Baloci

My second time visiting Baloci and the service was incredible. Our Waiter Flo was very helpful and informative in regards to the Menu. I have a gluten intolerance and they catered to my needs. The gluten free sandwiches and desserts were nice, however, the scones were not very nice. They completely crumbled and there was no sugar in the scone so it tasted more like a savoury item. I would always recommend Baloci as the service is 10/10 and the food is delicious.

If you're looking for somewhere unique and beautiful to stay Baloci is highly recommended by us. From the moment of our arrival the staff we on hand delivering an outstanding service throughout our entire stay. Every moment was perfection with the highest of standards, from our beautiful bedroom, luxury bath, and great facilities. There are 2 stunning bars, an amazing dining experience, the 6 course taster menu was superb. The outside space was gorgeous, a lovely setting to relax with outdoor heating available. We cannot wait to visit again 😀

What. A. Venue! We took our grandma for afternoon tea at the start of the year and the way they treated, accommodated and cared for us was second to none. We loved it so much we got in touch to host our wedding dinner, and shout out to Rich for the service, kindness and hospitality he showed us. Nothing was too much trouble, from arranging the tasting menu, to creating a seating plan and agenda, the whole thing was executed flawlessly. The food was hot, delicious and had a real wow factor which our guests loved. Our auntie was in awe of the presentation and cutlery! There were so many special touches and the whole experience was bespoke and special. Thank you to Rich and the team for an unforgettable day and stay ( we were very sad to check out! )

Had an amazing stay here whilst attending an event at Edgbaston Cricket ground. The attention to detail is outstanding Every staff member was lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Had one of the best margarita cocktails ever and they had even thought of doing half the glass with salt and half not in case you didn't like a salt rimmed glass. Just gorgeous

What a brilliant boutique hotel! From the moment I arrived I was welcomed with 5* treatment - I was met outside and had help with my luggage, and was given a little tour of my room (the Babylon); how things worked etc. The bed was really comfy; the massive bathtub in the middle of the room was just incredible; the towels and and bathrobes where the fluffiest I’ve ever experienced, and the free biscuits, tea and various selection of sparkling wine, water and drinks were such a lovely unexpected extra! The team working at this hotel were also fantastic and really made sure I had everything I could need for just my one night stay! Couldn’t fault a thing, thank you Baloci ❤️

Afternoon tea at this establishment was an exceptional experience, revealing Birmingham’s hidden gem. From the outset, the service and quality were outstanding. A sincere thank you to our host, Farah, who took the time to show us around their remarkable venue. We eagerly anticipate returning for future dining experiences.

The Baloci far surpassed all expectations. From my arrival to departure, the host, Rich, made me feel like a queen in a palace! His attention to detail was amazing. He greeted me with a warmth and ease that’s rare to find these days. I am more than impressed with his hospitality skills and the luxury feeling of the hotel.

Wow, what an incredible experience we had during our stay at Baloci! It was worth every penny—not just a place to stay, but truly an experience. Each room is designed with so much thought and creativity, telling its own story. We stayed in the Marco Polo room which was gorgeous. A big thank you to Rich, who made the booking process seamless and answered all my questions with great patience and care. The restaurant and bar area is stunning, and the food was absolutely amazing. We highly recommend the Imperial Makhani for dinner and the Shakshouka for breakfast—both were so flavourful! Special thanks to Vussi and Flo, who provided exceptional service. They are truly a credit to the team. We’d love to come back for a special occasion. While it is on the pricier side, it’s worth every bit for a memorable stay!
