Ball Square Cafe is a gem. It was my first time visiting with a friend, and we had a nice time. The cafe is clean and no frills, which is a great thing. I enjoyed the jazz music playing, which made for just the right ambiance to relax and dig in to the many breakfast/lunch items on the menu. I ordered a made-to-order omelette with the house fries - such a generous portion! What made the omelette was that it wasn’t dry or flat like in most places; it was fluffy and light and had just the right balance of ingredients. Staff was friendly and attentive. I can’t wait to return to try other menu items.

Google
The coconut macaroon french toast is my absolute fave. All the servings are huge also. I took the rest home and had enough left over to have another full meal later that day. The cafe was clean with a welcoming environment. Different age ranges where there and there was nice light jazz music playing in the background that set a wonderful ambiance. My waiter was super nice and I didn't feel rushed at all the quickly eat and pay which is starting to feel like the norm in Boston restaurants. Can't go wrong with choosing this place!

Google
We got there and the line was long. However, the wait was not bad at all. The eggs benefits were made to perfection. Runny yolk, excellent hollandaise sauce. I replaced the Canadian bacon with regular bacon and loved it!!! The French toasts were not overly sweet and the fruit was fresh. I will be coming back here!

Google
The service was great! Very fast and accommodating, we brought our dog and we had plenty of space for her. The food was good, but nothing impressive. I got the omelet. The portion size is generous and I would come back in the future.

My daughter comes here often. My wife and daughter come here from time to time. So I came with my wife today. Terrific food, excellent service and the owner Mike stops by your table just to make sure things are right with a sincere desire to make your visit the best possible. Worth a visit, anytime!!

Google
My experience at Ball Square Cafe in Somerville was a mix of highs and lows. On the positive side, the breakfast menu boasts a great combination of flavors in various dishes. The creativity in their menu items truly stood out, and the food itself was delicious. However, the service was a bit lacking. There was no follow-up to check if our orders were accurate, which was a disappointment. It's the attention to detail in service that truly elevates an experience. Additionally, the concept of self-serving water and drinks seemed a bit unusual, making the overall service experience less personalized. Despite the service hiccups, the quality of the breakfast options makes Ball Square Cafe a worthwhile visit for the food alone. If they can improve on the service aspect, it has the potential to be an even more enjoyable dining spot.

Google
Ball square cafe has been on my list to visit ever since I moved to the area over a year ago. I was very intrigued by the establishment’s origin story and encourage folks too look it up! I visited on a Friday morning at about 10am and was able to sit down right away. The food came out pretty face. I ordered the mushroom omelette and my partner ordered the apple French toast. The food was 10/10. The atmosphere is very nice, like a warm family place. I wish the tables weren’t so close to each other but that’s not a big deal.

Google
If you’re an eggs benedict fan, this one won’t disappoint. Hollandaise sauce is fantastic! Service is very friendly and kind

Michelle M.

Yelp
I always have a great experience the food is always great. The service is always awesome. I definitely recommend Ball Square, Café.

Jay B.

Yelp
What a little gem . We are out of towners and looking at colleges for my daughter. We wanted breakfast and this place did not disappoint. The service was right on and attentive making sure we got everything we needed to enjoy the wonderful food. The plates came out nice and hot. The portions are big. Everything tasted delicious. The inside is nice and cute. The tables are far enough from each other that you are not sitting on each other. The only challenge is looking for metered parking on the street.

Malina N.

Yelp
We were feeling a little silly during brunch and it was fun how our waiter felt proud we filmed his iced mocha that he made (it tasted great!) What we ordered a littleee too much (on part of my hungry stomach) but enjoyed our food and leftovers very much! Definitely would come back for a solid brunch when we're feeling too lazy to cook!

Hayley R.

Yelp
Can't understand the rave reviews. Service is slow, food came out cold and bland. Not to mention, it's expensive for a no frills diner. Waited 45 minutes for a $17 veggie omelet that came out cold, with the wrong sides, and raw veggies inside. I had to chase the waitress for the correct order, she never came to check in on us.

Shana S.

Yelp
The food is ok. The servings are pretty big- I always bring a to go box home with me. The orange juice is refreshing. Today I tried the famous macaroon coconut French toast. I give it a 3.5 out of 5. It's really sweet and coconutty. If you like coconut, this is for you. The service is good for such a busy spot. Sometimes they get the order wrong, something missing from the order or don't offer you a bag for your to-go box. But they all are always warm, welcoming and accommodating.

Todd L.

Yelp
I've been here several times and it's hands down my favorite breakfast spot in the Boston area. They're always extremely busy but service is still top notch. Clean, casual interiors. In terms of food, you can't go wrong with the corned beef hash, macaroon French toast, and eggs Benedict - but I haven't had a dish that wasn't delicious and generous in portions here. I only have the one photo since I'm always way too eager to just dig in! Come with a party of 2 to have the highest chance of being seated in a timely manner during peak brunch hours otherwise you'll be facing wait times of up to or over an hour. Street parking is also a pain in this area so watch out for that.

Chanda R.

Yelp
Ball square cafe is a great place to go with your friends and family. When you walk in, you feel like a true friend and family from the waitstaff to the owners who are all very friendly, helpful and polite. I remember when the cafe was small little shop but it has since been expanded to hold so many more patrons. The breakfast is always so good! Grandma enjoys the eggs, bacon and corn muffin! The bottomless coffee is always a plus. If you want to take a cup to go they happily oblige with a cup to go! However this time I wanted something different and got the bagel and lox. It was underwhelming. The proportion of cream cheese to lox was lacking and at $17 I can't say I would get it again. It tasted fine but the value wasn't there. Overall great place! I'll be back!

Des B.

Yelp
Tasty food for sure. It appeared that there were only two servers working for the entire, completely full restaurant. I can imagine it's a strain on the server and hope that was a one off situation. Our server was accommodating with our party of 3 young children. The food came out quicker than you would expect.

Shirlane C.

Yelp
Solid place for brunch on the weekend. I arrived at 9 am on Saturday and was immediately seated. We were a party of 2. Parking is a bit tough by the location but if you drive like two or three minutes away there are more spots by the park. I got the Celtic omelet and it was plenty of food for one. You get the omelet, potatoes and toast. Overall good service.

Lina L.

Yelp
I have been meaning to try out Ball Square Cafe and decided to stop by around 2pm on a Saturday. It was not as packed but still busy considering how they close in about an hour. I quickly ordered the Coconut Macaroon French Toast while my boyfriend ordered the Traditional Eggs Benedict. The coconut macaroon French toast was amazing! It looked like a lot, but in reality, each bite was not overwhelmingly sweet. It had the perfect amount of raspberry flavor prevalent while each side of the toast was sprinkled with coconut flakes. I wish the vanilla drizzle was more prominent, but it was overshadowed by the raspberry drizzle, which was fine. The eggs benedict was drowned in hollandaise sauce, which my boyfriend found a bit overwhelming. I thought it was fine as the flavor was not overly savory, making you tired of the dish. The bacon tasted pretty good in quality as well. I enjoyed how their home fries were cooked to perfection. They were soft and tender. I would love to come back to try out other items on their menu. I left the restaurant feeling full and content.

Belkis R.

Yelp
This place is absolutely everything. Every single item on this menu is delicious. Some of my favorite items were the grill special and the waffles. Everything is made to perfection here giving all the diner vibes but it's just better. I definitely would recommend this place for breakfast, brunch and any time to be honest. Also, be sure to come hungry as the portions are huge.

Mike F.

Yelp
Even though the service here is good, for some reason they always forget to bring utensils with the food. The fresh squeezed orange juice is a must.

Naia L.

Yelp
Great breakfast spot! First time there and loved everything, the food most of all! I had a south beach omelette (egg white, spinach and cheese) with a side of English muffin...the omelette was ok but the English muffin was grilled to perfection! I could of ate a few of those! Toasty, crunchy, buttery! I also had the best pancake ive ever eaten! Chocolate chip and coconut, best combo! I'd go back just for that! My friends had other things and loved all of it. I tried my friends' french toast and it was decadent, sweet, melted in my mouth! Will definitely go back! Highly recommend. Food came out fast; laid back place, nothing fancy.

Eric F.

Yelp
Everything you want from a breakfast spot. Lightning fast wait times and staff, good sized portions, reasonable prices, it's really a good deal. Only minus is the decor, can feel a little like an office, but overall very little to complain about.

Guli K.

Yelp
If you haven't stopped by in a while, you will be happy to find out that they have expanded, and also offer outdoor seating - which likely means less wait times on the weekend. The food was as good as I remember and the portions as generous. Menu definitely offers something for everyone and they were very accommodating to customizing orders. Service was very quick and friendly.

Trisha F.

Yelp
Clean, welcoming, and yummy food. Quick service, everything was fresh and a great location. Came for a late breakfast during the week and will be back again!

Tasha C.

Yelp
Get the grilled mashed potatoes, you won't be disappointed. There maybe a wait on weekends but it worth it.

Tiff L.

Yelp
Packed on the weekends, I finally made my way to visit Ball Square...on a Friday late morning! PARKING: Parking is always tough in this area but luckily on a Friday morning, we were able to snag a spot right in front. If you rather not deal with parking, the T stop is located right across the street. SPACE: Fairly spacious and clean, we got to pick our own table. SERVICE: Everyone was incredibly nice and our server was very quick to joke around. Service was quick at times which we appreciated but it did take some time to get our order in in the beginning. FOOD: There was such an overwhelming number of choices so I went with what was most popular. I ordered the sweet pepper corned beef hash eggs benedict. My partner ordered the regular corned beef hash eggs plate and we both shared the banana and Nutella stuffed french toast. The corned beef hash was probably one of the best I've had in any of the diners and restaurants I've been to - it's not dry and not from a can. The stuffed french toast was on whole another level and I couldn't get enough of it. I highly recommend the french toast and any variations of the corned beef hash. The visit was worth it and I can't wait to go back!

Carol B.

Yelp
Great Breakfast, the owner engages every customer ! Delish French toast ! Pet friendly, so glad we stopped here!

Ibrahim M.

Yelp
We decided to go for breakfast on a Saturday. It was packed which is always a good sign. We were seated immediately which was surprising. Service was pretty fast for how packed it was. Food came out quickly. Great portions, Great tasting, Great service and Great Variety! Give yourself sometime for parking. There's meter parking on the street. Do not go when you're starving and have to look for parking (worse combination). Also the meter doesn't take cards only quarters. But overall highly recommended place for GREAT BREAKFAST!

Ray M.

Yelp
As a tourist outta NYC that has so many dinning options, I must say this spot hit nicely. Had a warm family feel. The staff was very nice, welcoming and accommodating. I believe our server was "Shirley ". Very nice lady. Got my order spot on perfection. I enjoyed my breakfast. I ordered Pancakes and eggs with some Texas toast. Hot Chocolate to accompany that and it was hitting too. Spot is great for an affordable and great meal. Bargain! It's in a strip mall. High ceilings but still warm if it's cold out. Overall I give this spot 4 stars because it was just perfect. Nothing bad at all whatsoever and not over the top super duper fancy. Just perfect for a nice, tasty meal that satisfies. So if that's what you're looking for this is the spot?

Marni M.

Yelp
My sister and I wanted to grab brunch nearby. We were able to snag a table as it was easier for a party of two. There is metered parking but spots seems to fill fast. Since they were clearly busy, we ordered everything at once as opposed to saving the sweets for last. We shared a single banana pancake and chicken tenders with sweet potato french fries. Pancake was smaller than the ones served at the table next door so I was a bit disappointed. I prefer mine to be on the more fluffy side with a bit more caramelization on the bananas. Tenders were crispy, flakey, and juicy. The sweet potato steak fries were cooked but could have stayed in the fryer for longer. I had the Moroccan eggs over easy with the grilled mashed potatoes while my sister had the corn beef hash over easy eggs with the chopped potatoes. Moroccan eggs could have benefitted from some garlic or onion powder but they weren't bad. Corn beef hash was definitely homemade and charred nicely on the top and bottom. Can't go wrong with the traditional chopped potatoes which is like home fries, or the Omar's potatoes which is as described, grilled mashed potatoes. Overall, good experience with big portions and fair prices. Our server was friendly and attentive even though it was incredibly busy. Cleanliness is a little questionable as the two small dishes our waiter provided for us had particles of food from the prior users. Since we didn't need them, they were returned back to the kitchen. The other cutlery and dishes appeared to be fine. I recommend!

Willie R.

Yelp
Some friends and I went hiking and were famished afterwards, so we came over to Ball Square Cafe given the high Yelp reviews. There was a short line, but we were fortunately able to squeeze in at a table near the front window. They have a TON of stuff on the menu, even offering a variety of toppings with pancakes. I ordered the caramelized strawberry and banana French toast, and my first question is...why does every brunch place not have that on the menu?! What a great fruit combination. I do have to say the French toast was soooo sweet that I had a small stomachache later, but it was delicious in the moment! Just get ready for a sugar overload. I had a side of turkey sausage, which was flavorful. Note that they don't serve mimosas or any sort of alcoholic beverages, which is totally fine and just something to be aware of. Our server was a little on the brusque side, but on the whole, we definitely had a good experience here!

Rachel M.

Yelp
I was looking for a breakfast place in Boston where my son and I could eat and Ball Square came up on Yelp. There is metered parking on the street but it did take us a couple of turns to find a spot. This is a seat-yourself restaurant. There were plenty of tables when we came in around 10 on a weekday, but they seemed to be a little short-staffed. I only saw two servers working and they were both HUSTLING. Because of that it took a while to get our drinks and order in. No shade to the staff. They were busy. Just a note to make if you are in a rush. However once we did put the food in, we got it very quickly. I had the roasted mushroom omelet with boursin cheese, and it was stuffed with cheese and mushrooms. So rich and creamy. My son tried the French toast and the pancakes. He loved the French toast and wasn't a huge fan of the pancake. They also have these smashed homefries that were incredibly tasty. The decor in the cafe felt a little...meh, like you were eating in a hotel lobby paired with an assortment of elevator music. But the food was good and despite staff rushing around, they were friendly.

Cyan Y.

Yelp
Get away from the cold and get a warm breakfast @ballsquarecafe It offers all-day breakfast and was packed even at 2pm people were still coming for food. The steak tips is amazing with two runny yolk eggs and the portion is generous. They have a variety of options on the menu and also accommodate to customization.

Jessica W.

Yelp
For a Sunday morning, the wait wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. My party of 4 waited about 20 minutes to be seated. We were promptly sat and given menus as well as water. We ordered three eggs benedicts, a breakfast plate, and the tri-berry french toast. The food was super yummy and filling. I've never had grilled mash before and it was so good. My only complaint is that all of our eggs in our eggs benedicts were not poached. We were expecting a nice runny yolk when we cut through the eggs, but instead it was a solid yolk. Next time, I would just clarify that I would like the egg to be poached. Other than that, the dining experience was great!

Rich M.

Yelp
Nice cozy breakfast spot, expansive menu and plenty of options to sub as well. Server mentioned they were wrapping a photo shoot for some breakfast entrees and had some leftovers from the shoot they offered my friend and I to go on the house! Dare I say Baller Square Cafe...

Jillian C.

Yelp
I've seen great reviews of this place and had to try it out for myself. There's a reason why there is always a wait here....but don't worry the manager Mike makes sure the line moves fast and happily engages with his customers. What I was most impressed about was the robust menu BSC offered with both standard and unique breakfast options. Both the food quality and service was outstanding.

Tyler C.

Yelp
Delicious breakfasts, some of the best pancakes I've had in a while and pretty good service. Most of the things on the menu are a decent price but I have to call out one thing. 12$ for a large orange juice!! I ordered it without checking the price and thought it must be a mistake just to look back at the menu and see the orange juice is really that price which I'm pretty sure that costed more then my actual meal. Other then that no complaints definitely come try it just no OJ in the world worth 12 bucks I'mma keep it 55th street

Ken D.

Yelp
I at here with some friends last Sunday. This seems like a good place if you like sweets since they have a vast variety of French toast and pancakes. When you arrive, there's nowhere to put your name in. You simply line up and they come out to you and ask how big your party is. You have to have the entire party present to be seated. I almost always judge a breakfast place by their corned beef hash,so of course that is what I ordered. I also ordered a side pancake because why not? The corned beef hash was a little better than canned. It had the same mushy consistency but seems to be a little less processed. Overall I wasn't too impressed. You have a choice of fried mashed potatoes or home fries. I tried the mash since it is pretty unique to this restaurant. I've never seen it anywhere else. It was definitely a nice experience. They basically take mashed potatoes and crisp them up on the grill. The pancake was okay. Not a typical fluffy buttermilk pancake that I'm used to. Overall there's a good amount of selection and the food is decent. You'll walk away full and satisfied, but probably not telling all your friends about it.

Peter P.

Yelp
There was a bit of a line to wait for a table on a Sunday afternoon. After our order was taken it took quite a while for our food to arrive. Our orders did not come at the same time, with mine being last. I had the eggs benedict with shredded crab meat and mashed potatoes. My entire dish was overcooked but I was too hungry from the wait to send it back. The eggs were completely solid, the toasted bread was soggy, and the mashed potatoes had a crust that was slightly too burnt. This dish may have been sitting out for a bit too long before being delivered... On a positive note, the Belgian waffle was superb - light, flavorful, with excellent crunch.

Sila R.

Yelp
Highly disappointed - we went there for the French Toast. It was named the best in Boston. The French toast was good but everything else was lack luster and left to be desired. My sons (2) and I spent $145.05 and was disappointed. The Entire order had something wrong but we ate it well tried and didn't complain. We didn't want to be the people who ordered lots of food and had an issue. We ordered pork we got turkey, we ordered chocolate chip pancake we got friend toast with Nutella, got home fries got mashed. This is after the server repeated the order 3x to us. The kitchen failed us. All the staff and servers were super nice. Probably will not visit there again. Too many errors but even though the French toast was wrong it was still bomb.....

Maynor R.

Yelp
I want to love this place! How can you not? Their service is A1. Their food was really good a solid 8.5/10. They had lots of delicious looking items on their menu. Here where they lose me though. Their prices are ridiculous. Outrageous honestly. For 3 people ended up with a bill of $110 (not including tip) WOAH in what economy does a large juice cost $12 alone? Lol that is a side dish cost right there. On their to go menu their large 20 oz juice cost $6.25. Guess In economy they think it is justified. Now look. I understand it's tough right now and everyone needs to make their money. This just doesn't sit right with me I think it's excessive. I can't support that and that just my personal opinion. I really did like the place otherwise! The only negative take away.

Greg V.

Yelp
Ball Square Cafe still hits it! Back in town again and had to stop by for Sunday brunch. The interior has changed quite a bit since my first visit years ago. The marble tables are gone and the decor is a bit more homey. However, the dining area is much bigger so many more tables can be served. The coffee is no longer self serve but is still good and strong. The orange juice is still fresh squeezed and delicious. I had the tri-berry French toast and a side of bacon. Still have to pay extra for real maple syrup but they do provide a generous amount. The French toast was awesome and a very large portion with plenty of fruit and great whipped cream.. The bacon was tasty but no longer the thick cut bacon they once had. My wife had the crab Benedict and enjoyed it thoroughly. Plenty of tasty crab. The hollandaise was very buttery though it could use more lemon. She really liked the fried mashed potatoes with it... a great combo of crispy and soft. My son had the berry waffles and a side corned beef hash. Both were very generous proportions. He still managed to polish it all off. He particularly loved the hash. Our server was very attentive and was quick to respond with our additional requests. The line to get in can still get long so arrive on the earlier side to avoid the wait. It would be nice to see them bring back the thick cut bacon and not charge extra for real maple syrup. Still worth the visit and I plan to come again the next time I'm in town.

Bogdana B.

Yelp
Incredibly busy over the weekend but it's a great place to have an all American breakfast or brunch! The service is no nonsense but fast and kind, the food is good so not bad if you fell like giving it a try.

Catherine M.

Yelp
A great breakfast place. There was a little bit of a wait, we went on a Sunday which was expected, but we were sat very quickly. They have a large menu, which all of their food looked so good it made it very had to choose. I had the Mexican omelet and it was great and such a large portion. My friend really talked up the fried mashed potatoes and they did not disappoint.

My-Linh D.

Yelp
I went on a Saturday morning for brunch and there was a lot of seating even though it seems like there were a lot of people. We were able to get a table indoors. They have a wide selection of items on the menu. I ended up getting an omelette and an eggs Benedict with a side of crispy bacon. The portions were big and very shareable. Pricing is pretty reasonable, closer to the high side.

Jeff H.

Yelp
I live this diner. Is everything I want in a breakfast diner. Wish it was closer to my home. Maybe I need to move next door.

Claire L.

Yelp
They don't give a number for waiting in line and mess up who really came first. Said 5 min and we can seat at the tables he is cleaning but then split tables into 4 seats and a table for two seats to seat 2 groups after us instead while five of us are here including 2 senior and 1 kid. Then one member of our party went out to move car to somewhere else where we can park for a longer wait as they gave the table out. The servers do not communicate to each other who is next customer in line, they only think the people talked to them are the first ones. We continued waiting, then the manager came out and I tried to communicate with him asking why they didn't seat us and he was so rude and lying saying we are jumping the queue which is bullshit and said he cannot break policy for us as we have 4 people instead of 5 are here. We were 5 people here while they split tables and gave out to others. And asked how long i waited because I said we waited long. He asked Did you wait 2 hours or 3 hours? No matter 30min is long or not, we waited longer than they told us. When we came no line at all and no one waited outside. There are still tables available for two people parties. And one server asked us to wait behind window as he is cleaning the table to seat in 5 min. It's not like we cut a line jumping into room or anything. Customers kept asking us whether it's ok to come in to tell server how many people in their party. And those people all get seated. Look at my previous comments. I don't know how many friends I have brought to this restaurant and posted how many instagram posts when we came. I admit the food is good but will not come here any more. And will tell friends too! The experience is awful. And it's not you hang a poster saying you are not discriminating anyone that you are really behaving the way you said. It's just a way for advertising to make more money like you splitting the table to seat more groups. Disgusting

Haley E.

Yelp
We got seated really fast for a Saturday morning but that was the only thing that was fast. We ordered relatively simple things so 45minutes felt long for three of us. The food was fine but relatively pricey. I probably wouldn't go again but I wouldn't be upset if i did go again.

Madison M.

Yelp
I can't imagine a better spot in Boston on a Sunday morning than Ball Square Cafe. It has all of the vibes of your local diner but high quality and delicious food. The plates are simple - don't get me wrong - but I'm a breakfast purist, so quality eggs and toast often are all I'm looking for. Highly recommend the French toast and gluten-free pancakes too.

Julia C.

Yelp
Absolute best brunch spot in the Boston area! Huge portions and most amazing French toast around

Steph G.

Yelp
Came for a late brunch a few days ago, and this place did not disappoint. We ordered the Athenian omelet with the grilled mash and a chicken avocado wrap with sweet potato fries. We loved it all, the fries were humongous. There's nothing fancy here, just quality standard meals. Would return if in the area!

Jordan S.

Yelp
The food was DELICIOUS! I mean seriously, talk about mouth watering. Whoever put the whipped cream on that iced mocha deserves one hell of a promotion. Can we talk about the scrambled eggs??? Scrambled to absolute perfection. I could barely walk after consuming all of this wonderful food, everything was SO fresh, there's still saliva dripping all over my shirt and it won't stop because I keep thinking about the food I just ate. Some of the prices seem a bit high, but trust me- the quality of the food is truly outSTANDING. The service was incredible as well. Someone in my party spoke to the owner to relay our satisfaction, I'll probably head to your house like just like soon as long as we don't try not to bed too Yeah yeah whatever works for you should do that. Maybe when we're hungry later jersey makes me either. I told my dad about my lot in my dad knows about Jersey Mike's from New Jersey. Oh it started up. Oh my god no it's like typing what we're saying. Sorry, as I was saying- everyone was so kind to us, very prompt and attentive throughout out dining experience at the ball cafe. I didn't even have to ask for a bus! The kind gentleman with the nice ring from Tiffany's asked me if I wanted one as soon as I was full, how did he know????????!!!!!?!!!!!?!? It doesn't make any sense. I love that man, as did all the folks in my party. The ambiance, good good stuff. Very patriotic, seems like leftover from Fourth of July, it is currently September 10th so that's a bit awkward but if that's their schtick, hey, who am I to judge? I am one for the people!! All in all this cafe blew my brains out in every way. I will never stop raving to all my loved ones and even my enemies. Thank you ball square cafe for changing my life. Maybe now I can get into Harvard.

Yelp
Ball Square Cafe is a must for breakfast whether you live in the area, or just visiting. Mike runs an amazing restaurant, and is the nicest! This place is always packed with a line, but you can grab your order to go if needed. Thank you for being so hospitable, and giving amazing customer service every single time. Duly noted.

Yelp
Food: The food was delicious, with large portions. I ordered the fit for a Queen with scrambled eggs, bacon, a croissant and Nutella banana French toast. I could not eat it all but certainly tried. My husband ordered fit for a king with scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage, blueberry pancakes and real maple syrup. Our 2 year had a fresh bowl of fruit! Service: The hostess was very welcoming, our waitperson was great, the employees overall were very pleasant! Ambiance: The inside is super cute and family friendly!

Yelp
I loveddd the Cowboy Benedict - filling, flavorful, & delicious if you like a steaky breakfast The Coconut French Toast is their popular sweet option - it was soft and the sauce was good & not too sweet. The portions are huge so it's great for sharing but you can also do half orders ‍

Yelp
Ok, maybe they have changed ownership? This place used to be delicious, hence three stars instead of one. First of all, we were seated in room 2, near the door. I have no idea why people are not directed to exit at the airlock door in room #1. We had to keep our coats on to keep from freezing. We ordered a Greek Salad ($9) without onions. We were presented with large hunks of rusty, wilted romaine covered in onions, with tasteless feta and tomato slices, and probably the worst dressing I've ever had. My Reuben ($14) was thin, nothing like the picture on the menu. Regular-sized slices of dark rye with maybe 3 oz of corned beef fragments, a thin slice of cheese, hardly any sauerkraut, no discernable Russian dressing. The waitstaff were friendly and quick on their feet, but the dining experience really could not have been much worse. Here's hoping my comments will help.

Yelp
Best Breakfast/Lunch place in NE hands down, Mike the owner wins the breakfast battle with anyone, everything on the menu is A+ as is Mikes personality! Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
Between Sound bites and Bell Liquor resides a heavenly treat ... Bell Square Cafe. You can sit outside if you like and listen to smooth jazz or go inside with ample space between tables. Service was friendly prompt and efficient. My friend had the meat lovers omelette and the portions are enormous and tasty. Mashed refried potatoes were very tasty. I went for Belgian waffle and was not dissatisfied... Rich vanilla flavor balanced against the malt flavor of the waffle was awesome. Crème fresh pulled all the flavors together. Great Job!
