The Chelsea Beach Bar - Review - Atlantic City - Atlantic City - The Infatuation

"To paraphrase the lyricism of Vanessa Hudgens: if you’ve made it this far, you should have eaten and should have plenty of energy to dance. Chelsea Beach Bar is the classic Atlantic City spot where you can see someone doing consecutive body shots with the ocean’s waves in the background. Watch out for the sparkling bottles of tequila headed to the VIP, and maybe steal one to use as a signal flare if you lose track of one of your friends. If you like your AC nightlife with less sand and more strobe lights, HQ2 is a solid bet for dancing among smoke machines and intermittent confetti." - Anne Cruz

Great location! We went on a Saturday for sunset drinks, it was very empty could use better signage on the boardwalk. The DJ was great and then they switched to a band who was terrible. We left because of the music, we would have stayed longer if they kept the DJ or had a better band.

Google
Not one to complain because I work in hospitality so I understand how things go but my mom and I came here and paid a $10 cover each to get no service. It took 20 minutes for our waitress to come over and bring us 1 menu and then didn’t come back over at all. We waited and waited, mind you most of the umbrellas are broken. Would have been nice if she actually treated us like customers rather than just handing us a menu and saying I’ll be back. Didn’t even ask if we wanted water or drinks. Will not ever return.

Mr K

Google
Decent happy hour. But not happy when we went there friday about 7pm was told there was a $5 cover because there was a band starting at 8pm. Just wanted a drink and would have been gone before the band started. Plus, there are bands playing all over the city for free. Why nickel and dime people to death. Screw them. We left. Won't go back. It's not the money, it's the fact that places usually don't charge fees for a cover band in AC. So we went to Hard Rock and spent our money there, where they have great bands, and never a cover charge. Some managers are stupid.

Google
Awesome Beach Bar, probably if not the best on the boardwalk. Good music, awesome drinks with real liquornot bottom shelf no name garbage, great music, and good vibes. It was so good we came here twice out of our 4 days in AC.

Chuck G.

Google
Come on Ballys, great spot but spend some money and get some new umbrella that work and aren’t beat up and broken..

Jamie

Google
It was my first time coming here and it was a great first experience! First of all their umbrella/chair set is a great price! Compared to the other beach furniture rentals , you can’t beat it! The staff is very friendly! We had “Sherry” as our bartender! She was amazing ! Very sweet and attentive! Drinks and food were amazing ! Didn’t take long to get served food or drinks ! Definitely a great place to go for the day!

Really disappointed in this location; if you guys are about to close, please just let your patrons know and we will leave. Not stay for 5 minutes & to be berated by your “security.” I literally came here with a friend or two of mine and we bought a small (drink) cup that was worth $20 just for them to kick us out of the place. The security guard was hounding on me and acting like a jerk even though I was walking out of the place; he continued to be a loudmouth and was telling me to take it up with management. You guys need to manage your employees better and have someone let us know before we waste our money and our time coming all the way down here. It’s late at night. Why would I wanna walk around with a cup in my hand on the boardwalk when I could literally just get something like that at my hotel. I wanted to enjoy the night air, the beach & some GD lights not be rushed & barked at by an ‘employee.’ I was thinking about staying at this location in the summertime but now I’m definitely not doing it because of how I was treated just at this beach bar. Rushy employees and high priced drinks; no thanks.

Theresa R.

Google
Just look at the 1 star reviews and you will have your answer! This place used to be good but has sunk to a new low because of the staff. The security acted like neo nazi youth. Smiling the whole time while they stopped us at the entrance bc we had 1 beach bag and 2 camping chairs which were in their cases. It's a beach bar people will be coming from the beach! What happened next was insane. Btw I said I walked from the trop .9m to get there but still no admittance unless I wanted to leave all my stuff on the beach which they said they were not responsible for. Nope. I went around onto the beach area and found a rusty table and chairs area and left my husband there with the stuff went in to order drinks came out and the security moved him back to the entrance stating that the area we chose to sit in was vip! I went back over there with my drinks as security was still hassling me! This was triggering and I began to ask them questions like if they were part of ICE and critizied their choice for president recounting all the crappy things he's doing with healthcare for the poor, saying that this is a free beach and people come here because they are poor cant afford to pay for badges! Then I moved further out onto the beach area and said first of all I purchased drinks. Second of all that area doesnt look like vip with rusty tables...and if i was a vip i would not want to sit there...I moved outside the area that was roped off with my husband and set up my camping chairs so that we could sit and drink the beverages that I had just purchased from this godforsaken place and FYI this is a public beach! I said do you have a problem with me sitting here? Silence. A few minutes later 3 staff came and removed all the chairs snd rusty tables from the area and said FYI if vips came to sit there that they would have a problem with me sitting on that part of the public beach! But that he did not want to argue with me... What? This is not over... I was on the phone with food and bev office to recount this incident. No one should be treated like this.

Yelp
Nice beach Atmosphere. Good DJ. The food was thee quality of boxed bar food - limited options ans more for a quick bite to eat. Johnny Mac (bartender) had an interesting spirit and enhanced the experience. The female tending to the chair rentals could have been a little more interactive with customers. Not my first time here but my first review and first time dining. Still a good spot to have a few with friends or a significant other.

Yelp
Amazing!!!!! Ask for Sandy! Great service great drinks and a wild and fun ambiance! The prices for drinks are well worth what you pay. Right on the beach and has a live band. Once they put the barriers up at the entrance they will charge you $5 to get in but trust me when I say SANDY IS THE BAR TENDER TO GO TO! The $5 is well worth the experience! Great music great drinks and great service! Nevertheless you want the true Jersey welcoming ask for Sandy and she will give u the attitude the accident and the drinks that will make you want to come back for more...

Yelp
Saturday at 2:15. Not busy. Been waiting 1/2 hr to get food or any kind of service at a table. Went to bar. But they can't serve food at the bar. What?!!!!!!!! Never ever will be going back here. Only bright light was the blonde bartender.

Marysa S.

Yelp
This place is disappointing. A cover charge of $20 for mid over priced food and bad service is not worth it. Ignored by servers and bartenders for 25 minutes when it wasn't too busy yet. Ants crawling all over the wet bar. The only redeeming quality was the DJ. Maybe at night it's worth it.
google avatar

Marjan W.

Yelp
I've visited a couple of times at Atlantic City. It's convenient to grab drinks near the beach but for food, they had limited options when we visited (September 2022). They had a smaller menu and we got the chicken tenders and fries which was almost $20 which was very steep. We did order a drink bucket which was very strong and well worth the money. I would recommend for drinks but save your money to grab food elsewhere.

Yelp
Do not purchase cocktails, mixed drinks, buckets, etc. from this bar unless you want to get ripped off! Your best bet is getting a beer/wine since there is no standardization for the bartenders who are making the drinks. Jeronimo was the bartender who served me on Saturday, I purchased the cruzan bucket. The bucket says that it serves 4-6 on it, but was surprised when watching him make the drink and only include ice, sprite and lemonade, no alcohol. When bringing up the issue to him, he said that I needed to purchase another bucket. I saw that this was extremely unfair, especially since he was fulfilling orders from another rowdier group at the same time who was ordering shots. Although I may have looked like a younger patron compared to other people in the area (30-50s), he did not take me seriously and I was unsatisfied by the way that he handled the situation and his service, and don't think that he addressed it appropriately. There are other bars along the boardwalk that do not try to rip off or skimp patrons that are a lot better that I would rather bring my business to.

Yelp
This is the original AC beach bar (at least for me), destroyed by Sandy but rebuilt as Bally's Bikini Beach Bar. It's a pretty big bar with a dance floor, large bar, high tops, tables and even cabanas. They usually have live music as well when I'm there on the weekends. This time we got a bucket of Coronas. 5 for $25 which is a good deal here given that they go for $8 each which would be $40 individually. You can mix and match any of the beers listed on the part of the menu. They sell everything you'd want at a beach bar, frozen drinks, beer and full bar. One random thing -- they ran out of Corona on a Summer Sunday, not sure how that's even possible. I've always liked this place and will return every time I'm on the boardwalk.

Yelp
Summertime Casino gambling at the shore The sea breezes on the beach Cold beer and potent cocktails Sexy bikini clad waitresses working the deck Drink specials throughout the week Bar food menu to munch on Pumping music and live bands Plenty of seating to hang out on and people watch Hot chicks and meathead guys strutting their stuff on the dance floor A bit pricey but worth the fun beachy scene It's kind of cool in a low-brow way that keeps us coming back whenever we are here for a weekend getaway Oh yeah, we'll be back here this weekend with a frosty brew in hand partying at the shore! Sunglasses on, a drink in hand, enjoying the views Life is good at a casino beach bar in Atlantic City Party on
google avatar

Ashley H.

Yelp
This was a nice spot! They had great drink specials and different options for happy hour. They had a nice live band playing and attentive staff. This was a great break between the beach and the casino.
google avatar

Toni L.

Yelp
Horrible service, waitresses pass by you multiple times continuously ignoring you. Didn't even get a drink menu, although they greeted AND SERVED other customers after me. Then when you finally do receive a drink, avoid their cocktails....watered down and over priced
google avatar

Mariella S.

Yelp
Maybe it has all to do with us visiting on a Sunday night, but we had a GREAT time. There was no cover and they were mostly playing dancehall and r&b, which went just perfect with the summer breeze. The drinks are very pricey, however when we complained to our waitress she brought out shots to add to our drinks. I felt bad for her working in that tiny bikini, she was shivering the entire time! Ladies wear wedges if you want to wear heels my heel kept getting stuck in the boardwalk panels. Ugh! I absolutely believe the day you visit makes all the difference at this beach bar. Know you will be paying top dollar for weak cocktails but you may have fun dancing in the summer wind. Or heat depending on the time.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a serious people-watching paradise (during the summer). The live music is always great. I have yet to see a band I didn't like (I have not seen a country band there, ever). Whether it is the "Regular" dancers that seem to be there every day, or the guys who show up in denim speedos, or the girls that love to show off their ink (or other stuff I can't talk about or my wife would have my head), it is a fun place. Drinks aren't cheap and getting a table is really tough. Go early if you want to snag some prime real estate. Sitting closer to the stage can get VERY loud. The line at the bar is always a few people deep, so have patience if you can't get a table with a server. There is a LOT of room for dancing and some bands are getting people onto the floor than others. There is always something fun to see at this place.
google avatar

Nisha C.

Yelp
Okay so I've only been here once, and that's enough to make me want to come back again. My cousin and I bought a bucket for $16, and I love love love that it's an actual bucket unlike other places where a "bucket" is like a tall plastic glass. I will definitely bring this back and use it whenever I come back to AC. The staff was really nice and the views from the beach bar were perfect. The day was extremely hot though and it would have been cool if more of the tables had umbrellas. We didn't get to sit at a table with an umbrella and I felt my skin getting burnt. But honestly, no complaints from my end. Definitely a fun spot to go to!

Yelp
Most important point of this review is to check your receipt carefully. I didn't-- entirely my fault-- now left wondering how we spent what we did ($350 for 5 guys in 3 hours). With the alcohol consumed it just doesn't add up. My belief is that the gratuity was already included (and we added it on) or less likely, we were charged for an additional round we did not receive. My fault, but you need to check receipts carefully here, or be left with a bad feeling about this place. Having said that, this place is fun. Tough to get seating on a saturday afternoon. We had a great time people watching, both the beautiful women and many other "characters" to entertain you-- some of whom have had a little too much to drink.

Yelp
Live music, great drinks and good food, can't wait to go back next summer. Prices were good too, not to bad at all
google avatar

Kelsey G.

Yelp
SO a fun! The drinks are super strong and not a bad price for the amount of alcohol you're getting!

Ant S.

Yelp
Very nice place and the band Mystery Machine was fantastic and you should have them play more often
google avatar

Vinny C.

Yelp
Great to see this place back open for the summer. They have great live music and the waitress are back in bikinis! The drinks were great and service was great! Minor issue with my friends drink order but was taking care of by the manager on site.

Jennifer W.

Yelp
I've been here several times over the years and it's always a good time. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and they offer a decent selection of both alcohol and food. There is also live music. I came here once during Memorial Day Weekend and it was pretty wild. Our waitress was attentive and checked on us multiple times. We had several beers and the Trash Can Nachos - haha. They are actually a lot tastier than the name implies. They come in a ridiculously-sized tub - think of fried chicken tubs from KFC. Yeah. It's a tub of mystery - a little of this and a little of that. You never really know what you are biting into. So anyway, we were at least happy to have something to munch on because after all, we're day drinking at 2-3pm and by the time we left around 5pm, we were pretty buzzed. We would have been wasted but the nachos helped absorb some of the alcohol we consumed haha. Make sure to wear some sunblock if you are going on a sunny day like today - I'm sure I have some new freckles and a slight burn from this afternoon!!! Cheers!

Yelp
The dj was pretty bad, house band was worse, beer was great. The night was pretty much a bunch of white folk dancing while everyone else sat there highly entertained. if i have to listen to "don't stop believing" or "livin on a prayer" again I might just hang myself. 5$ coors light aluminum bottles, nice atmosphere, nice view...not a bad friday night overall ... i'd come again.
google avatar

J T.

Yelp
Check your wallet at the door and your receipt very carefully. Went here on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon. My first impression was positive and there was a dj playing thumpy music. Overall a decent atmosphere. We waited almost 10 minutes for our server who was pleasant. We ordered some $6 beers and a $11 pina colada. Much to my surprise when we were ready to settle up the waitress told us that the beers were $7.25. I showed her the $6 price on the menu and started mumbling about resort and luxury taxes. There was a section on the menu saying that the 10% NJ tax was included in the price. I hope I was pleasant enough to our server but I flat out refuse to be ripped off. She got the manager Matthew who mumbled the same stuff about the taxes. Guys -there is no combination of taxes that raise the price of a $6 beer to $7.25. Eventually the manager adjusted the tab but it took forever and was somewhat embarrassing. As I sit here at the beach with my group of friends we have decided not to go back there for drinks. What a scam. I wholeheartedly suggest that this establishment publish all fees and taxes on their menu. There is no way on gods green earth that a miller lite qualifies as a luxury tax item. I warn anybody going here to be very wary of the pricing structure.

Yelp
Just your average AC beach bar. There's nothing special about Bally's Bikini Beach Bar....but it has that "right on the beach" thing going for it. The drinks are overpriced and/or small but I guess that's the premium you need to pay for being right on the beach. I most recently visited on Labor Day; it had rained all day but the sun broke sometime in the late afternoon. There are a few specials each day and Monday's special included Cabo Wabo Margaritas. For $6 you received a moderately strong, 8-10 ounce drink. As we learned, the better deal is with the yards. For our next round, my husband and I split the 24 ounce "Can't Drive 55". It wasn't super strong, but it was larger and refreshing. There was a live musician playing an acoustic guitar at the time of the visit. He was playing some classic cover songs but also had his own canned applause. Take from that what you will. The Bikini Beach bar is always a fun time in a good location, but I probably wouldn't seek it out over other AC/beach bar options.
google avatar

Colleen V.

Yelp
I like the atmosphere of this place how can you not ......being on the beach and all. But I sat at the bar while watching the bartenders talk to each other ignoring not only me but everyone else at the bar. I waited for about what seemed like 7 min. And just left.
google avatar

DeLacey A.

Yelp
Perfect place to hang out with an ocean view. We were walking the boardwalk looking for a place to grab a drink and came across this bar right across from Bally's. It was right on the beach and there was live music, so we gave it a try. It wasn't too crowded, though it was early to late afternoon. The service was good, the staff friendly, and the prices were decent. They have daily specials and you can even get a beer bucket which has 5 beers that you can mix and match for a lower price. We ended up sharing pizza and fries, which satisfied the hunger. The pizza was actually a full size pizza, and you could add options to the fries like cheese, etc. We would definitely come here again if in the area.
google avatar

Joe M.

Yelp
Ok so it's no longer a bikini bar, that's fine still hot ladies most of the time. ONLY reason this is getting 3 stars is when the staff switched over the gentleman who took over never came to our table. Not once. Now I get it, 4 guys sitting there isn't a bunch of hot girls. But come take our order man. Everyone lose from the security to the girls working we're amazing. The bands are awesome. This guy just sucked. We had to walk tk the bar and order drinks then got an attitude for it.
google avatar

Juan N.

Yelp
We liked it a lot, it was late August, weather was great, it was a Thursday and it was not packed which I would have hated. Nice crowd, good selection of beers and drinks, waitresses are wearing bikinis. The live band was great!
google avatar

Scott J.

Yelp
Looking for a great spot for sun, stiff drinks and live music right on the beach?? Bally's Bikini Beach Bar fits the bill! We've been there multiple times over the past few years (nearly every day that we are in Atlantic City) and absolutely love hanging out there on the deck during the day. The bands start at 2pm and are consistently good. The drinks are outstanding with mutiple drink specials every day. Don't foo foo those 24 oz huge blue drinks that you see because they are loaded with alcohol and are a great deal! As for the service....yes, we've been there twice where the service was horrible at the tables...both times were early on in the week around lunchtime. But every other time we found the girls to be super nice and good waitresses. Last week, once we sat at a table and knew it was one of those 'bad service' times, we just moved to the bar where the bartenders have always been great! So on to the food....if you're looking for a good meal, walk across the boardwalk to Harry's Oyster Bar & Seafood. If you're ok with a decent Boardwalk Dog, good Turkey Wrap, ok burger, or not so good chicken fingers, then go ahead and order here. They have a short bar menu (dogs, nachos, chicken fingers, etc) that are available at the bar...and the rest of their food comes from Pickle's Deli (located in Bally's). One great thing about this place is you can take your drinks right on to the beach...and during Fri-Sun the girls will actually serve those on the beach (up to a certain point). They were also building out a deck that will double the size of the existing space..not sure when it will open but I'd assume prior to the July 4th weekend. We haven't done any of the nights there, nor been on a packed out Fri or Saturday...but love the beach bar and will definitely be back during all future trips to Atlantic City!
google avatar

Wayne S.

Yelp
Cool place. Had live music. Drinks are the best out of any beach bar. Props to that. I do like the bungalow setup the best though however this place is runner up. Lots of seating cabanas etc. They have drink specials too
google avatar

Isabel J.

Yelp
I really like this place. Every time I visit AC I make sure to come here. The drinks and the food are good but what I really like about this place its the live music and that since its on the beach you feel like you are away.
google avatar

Rae Marie Y.

Yelp
While walking along the boardwalk you can hear the sounds of top 40 rising up in the air that makes you want to stop and get your dancing on right there on the boardwalk. My friends and I came for drinks and dancing. There was no cover. The drinks were delicious and the music was the best part of the night. Garden State Radio, a cover band, was there performing. The female lead singer was awesome as she would jump off the stage and dance and sing with the people at the bar. SHE WAS REALLY GOOD! There weren't very many people there that night but I'm sure it was because it was a COLD night. When it warms up, I have no doubt this place will be poppin'. Besides, I enjoy dancing much more when I don't have to rub up on sweaty bodies accidentally. ;) This spot was definitely the highlight of my AC trip and I'd rather come here than pay some crazy cover for the Pool After Dark (which we did do the next night).
google avatar

Joe D.

Yelp
I really like this place pretty good deals if you check the daily specials. I'm ready for it now considering is Zero degrees outside right now. Let's go labor day!
google avatar

Yasmeen T.

Yelp
Cool spot for drinks, listening to music (club music), beach view, and wonderfully created drink menu. Unfortunately I didn't get to try anything. I was looking for a spot with a pretty decent menu and drinks. So I trotted along the wooden ramp to this place. I immediately requested and was given a drink menu. When I inquired about the food menu the bartender didn't appear to know where it was. Now I understand why lol. The menu had about 5 items on it and all I remember seeing on there were hot dogs. The drink menu on the other hand was well thought out, elaborate, and creative. I would definitely come back to this spot, it sits on the beach and would be great for drinks after dinner or just chillin with friends. Pros: spacious, on the beach, on the board walk, drinks, music, atmosphere. Cons: poor food menu selection, bartenders could be a bit more attentive. Also, I was here on a Sunday evening. No cover, not crowded.
google avatar

Alisa P.

Yelp
From a few weeks back (mid August) - We were staying at Bally's so we had a drink here while at the beach and then came back down for a drink before dinner after we showered and changed. They have a lot of specials for each day. The day time bartender was very friendly and helpful answering our questions about the specials and drinks they had. When we came back around 5/6 we had a different bartender and she was not nice at all. She had an attitude the entire time. They also refused to hold a tab on a card, which I've never seen before. They actually charged my moms card and made her sign it, leaving the tip and amount blank, before we decided whether we would close it or order more. This may be their policy but I thought it was very odd. The drinks were OK, only worth the price because of the specials. The atmosphere is very cool but the music was a little too loud and there were flies ALL over the bar, which skeeved me out.
google avatar

Kendra J.

Yelp
This place is pretty cool! On the boardwalk, daily drink specials, live music, great drinks, half dressed waitresses, spacious dance floor... Awesomeness! I ordered a drink only because my crew and I were saving room. For the hotel buffet. I'd definitely recommend this spot to visitors of the AC strip. Getting a table is no easy task though, especially on a nice day.
google avatar

Marisa F.

Yelp
Had time to kill before dinner and was attracted to this place after hearing the live band from the boardwalk. We went on a thurs which was $5 Miller lites, $6.50 lemonade vodkas and $6.50 cherry limeades. I got the limeade and loved it! My boyfriend got the lemonade vodka and enjoyed it although he thought it was too sweet for his liking. He asked the bartender if instead he could just have water in place of the lemonade but was told "no my boss won't allow it it'll be $12" -- I don't really understand how swapping out lemonade for water can't be done?????? Stupid rule, real stupid. Waitresses are in matching Victoria secrets bikinis and some of the crowd it draws is trashy AF but not bad to go for one or two drinks.
google avatar

Darwin K.

Yelp
Atmosphere depends on the cover band playing. On this day, not so great. Paying a little extra to drink near the water on a nice day is never a bad thing. Make sure to check your bill before you leave. We were charged an extra $100 because the specials we were drinking weren't reflected on the bill, they've had the same specials for at least 2 years. So either servers with poor knowledge or ill intentions. I guess things move slowly here. 25 minutes and 2 adjustments later it was fixed...but wtf???

Derek B.

Yelp
Went here tonight for drinks. Don't bother if you actually want alcohol in your drink. Everyone's drinks were severely watered down for the price. You think you're getting a deal on a $6 dollar "special", but it's all juice and ice. Absolut was on special tonight, so we got a few different combinations of vodka drinks and they were all watered down and had hardly any alcohol in them. They serve it in a big cup so it looks like a deal, but it's really not. Honestly if you had me drink these on any random day, I wouldn't think there was any alcohol in them. I understand that bars and restaurants will never put a ton of alcohol in a drink like you could at home, but these were some of the worst we've ever had. It wouldn't surprise me if they were putting less than a shot of alcohol into a 16 oz glass or even watering it down on purpose. We went in a group of 8 and nobody enjoyed their drinks. We left after two rounds. Total waste of money... the Mountain Bar across the street might have smaller drink cups, but at least there's ample amount of alcohol in them.

NaSondra N.

Yelp
It was my first time hanging out at this spot which is crazy because I've taken plenty of summer trips to Atlantic City staying at Ballys. I enjoyed the live DJ playing on a Friday night. I thought they were going to stay on until 3am but they closed up and everyone cleared by 1am. The bartender was friendly and I had ordered a shot of patron so I don't know how their mixed drinks are there. I saw they had a rum bucket as a sale item.
google avatar

Charles B.

Yelp
This is exactly what you'd expect based upon its name. A Hooters-esque outdoor bar on a deck platform on the beach. There are plenty of tables and many with umbrellas. They have some nice drink deals for well-made drinks (especially on weekdays). Service was polite and contributes to the beauty of the scenery. Relaxing setting with live music at certain times. The only weak spot is that they don't seem to have real restrooms - only port-a-potties.
google avatar

Lesley H.

Yelp
4 Stars for the music alone! Summer schedule features 3 different DJ's/local bands everyday... so the music is pumping non-stop! Large deck area in the front of the stage, perfect for dancing. Bikini clad servers, yet we had to go to the bar for service... minus 1 star. Super helpful security when I had a 'I lost my purse!' scare; only to later find it in my hotel room.
google avatar

Yelp
I don't know anyone who can turn down a beach bar. It has summer written all over it. We wandered over to the bar to escape the afternoon sun, and wait for our room to be ready. The name of the place says it all. It's located on the boardwalk side of Bally's and most of the servers are pretty girls in orange bikinis. Most of the crowd (and it was a little packed) consisted of typical fist-pumping bros, young ladies traveling in pairs, and middle aged couples who've seen the inside of a plastic surgeon's office. There was no cover at the time, and there was a decent cover band playing. We only had a couple of drinks. 24oz concoctions in those novelty funnels. They were strong, tasty, and ran for $13. Next time I'm on the boardwalk, a return trip is in order.

Yelp
We paid a $5 cover to get in on a Sunday afternoon. Worth it. They have drink specials and it's rare to find in AC. They had a band and DJ and the staff was nice. No complaints. We had a good time here!

Yelp
Daytime summer fun! This beach bar is located right on the beach obviously lol. Super fun place although this place is a first come first serve find a table & seat and grab it. There was a $5 cover charge entering not sure if it was because it was 4th of July weekend or normally a cover charge on a regular basis. The drinks were kind of pricey but I'm not surprised. There was a dj / live music and overall the ambience felt kind of jersey shore meatheads w/ their near perfect waxed eyebrows. Way to feminine it's kind of scary. Not my kind of scene but there was a bar on the beach! Drinks, dranks and food! - Coconut Shrimp (I would pass on ordering this) - Guacamole & Chips (This is by far my favorite) - Chicken Caesar Salad (I'm not a veggie person so I ate the chicken while my friend ate the veggie. The caesar dressing is to die for! Ask for extra dressing because once you order it that's it. The food comes from inside Bally's restaurant I believe because when we ordered the food took a awhile and we see the busboy's / waitress's carrying brown bags into the beach bar. So the food is definitely not coming directly from the beach bar. Service was ok.

Yelp
This spot is pumping anytime of the day! We checked this place out a few times....lol Nice size bar, on a deck, lots of tables with umbrellas. They also have bar stool type seating that faces the beach, with a small wooden counter, great way to enjoy your drinks, watching the water and enjoying the sun! First time was when we decided to take a stroll on the boardwalk after dinner on a thurs nite, we were staying at trump plaza so we were planning on going to trumps beach bar, but it was already closed. We could HEAR the party before we could see the place. It was 11ish, crowd was party'ing it up hard core status, DJ had this crowd going!! Great music! Second time was Friday afternoon, it was a stop on our bar hop trip. Once again, great crowd, great music and reasonably priced drinks. We got some type of long island ice tea, nice size cup, good drink.....think is was 7 or 8 bucks....cheers!! Third time we didn't actually go in, but decided to park our beach blanket in front, as it was a beach day for us. A Saturday afternoon, once again, DJ had the crowd going and even gave us on the beach a few shout outs, since lots of others had the same idea hanging out in front of this spot and enjoying the music. (they even had live music) Was a really cool way to chill on the beach! Open till 4am on thurs. Great service! Drink specials! They also serve appetizers, nachos and stuff...lol

Yelp
3 stars for location. Overpriced drinks ($11 for a frozen marg, according to the menu.) So, we had to complain when they charged us a whopping $13 each. The manager made it right and comped our drinks, so props for that. Just check your bill in case you are distracted by the bikini-clad waitresses.

Yelp
We had a bizarre experience here at 6:30 Memorial day Monday. I grabbed a table and my boyfriend went to get a drink at the bar where there was a line of people ordering drinks. The two waitresses on the backside of the bar were running around trying to keep up with the orders and didn't make eye contact with me so I figured I would just wait for him to come back from the bar with the drinks. After 10 minutes he came back but said he couldn't pay because the tables are for waitress service only. After we finished our beers we flagged down an already busy server and explained we had to pay for two beers and she was clearly confused. She clearly took the money and we left her a tip mostly for bothering her with the odd situation. Great location, good vibe, just very understaffed as it took 10 minutes for 2 draft beers , the servers had to clean their own tables which were still left dirty, all while they were trying to get orders and drinks out to their tables as fast as possible. We'd give it another chance especially now that we know the table service rules.

Yelp
Conceptually I'm a little lost on the idea...Pay for drinks on a small deck area...when you could just bring your own drinks packed into a cooler, lay out on the beach with the sand beneath you and a cool breeze coming off the water. For me, it just seems like I'd rather be on the beach, or in the casino. Being located between the two, you don't seem to be getting the best of either side. $5 cover charge, which wasn't bad and the music was good until they brought in a live act that was nothing special and seemed like they drove away some of the crowd. You could hear the music from on the beach anyways, so nothing special about being inside. If you didn't bring your own drinks to the beach, you could go in and ask for a waitress to come to your location on the beach, which was the only part I could really understand that would make you want to utilize the bar area, but maybe I've just seen it done better elsewhere. If they offered some table games out on the beach, I could see why this would have been a good idea. Gets the gambling part of the casino but out in the sun.

Yelp
After checking into our hotel we ventured out looking for a place to hang out in & enjoy the nice day. Found this bar through Yelp , we decided to give it a try. Memorial Day weekend cover charge was $10 not bad at all , we came in the place was pretty crowded but still there was plenty of room to move around. Nice size area with plenty of seating , couches , tables & beer stands along with the bar & the stage for performing with plenty space to dance right in front. There was a live band playing don't recall the name of the act but it was pretty entertaining. Once we got settled we stared with some drinks bar area was crowded so we grabbed a quick beer from one of the beer stands , got some Coronas not bad to start. After a few later on tried a Strawberry daiquiri pretty good & u could taste the alcohol. Next was the Passion fruit punch bucket good in theory , drink wasn't bad but it has a lot of juice very filling had to get an extra shot of the rum in order to be able to finish it. This place was a lot of fun , great music playing when the act wasn't on stage , service was a bit slow at the bar but ok since it was a crowded holiday weekend, prices were not bad good day spent here.

Yelp
Music was good. Atmosphere was typical beach par. Basic drinks. We were brought some menus and decided to order some food. Took 45 min and the pizza arrived. It was under cooked but edible. We ordered wings and wing platter (with French fries) An Hour and fifteen min after we placed the order the wings came out. No fries and cold. When asked if they came with a dipping sauce we were told that yes but it must have been forgotten and the kitchen was to far away. (Explains why they were cold) disappointing as I was looking forward to trying food from Guy Fieri Chophouse. A meatball Parm sandwich arrived 1 hour and 35 min after ordered. Decent. 2 hours and 15 min after order was placed the loaded fries and the fries that came with wings arrived. They were at least hot. Asked for ketchup and it never came. The staff was nice. And I am Aware it's not the waitress fault that food was coming from hotel and took some time. But it was cold. I'm shocked Guy Fieri would put his name on sub par food. The dipping sauces never came. I would also understand if it was a busy summer afternoon. This was a random Wednesday and the bar was not crowded at all. At one point 6 waitresses were standing around chatting for a solid 15 min. Very disappointing. Will not be returning.
