Coffee and pastries were good. The soups are delicious 😋. They have a lot of selection of sweet and savoury foods. Friendly staff. Nice seating area.

Awesome little spot in mining country. English spoken and, best of all, they have a cappuccino option with ONLY foam. Balthazar is a man after my own cappuccino heart. Merci!

This is a cozy and spacious place for all kinds of things, from quick eats like coffee or baked goods, to hours long working session with comfy meals like soups, salads, sandwiches and wraps. They're pretty decent and filling, and reasonably priced as well. Go here for a get together sit and chat, or for a place to work. You can get a small table if you're by yourself, or get a larger one at the back for group discussions with your friends or colleagues. Either way, it's worth giving a try.

A little gem in Val-d'Or. Get the 1/2 panini. With salad and soup or two salad sides, it's plenty. Well priced for the quality. Remember to clear your tray from the table.

Good coffee, staff is nice to people. Try the Iced Lattee Coffee with coconut milk and vanilla, it's delicious.

Good coffee and generally good customer service. They offer a nice and wide variety of panini and viennoiseries, which are actual good. I prefer asking when the croissant are made though, because I've been served older batches quite a few time.

Nice place to stop in for a quick bite to eat, fresh sandwiches, salads and soups. Great place for a good cup of coffee (or speciality coffees).

This isn't a hole in the wall; it's a place you can either sit for hours with a book or come here for an iced coffee with friends. Situated on the main strip, this petite cafe doesn't look like much from the inside. When you step in, you are met with the smells of cholatine croissants and fresh baked loaves. In the back, there is a beautiful and spacious interior with a full bar. There is a huge selection of sandwiches, many which are about the size of your face, and really not meant to be eaten in a single sitting. You can, however, order half a sandwich. I was impressed that there are two vegetarian options here. I tried the vegetarian pate sandwich (made in store), which was crusted with almonds and herbs. There was lettuce, spiced mayonnaise and a slice of Quebecois cheese as well. The staff will heat it up on the grill. Holy cow! It was amazingly tasty and definitely something I will have to order again! A staple in Val D'Or. DOWNSIDE: Like most of Val D'Or, it is not wheelchair-accessible. AIRPORT: The airport also has a kiosk that sells some of their sandwiches.

We were just passing through town, and learned about this place from another review. It is delightful. They were all bilingual, and we ordered sandwiches and sides (all the salads were well dressed and tasty) I had the vegetarian, which they heated, with multigrain salad and corn salad. All delicious.
