the patio simply cannot be beat. However, my last visit for trivia left a little to be desired. It was packed, which speaks to the popularity of the place however there was also a Wild playoff game on so the trivia experience left a little to be desired. Not only were we unable to get through the full trivia game but at times it felt as though it dragged on in other parts. I wasn't drinking this particular night and the non-alcoholic options left a little to be desired (which is something I haven't noticed before). All that said - when I am drinking, the options are wonderful! I'm always wanting more sours but I've enjoyed I'd say about 85% of what I've tried over the years. There is always plenty of parking which is appreciated but as others have mentioned it's not really close to any other bars/breweries/restaurants so you sometimes feel as though there isn't anywhere else to hop to. For a happy hour in the summer, we love this place! We may just skip trivia next time and stick to what we love instead!

Yelp
Friendly service, a pretty cool space, especially for a non-descript office park area right off a busy street near the Twin Cities Premium Outlets. Free popcorn in the taproom is a nice touch that I love to see. The beer is solid, nothing spectacular, but the experience as a whole is quite good
google avatar

Roxanne S.

Yelp
We came here to meet some friends - knowing there would be live music. BUT HOLY COW. The music was so loud, we could not hear each other, and could barely order our beers. We tried to tuck in a corner, but it wasn't worth it. We had to relocate. The beer was delicious, but the music was so so so loud, we couldn't enjoy ourselves. The band was very talented, but it felt like we had walked into a concert, not a brewery. Will do more research before we head back.
google avatar

Steve T.

Yelp
Alright stuff. Maybe my third or fourth time here? I'm kind of like where the others are at, the beer is a-ok. I like the space, free popcorn is provided and you always have a food truck. Activities are happening with the Vike's games with specials being offered. The reason I was into this place is that they have pinball which considering, you go to most pinball joints, you can't here the machine. Here you could. Alas, the Iron Maiden and KISS machines were replaced by Game of Thrones and Monster Mash. Probably best beer I tried was their recently released Marzen for Oktoberfest. If you are looking to do something with a group that has beer tastes and likes across the board, go for it. They even have a corking fee for the non-beer drinker which is a nice option.

Yelp
I stopped by here this past Sunday with my wife for some evening drinks. We found Bald Man Brewing on Yelp and decided to head over. Finding it wasn't so easy as it's located in an industrial park on the back side of a building without a sign from the main road. Once we finally found it though, we thought the inside looked pretty cool. It was a massive space and felt like a warehouse. The ceiling was at least two stories high and you could see that all of their brewing equipment was named after guitar players (aka Page, Prince, Clapton) or types (Gibson and fender). They also had a giant rack full of games although sadly Yahtzee was not among them. For beer on this evening I went with the bald mans favorite which consisted of 8 samples: Honey Hush (Kolsch wheat), Seasons in the Sun (Hefeweizen), Tupelo Honey (Brown Ale), Hazelnut Brown, Penny Lane (ESB), Dark side of the moon (Porter), Young American (Pale Ale) and Misty Mountain Hops (IPA). All of the beers were good representations of their styles and my wife enjoyed all of them which isn't usually the case. I enjoyed them all as well with the Honey Hush and Mountain Hops being my favorites. The honey Hush had a nice sweetness to it while the mountain hops had a good kick of bitterness from the hops. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Both my wife and I enjoyed all of the beers that we tried and thought the space was cool as well.

Yelp
UPDATE: The manager (which so happened to be the "bartender" that told me I couldn't have another beverage) reached out to me and offered an apology. Apparently my entire group was making people uncomfortable and was not me personally. Two people went up to the manager and owner about my group. I was the main person mentioned because I had a memorable T-shirt on of a music star. I appreciate the apology I got but the situation was handled extremely poorly. Apparently their clientele and customers are the homophobic ones and not the staff. Have a bad taste in my mouth about this place and it's not just their beer. This place hates gay people. I went to this place for bingo. It was fun for a while then it went downhill. I was electively talking to other people then went to have a drink. A young brown hair bartender on 5/30 told me I was making people uncomfortable and couldn't have a drink. NEWS TO ME. Im sharing this all over Facebook til I get a formal apology. That was blatant LGBT discrimination.

Yelp
I wanted to find a local brewery while I was in town, and when I saw the name, I knew I had to check it out. (I share the hairstyle!) The brewery was packed - a good sign on a Sunday evening. Their beer selection was well balanced, if slightly heavy on IPA selections - which is not a bad thing. I tried several brews, but the "Killer Queen" DIPA really stood out as a winner - maybe one of the best DIPA's I've had. (I've tried almost 3000 beers on Untappd in the last 7 years - and I really mean it was one of the best!) The bartenders and patrons were all friendly, hooked me up with some stickers for my bar, and recommended a great place to get a meal late on a Sunday night. If I was local, I feel like this would me my watering hole of choice! Outstanding beers - keep up the great Brewing!

Yelp
While visiting Minnesota for a long weekend away, my boyfriend and I decided to hit some of the local breweries as we enjoy the ones back home in Des Moines. Bald Man was recommended by my aunt and several friends in the area. The brewery is located in an industrial area and suits the establishment. Upon entering you're created with a spacious indoor area of high top tables and low top tables. Plenty of room for you to bring groups in and move tables around. To the east side are all the bats for brewing and to the east is the bar. Since we hadn't been here before, we were able to taste a few small samples before choosing our drinks. I enjoyed the blonde ale. One huge bonus in my book is that they have a popcorn maker with fresh hot buttery popcorn and any seasoning salts you'd like to add for free! Popcorn goes great with their beers! My boyfriend and I decided to sit outside as it was a gorgeous sunny day. They have a large patio out the back with plenty of picnic type tables, chairs and sofa type seating. If you're in the area take time to stop by and enjoy some amazing brewed beer and popcorn!

Yelp
I had a work party here recently and was very impressed with their large outdoor patio area and a good selection of craft brews to enjoy while sitting in the nice, hot summer sun. I tried the Purple Haze as well as their seasonal Summer shandy. Both were really good and were perfect summer beers. They do not have their own food menu but you can bring in your own food so I saw a lot of pizza and various items to enjoy with the beer that was on tap. The space of the building itself is pretty large and can host a good amount of people. They also have two event rooms that can be booked out for larger groups. the patio out the back over looks a back parking lot but with the wooden fence you can barely tell. It is pretty large with comfy wooden chairs or patio furniture, even a couple outdoor fire pits to keep you warm on those more chilly nights. Great space with some decent beer, I will definitely be back to this location.
google avatar

Yvonne M.

Yelp
Good beer, MN Vikings and bingo. 'Nuf said. The overall favorite beer is the Tupelo Honey. The other options are good, but I've noticed that everyone seems to go back to the Tupelo Honey. They have event nights. On Sundays they show the Vikings games on several televisions, followed by a meat raffle and bingo. The space is very large with an outdoor patio. There are a couple of pinball machines in the corner. They also have a popcorn maker which is constantly popping corn during games and bingo. Very tasty and keeps folks thirsty. Nice touch....
google avatar

Nate K.

Yelp
Good patio, usually seating isn't an issue inside or not. Usually have a good food truck selection. Come here quite often! All of my guests like this place too!

Yelp
Don't be deceived by the strip mall location, Bald Man Brewing has all the charms of a classic brewery. There is plenty of parking and seating inside and outside. They have a good variety of beer, free popcorn, $3 tubs of pretzels, and a food truck parked outside. The free popcorn is what wins this place over for me. I love a good tray of popcorn with my beer. Outside they have fire pits which they light at night and outdoors games (bags/cornhole). They also have a nice stock of board games and 2 overpriced pinball machines. It's a fun taproom and a great place to grab a beer south of the cities. They have a variety of events like bingo and trivia that look like fun. Overall Bald Man was not my favorite when it comes to beer. I enjoy ambers and brown ales, but all of their beers were too hoppy for my taste. The inside is also very loud and it was difficult to hear at times, but it was still a fun spot and I recommend trying it out.

Mark H.

Yelp
Excellent venue with ample indoor and outdoor seating. Enjoyed the ambiance of the fermenters being "right there" behind a fence adjacent to the taproom. Loved the crafted beers and availability of tasty, locally made frozen pizzas to supplement them. Screens were tuned to local sports and brewery momentos were available for purchase.

Yelp
Excellent little spot in what is basically an office park or strip mall kind of place. Used to be some type of fitness studio; now it's basically the opposite. Brews, food from a food truck, and pretzels behind the bar if you need them. Free popcorn, not free pull tabs. Often the food truck guys will bring your food straight to you if they're not busy. There's a beer flight available that pretty much takes you through the entire menu. My one grief is that their beer styles skew a little sweet. In a seven item flight, three were honey based and one was a sweet, roasty porter. None were bad, but the collection as a whole was out of balance. On the other hand, I can see why they offer beer with a shot of coffee, it would work well here.

Yelp
Not my favorite brewing company, had some ups and downs. Popcorn was good and had patio seating but beer selection was not great and atmosphere was too loud. Just an average brewery I would say.

Yelp
I will give them another chance but all I was really impressed with was the free salty popcorn. I personally only like fruity/sour beers and when we went a few weeks back there was nothing remotely fruity or sour. Everything else was your typical brewery set up: plenty of communal tables, food truck out front, board games. They do also have pull tabs. The location is in your typical office park area. It faces the hi way and we had to drive around a couple times before we found it but place do not let that discourage you. The husband was way more impressed than me and cannot wait to return there do not stay away just to my mediocre review.

Yelp
Absolutely awesome place! Love the vibe here. Really great friendly welcoming staff that are always a pleasure to interact with. Great food trucks come here with some tasty delights. The beer, what can you say besides, amazing! Always a fun time! The only reason I wouldn't recommend is because I don't want it so busy I can't find a seat.

Yelp
Happy hour in the Eagan burbs is happier now that Bald Man is here! I love meeting friends and coworkers here after work for a pint or two. It's easy to get to off of highway 13, opposite side of the outlet mall, and there's lots of parking available. But enough about that. Let's talk about the brewery. It's a big, open, industrial feeling space that smells like freshly brewed beer. The patio in back is lovely on nice days and there's tons of space inside for the not so nice days. My favorite current tap is the Misty Mountain IPA, and actually, you can't go wrong with any of their IPAs in my experience. There is a good rotation of food trucks, too, so your snacking needs should be covered.

Yelp
I'm usually a snobby 'city-only brewery' type, but living as far south as I do in Minneapolis, Bald Man is close, and I am a fan of their beers, space, service and events. We normally come for trivia on Tuesday nights, where a food truck is always on hand, and the beers they're brewing up are tasty and would hold their own against the best of MSP. I'm a fan of their brown ales. While nothing special, they are tasty. The space is large, good for bellying up to the bar on a solo trip or with a large group at a table. All of their fermentation tanks are named after music legends. The barkeeps are friendly and attentive, even on the busiest of nights. Trivia Mafia usually does the trivia on Tuesdays, but they also do music trivia every so often. I was skeptical of a brewery in a random office strip in Eagan, but Bald Man is a great spot to snag a brew.
