Balloon Saloon did a terrific job for us on a St. Patrick's Day event for my company. Tiffany was extremely helpful in sending me all the options and pointed me in the right direction on my selections. I will use them again!

The team is super friendly and easy to work with, they really get what you’re going for and make it happen. Always a great experience.

Beautiful balloons and extremely professional, responsive (always replied to my emails immediately), and punctual with the delivery. Even gave me an extra 36” balloon just in case one popped. I HIGHLY recommend using Balloon Saloon if you want to add a festive flair to any event. I only have photos with people in front of the balloon column, otherwise I would post them.

Tiffany at Balloon Saloon was so helpful in preparing for my son and daughter in laws baby shower. She gave me ideas and suggestions. They were all PERFECT and looked AMAZING & BEAUTIFUL! Tiffany even followed up with me to see if everything worked out. That really touched home with me (how thoughtful) I would recommend them to everyone!!!!!!!

Ordered balloons the night before on a whim and they delivered next day exactly on time! Clarified a few details with a lovely employee the morning of. Great customer service and easy to use website.

Simply the best! You get what you pay for! Pricey but worth it! Use them for a company event and everything came out nice. Tiffany provided excellent customer service and accomodated all of our requests. Will definitely work with them again.

They treated me very poorly because I had an unlit cannabis cigarette in my mouth. Mind you, it’s absolutely legal to consume, carry and possess. Though, I understand as a business, they have every right to ask me to put it away. Instead, they immediately without question verbally accosted me, continued to shamed me as I apologized while put it in a container, and then still told me that I had to leave cuz I smell like weed. They literally made a public display based on their discriminatory attitude towards cannabis consumers. I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully in my life

Thank you Saloon Balloon! They made me beautiful clusters of balloons for my new restaurant opening. Very fast service, ready and delivered the next day. They have lasted a week already without deflating at all. Tiffany helped me meet my budget and designed beautiful arrangements.

Balloon Saloon delivered on a big order for a birthday party for my employer. They were super helpful--even though the order was pretty specific and I asked them to make substitutions. The balloons looked amazing and were a hit! Really appreciate all their hard work--especially during a busy time of year.

The prices here are astronomical and not worth the rushed experience, rude manager, and lack of assistance

Helium inflated foil balloons will last you about 3-4 days. Helium inflated latex balloons will last you about 12-15 hours. However, with treatment at $0.50 each, this can be brought up to about 2-3 days. This is what I've been told by the staff at the Balloon Saloon. The Balloon Saloon has been in business for at least 40 years and the staff here are pretty helpful and knowledgeable. This place has a wide selection of party supplies and vintage toys. Compared to Party City, the supplies here are more expensive, but regardless, it does have more unique selections. I haven't used their delivery or pickup service so this review is solely for the in-store experience.

Silver Mylar balloons are listed as lasting for several days indoors. Some of the balloons started to wilt in less than 48 hours and needless to say, the store did not particularly care. It was very disappointing especially because we spent over 400 on balloons.

The selection of balloons is really amazing and nowhere else to be found. I highly recommend if you're looking for something spectacular for that or birthday. This is your spot. I've been getting balloons here for years for my wine shop.

Super friendly and helpful staff with lots of funny gifts for friends and family! I stopped in to this shop today because i was struggling to find a gift for my friend's son. I went from not knowing what to get before walking in and couldn't decide between several options while looking around. Fortunately the lovely ladies at the counter were very helpful. I'll definitely be back for Christmas shopping! It's a pleasant surprise to find an independent shop in a sea of chain stores in Manhattan. I'll be back!

Anyone and everyone should get their balloons from here! I received the most excellent and extremely helpful customer service. The gigantic balloon design that I got exceed all expectations. It was exactly what I wanted... and then some. It was absolutely gorgeous and like nothing I have ever seen before. I will be returning for any occasion for sure. I am SO happy with my experience. Thank you, all! It has been almost 3 weeks and the balloons are still standing strong!

This is one of the greatest standing shops in nyc. Is it cheap? No. Does it have quality and unique shit you will not find anywhere else? Yes. For the peasants that are crying about the staff not being nice and not cradling your bougie bottom. Stop. For the free loaders complaining about the prices- go find your own helium and float up to the sky with your pesky voice. Or party city and cry in line. You want a beautiful product? Shut your eyes and your mouth and do the trade. Anyway. This place is pretty dope.

This was my First time here. They were Total jerks. Such a Bummer. Like I spoke to four people and all of them were rude. I'm so disappointed.

Been driving by this place for almost 20 years never have I stopped inside to check them out. Needed a balloon for my kids told my wife there's a place I drive by at work will go there.The staff was very helpful and kind and the place had a bunch of different options and has some old school stuff that reminded me when I was a kid.But I honestly felt like where they fall off is the price I know we're in the city and rents are crazy and I'm okay paying a premium for location but almost $50 for 2 balloons and a plastic mask seem way to much let's be honest how much does that stuff cost maybe under $10 all in ?

Their balloons are ok, but i don't think they are worth the price. I bought a Happy Birthday ballon and another big balloon with 3 or 4 small balloons inside it. total is about $50. i think it is too pricy The balloons did last a few days which is nice. but, I am googling search finding another place for my other kids' birthdays.

Lighten up your attitude Sharon! Callled just to inquire about helium on a few balloons but sharon wants to be rude and not even let me finish talking. I'll save my breath next time calling. Especially $10 just for the helium on one balloon. I'm good.

Best balloons in Manhattan. Great for birthdays. They know how to create for a birthday party and are quick and on time. Cannot recommend them enough!

Great store and offering but beyond frustrating to get a human on the phone and once you do they refuse to take an order over the phone. I would understand if it was 1800 flowers but this is an independent, physical store. Bummer

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Balloon Saloon! We ordered a 6-foot balloon garland for our son's 2nd birthday party and it far exceeded our expectations! It was so beautifully crafted and the attention to detail was just superb. Tiffany was incredible to work with and helped every step along the way to ensure we got exactly what we needed and more! HIGHLY recommend these guys. We will definitely be back!

I can't thank Tiffany and Sharon enough for the incredible decorating job they did at our son's party. Their creativity and expertise was even better once we saw the actual job than we even realized it would be when they were giving us ideas on what to do. We have used them several times before and each decorating job is better than the previous ones since they always come up with so many creative options. They did such a phenomenal job and I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

I purchased a balloon on 10/14/19 and it just won't die! We left for winter break thinking surely it would fall, but here it still stands. Thank you for helping us celebrate a birthday for many months!!

I went here to get balloons for my boyfriends birthday and was so happy to find the staff to be INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, POSITIVE AND KIND! They helped me figure out the number of balloons I could get that would fit inside the Uber. They helped me take them to the Uber and helped load them in. SO LOVED IT and the name is awesome too

I can't thank Tiffany and the Balloon Saloon team enough for their help with my husband's company event. The balloons were so beautiful and festive, we got so many compliments from our party attendees and passersby! From the quick turnaround time, to the prompt delivery/easy pick-up to accommodate both parts of our event, to the gorgeous decor, everything was absolutely perfect :) Would highly recommend Balloon Saloon for all your party needs, they are just fabulous!

Even though I don't live in NYC full time I have used Balloon Saloon for all our NYC family celebrations (a few per year x at least the last 10 yrs) & I really could not be happier! Their product is great & customer service the BEST (shout out to Tiffany ) To say that it is a bit daunting to be ordering a product online, sight unseen from 5000 miles away, would be an understatement, so to have them show up better than expected, with Tiffany answering any/all questions & concerns personally (& quickly), is beyond wonderful, it just doesn't get better than that..!! Thank you Balloon Saloon & Tiffany for helping make all our celebrations so special..!!

Balloon Saloon is standing proof that you can be successful by doing just one thing, however narrow that might appear. The balloon business is a niche that is a curious mix of physics and party planning, and Sharon at BS knows her s***. Having opened its doors thirty years ago, Balloon Saloon has built a formidable client base -- an enviable list of New York businesses, including some Fortune 100s--American Express, AT&T and Macy*s to name a few. Lehman was a client too and I am sure they had many a cause to celebrate, before their balloon diffused. Balloon Saloon has it all and does it all. From individual balloons to bouquets to bulk orders. Latex, mylar, you name it. They also have some delightful toys, books and decorations. They advice, customize and even deliver. J.Lo's anti-balloon policy notwithstanding (she refused a gift from Balloon Saloon), this is a Tribeca business that has helped bring joy to millions of New Yorkers over the years. If only I could find a calling that would allow me to build such a colorful legacy.

First and last time. The order came completely wrong. The young lady dragged the balloons inside the event when I told her it was facing the wrong way she said it won't be a problem. She steps out, comes back in with her Manager on the phone as per the email it was noted that the balloons should be facing the opposite way. Tiffany to face time so she can see how wrong it looked. Kept on going back and forth refusing to admit her error. On top of that, it came with a deflated balloon. Overpriced poor customer service.

Balloons are like flowers; expensive, decorative and very temporary. The staff here are wonderful and extremely helpful - basically the total opposite of the folks at Party City. They're open at 9am on Sundays and answer the phone when you call. I walked in to pick up helium tanks and they went and got them for me while I paid. While I didn't peruse much, it seemed like they had a ton of party favors, decorations and gifts to suit any fun-time needs you may have. It's not wal-mart - and you won't find corporate chain prices but I think the value of real selection and service far outweighs the couple bucks more you'll spend at Balloon Saloon.

Shady scammers sold me defective product refused to return. The price is 10 times retail then they don't stand behind the product. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this highly immoral business. Oh let me get this straight your rude and cold in person tell me there's nothing you can do but act like a business who actually cares about their customers on the internet? Give me a break I will never step foot in your store again and nobody else should either. Don't be fooled by the owners rhetoric on here this is not a moral business.

Loved, loved, loved the Balloons, BUT service was horrible. The lady on the phone gave me such a hard time about how I wanted my balloons delivered by 5pm. My dinner didn't start until 9pm, but I needed the balloons set up by 5:30pm b/c the restaurant starts serving other customers at 5:30pm. She argued back and forth with me on the phone about the delivery time, but then finally agreed to a 3:30-5pm delivery window. The balloons were not delivered until 5:40pm! I had my friends waiting at the restaurant at 5pm (to set the balloons up), but they couldn't set them up until 5:40pm & this delayed the owner from being able to attend to other customers. This is not acceptable, especially since there are TONS of other balloon places that we could order from. Had the balloons and customer service been better, I'd leave a 5 star review. I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but I'd feel bad if this type of service is given to another person on their big day. Balloons: - Ordered 50 balloons & two big lettered balloons - Looked amazing - Delivery was 40 mins late

For such a happy store, the service is incredibly unfriendly and dismissive. I have been a customer for the past decade so I blame myself with helping to support this business. I was looking to place an order for my daughter's birthday party and when I spoke with Sean, the "family business owner" he was snarky and incredibly rude. I asked him why he and some of his employees are so nasty to customers and his response was "you get what you give." I have been nothing but happy and friendly each time I have been in the store so the comment was absurd and incredibly uncalled for and I am 100% certain this is not the first time he has received this feedback... just read the reviews. There are more 1 star reviews than anything else and almost all of them are about the disgusting owner and store management and how they mistreat people. In addition, when he attempted to rectify his behavior by trying to help with my order, when I asked him a question about placing the order online with his very specific instructions, his response was "if you have spent as much money as you say you have in this store, then you would know how to do this." That is just vile. It's like he can't help himself but be nasty. This "family run business" is a sad staple in TriBeCa. It is a true example of the benefit of being the only game in the immediate neighborhood but I sincerely hope that people shop elsewhere. There are a ton of party stores in NYC that deliver now. And for the record- they ALL have the same exact assortment of balloons at literally 1/4 of the price. They also don't treat customers like they are disposable and unimportant. Forget about any acceptable level of customer service... I would say that these folks lack all human decency, period. Check out Party City. No one should be supporting this business. What a shame.

I wanted to give them 5 stars because the balloons were gorgeous and they basically MADE the dinner party decor feel like a party. However, the personnel inside the store were a little standoffish. I felt like I was bothering them while asking questions about the balloons and ordering them. I probably would have spent more money there if I felt like my business was being appreciated. Nonetheless, the balloons were great and prettier than I expected they would be and they were delivered on time with absolutely no issues. I even had to call back to change the delivery location and they changed it with no problems.

Great service even at the last minute! I ordered balloons twice in 2021 (including two days before New Year's Eve) and they did a wonderful job both times. Great selection and friendly staff.

This place is really really expensive. The customer service is lackluster at best, that is very true. As a local resident with procrastination tendencies, I find myself at the mercy of Balloon Saloon time after time again. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. However, If you are desperate for balloons and need delivery, and are willing to shell out an arm and a leg for the order - they are reliable. It's borderline extortion, but it is reliable. Most recently my family bought me balloons for my baby shower in April. It is now JUNE, and these balloons are still floating. Honestly, I really just wanted to share that. This is not a Yelp about the store as so much as it is a Yelp about these balloons. Just shy of 2 months and although they look hurt today - they were still afloat to welcome my baby home. It's like the Hanukkah of Balloon life up in my house! Ok that's it.

I would do zero stars if that were an option. I am hosting a pediatric cancer awareness charity event and asked the manager (Nick) if he could make an exception and allow me to pre-order 15 balloons (below their limit of 50) in advance for the event. I asked if he could deliver the balloons to the venue to help save time from me taking off work. The answer was no on all fronts. They have their "guidelines" and there were no exceptions. He was terribly rude. This is for a pediatric cancer charity event! What's wrong with them? Shame on this Balloon Saloon. They should be better than this. I am a local mother in the area and I refuse to show this store any business and you all should as well.

NO ONLINE ORDER! BAD SERVICE! Call and ask for the email(make sure things are exactly what I want) NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL! Gave me incorrect email address, I asked again and sent! No one reply since after two days!

They delivered balloons at an unauthorized time -- so my four year old saw them a day in advance of her birthday. When I voiced this to the manager, telling them their change in delivery time ruined the surprise, she actually started to argue with me instead of voicing any apology. This was after someone called me to confirm the specific delivery time the day before. Do not use them. I suggest Village Party Store or Balloon Shop NYC instead!

Not all their prices online reflect the actual costs (esp emoji latex balloons). So beware. Double check what you're purchasing. And despite being a Party Store, they're very sour on the phone when you're asking for clarification.

They call themselves the most fun store and they do pack a myriad of fun into a small space. The staff will guide you through the aisles and they know every detail that will make your venture into a party store successful. I am also pleased with the prices.

Balloon Saloon:Party City = Whole Foods:Costco More simply put - you wouldn't buy a 48-pack of toilet paper, a 12-lbs box of cookies, and a pack of 200 paper plates at WF... for the same reason you wouldn't go to BS [no shade] for 200 balloons and a bunch of pricey toys and props for a party that's gonna last less than three hours. First of all, yes, This place is very expensive but that's why it's perfect for last minute things that you forgot to purchase at Party City (where you bought 99% of the items for your event); definitely Not for fulfilling All your shopping needs. BS has a lot of options that are very good quality so the worry does not stem from the fear of wasting $20 on a crappy chocolate coin... it just stems from the fact that you have to spend that much in the first place. [totally exaggerating by the way... or am I?] The staff is very friendly and always willing to help find something for you if you're lost. Which you might need the help because upon entering is like being in a whole new world. So many different things everywhere you turn... it's a bit overwhelming but so cool at the same time.

I picked up some balloons to celebrate my fiancé's promotion. As SOON as I got home, all but 1 popped. I called the store to ask them to deliver some replacement balloons, and they would not. The manager was extremely rude and said because I bought them in the store, I would have to come back to the store in person. I said I can't make it there tonight - nor is it my fault that they have faulty products - and she suggested I send an uber to pick them up at my own expense. What horrible, appalling customer service.

Balloon Saloon does excellent work... Beautiful! However, if you want to tip. DO NOT add the tip via credit card the owner does not pass on to the guys who create these stunning designs, deliver or do set up. If you want to thank them for their services, cash in hand. FYI she owns the building, so high rents is not a reason.

Cute little shop! I agree with the other poster who said some of the items weren't appropriate for kids, so make sure you keep them close when browsing. The staff was very friendly, which I don't always expect from stores in NYC.

Baloons are always about joy. Not a single balloon in the world is about unexpectedly and unreasonably badly spoiled mood. This store could claim to be the ROUGHEST establishment in New York. Our foot will never be there again, despite the fact that we left substantial sums of money in this store in the past.

I always wondered how such a store could exist in this location. After two years in the area I went in to find a favored children's classic book. I learned that the shop sells adult gag gifts as well as toys. Very creative. So, I bought "Goodnight Moon" and "Goodnight Keith Moon"

Beyond rude. I have never left a review for any business before but felt compelled to do so here. Went by this morning to make a large order for my son's birthday party - was told they were too busy to take an order and that I'd have to come back. Came back one hour later and then was told they cannot take balloon orders at all during the weekend and that I should come back during the week. Neighborhood resident, 100 percent lost my business and will not recommend to anyone.

We used Balloon Saloon to help create some impactful displays at our wedding this past weekend. I found their staff (particularly Tiffany) to be incredibly helpful and consultative in helping us design the right design for our event. We ended up with a large 11' partial arch and a ton of loose balloons. If I had just gone in myself, it wouldn't been super plain. Tiffany helped us to really liven up the piece with glitter balloons, various sizes, and convinced me to expand our color palette, which ended up working out beautifully! Delivery and setup was right on time and super seamless. The guy that did the setup (I forget his name unfortunately) was lovely to work with and did an incredible job. I couldn't have asked for a better experience or outcome :)

Great balloons but people working there are just AWFUL !!!!! I went to the store to buy balloons for my girlfriends bday, i put them in a car, came home and they were all half dead. Car ride took max 15 min. I called the store and they said it's my fault and i can bring them back and they will change them. I didn't have time to be stuck in traffic again. I asked them to deliver new balloons, they said absolutely not and hang up on me 3 times. So RUDE! I spent 100 dol on 4 balloons. NEVER GOING BACK!

Excellent customer service & great products . The staff is cooperative , friendly & efficient. Try them ...they are the best for any occasion, big or small !
