Gov. Steve Sisolak’s appearance at a Las Vegas restaurant with live entertainment sparks debate, ire | Eater Vegas

I've read reviews after I booked my room. Good thing I only stayed to shower and sleep for a few hours. I couldn't stay here for more than a night. Check-in was super fast. The front desk clerk was very knowledgeable of the area. There's a lovely bar located right across the front desk, but I didn't get a chance to use it. There was a little bit of a weight for the elevators, but not that big of a deal. You have to scan your room card for the elevator to work. That's a plus. The hallway on my particular floor had tape on it and that was a turn off. The room was dated. The table in the room where one would usually eat something had crumbs stuck in the crevices. See pics. I slept well. The shower water pressure was average. The toiletries they provide was average. They provided a large amount of towels and that was good. The bed was comfortable. My view was horrible. When I come to Atlantic City again, I will never stay at Bally's. Security in the lobby were all friendly people. Parking was great. For $10 a night, you can't beat that compared to other hotels in AC.

Enjoyed our stay here at Ballys, hotel itself is ok but could use some improvement with answering guest needs, stayed here 3 days and needed towels and trash picked up, no one answers phones, so you have to go downstairs to front desk and still just hope and pray you get what you need. Lots of smoking inside hotel casino area so I stayed away from there, had my lil one so did not like that at all. location is great…we did have nice view and direct access to a beautiful beach, very walkable with food, drinks and several venues for shopping. Walked up and down the boardwalk very fun.

Stayed in the Balley's Tower with the sea view/boardwalk view in mid-week in early October. Still good weather and stuff to see/do on the boardwalk, but not everything was open. Older rooms (fraying carpet at the edges, dripping water faucets), but very clean and well laid out/spacious. Good water pressure and temperature control. Hot water smelled slightly of burning, so maybe time to upgrade to boiler? Solid 3 star hotel experience.

I usually never leave a review, however this was a very different trip. So many things went wrong. But the biggest problem I have is I stayed at Ballys the 19-22nd and on the very first night my car was broken into. The person stole 3 pairs of shoes totalling $1000, my NOCO Car jumpbox which was another $400 and my Beats studio3 headphones. Its not as important but they also stole my weed and papers (i dont really care about that). I realized in the morning and reported it straight to security. Their was no sense of urgency or care regarding it. It was like a shrug on the shoulders. Of course they will do their “report” and get back to me. I was pissed that morning because I knew that nobody cared except me because its my stuff. But I went on with my day and said it wont ruin the trip. Well I returned to the hotel and at 6:30pm me and my gf was in the car someone tried to yank as hard as they could on my door to get inside. couldnt see me inside because of my tinted windows and windshield). And when he realized he couldnt get in he moved on to the next car and the next one. Tugging on any door that would let him in. This is less than 24 hours from the original incident, so this time Im even more pissed as I went to security because its like wtff. And AGAIN no sense of urgency. And, Still they can’t do anything. Now Im usually easy going and tell myself its all materialistic as long as im safe thats all that matters so I tried talking to the staff about what could be done to make this right. Again this is the second time in less than 24 hours, I was told they wouldnt reimburse or offer anything complementary or anything, not that they couldnt but they wouldnt. At the very least not a complementary night, or complementary valet parking or nothing at all. I don’t know if its because Im a little younger, but they treated me as if it was all my fault with no hospitality and I am staying under their roof as a guest. Its been days since, and I havent heard any update or anything not even “the investigation came up short” or anything to even let me know they tried. Ive never felt so disappointed, angry, and unsafe while staying at a hotel. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO BALLYS, AND WILL RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO STEER VERY CLEAR AWAY FROM BALLYS.

Rooms are dark and back to the 70's requested a wheelchair accessible room but you can't even turn around in wheelchair very small and not accessible! Then we went the restaurant on the 6th floor and they weren't accommodating at all for a wheelchair user and someone who is on a blended diet, after they tried to put us in a booth that wouldn't work for us they put us in the dining area that was closed and forgot about us I ordered a beer and a water and after a half hour still didn't get it, them someone else came over to take a drink order and have bread and didn't see that person again, so after about an hour of nothing and still waiting for a beer got up and left. Then we went to the food court area to at least get a sandwich, got a "homemade meatball sandwich" it was horrible and right out of a box and cold. Also the whole hotel casino area is very dark and no signs to let you know how to get to an elevator. Don't recommend to go to this place never again! Just horrible

The front desk staff was very pleasant, and I appreciated that. The room offered a lovely side view of the ocean, and the furniture, bedding, and jacuzzi tub, were all nice touches. While the hotel shows some signs of age in certain areas, it still provides good value overall. However, I found the dining options to be somewhat limited, with not many restaurants to choose from. It might be beneficial for the hotel to consider expanding their food offerings for an even better guest experience.

Go to Oceans, pitch a tent on the beach, sleep behind the Dollar General, all will br a better experience than this hole in the time space continuum. A homeless person would run from this place in a blizzard. Spend your well/hard earned money else where.

This property is terrible. We went to a wedding 20 minutes from this hotel and decided to stay here for 2 nights so we could gamble and attend the wedding. The casino floor is a terrible experience, and OMG the staff and service are the worst I have ever seen in my life. The staff here are depressed and pushy. They were practically harassing us for tips. The craps table staff are some of the worst I’ve ever seen, completely miserable, yelling at players just because they wanted to learn the game. This was by far the worst gambling experience of my life. The casino floor is dirty, full of people laying around asking for money. For the first time ever, I saw hustlers at the craps table, people trying to take advantage of players and steal their chips. There were three of them, and not one staff member did anything. Another player and I had to step in once we realized what was happening. Everything about this place was bad, from the moment we arrived until the minute we left. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. I’m not exaggerating. The saying “you get what you pay for” does not apply here, this place is terrible, unsafe, and full of scams. You’ll see it all over the casino floor. If you do stay here, keep your eyes open at all times and be extra careful in the bathrooms too—not just because of the staff, but because of the people hanging around.

Yelp
Smooth process from the valet to check-in, seriously, one of the easiest hotel arrivals I've had in AC. Stayed in the renovated tower and the room was really nice. Modern, clean, and surprisingly comfortable. The Carousel Bar was a highlight, laid-back vibe, solid drinks, and yes, it actually rotates (which was way cooler than I expected). Definitely worth a stop for a drink or two. Cons: I felt there were fewer table games than other casinos nearby, which made it tricky to play some of my go-to favorites. Didn't get to try any of the restaurants, but chatting with other guests, reviews seemed mixed. Overall, great spot for a quick getaway -- smooth experience, nice rooms, and a fun bar scene, even if the gaming options felt a little limited.

Yelp
My only gripe was the clogged linear drain in the shower. As soon as I turned on the water, the shower pan started to pool. I lifted the stainless steel cover and, sure enough, it was unsightly--full of debris and hair. It definitely needed a thorough cleaning and a dose of Draino. That said, I really appreciated the convenient beach access. Unlike the Tropicana, which makes you wind through a maze of casino floors, this spot makes it quick and easy to go back and forth between the beach and your room. Looking forward to returning for some Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em (since there's no dedicated card room), and maybe trying my luck on the $3 electronic roulette.

Yelp
This hotel is terrible, the rooms were dirty, I went to the bathroom just to see a bit of mold on the shower and dust in the vent. The mini refrigerator doesn't even work, and the food went bad. Whatever you do, Ocean is the best place to go. Update I was trying to call my brother then I found a broken phone

Yelp
1 person working rewards desk.. stood in line 45 minutes to get a rewards card .. ridiculous

Yelp
Place is dated and empty in the casino. It's sad that it once was a booming business. My friend and i booked the same type of room. Mine was old and gross hers was new and redone. Request a renovated room. Bell hop was not friendly but the guest service ls was. They need to consolidate the space. No need for everything to be so spread out-with so much unused space. Brighten it up! Improve the beach bar food menu. So hard to find something healthy. Get a juice bar!

Yelp
Atlantic City is definitely in a downward turn right now and this all can't be blamed on online gaming or casinos closer to some people like Resorts World or Pennsylvania casinos but overall the quality of the place got bad. The overall gamblers that come here are down significantly in the past year or so. Anytime I walk through Wild Wild West, it is usually a ghost town. overall, prefer not to come back definitively in the near future. Hard Rock Hotel, Harrah's or even Tropicana are more popular hotels and have a lot more foot traffic playing there or actually staying in the casino.

Yelp
Delicious Omelette! The potatoes were tasty, as well. Another bonus was we could walk here from Caesars without going outside. Our server Tom was very friendly and quite fun to talk to. We'll be back!

Yelp
This Bally's location makes the one in my home state look like the Taj Mahal. It looks like time froze in 1999 but they did have an absurd amount of games and probably paid best out of the several heavy hitters amongst the board walk.

Yelp
My experience at Bally's was so-so. While parts of the stay were great, other parts were less than ideal. The location of Bally's is very convenient (on the boardwalk, close to the beach, multiple casinos within walking distance). The casino in Bally's was also one of the ones I most enjoyed on our trip. However, Bally's lacked in some areas. Breakfast options were extremely limited and we found ourselves looking for meals and non-casino related entertainment elsewhere. Our room was also slightly dirty when we arrived (some hair/hair ties on the floor of the bathroom and shower, for example). We also did not get our room cleaned during the day and had to request more towels. Overall, I found Bally's to be suitable for our short stay, but I don't think I would rush back.

Juliette X.

Yelp
It smelled like wet dogs/food, the bathroom was alright, the water kept turning cold and we got a different room. The people who cleaned our room did a terrible job they put my pillows on the couch. There was no Bibles! Dont come unless you want a uncomfortable sleep.

Selyna J.

Yelp
What could improve? The rooms and hallways to the rooms, very outdated & nasty. Smells like wet mildew mixed with cigarettes and old people.

Keith B.

Yelp
Hey just want to give everybody a heads up stay away from Bally's online casino their customer support is terrible when there's a problem or you have a question you'll be directed to a chat but from there you'll be asked a lot of questions and you'll be sitting there forever I can definitely tell you this is the truth it's happened to me more than five times now in my opinion I think it's intentional they figure you'll just forget about it and go away this is not a lie this is a warning stay away.

Yelp
the front desk person was curt and could care less about anything I had to say. I asked for the manager and he was atrocious! He acted like I had no right to ask a question, no smoke , no greeting and then said you got what you ordered and walked away! Well I will go to the top u til people are retrained.

Yelp
Customer service and basic necessities such as air conditioning and water temperature regulation. My wife burned herself in the shower cuz it was either scolding hot or ice cold. The air conditioning didn't work either. Told the check in staff, which couldn't care less. Said they would send up maintenance. Fixed the shower, but not the air conditioning. Do not stay in Dennis tower. Thank god for my wife. She really kept a positive attitude because it was our anniversary trip for the year. But hey, you don't know about a place and its services until you go. Hopefully this review helps others avoid the same fate we had.

Yelp
UPDATE: got rooms here for about 10 years because I have to travel for work in that area regularly. I booked four nights and after a few days went to the front desk to extend for another night. I was told to my face that I could extend the same room to include a fifth night. The next morning my guest and I got kicked out. The female manager that responded to this situation was very rude, and did not care about what happened at all. They acted like it was our fault that their own front desk employee misrepresented the situation. We made vacation plans around the extended day. Why would we just stay in a room a day late and expect nobody to notice? Lol. After 10 years or so of spending money in this place, I'll never go back. Very disappointed.

Yelp
It's sad that it's so empty and lifeless. Check in was long and complicated. The room had no accessible outlets to plug chargers. We had to move the bed to find them. The staff is not friendly and they all looked miserable. I don't think I'll stay there again. They really need to do something to get more people in.

Yelp
Ballys has some great staff in security and gaming however the management is unresponsive and provides no leadership. I frequent other Bally's properties and that's not the case. Regarding a quick bite while here... Carluccio's I have seen this place on multiple visits to Ballys, I have waited at the counter sometimes 20 minutes without even being acknowledged multiple times, there is a guy making pizza he ignores you and sometimes a counter person that is packing stuff going in the back frequently and she ignores customers even when they nicely say excuse me where do I order. Many customers leave frustrated after waiting. I myself have. I finally got the attention of the guy cooking, he took my order, I nicely said please do not make it too hot, just quick warm, there were no other customers, I also asked about using Apple Pay and adding a tip. The slice of mediocre to bad "Sicilian gourmet" according to the receipt, never had thin crust Sicilian but it was a honey chicken slice was heated to extreme heats, the information about paying and tipping was inaccurate. So much for looking good, it was horrible pizza at extreme prices. I requested he leave room in my strawberry lemonade so I could add water not liking things too sweet, he didn't do that. Just close before you go bankrupt. Or maybe, just maybe hire a manager that trains employees and maintains quality service standards. I am a high level casino guest and asked at the Bally's front desk how to contact their manager, they gave me a number for the assistant manager of outlets. I spoke with them and they were going to have the Director, I believe a Jerry contact me. That never happened. Not a good look for Ballys or Carluccio's!

Yelp
We were in the dreaded Dennis Tower. Room had stains. The hallway carpets looked like a murder had taken place. Dangerous lamp with missing plug, light switch toggle was finicky for separate light over the bed. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. I'm enclosing a picture of our view. Staff (particularly the parking lot attendant) were patient and kind.

Yelp
Do not recommend! Visited from Florida. Immediately knew it was a mistake as they charged $10 to park for guests! Got out of car on 2nd floor garage and it stunk like stale urine! Headed to check in and passed out bum was near elevators. Checked in and paid for 2 nights, huge RESORT FEES, jacked up room costs! Got to room in Bally's Tower. Room was dated but nice view of ocean. Called for room service and immediately learned no room service except on weekends. Then, we went to indoor pool and gym for a workout and swim to be told they are closed no Mondays and Tuesdays! Totally no resort but they rip you off for resort fees!!! This is a Rip Off! Will never be back and will inform everyone I know that Bally's seems to have become a bottom feeder in my opinion! I was ripped off and it ruined our romantic getaway with no room service, no pool, no gym available

Yelp
Booked a NON smoking room.after checking in, go to room which reeks of smoke. The smoke detector had a bag around it. Called the front desk, called housekeeping no response for about one hour. Totally dated and run down hotel youre better off at a motrl

Maria

Yelp
For the money you spend for a night this was a nightmare. First when entering the room stank like mildew, called front desk they sent someone with a spray bottle to spray the bathroom, not allowing us to keep the air freshener and we noticed the thermostat was broken, we froze. Then we went to get a shower, the shower head and faucet ran at the same time and tub stopped up while we showered. Then the toilet made a screeching noise and ran for like 3 minutes before shutting off, then I had to call for blankets they gave us 1 so we froze when we returned after being told at front desk they would adjust the temperature, didn't happen. Then leaving we noticed the elevator shaft was exposed while the door was shaking the entire 42 floors down which I don't believe it was 42 floors....this place needs a complete make over and it definitely wasn't worth the $300+ per night.

Yelp
Review of Bally's Atlantic City Casino & Hotel - Stay Dates: 8/3/2025-8/5/2025 On 8/3/2025, my family of four checked in for a two-night stay. After settling in, we attempted to take the kids to the pool, but were told it's restricted to ages 21+ due to alcohol service. There were no alternative kid-friendly pool options, no access to sister properties, and no accommodations offered. Disappointing for the kids, though we made the best of it with beach time. The real reason for this review is the poor customer service--especially from the parking garage attendant on 8/4/2025 at approximately 11:45-11:50 AM. When we tried to exit self-parking, the attendant did not greet us or show any willingness to help. I presented my player's card, but he demanded $10. I explained I had free parking, which seemed to frustrate him. He repeatedly insisted on payment, refused to swipe my card, refused to check my offers, and stated he could not charge my room. At the time, I didn't have my wallet or cash and explained we were staying another night. I offered to go to the front desk to resolve it, but he refused to lift the gate. Instead, he forced the four cars behind me to reverse, told me to back up, and made it clear I could not leave without paying. The tone was hostile, intimidating, and unprofessional. Inside the casino, front desk staff quickly explained I could use the kiosk to print a free parking ticket--simple information the attendant could have easily shared instead of creating an embarrassing scene. When I returned with the printed pass, he silently raised the gate. No greeting, no apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience. The kicker? On 8/5/2025, while exiting the same garage, the gate was left wide open and there were no attendants at all--everyone left for free. If it's that easy, why was I blocked, embarrassed, and treated so poorly the day before? This stay left a bad taste due to the unnecessary hostility, lack of hospitality, and inconsistent operations. I cannot recommend this hotel

Yelp
It depends on the tower I been coming to Bally's for 17yrs even when they reopened with covid lingering I was one to patronize them immediately today was the first time that I smelled a room smelling like a dog was in the room clearly one was.they're so worried about smoking but this dog smells is over whelming it smells like somebody picked up crap but didn't clean it afterwards my daughter is a dog owner so I do know the difference when you don't clean it and you just pick it up I was later this room still smells like dog

Yelp
I spent last weekend at Bally's Atlantic City Hotel and It was terrible. The room was awful. It was disheveled. The furniture was in horrible condition. The shower was not acceptable, there was not a handheld sprayer for proper cleaning. The Safe did not work. The refrigerator did not work. And the room and halls reeked of smoke. No toilet paper in the bathroom. Couldn't get anyone on the phone to bring some up so we had to go down to the front desk to get it ourselves. For the price we paid for this room. This is totally unacceptable. Please do not go to this hotel. We could've given them no stars we would give no stars. To the management of Bally's, get your act together or close. Your brand is so recognizable, we chose to stay here because of that. . You should be ashamed of the condition of this location.

Lisa H.

Yelp
I would never stay here again. If there is no plan to renovate the rooms in the Dennis Tower, then this part of the hotel should be closed off. Management should be ashamed of themselves charging the amount of money that they do for these rooms. Not only is the atmosphere dated and depressing, there was a horrible stain on the curtain, the refrigerator leaked, and there was a good amount of dust.

Alexa B.

Yelp
Do not stay here!! Visited for the first and last time this July 4th weekend. Found a deal on Hotel Tonight. I've had great luck in the past. However, this place is an absolute dump! I'm not much of a casino person but, we were in town to see a band. Walking into the casino it looked like something out of bad 1980s movie. I knew we were in for it when the lobby itself was filthy, and staff offered zero hospitality. Arrived at 1pm and waited until 4 to check in because they were sold out. The self check in kiosks didn't work at all. Tried three times. It took over an hour and half in line to finally check in. They had one person working the front desk for over half an hour! On the 4th! We were then informed that we would be in the dreaded Dennis Tower that hasn't seen a facelift for at least 30 years! Apparently they've only updated the Bally's tower which is what pictures Hotel Tonight uses on their website. We finally check in and get inside our room....my husband and I almost fell over. It smells, it is dirty, it is dark, many things are broken. With it being 4th of July at the shore and if this hotel is sold out GOOD LUCK. We knew we didn't have much choice other than to tough it out and stay put. It was honestly the worst hotel room I've ever stayed in. The air quality was terrible in our non smoking room. Security is lacking. I didn't feel safe walking to my room alone. A lot of creeps milling around. They really shouldn't be selling these rooms at all. I'll never go to another Bally's property again and definitely not Atlantic City.

Yelp
Gym doesn't open until 10am and only Thursday to Sunday. Very limited restaurant options. I was forced to eat at Johnny Rockets which was nasty between 2-4. Long, slow lines at the Dunkin in the lobby. Lobby/Casino depressing. Felt dangerous. Parking lot smells of urine. Like a lot of urine. Front desk lady was nasty and not accommodating. $25 for early check in when the hotel was absolutely dead. No desk for working (in a suite)!

Yelp
This is one of many reviews that I've done on the Bally's Casino in Atlantic City.. Every time I go there and that's sometimes once a week (what a drive from NYC) more things happen that I want to share... Like stated in the last review of the Bally's I mentioned one of the casino managers Paul Regan, I need to point out that whenever Mr. Regan sees me it always comes with a hearty hello and a nice firm handshake. I've been told he's like this to many people who he comes in contact with, which makes him an excellent rep for the Bally's.. I even told the main casino manager Peter this and as it turns out he too is an awesome guy.. There's renovations going on here and more high end places to eat (steak places). I try to come on week days easier to find a table to play blackjack. And it's easier to get to know some of the fabulous dealers that the Bally's has. Jane has been working here from the start... She's fantastic and has a great attitude and vibe.. Jane roots for the players and is really happy at their wins.. Robin is a new dealer and I hope she stays here for a long time... Great attitude and has a great rapport with her players... I even came here on a Tuesday morning to play as she mentioned that she was working but to my dismay she happened to be off that day. Which meant I was able to sit at Russell's table an excellent dealer who like the others that I mentioned really roots for the player. I remember a few times that he had a blackjack he gave me a sad nod... Other casinos have some good dealers but I seriously feel that Bally's (although no gold plated walls or big waterfall displays) The Bally's has Heart and a Soul.. similar to the 1982 sitcom Cheers, Where everybody knows your name... and that's how I felt today there at The Bally's!!

Yelp
Stayed at Bally's for the first time for a few days (Thursday - Saturday) in December, and the room was unpleasant but the entertainment around the casino was fun. Extremely disappointed by the upkeep of an older hotel room. My friend invited me to the Christmas party that her job held. From my understanding, it seems that the group information that was sent to the employees was for Bally's older tower rooms. The first room that we were given was disgusting. While I lysoled the bed and peeled down the sheets, I noticed hair intertwined in the sheets. The bathroom's floor was dirty, and there was hair in the tub. We called the front desk on the room's phone; they never answered, and we inconveniently went back to the front desk to express our frustrations. The front desk person gave us another room. The second room was possibly a step up from the last room, but still not okay. There were holes in the sheets, and it looked like some initial letters were written on them. The shower didn't want to stay on when you pulled up the lever, and when it finally worked (after much twisting, turning, and pulling), the water filled up in the tub while you were taking a shower...ewww! I've experienced staying in older hotel rooms in AC at another casino, and the preservation of them was commendable. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for Bally's. During my stay, I enjoyed the rotating bar, grabbing lunch from Johnny Rockets, there was some delicious pizza at the food court, watching my friend play roulette lol, and the beautiful display of Christmas decorations (inside and outside). Also, the staff that I did encounter was helpful and nice.

Kay-Kay R.

Yelp
There is many red flags about this hotel however I will only discuss this issues. First off, this huge mystery stain on the mattress. There was not aplastic mattress cover to protect this stain which made me even more disgusted. I have no clue what this could or may be and I have no interests in finding out but thing is completely unsanitary.

Yelp
Most of the negative reviews for this property are for rooms in the Dennis Tower. I have stayed in the newly-renovated Bally's Tower about 5 times and have only had pleasant experiences in these rooms as they are clean and updated. The valet and bell services team have been on-point during every stay - they pick up the phone almost immediately and are quick to help you out. Housekeeping services for towel delivery need to be more consistent. The property's sit-down restaurants are inconsistent. They seem only to be open when they feel like it, or when the management can figure things out to open to the public (except for the Chinese restaurant in the casino). I understand that restaurants may be closed during the week in the "off-season," but almost all were closed on a Sunday without staff knowing about it. The Beach Bar is fun in the summer with live music, and the same goes for the Carousel Bar in the lobby where they sometimes have a DJ. I always see a lot of security here which is great. I would recommend staying here ONLY in the Bally's Tower.

Yelp
I used to like going to Bally's but now Bally has changed a lot machines got much tighter much tighter and now they have new rules that is aware of for example if you're a good player, but you're not there at least 2 to 4 hours you're not entitled to any free play or gift giveaway and then I had said where is it at? Show me that in writing of course they didn't. They lost a lot of people. I walked through a couple of times and is empty. Bally's is really going downhill. I never thought in a million years I would see this ! Of course I don't stay there no more so I can't tell you how the rooms are now but if you walk through that, you could really tell a difference just in the atmosphere alone

Yelp
Hi Ballys .. please unclog and snake all your shower and sink drains. Eowwww. Otherwise a fine visit concerning location and access to beach and restaurants. Nice pool. Hire a handyman to fix hinge on fridge door and toilet knob 3rd floor room #36-. Thx!!

Yelp
I cant believe how dirty this place looks. I would say it's about equal to best western or motel 6. Maybe I'm wrong but I thought bally's was supposed to be a nice hotel. Don't waste your money on this dump. You definitely do not get what you pay for here.

Yelp
The room wasn't what we expected. The pictures from the website definitely needs to be updated and they should also tell you which room you're being booked in. This room was in one of the towers. When the receptionist saw what room we booked her facial expression changed which made me think that the room wasn't nice. The room was small, and the bathroom was dark, and the tub had seen better days. The shower head needed to be cleaned and descaled so its pressure was poor. The iron had some melted material on it and was a task getting off of it. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the hotel or the amenities inside. The only good thing was the food area that stayed open until 2 in the morning. I wouldn't recommend staying here but if you can afford to maybe book a nicer room, maybe your experience will be better than mine. The room was a little over seven for the two days we stayed before the summer season officially started by the way.

Yelp
I stayed at Bally's Atlantic City during my visit a couple of months ago. I've stayed at the Bally's in Las Vegas before, and the two are pretty different. Bally's Atlantic City has been around since 1979, but some parts of the hotel have been around longer. We stayed in the Dennis Tower which used to be the Dennis Hotel many years ago back in 1906. The rooms are definitely outdated and it looks like it popped out of the 70s. I guess that's part of its character. They are doing renovation to the hotel and the Bally's Tower is newly updated with nicer rooms I heard. My room was just ok, it had an odd layout. The TV was quite far from the bed so make sure you bring your glasses if you need it haha. There would have been a nice view from my room but the windows needed some deep cleaning or replacement. The pros to the hotel is that is low cost and it has a good location on the boardwalk. There's also a Dunkin' Donuts conveniently located near the lobby. The hotel is within walking distance to the shopping outlets and the greyhound bus station.

Yelp
The staff behind the scenes are in this business because they are shady. I had a "specialist" working on an issue I had in the fraud department. Spoke with the same woman again... Had it escalated TWICE. Never got a call back, never resolved the issue. She was rude and brushed me off. I will be seeking legal action.

Yelp
This was the most disappointing hotel I have ever stayed at. Upon check in we went to our room and discovered hair in the bath/shower and mold. We were moved to a different room. Same issues. Hair on the bed and sheets and this time our comforter had blood stains on it. The bathroom vent was covered in dust. This place is filthy and not worth it at all. Edit: to top it off we just woke up to realize the fridge in our room is not working so all of the food we ordered from Morton's last night was not kept cold and is no longer edible. Terrible experience all in all.

Yelp
Lady at the check in so mean bruh. Not helpful or welcoming. This place is dirty.i would not pay for this .staff is so weird, literally is the twilight zone. Rooms are nice, but i understand why this place has 2 stars. You'd be dumb to stay here In AC out of all other options.

Yelp
I'm staying in Dennis Tower and the loud rock band that's playing in the hotel's bar until 2 AM, sounds like it's in my room. They don't have other rooms on the other side of the hotel, and they said they can only offer me earplugs and a $25 credit. I guess if you plan to return to your room after 2 AM it would be ok. I feel it was wrong not to tell people they were booking a band in their room until 2 AM.

Yelp
Don't stay here unless you can guarantee you're in the Bally tower. We arrived for Memorial Day weekend and went to our room via an old elevator that brought us out onto our floor that literally had stains all over the carpet and walls. This continued into our hotel room. The room had stains everywhere, mold, broken furniture and door jams, and the light covers were coming off. We called the front desk and we're moved to another room. They ended up taking less than 5% off of our bill, even though the second room still had mold and was a little dirty. If this hotel had been it's usual $50-100 per night I would have been less concerned, but because we were in town during an event and Memorial Day weekend, we paid so much more and really regret staying here. Chris at front desk was a nightmare and super rude during check out when I spoke to her about all of the concerns.

Yelp
I came to the casino today to gamble just a smidge but mainly to have lunch I won't lie lol. Johnny Rockets is my must to while staying in Atlantic City. Still gives off that child nostalgia when coming here. It's located on the boardwalk in the lobby of the casino. My favorites are my Cheese fries and a nice Cheeseburger with everything.. Don't forget my fountain soda and a milkshake don't judge me.. lmaooo

Yelp
Need more people at check in. Check out no one knew what to do and long lines at 3 self checkout kiosks with no one to assist you. Dunkin in lobby slow and can't handle the rush. Security in casino was rude. My room sounded like I was in the beach bar all night. Could hear the loud music very clear till 2am. Weird frosting on windows so cannot look out your window. Unless you use valet be prepared to park and walk far with no luggage cart.

Yelp
I enjoyed my leisure experience in Bally's AC. I needed a few days away from NYC so I decided to book a room for two nights a few days ago on a weekday. Price was reasonable including Ballys resort fees, the self-parking fee was cheap only paid $10 for the two nights. The check-in process at Bally's was smooth and quick, also the staff was friendly. I reserved the Dennis Tower room and my room was clean overall, only minor issues there was that small amount of mold on the shower curtains (mainly on the lower area) and some stains on the cloth chair. The bed in the Dennis Tower was comfy with clean sheets. I have to point out the room was kinda outdated but it is what it is, at least the room was quite. Went to gym and pool, both were good (a few gym machines were out of order though). Now for the entertainment, the slots and table games were fun. 20% of the table games were open (assume more open up on the weekends), it's didn't bother me though I'm just pointing it out. Ballys do have a homeless people problem, I seen them begging on the casino floor and some were sleeping at the slot's machine. I wanted to chill at JERRY LONGO'S & The Yard nightclub but it was only open on the weekends. As for the food there was not many places to eat and most of them closed early at night. Bally's casino cafe & Johnny Rockets food was good and reasonably priced. But Guy Fieri's Chophouse was real expensive so ignored that joint lol. They also have a Dunkin' Donuts. Overall I enjoyed myself at Bally's and would come back again.

Yelp
Bally's, all I can say is do not stay at this hotel, the rooms are horrible. I booked directly through the Bally's website and the pictures are very deceiving. The first room I was given was so small that 2 people could not fit, the room was dusty and mold present in the bathroom; and the sheets had stains on them. I complained at the front desk and was moved to another room that was better but not by much! The room had less dust, the bedding sheets were clean but the bathroom still had mold and was very outdated. I had cleaning supplies with me and cleaned the whole bathroom. Stay at your own risk.

Yelp
I was visiting Atlantic City and stayed at Bally's Atlantic City Hotel & Casino. Bally's Hotel and Casino is a mid-tier casino for Atlantic City. It's conveniently located on the boardwalk, but the rooms and casino are pretty average. Unlike some of the other casinos in Atlantic City, like the Ocean, Caesar's or the Hard Rock, Bally's lacks a lot of the grand amenities. The lobby is less prestigious with a lack of a big fountain or something of that sort. The casino is also separated from the hotel lobby rather than integrated like other nearby casinos. The rooms here and renovated to include modern TVs. However, there were no outlets by the beds, which was a bit odd and showed the age of the rooms to some respect. There are not a ton of dining options here. There is a food court and some casual dining options. For breakfast, there is only a Dunkin Donuts and the lines can last very long. I heard some people did not like the yelling out of numbers for drinks and sandwiches by the employees, either. Made it hard for people trying to work. The staff here is very nice and friendly. Elliot, the front desk person, as long with the concierge, the bellhop and valet attendants were all very nice and helpful. Altogether, Bally's Atlantic City Hotel & Casino is a decent hotel and casino in Atlantic City, but nothing extraordinary or special.

Yelp
Bally's was previously owned by Caesar's Entertainment, and was recently sold off and under new ownership. The transition has been difficult, to say the least. But I feel as if they are slowly starting to gain their standing. Slowly. And it's getting better than it was, when owned by Caesar's. I have stayed at Bally's several times, since the transition. First few were less than stellar. Latest one (last week) was pretty damn good. I was on the Bally's Tower in a large corner room (with an amazing bathroom) and great views in both the bathroom and main rooms. The renovated room was very clean, but the renovations are cheaply done and will wear quickly. I guess this is pretty much the norm in the hotels, these days. Pros: - My room was nicer than when we stay at Caesar's next door. - Staff is always helpful and friendly - There are some cheaper food options available (food court, DD, Johnny Rocket's) Cons: -Rooms have thin walls. You can hear EVERYTHING in the hall and adjoining rooms. EVERYTHING - Cleaning staff do a great job cleaning what they can see, but don't really LOOK to hard haha. So, expect things like bottles hidden behind desks, dirt in the fridge. Clean Dirty - Bally's seems to be struggling to hold decent sit down restaurants Overall, there is one main thing that I Love at Bally's, compared to the rooms next door at Caesar's. Caesar's bathroom door does not fully close, and you can see in the separation. WHY? What logical sense does it make to have a gap in the bathroom door where other guests can see inside . . . Bally's does not have this problem. My corner bathroom was AMAZING (see photo)

Yelp
I have stayed at Bally's countless times over the years, but unfortunately after the way my family was treated on our recent visit, 30 years of memories are ruined and I'll never stay there again. My dad is sick and it's hard for him to travel, but he pushed himself to make this trip (his first time traveling in more than five years). Ballys offered him 2 nights comp, and I booked a second room to make it a family trip like old times. We made both reservations on one 28-minute phone call (according to my mom's call log) with the same rep, ensuring that the rooms would be close together on the same floor of the Bally's Tower. On arrival, I am told that the rooms are in different towers. After explaining how I booked, the woman told me they could do a "call pull" where they would listen to our booking call (weird that as a loyal customer I wouldn't be believed). A few hours later, I was told that the pull "did not come back in my favor." It was clear to me and my mom that they had not listened to the phone call, since we had spent 28 minutes making and confirming the details of the 2 reservations. The front desk staff and management were surprisingly cold and unsympathetic, finally offering a room in the same tower but on a different floor. They told me it should be $100 more, so I should be happy. I don't care about the money. I would have gladly paid it for a room on the same floor. It was about being close to my sick father. After being treated so poorly and made to feel so small, the first day of a 2-day trip (the only amount of time my dad could get away) was ruined. Because now all I can think of is how poorly we were treated, which is such a shame given how many memories we'd made there over the years. Needless to say, I'll never stay there or recommend it again.

Yelp
I was expecting more from Bally's. What do I mean you may ask? The hotel is outdated. The hallways smell like rotten seafood. In some areas the carpet is loose. The rooms smell bad as well. The room smells like you left your laundry in the washer for a week and then you dry it. The decor is outdated; It felt like I went back in time to 1997 when the place was built. They don't even have the typical complimentary bottle water and coffee. The price you pay to stay here doesn't reflect the quality and service you will get at the Hotel.
