Amazing experience that exceeded my expectations in every way. They took care of SO much for me, which meant a lot as my husband and I are both from out of town, and so was all of our family and friends. We had a wedding of ~120 people, and everything went off without a hitch thanks to the Balistreri Team. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. The food was fantastic, and came out at the right time with ease. We provided them with a signature drink list which their bartender did better than expected!! Everyone loved their wine so much that we had to order more than we planned during our reception (which they were able to do no problem). The venue itself was so convenient, open, and beautiful. I’m so thankful for the Balistreri team, and will be returning any time I’m in the Denver area!

Great visit this afternoon with some friends. The wine tasting was $20 per person, and you were able to taste over 20 type of wine. All staff were super friendly and loved to share all their knowledge. The food was great! We tried a cheese and fruit board, potato dish and shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. The owners also offered our friend a complimentary dessert as we were celebrating her birthday! The mousse was so good. We can’t wait to come back this summer!

We had our wedding reception at Balistreri on 8/31/24 and we were so glad we chose them! The weather worked out perfectly to have our band and dance floor outside . With their lighting already strung outside to the stage it was beautiful! Throughout the planning process, Mattie and Katy were great about quick responses and were really easy to work with to make sure the day fit our vision. Having in house catering that had great food also made the day so much easier to plan. We attended a group tasting event to taste a large variety of food options and then a private tasting to finalize our menu which we would highly recommend. All of our guests had great things to say about the food and thought the space was beautiful! Overall, we were so happy with our choice and would recommend Balisteri to anyone else looking for a reception spot! (photos by Megan Simpson - msimpsonphoto.com)

We had our wedding at Balistreri, and it was amazing! They were easy to work with leading up to the event, and very accommodating! They day of was beautiful, and many of my guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Katy and Mattie are the event coordinators and they were great to work with. I highly recommend them for your wedding!

We had our wedding at Balistreri on October 26th, and it could not have been a more perfect day thanks to the venue and the incredible staff. Mattie and Katy made the planning process a breeze, helped us pick our food out, took our wishes and feedback into account, and truly just gave us everything we could have wanted out of this day. They're incredibly flexible to your vision but will provide input and thoughts when needed, ensuring that everything is set up for success. The food and the wine is INCREDIBLE. We got so many compliments all night and after the fact about the dishes (lamb, salmon, and risotto), the appetizers, the desserts, the late night snack, and especially the cabernet. They're also incredibly accommodating to allergies, working with us for our friends and family with dietary restrictions to make sure everyone is aware of ingredients. We attended a tasting event to try a variety of food options, and then had a private tasting to finalize our menu, where Mattie and the chefs sat down with us and helped us tailor our menu to our exact wishes. The set-up, bartending, and wait stuff were all top notch - making our day run incredibly smoothly. The inclusion of chairs, linens, flatware, etc. and catering in house was a huge draw for us in terms of ease of planning. They have some highly recommended vendors for entertainment and alcohol delivery, who are not mandatory to use, but who worked seamlessly with the venue to create an easy and low stress day. Lastly, the venue is absolutely beautiful. It is set up so naturally perfectly that we barely felt the need for additional decor. The garage doors being open between the ceremony and reception spaces allowed for such a seamless flow and natural feeling cocktail hour. Our event of 120 guests fit the space wonderfully. We got married right at sunset, late in the year, and were gifted with the most gorgeous weather. I truly cannot rave enough about how wonderful it was to host at Balistreri. We had the most magical day and could not have done it without this wonderful venue. The amount of personal touches and care they put into hosting your event shows why it is such a popular and well loved place.

We had our wedding at Balistreri in May and it was such a dream. From our first visit, it was clear that this was the place we wanted to get married. The space is gorgeous, with indoor and outdoor options and is very flexible. It poured rain 30 minutes before our start time and the staff was so flexible on making it work so we could have our ceremony outside. Mattie and Katie were wonderful to work with before and during the wedding. The ability to bring our own alcohol was something we didn't see at other venues. They were also so accommodating to let us get ready at the venue early in the morning, bring in fire pits, and other asks that we had. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!

We started planning our wedding before our move to Denver and even from the start, the Balistreri team was wonderful to work with. The event team was responsive and always helpful and the venue was the perfect spot for our wedding. Our guests were all impressed with the quality of the food and wine and the beautiful garden and event center. We can't wait to come back to the vineyard for lunches and wine tastings at a place that will always be special for us.

Balisteri is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL venue! As a photographer I had so much fun working there. There are so many areas to get absolutely stunning photos, not to mention how friendly and kind all the staff are! I can't wait to work there again!

Yelp
Everyone associates Denver with beer but wine / Balistreri should definitely be on your to-do list for yourself and visitors. Balistreri is a locally owned winery that gets their grapes from Colorado and California. We booked their wine tasting and there were plenty of spots open day of. The tasting is essentially you standing at the counter trying their entire menu. We tasted 15 different wines, with each pour being around .5oz (aka 15 wines sounds like a lot but the pours are small!). This was a great chance to try their entire list and figure out which ones we liked the best. The reds are where they shined but we surprisingly liked their orange wine too. As a nice touch, John Balistreri was chatting with the groups. All the employees were friendly and happy to be there. They also serve a full menu, which we'll definitely come back to try. It just needs to be booked separately from the tasting so make sure to book if you'd like to eat. They also do events, corporate events, host dinners, etc. We ended up signing up for their wine club as well which is a GREAT deal. Highly recommend, 10/10.

Yelp
This place is so cute and well established. Right outside of Denver just 10 minutes away, we didn't know it was here until recently. Such a cute place for a date or celebration! We reserved for lunch and the food was decent. I really enjoyed the summer burrata w the fruits and the peach tiramisu! We also did the wine tour and tasting sample. We tried 18 different wines and received a tour of the place. Highly recommend for a nice afternooon date!

Yelp
We made reservations for this winery months in advance, as we were a large party celebrating a special occasion. Upon arriving on time, we were asked to stand behind the bar in a separate room with a table of wine bottles while others were seated, as they were preparing for a wedding. As we waited for the rest of our group, no one came to introduce themselves or offer us chairs, leaving us standing in heels, confused and uncomfortable. Finally, Kiana, our wine server, introduced herself. She was kind, but it didn't resolve the confusion over why we were left standing while everyone else was seated. To make matters worse, the person who initially led us to the table informed us that we couldn't order food because they were short-staffed and hadn't agreed on food in advance. This was extremely frustrating, given that we had planned this months ago. One of the bridesmaids and I decided to speak to the manager privately about our concerns. To our surprise, the person who had first greeted us was actually the "manager for the weekend," Curtis. His customer service was appalling--rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, with constant eye-rolling. When we explained our frustration, instead of addressing our concerns, he became defensive and made no effort to listen. His response to our seating issue was to sarcastically offer us four chairs for a party of ten. Eventually, we managed to get more chairs ourselves. Back at our table, Kiana returned and asked why we seemed upset. We explained our disappointment: we had expected to be seated at a proper table, order some snacks, enjoy the wine tasting, and receive a tour. She was understanding and mentioned that busy days like this, with events and tours happening simultaneously, were common. She offered to check on food availability and came back to let us know we could order small bites and salads, but by that point, the bride and the rest of us had already lost interest. The whole experience was a letdown--poor service, terrible wine, and Curtis's awful attitude completely ruined what was supposed to be a special day. We later found out that no senior management or ownership was on-site, leaving the team severely understaffed. The lack of leadership and customer care was apparent. Towards the end, we did receive a tour from Johnny, who was friendly and knowledgeable, but by then, the damage was done. It's also worth noting that there should be different tasting packages offered--perhaps 8, 12, or 18 wines. We endured 18 terrible wines over the course of three hours, and it felt like getting food was discouraged. To make things worse, we were told that the lack of chairs was deliberate, as they didn't want guests to "overstay." If that's the case, they should improve the wine selection and set time limits for each reservation instead of making their guests feel unwelcome. Overall, the experience was a complete disaster, and the bride was deeply disappointed.

Yelp
Very busy on a Saturday with wine tastings and filled tables inside and out. So I was pleasantly surprised they had great customer service. It's in a very hidden area. But once inside it's pretty. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. We just grabbed a few glasses. And then left. It's very romantic and cozy.

Yelp
Amazing service! If you like dry wines this place is for you! Blair did our tasting and it was super informative. This tasting was unlike any I've ever done. We got to try 12-15 wines total. They won't service white wines. Only orange and red! We met the owner John who was wonderful to take to and explained how he makes his wines. We took a short tour to the wine cellar with the owners grandson. Overall, wonderful experience and highly recommend! Only critique would be I wished we could have sat instead of stood by the bar for the entire tasting.

Yelp
Highlights 1. Conveniently located about 15 minutes outside of Denver 2. Lots of wine to try 3. Friendly service Came here for lunch and a tasting with a large group (10!) and loved it! The winery is located about 15 minutes outside of Denver and our group found to really easy to snag an Uber from downtown. We ate lunch outside in the beautiful garden. You have the option to do glasses of wine, wine flights or wine cocktails either lunch. The menu has a great selection of fresh options. We did a few appetizers to share (tartare, bruschetta, and burrata) and they were all super flavorful. I had the risotto with grilled chicken for lunch and thought it was awesome. The wine tasting was amazing fun experience as you get to try ALL of the wines! We also did a quick tour of the wine cellar with Birdie (one of the owners). She was so sweet! Highly recommend. Can't wait to be back!

Yelp
If I could gate keep this place I absolutely would. This is the most ideally located winery near Denver with the only real wine tasting that I have found, an amazing food selection, and great prices. It also has a beautiful event space in the back! Not to mention the service is impeccable. A wine tasting is $20 for around 20 rotating wines that comes with your own sommelier to run you through the flavors and educate you on the types. This was so much fun for my in laws and us to do; and afterwards we grabbed a table for a late lunch. They do close very early on week days and I would recommend making a reservation for tasting plus a reservation for dining online beforehand. My only suggestion would be to add allergen information to the menus please!

Yelp
Had a great afternoon at the winery today celebrating a friends birthday and promotion. We made reservations ahead of time but you can definitely walk in and enjoy wine tasting and lunch here. We did the wine tasting and it was 20+ wines and a tour for $20 a person. You can also reserve a spot for lunch, which you can eat before or after your tasting (or if you need to pause the tasting to eat you can do that as well). We really enjoyed tasting all the different types of wine available! The staff and owners are super friendly and loved to educate patrons on all things wine. The food was just as good as the wine! We didn't cheese and fruit plate and potatoes for apps, and each of us got the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo for entrees. All were so so good. They also let the birthday gal order a dessert on the house and we shared the dark chocolate mousse. It was so yummy! We can't wait to come back this summer!

Yelp
Great visit this afternoon with some friends. The wine tasting was $20 per person, and you were able to taste over 20 type of wine. All staff were super friendly and loved to share all their knowledge. The food was great! We tried a cheese and fruit board, potato dish and shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. The owners also offered our friend a complimentary dessert as we were celebrating her birthday! The mousse was so good. We can't wait to come back this summer!

Yelp
Go and treat yo self! The wines are so good and the sangria is a fave! Also, their bruschetta, boards, and mushroom soup is yummy! Beautiful presentation and great vibes. Had a chance to meet the owner and his wife as they operate the tasting. Both very cool. Included in the 15-20 wine tasting is a winery tour.

Yelp
Our experience was a bit mixed. Surprisingly the location is not very attractive and is located is a rough industrial area just North of the Suncor gas refinery. In this case location did not stop it from being very busy on a Saturday afternoon. The service was great during our tasting and we found 2 wines out of the 20 we tasted that we enjoyed. We were with a group of four and asked about the tour that was included with the tasting but were brushed off serval times about it. During the tasting we were told he doesn't handle the tour and to speak with the cashier. The cashier said she would arrange a tour after they seated us for lunch. The server during lunch would disappear for 15 -20 minute stretches and said she would let us know when the tour started. I think they may have just been understaffed but the tour never happened. Our drinks at lunch took 20 minutes to arrive with one missing that we continued to ask about. A water carafe for refills was promised several times and never arrived. The meals were decent but portion sizes varied depending on the dish. Appetizers came out with the meal. We sat for an additional 15-20 minutes after our plates were cleared with empty glasses waiting for the check. As a note we were seated in the front wine tasting area for lunch instead of the back dining area. This was not ideal and pretty crowded so maybe it contributed to the poor lunch service. We enjoyed time with our friends here but unfortunately I don't think we will be back.

Yelp
Went for Mothers Day lunch here I made my reservation over a month in advance and glad we did it was really busy. When I booked I called and asked if kids were allowed because I had a toddler on oxygen and wanted to make sure space could accommodate him, they said yes. Two days before a gal called and confirmed res and how many children I told her 1 and age. When we get there they tell us they have no high chairs or boosters on their premises which I found off why you wouldn't tell us that both times I mentioned I had a child age 3. Luckily and I mean make a break I brought his stroller and it fit under table. He wasn't exactly able to enjoy meal upright like us being in stroller but we had to make do. Now they were definitely trying to be prepared you could tell they had whole table of drinks labeled ready to go and a lot of plates pre made. Unfortunately you also felt like the food had been sitting on the plate for awhile. I'm shocked they didn't had a cheese plate being a winery that they could have made ahead and I bet every table would have ordered. I will say their soft shell crab in a green curry was amazing and could tell was fresh and they just fried it. The entrees like the short rib felt a little to overprepared. Loved their white sangria and Rose they had. It's definitely a cute hidden place for a party although kind of sketch looking on the way

Yelp
We made a last minute decision to do a wine tasting and searched for a place near Denver and we were surprise to find one in Denver (it's close to commerce city but the vineyard was beautiful). The family and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the wine. You can tell they do genuinely like what they do. When we came for the wine tasting, we tasted 19 different wines that was more than what we paid for. There were breadsticks available to clear your palette or help sober up. At the end of the event, I was pretty tipsy but a good tipsy. After the wine tasting, they offered a tour of the vineyard and underground where the barrels are being held. There's a place for lunch and an outdoor area. Overall, very beautiful vineyard.

Yelp
Balistreri is my new favorite winery. I've lived really close to here for the last almost 2 decades and didn't realize they existed. Looking for something to do on a Sunday afternoon after lunch and saw this place on Yelp. Came for the wine tasting and left a wine club member. I love that they have so many great wines and please eat before you try the tasting because it's 20+ types of wine.. unfiltered, natural, no sulfite added.... all good stuff. John the winemaker helped us with our tasting and did the cute little tour of their winery...great customer service and everything was super adorable! Came back a 2nd time as wine club member you get 2 free tastings a month included in your membership. Have heard about their yummy food and tried a few things. Must try - bacon wrapped dates, fingerling potatoes, short ribs and the chicken... omg, super reasonably priced and oh so delicious. I did not order this but I think next time I want to try their charcuterie, it looked amazing. They also do summer dinner and a movie on their lawn, different events throughout the year, lots of weddings held here... overall just a great local small business to support. I'm so glad I found them and the perk is definitely living really close by. Do their wine membership if you're able to stop by to pick up the wine every few months as it's totally worth it.

Yelp
Is a great place for any occasion or special occasions because you can used as a venue for small or large event, they have a great menu and great wine, home made! They harvest their own grapes it's really a gem in Denver with a great service, they will work with you and give you the best attention. We celebrate my daughter's XV and it was a sweet and special celebration. We go as often as we can just to enjoy the place and the food

Zach P.

Yelp
We absolutely love this place! It is in such an unexpected location with all the industrial buildings surrounding the place. We were very wary our first visit. We ventured over for our second visit yesterday and once again, it did not disappoint. We've never done lunch, but our second wine tasting was such a delight. 20 tastings for 20 bucks is such a steal! I'm a big red wine fan and they have tons of amazing options. Our host Handley did a great job with her knowledge of each wine and was great to talk with. The owner even came up and remembered us from December! We ended up signing up for their wine club and will be making more regular visits in the future. Cheers!!

Yelp
5 stars for service 5 stars for food 4 stars for ambience (loud trucks weekdays if outdoors) 3 stars for wine (yeasty)

Yelp
I've lived here 10+ years and just found this place, that's such a shame! What a gem to find. You can make a reservation for Lunch, pay $10 to reserve, then that goes towards your bill. We were greeted by a nice young man who asked if we wanted to do a tasting. We decided to eat first, and boy did we eat! We ordered the antipasti charcuterie board, bacon dates and the homemade ciabatta bread. All excellent choices! The board was as big as the table, with so many cheese and meats! The dates we were all fighting over, and the bread is where I live. It's hot, soft in the middle and crispy outside. Served with the best olive oil for dipping. A must try! The best part though was the personal service from the staff and the wine maker himself! He made sure to come by our table to invite us for a wine tasting after lunch. We did, and he did the sampling for us. We learned so much about Colorado wine. It was such a good time, we will be back.

Angelica B.

Yelp
Wow this place! I brought my sister here for her birthday festivities. First of all, I was definitely 30 minutes late thinking my tour started at 4:30pm instead of 4:00! ‍ that was my bad. But even being late the staff was so helpful and understanding, I was in awe of the hospitality. We were able to taste ALL of the wine (we might or might not have drank them like shots lol) but nonetheless, it was quite the experience. We learned about each wine and the gentleman that was explaining the wine to us was very personable and knowledgeable about them. It was a very intimate tour, which I really appreciated, and we even left with some bottles. I had an amazing experience and next time, I promise I won't be late lol

Yelp
We arrived in Denver, CO and was able to successfully check into our hotel early in the morning which has only happened to us twice. I was anxious to get out and find a winery. I had did research on this winery ahead of time. It has a rich history and we wanted to try it out. We arrived and they asked if we wanted to sample the wines or do a flight. He said we can go through every wine. As much as I wanted to do that, I knew that would be my last stop ha.. We decided on a flight and order some grub to go with the wine. I thought it was a perfect blend. The wines that I tried were nice, and dry. No complaints. Good wine for sure. Many options to choose from. I asked where the grapes come from. He mentioned California and Palestine ( over the hills in CO) apparently many places we visited said the same thing. Something I need to look into. He said they do all the wine making on site. Next time setup a tour and he will show us. The parking is a bit confusing as it's in the back and in the front. Difficult to identify. The place is off a main drag, but like in an industrial park of some sorts.

Marie C.

Yelp
Loved our wine tasting & tour. Kyle was great. We tried so many wines, over 20! Birdy gave us a tour & was do fun to learn the history of Balistreri Vineyards & their process. We bought a couple of their yummy dessert wines. We highly recommend checking this place out!

Kaylee M.

Yelp
I came in for a winetasting on Sunday and was impressed by the wine, business owners and the experience. All of the wine is natural without added sugar or preservatives, with the exception of one of the desert wines which is sweetened and tastes reminiscent of cherry pie filling. All of the white wine offerings are distinct and this winery has a unique spin on some of my favorite classics which I enjoyed. Because of the natural wine making process without filtering, these ones actually contain probiotics forgot Health. I am also convinced this one does not give headaches or hangovers. We were lucky to have a tour of the wine cellar before a private event later that evening and learned about the family owned when making process and story. The father/wine maker is from Sicily and brought his traditions of winemaking to this little Colorado winery and has won award after award for his all natural product. This seems like a beautiful space for private events, weddings or bridal showers ET see. If you sign up for their email newsletters you can get information about dinner events in the wine cellar. I would love to do that one day

Yelp
A cute little winery less than 10 minutes from downtown Denver?! Who woulda thunk!! Seriously though, I was shocked to find out how close Balistreri is to downtown - a super quick & easy drive away brings you to a little slice of wine paradise. The people here are so friendly and helpful, and truly seem to be passionate about the wine. We've been here a couple of times - one time to enjoy food and drinks and another time for the tasting. When my husband and I came for food and drinks, we sat outside which was so nice and peaceful. We ordered the charcuterie board and also got a flight of wine - love that that's an option! For the tasting, we got to try literally all 20+ of their wines which I thought was amazing. They have such a wide variety and what an experience to try them all while chatting with friends! Highly recommend this spot to all wine lovers!

Robert M.

Yelp
Wow!!!!!!! Spectacular Food created by their new Chef, Shea, A tasteful and creative twist to Chicken and Dumplins...Paird with their great wines.. Wow!!! Cant;s stop thinking about the great experience we had at Balistrei Thank You Rob & Valerie

Yelp
Wine tasting and great lunch! Great place to catch up with friends and enjoy the atmosphere

Jesse B.

Yelp
Came for a wedding and was impressed with the outdoor space they have for events. They have parking in the front and back depending on number of people attending. The indoor room was large and open that allowed for multiple tables, space for food, a bar and restrooms specific to the event space. The food was very tasty and they offered a vegan option for my friends. I particularly liked the salmon which can be overcooked when made in large quantities. I tried the red sangria made with some of the Balistreri reds. It wasn't overly sweet and filled with oranges. I'll have to come back for a tasting/tour in the future with my lovely wife.

Maricela L.

Yelp
The wine was good. Love that it was organic with no preservatives. The place was beautiful and the service was amazing. I do wish we could go seat outside or inside for wine tasting instead of standing though. Tasted about 7 different wines and got a tour.

Sheri W.

Yelp
This is a little gem here in Denver ! We were just looking for a place to enjoy a sunny winter day. Walking in the aroma from the food was amazing ! You can wine taste at the bar or sit at a table with flights. So excited to find this place. Food was amazing and wine is great !!! I cannot wait to take my friends.

Michelle W.

Yelp
We have been here several times for tastings and lunch and each time it is fabulous. I love that they don't add anything to the wine, in fact they really don't mess with it a whole lot at all. It is a small local winery with all of the bottling and everything done on sight. The tasting is very generous and the tour is worth your time to go see the rest of the facility. If you can have Kyle aka Nor Cal be your host for the tasting. He is very personable, funny and has a crazy amount of knowledge. Make reservations for the tasting and lunch as well because the food is great. Gorgeous spot for events especially weddings.

Yaejin R.

Yelp
Complimentary tasting - 5/5. Service was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable staff. Prompt service. Made us want to sit down for lunch Lunch - 2/5. Although the food was excellent, it took us 15 minutes to finally stand up and tell someone to get us a server. Then another few minutes until someone finally came by. He was very friendly but just not available. We got food and wanted to order wine but couldn't until we finished the first course. Octopus was a little tough, but flavor was perfect. Risotto was on the saltier side was very good with wine.

Patrick B.

Yelp
// Summary A fun wine tasting experience where you can try more wines than you'd maybe care for. // Experience My date and I had a wine tasting experience here, and boy was it a marathon. You try ~20 selections of wine, which equate to 2.5-3 generous glasses. Not all of them are winners - some were downright not potable, and others seemed like it was made just for my palate. That's what you get when you have a large variety. // Service I kind of wish there was a bit more interaction with the folks, but they do multiple wine tastings for parties simultaneously. We also got a quick tour and a bit of the history, which was fascinating to learn about. // Ambiance It seems like they just have a bar, a couple of tables, and a large space for parties and events. They seem to have a great outdoor space for events too, but if you're in for the wine-tasting, it's pretty as minimalistic as it gets. // Convenience It's kind of in the middle of nowhere with respect to the Denver metro area -but glad that there's at least something like Balistreri to provide good experiences where you don't have to travel so far to go to a winery.

Stephanie B.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing AMAZING wine and lunch. I got a wine flight and a sweet potato cavatelli. Incredibly delicious and fresh . Would recommend for a good lunch any day!

Alana Z.

Yelp
Super cute venue! My friend organized a winery day for us and we had a wonderful time at Balisteri! The tasting is free which is pretty legit. The staff is wonderful and so friendly. We ordered the grilled octopus, brie grilled cheese and grilled chicken sandwich. They were all delicious! The octopus was cooked really well and everything on that plate went really well together! The grilled cheese was fantastic. Fig jam, avocado, bacon, and brie. I don't know that I could ask for more. Drool. It was a perfect combination of sweet and savory which is definitely one of my favorite balances of flavors. My man reports that the grilled chicken sandwich was also good. The wine was good but not fantastic. I don't know that my opinion should be considered heavily. I'm not a huge wine drinker but I think there were a few that I would definitely purchase. The rosé and sirah were my favorites. I would highly recommend this place for celebrations! Birthdays, bach parties, whatever. It's a beautiful spot in the middle of a very industrial area.

Yelp
What a gem! Cute winery near Denver. We had lunch here and a wine flight on the weekend. Everything went smoothly from the easy online reservation the night before to the end of the meal. There is a small deposit for the reservation. The food was really delicious and top notch. You can do a flight of five 1-oz wine pours of your choice for $10. I found out later you can request to do the 20 wine-tasting for $20 at your table but they prefer you do it at the bar to talk with the bartender. Honestly, with that much wine I'd rather do it with the meal. The brussel sprouts and pasta were particularly incredible! The wines were excellent, which I wasn't honestly expecting from local wines. I mentioned this to the owner when he came around but I don't think he appreciated the comment haha. The wine club is really great! Annual payment/gift versus monthly pickups versus every other month shipments. It's a reasonable cost and only a six month commitment. See photo for details.

Yelp
Good variety of wines for a decent price. 20+ tastings for $15! The food isn't bad either and the servers were all very kind and attentive. Would definitely go back.

Yelp
We were so happy we found this hidden gem in commerce city! Looked for venues for wedding that were affordable and came across Balistreri vineyard. Loved the "small town" feel of vineyard and people we worked with at venue planning our wedding. Was no hidden fees in their cost like other venues. All our wedding guest asked how we found such a beautiful place! They loved it! Will post more photos when we get more. Thanks Balistreri vineyard team for making our special day, amazing!

Yelp
Great place to spend a afternoon in Denver. All of their wines have no sulfite added. It's rare for people with sulfite sensitivity but I do like the idea that Balistreri keeps their wine pure and do most of their advertising through word of mouth. Most of their bottles can only be purchased here. The grandmother gave us a tour of the cellar and grandson Ray helped pour our free tastings. I could tell the family puts a lot of love into the place. The catering space is also nice and roomy for events. Out of the 15 or so we sampled, we picked up the sweet Zinfandel and Pinot Grigio. Saluti!

Yelp
Food and service are so great if you're lucky enough the family will be serving you and give you a little more back story. The collection ceramic around is a cherry on top. The variety of wines is so cool as well! I recommend this place 100%

Yelp
It's been quite a long time since I've visited the winery but my last stop in was just lovely! Not only do they offer a large diversity of wines, they let you try them all for FREE! That's right people, free. Loved the tour the winemaker's grandson gave and enjoyed sitting on the patio drinking one of their fancy wine cocktails. While I didnt eat this time around, I can tell you that what I had a while back was delicious and the whole winery is full service in terms of sitting down to have a bite to eat. Cant wait to come back!

Yelp
Today our Garden Club went to Balistreri Vineyards. The food was spectacular!! Everyone loved the meal and we chose many different items on the menu. The beet salad with chicken was fabulous and so was the zucchini soup. Joseph was our server and he was awesome! The owner came out to greet us. His wife did an informative tour in the wine cellar. Many ladies got the $10 sampler of wines or a glass of wine and loved it, especially the cherry pie wine! It was a very lovely event with Delicious food!! I highly recommend this restaurant!!! Thank you Joseph and Birdie for taking great care of us! We loved it!! Your chef is incredible!

Yelp
We had our wedding here at Balistreri on June 19th, 2021. Unfortunately, we had to push our wedding from June 2020 but Balistreri made it so easy and they were so kind. We loved our experience with Balistreri from the moment we walked in. The event coordinators were always so communicative and there were no hidden fees. You can tell that this place is family owned because they make you feel like you are apart of their family. The venue is beautiful, the food and wine are beyond amazing, and everyone could not stop talking about how great of a time they had. I am so appreciative and cannot thank you all enough for making our day so amazing and easy. If you aren't shopping for a wedding venue, make sure you stop in and get a bite to eat and try the wines. Everything is SO delicious and you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
I was worried because we were deep in an industrial area, but that was a mistake. I will admit up front, I have been drinking wine for 20 years, and I am not regionally limited. For the most part, I despise Colorado wines (near Denver). I find them to be dull, and underwhelming because they are made small batch by inexperienced winemakers. This one is different. Their tasting puts forth about 20 different wines. I was not impressed by the whites, but the winemaker said up front, they are known for their reds. He was right. If you can't find a wine that suits your pallet here, then something is wrong. They have Can Franc, Syrah, Sangiovese, Tempranillo, Malbec, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Petit Syrah, and a series of dessert and Port wines. Out of 20, I loved at least 10, and liked the other 10 as well. The others in my group loved them all. For the wine, it's worth a visit and I am sure you will love it. Now, on to the food. We only had a antipasti plate and some bacon wrapped dates. They were absolutely top notch. The presentation was also spot on. This is a bonus, good wine and good food. I didn't mention, the venue is also nice. I would add some background music though. The rest of the menu looked awesome! I am certain you would not be disappointed if you came here to eat dinner or lunch. This one is a hidden gem.

Yelp
Went here for a long lunch during the week with a friend and had the most amazing experience. We tried the signature flight of wines, all of which were delicious, and it was only $8 for the flight!! Also, the food was surprisingly high quality and worth a trip on its own. Food highlights for me were the short rib (absolutely *must get* if you're a red meat eater), the ramp gnocci, and the rhubarb frozen dessert, but we tried most of the menu and everything was yummy. Also, the service was lovely. We had the kindest, most friendly server who made our experience so pleasant and answered all of our questions.

Yelp
Another great experience here! So happy they survived the pandemic! The food is so fresh and delicious and great selection of wine! Kalin gave us excellent service today as well! Can't wait to go back

Yelp
This venue was perfect and all that we could have wanted. We also used their catering service and the food was delicious! I highly recommend serving their red sangria as one of your drinks at your wedding. YUMMY!! Thank you Julie, Mattie and Lauren! You all were so amazing and accommodating!

Yelp
Three stars for the staff, friendly and welcoming. One star for Julie, the "owner". Been in F&B for twenty years and there's no way she would be a manager at any establishment that her daddy did not start. No personality, appeared hungover, and incompetent. Hard pass.

Yelp
It's a family owned vineyard. It's not very big but we felt very welcomed. Denver isn't really the spot to go visit a vineyard but you can't go wrong with this place!

Yelp
We went here for our anniversary and this place is super cute and cozy! The wine quality are top notch and the food is amazing. They give you unlimited free bread and delicious cheese board on the side. We got the pork loin, rib eye and olives. All are out of this world. The pork loin is so juicy and tender, along with the sauce that takes it to a whole new other level! Definitely will come back.
