We tried several cocktails—both the classics and the house specials—and they were genuinely excellent. Thoughtfully crafted, balanced, and surprisingly creative. When it comes to drinks, this place delivers. As for the food… it was tasty, sure, but wildly overpriced. When a sliced tomato sets you back €20, you start to wonder if inflation has hit the garnish tray. Overall, it’s a lovely spot for a stylish aperitivo, but if you’re coming hungry—bring a full wallet or lower expectations.

Relaxed lounge atmosphere. Juan and Patricio are very friendly and can guide you with some interesting and refreshing suggestions. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

An amazing hotel bar! Juan took great care of us during our stay. His craftsmanship, kindness, and vibe really made us feel welcome. We enjoyed starting the evening here, and having a night cap after some great food in Madrid.

Great food and drinks overall. Pleasantly surprised with the burrata which went well sweet tomatoes. The prawns in the spaghetti had a good umami taste; the grilled salmon was tender and the skin was crispy. Had a really good apple tart as well.

Best cocktail bar in Madrid with a perfect combination between the classic cocktail venue and modern creations. I have been going there for years and it never goes wrong. A must if you are in town and feel like a cocktail.

Food is not bad and service was prompt. But we ordered gambas blancas (white shrimp) off the menu as it was our favorite seafood from the whole trip to Spain and this was our last dinner before flying out. The dish that came out was gamba rojas (red shrimp) and server insisted it was white shrimp (“it just looks like this when you cook it”) when we mentioned it. We literally ate white shrimp in Andalusia the day before, and this, fam, ain’t it. Would have been nice if they just acknowledged it instead of denying - for a true five-star hotel level experience. Also there was a request for a tip at the end which was surprising for Europe. Maybe the cocktails are good here but the food would probably have been more memorable in the areas nearby.

Beautiful bar in Hotel Fenix. We got to try some cocktails while staying at the hotel. I highly recommend the tiramisu martini!!
